Great visit. Twila was very friendly and helpful with finding dinner, directions, and other info on the area.

I had been hoping to stay right under the Devil's Tower. It turned out that this was a much better location--away from all of the crowds and all peace and quiet. Twyla is a great Innkeeper and has great taste in making the rooms inviting and comfortable. Breakfast was great--I am not sure how she does it all herself, cleaning rooms, managing reservations, and cooking the special breakfasts. You will really find that this B&B is perfect for a visit to the Devil's Tower and surrounding area! Thank you...!.

We are private people, and we don't socialize much. Somehow in the warm, friendly atmosphere Twila has created, we came away with new friends and a feeling of well-being. Privacy was never an issue. Experiencing the beauty of Wyoming was never easier, and we would not hesitate to return or recommend to friends. Job well done, Twila!

Twila showed us amazing hospitality and flexibility as we showed a little late. The home was cozy and beautiful. Large deck both up and downstairs. Breakfast was great, and the company wasextremely welcoming. Will definitely stay again, and will recommend to anyone. not to mention it was just down the road from devils tower.

We enjoyed a wonderful one-night stay in mid-July. The room was extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and our hostess very gracious. The area is beautiful and so relaxing. Breakfast was wonderful and served for our schedule and not the hosts (as it was at some other inns). Twilas accommodation to our needs was first-rate.

Twila was such a gracious hostess, her home was a clean and comfortable respite for our adventure filled vacation. It was clean, we'll appointed with everything you could need. The breakfast was scratch made every morning and she accommodated our crazy schedule. It felt like going to visit Grandma's house. We slept like babies in the peaceful environment and felt very much at home. It was a great way to end our vacation. We highly recommend staying with Twila if you're ever in the Devils Tower area. You won't be disappointed!!!

Can say nothing but great things about this B&B and Twila's welcoming personality. Our room was spacious, well appointed, and nicely decorated. The private bath was spotless and every need provided for. The grounds are quiet and spacious, well off the road, with horses grazing in the pasture. The guest area is completely separate from the owners level. The guest area has two sitting areas, a dining table, a game area, stocked book shelves, refrig, micro, sink, and all the accoutrements of home. Breakfast featured, egg dish, homemade bread, sausage, fresh fruit and assorted drinks. Twila also went out of her way to accomodate some special dietary needs we had. Do not miss an opportunity to experience this excellent B&B.

Wonderful first time experience! We have been relunctant to try a B&B but found the experience truly fun and enjoyable. The area was quiet and peacful and the breakfasts were excellent! Roy and Twila Pilcher are gracious and attentive hosts and also observed our need for some privacy. They are seperate from the lower rooms and dining area and offer accomodations for preferred times to eat and prepare food for those with allergies. My husband and I enjoyed their lower deck and outside seating with select coffees and a great view of the beautiful land around their home. The Pilchers are only 4 miles from Devil'sTower and are fairly close to surrounding small towns with museums and fine dining. We will definately stay at Sawin'Logs next time we travel to North Eastern Wyoming and, we will try more B&B's in other locations!

We were on a wonderful vacation, traveling from Chicago to Yellowstone. (and all points in between) Half camping and half hotel stays. On our visit to Devil's Tower we had a campground reserved. We were behind schedule and didn't arrive in Devil's Tower until nearly dark. Driving through the dark night we were somewhat lost and happened to see the lights from Sawin' Logs. We stopped to ask directions. Twila told us where to find our campground. She also told us she had an available room if we needed it. After driving to our campground and finding it completely abandoned and scary, we decided to go back and take Twila up on her offer to stay. This turned out the be one of the best stays of our entire vacation! Sawin' Logs is wonderful! Very clean, spacious, and homey. Twila was a fantastic hostess. I HIGHLY recommend staying here! Make sure you ask Twila to make the cinnamon chip scones for breakfast. They are to die for! (I even took a couple w/ me for the road) Thanks again Twila. I'll definitely stay again if I'm in the area!

What a wonderful experience! I was visiting Devil's Tower with some friends who were RVing for 3 weeks. Found Sawin' Logs on Google Earth due to its proximity to the KOA. When I arrived I was greeted at the door by Twila, who gets that at a commercial chain hotel/motel? No one, that's who! The my room was beautiful, fluffy carpet, very comfortable bed, my own bathroom and temperature control. I had a beautiful view of some Wyoming landscape. I was only able to stay 1 night, but it was a great night! Breakfast was awesome, home cooked and healthy :)! I would definitely recommend staying at Sawin' Logs, I like supporting local businesses and with the service and hospitality that you receive here, your money will be well spent. A very happy traveler!

This was our first stay (ever) in a bed and breakfast, so we did not really know what to expect. Twila was so warm, friendly and welcoming! The room was beautifully outfitted, but the A/C did not cool the room as well as we liked, so we were a bit warm at night. But the breakfast more than made up for it! We would love to go back, as the area was so peaceful. We watched deer on the lawn from the guests' deck in the morning. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

My husband and I stayed a night in June 2013. This B&B exceeded expectations in all categories. The towels were fluffy. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, The breakfast was great, with delicious egg soufflé and a fresh fruit with yogurt parfait, homemade muffins and other items, too. Best of all, it was quiet.

