Great Getaway!

Once again had a wonderful stay at the Inn. We have come so often to this lovely inn close to town, but with the feel of the country. Such beautiful views of the mountains.

My husband and I stayed here for a quiet weekend getaway. The Inn is very quaint and Tim and Dina were fantastic.

beautifully serene

This was an amazing landing place for us following days spent at Monticello and the Shenandoah Skyline Drive. There were multiple places for us to sit and enjoy the cool mornings and evenings with fantastic views and relaxing sounds of nature. The Innkeeper allowed for our privacy while making themselves readily available and informed. Breakfast was amazing every morning. Thank you so much for contributing to our memories.

Country escape

Sugar Hollow Inn is the perfect escape from traffic to a quiet mountain home, and it is convenient to travel from all points in Virginia.

Excellent weekend away location

The Inn at Sugar Hollow is an excellent location to go to for a weekend away, and we look forward to returning many more times in the future.

Another great stay

This is the sixth time we have stayed at the Inn; starting many years ago with Tim's parents as the innkeepers. Tim and Dina have kept all the good and have instituted many new ideas and experiences. We will be back!

Trip to The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm 2017

4.8 on August 14, 2017

We had a great stay at The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm. This was our third year staying there. Tim, the owner is very welcoming, gracious, an excellent cook, and very knowledgeable of the Charlottesville/Crozet area. We'll definitely be back next summer!

Beautiful Location

3.2 on August 09, 2017

Stayed at the Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm this past weekend. The setting was serene, private and beautiful. The home was really lovely and exceptionally clean which is important to me. Furnishings were nice and comfortable. No Internet service at all. I don't mind for a weekend - but something to be aware of - it might matter to you. The Inn is in the country, you are a 10 minute drive to the small town of Crozet, 20-25 outside of Charlottesville. Upkeep of a home in the country has got to be very difficult, but could have been a little better in that regard. Again, not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of. Food was delicious and plentiful. Chickens on site provide fresh eggs every day! I would recommend the inn - but it has to be the right fit.

Beautiful location, spacious and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast

4.2 on August 06, 2017

We stayed two nights in the Farmhouse - we had the full downstairs that included two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen area and tv room. (This was the garden room and the Dogwood suite). It was nice to have so much space for our family of 4. the kitchen was nice, but not really appropriate for cooking since it does not have many dishes or plates, silverware, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast up at the main house was delicious! We enjoyed our stay very much!

A tranquil oasis not far from Charlottesville and DC

I loved my stay at Sugar Hollow. I stayed in the butterfly room, which was lovely. In particular, I found the lovely porch swing to be the perfect anecdote to my stressful week in Washington. It is an incredibly peaceful setting - nothing but the occasional clucking of chickens, the wind in the trees and the stars at night. The only thing I wish I'd known was that there is no cell phone service so planning with friends staying nearby was difficult. The wifi was also very slow but in the end, this turned out to be an unexpected bonus because I had no choice but to sit with my coffee and enjoy the setting.
