B & B Ranch is a luxury country inn centered on 350 acres in the hills outside of Cooperstown, New York. B & B Ranch opened in 2012 as Central New York's premier equestrian center, Piedmontese beef producer, and as a center of excellence for agricultural tourism, farm-to-table food, sustainability, and friendship. With three course breakfasts, and five course dinners included with every luxury stay, B & B Ranch Guest House, Spa & Equestrian Center is close to heaven on Earth. Five unique guest suites, a spa and indoor swimming pool, and equestrian center welcome guests to a unique and special place. All set among the country lanes just minutes from Cooperstown, the Ranch serves Northern Italian cuisine in a private dining room. Outside there's a equestrian center with indoor and outdoor riding arenas where equestrians are invited to explore the 10+ miles of trails. Serving heart healthy Piedmontese beef raised right on the ranch, all your food in growing season is raised, grown, or made here on the ranch to include our premium pastas.

A great place to spend a weekend or more

Not far from Cooperstown and on a seldom-used back road, the setting and views are spectacular! The owners, Jim “Babe” & Barb Giombetti have created a lovely, inn farm and ranch, complete with a stocked farm pond, well landscaped lawns and meadows and perfectly maintained buildings, including a barn the size of a football field! There are riding trails- also available for biking, or cross-country skiing in winter. The ranch is trying to become fully self-sustaining for its food; so there are goats, pigs, a special breed of beef cattle, chickens and even a couple of mules and a donkey thrown in; and all are available to admire for adults and children. Three vegetable gardens produce organic produce for the table. And what a table! Mark, the chef when we visited in July, was prepared to adjust the menu to suit our requests (our group wanted to try as much of the locally raised protein as possible during our three day stay). He has a quiet and humble demeanor, but he produced some of the finest “Italian home” cooking I’ve eaten. All of the meals were accompanied by a full bar and carefully selected wines that were very well priced. In the morning Mark serves up a breakfast buffet offering both healthy and hearty options, and again almost everything is locally grown or made. The rooms are spacious and tastefully appointed. Indoor amenities include a handsome indoor pool and hot tub, plus many common rooms to relax in. Jim is obsessed with making this place perfect in every way. He’s well on the way to that goal. The trek from Boston is a bit too much to make their Diner’s Club workable for us, but a revisit is a must. You need to put it on your list too! Michelin would say it’s “worth a detour” on your journey.

Heaven on Earth!!!

Left 100 degree+ heat in Manhattan in the rear view mirror and were enjoying cocktails by the pool and strolling the gorgeous grounds before the sun went down! The indoor arena (and Ray's expertise) were perfect for a first-time horseback riding lesson, and the crew is still talking about the fantastic food. We'll go back for sure!

Gracious, comfortable, and delicious!

Who knew this little jewel existed less than 90 minutes from Albany!!! The inn is lovely at every turn, and the beef divine. Will most certainly be back soon!

The Best little Ranch in NY!

My husband and I were looking for somewhere nice to spend our 25th anniversary weekend. We had only 3 nights. Since we both wanted to see the baseball hall of fame- I checked this website for a nice B&B. I chose this one because it looked quiet and friendly. I can't begin to tell you what an icredible choice we made. The Inn is fabulous! Babe and Barb Giambetti are the most welcoming inn keepers we have met - and we have met a few. The tour of the farm was informative, the animals all wonderful and the view spectacular! All homegrown, homemade breakfast & dinner included in the room fees... indoor pool and hot tub, bar, I have never seen anything like this- the personal touches of family pictures, antiques and decor make you feel right at home. Horses are welcome as they have a wonderful stable, and riding lessons also! We wish the Giambetti's mcuh sucess - and you a wonderful experience!!!!

Really Impressive

I visited in June and thought the wind would be blowing through, but it really is an outstanding B&B, more like a little hotel with big, big rooms, on a country country farm. Staff is super friendly and gave us a tour of the entire place. Jake and Linda, Albany

Not like any B& B you have been to!!!!!!!!!

My only regret is that my stay was too short.. a mere 24 hrs, but every moment was truly enyoyable and very unique. The furnishings are magnificent, comfortable and classy. The views are breathtaking espcially from the screened in porches with rockers. The food was bountful, fresh, high end and scrumptious. I highly recommend this p;ace to anyone with good taste and a desire to relax and be pampered. The inkeepers really know how to treat their guests! I cannot wait to go back and shop at the food store that was yet operational when we stayed. Laila Kane of Moosic Lake, PA