My husband and I are on an extended road trip. We ran across some bad weather in Wyoming. We were a little early in the season and everything was closed. We stumbled across Sawin Logs and we are so glad we did. Twila was so warm and welcoming. She made our stay so wonderful and relaxing. Her breakfasts are so delicious! We would love to stay here again!

Sawin' Logs Bed and Breakfast is a first-rate bed and breakfast stop near Devil's Tower. The owners, Twila and Roy, are hospitable and professional and run a first class operation. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and homey and there is a wonderful shared room for guests that includes a library and game table, along with several reading nooks. The breakfast was delicious, reflecting Twila's passion for baking and cooking. We had individual egg bakes and pumpkin coffee cake, with freshly cooked applesauce, and sausage on the side. Before breakfast, I woke up early and sat on the porch to watch deer grazing on the beautiful Wyoming countryside. Sawin' Logs is quiet and peaceful, and provided a stay that was more than reasonably priced, especially compared to other places we stayed on this vacation. I highly recommend Sawin' Logs B & B for its' affordability, comfort, excellent food, and peaceful atmosphere.

My husband and I spent two nights here recently, and enjoyed every moment. When we walked up to the house on our arrival, Twila had just watered the petunias that grace the large deck, and the evening air was so fragrant. She was so welcoming. Roy was such a sweetheart. The food was lovely. We would highly recommend it. ~ Do be aware that restaurant options near Devils Tower are few. One night we brought frozen pizzas back to the B&B and ate them on the deck. It was perfect.

We had a lovely time at this bed and breakfast. The rooms are nicely appointed, the decks and patio offer wonderful views and the location is peaceful. We appreciated all the nice touches and the very nice room decor. The hosts are lovely people and provide a fantastic breakfast. It was an unexpected pleasure and we will be sure to recommend to our friends.

My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived here on the second day of our vacation. Twila and Roy are wonderful hosts who run a comfortable, clean, charming yet modern B &B. In the morning Twila served us a delicious breakfast and when I mentioned how good the muffins were she kindly packed them for us to take along. Of the eight different places we stayed at in eight days, this was by far the nicest.

This is the perfect place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, and clean, the view was spectacular, and Roy & Twila were great host. The food was great! We stayed with our two kids and everyone enjoyed it.

My wife and I both really enjoyed our stay. This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience. Twila has definitely set the bar very hi. The service was wonderful, as were the views, rooms, meals and just the whole all around experience. We will definitely recommend this to any of our friends. And we already would like to go back. Thanks Twila!

Roy and Twila were great hosts. Twila gave us a wonderful breakfast each morning. The rooms are very comfortable and there is plenty of room in the common area to relax. We had wonderful conversations with Roy and Twila and felt so at home with them.

We came west for a sad reason: attending a funeral and helping cousins clean out their dad's house. After that, we craved some "down time" with peace and quiet. We found what we were looking for at Sawin' Logs. Twila met us with a warm smile, showed us to our room, and gave us space to decompress. There's nothing more relaxing than sitting on the inn's huge porch and gazing out at the fields and hills. Twila and Roy are delightful, friendly, helpful, full of fun. Attentive, too! For example, after staying up late to see the full moon in Wyoming's vast sky, we returned to our room when clouds rolled in and blocked the view. After a while, Twila came running to our door to announce that the clouds had parted to reveal a big red moon. We stood outside with her for a long time, just gazing at the beautiful sight. During our 3-night stay, Twila and Roy became like family to us, and their other guests were interesting people who were fun to meet. The basics: 1. Sleeping rooms and en suite bathrooms are spacious, beautiful and furnished with the needs of travelers in mind. 2. The common spaces are sunny and open and full of comfy seating, books, games, and ways to prepare popcorn 24/7. 3. Refrigerator space is available. 4. Breakfasts are delicious and satisfying without being "heavy." 5. Lots of space on the porches and decks for relaxing. 6. Just a few minutes away from Devil's Tower and a great "base camp" for touring in northeastern Wyoming and the northern tip of the Black Hills in South Dakota. All in all, a wonderful place to stay. We highly recommend it. Fran and David from Kentucky

At the very last minute my new husband and I got a wild hair to avoid the wildfires in Colorado and Utah and see the west. Roy and Twila along with the other guests and clean and perfect rooms made our nights stay perfect. We had decided to only stay at and eat at family owned businesses. This was the best idea we had ever had. Thank God for wild hairs and wild fires. PS when Twila hands you the honey just take it. We joked that she should sell the stuff and we were happy to find it when we got to yellowstone!

We checked in Thursday evening and checked out Sunday. Twilla and Roy are very gracious and friendly hosts. We had a wonderful just talking with them to figure out what was going on in the local area...and what we wanted for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent and served when we requested it. The rooms (queen bed) and bathrooms were fresh and clean. The grounds are neat and don't pass up the opportunity to visit Roy's chainsaw art studio. We can't wait to visit again.

Roy and Twyla are great hosts. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and pretty. The great room is open and spacious and inviting. The very tasty and plentiful breakfast is served at a table looking out on the hills and there is a great deck for outside eating and visiting. A wonderful place.

This is a really lovely place to stay and a perfect location from which to visit Devil's Tower. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable, as is the central guests' sitting room. We so enjoyed meeting Twila and Roy, who are gracious, charming and interesting hosts and as for Twila's breakfast, all we can say is that it is huge and absolutely delicious! Highly recommended - we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Roy and Twila are super hosts. Everything about their B&B was outstanding. Special memories are of Roy sharing his ice cream and Twila giving us her Oatmeal Bake recipe. I will highly recommend their home

A beautiful and quiet location very close to Devils Tower. The most relaxing B&B we ever stayed in. The home is neat, clean, modern and very comfortable. Twila was a most gracious hostess (Roy was away on business and we did not have the pleasure of meeting him) and the breakfast was fabulous. It was the best night of our twelve day, four state trip.

We have stayed at B & B's all over the world and this one ranks near the top of the list. Twila is the perfect hostess. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the whole place exudes warmth and coziness. Breakfast is a culinary treat - no lunch for us after such a huge breakfast! When visiting Devils Tower area, look no further than Sawin Logs for a wonderful stay. The Risings

We were not planning on staying at a B & B that night but we started looking for one - Sawin' Logs was the first we saw and I am so glad we chose to stay there! It's in a quiet corner of Wyoming, the house opens up to a gorgeous view with a pine forest in the distance. The rooms were immaculate, I could have spend the night in the bathroom it was that nice! Twila and Roy are so welcoming and friendly and they fix a superb breakfast! Between the great people, fantastic rooms, and their adorable dog, Doggie, to greet us when we got there it was a very nice stay!

The hosts have created a lovely space for guests, with a lot of attention to detail and comfort and only a short drive from Devil's Tower monument. Our room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was delicious; best peach smoothie I've ever had. Hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

My husband had wanted to see Devil's Tower for 33 years. Finally we were about to make his dream come true and calling Sawin Logs B&B added to the wonderful experience. Twila met us at the door and made us feel right at home. We had the pick of three beautiful, spa-like rooms. The home atmosphere was a welcome after many stays at impersonal hotels. We loved sitting on the huge front deck at night listening to the sounds and star gazing. After an excellent nights sleep we awoke to a amazing breakfast waiting for us on a beautiful table setting. We had great conversations, great sleep and a breakfast to die for. Thanks Twila and Roy for opening an amazing B&B. Hopefully we will vistit again. Sawin Logs is a clean and welcoming B&B. Twila was most gracious and very informative on the local surroundings. The location is serene and the horses grazing out front added to the pastoral setting. I highly recommend Sawin Logs as a B&B.

Roy and Twila have obviously spent a lot of time and effort making there home comfortable for everyone! The Classic Cove had a wonderful shower and perfect bed. Everything I needed was right at hand! The atmosphere of the Pilcher's lended itself to making me feel at home. It was easy to visit with others staying there and with the host family themselves. Twila is a fabulous cook is a fantastic artist. If you get the opportunity stop in and stay!

This is a fine b & b with nicely decorated rooms that are spotlessly clean. Roy and Twila know the true meaning of friendly, and the breakfast is elegant. Not to mention it's in one of the most beautiful parts of the U.S. We will go back!

This was just perfect for a one night get away to Devil's Tower area. We needed one night away, and the locale was perfect for early arrival at Devil's Tower, ahead of the throng that morning. The room had a great view, the conversation with Roy and Twila informative, and just generally so welcoming that we recommend this place to all who need room in this area. Early in terms of their business time, and perfect for early out to next backroad experience. They helped us plan the next forest service road trip, landscape detail included by a former logger. We loved the night!

For my first bed and breakfast experience, Sawin' Logs was a home away from home. Twila and Roy's kindness and hospitality were outstanding and the breakfast food...award winning! If you're in the Devils Tower area, give Sawin' Logs a try...you won't be disappointed.

This was my first experience with a Bed & Breakfast, so, I wasn't sure what to expect. I am partially disabled, with the need to use a walker and/or wheelchair for ambulation, which adds another set of circumstances to my stay....wherever I go. I wonder if all B & B's demonstrate the types of advantages over a hotel/motel that I encountered? Regardless of what other B & B's are like, I would highly recommend Sawin Logs to anyone. The service, cleanliness, comfort, accessibility, and overall value were a nice surprise! Roy and Twila are a very nice, Christian couple who appreciate and enjoy providing a "homey" stay, with wonderful meals and comfortable visiting. I especially enjoyed hearing stories and seeing the results of Roy's artistry in chainsaw carving. With the beautiful surrounding landscape to go along with the quiet and comfort, there was no way to go wrong when I decided to try this instead of a motel in a nearby town.
