Spent an Enjoyable two nights in this B&B. The town of Chester has a great farm to table restaurant and shops with gracious kind people. I bought a quilt I love there.

Our family of 6 stayed for 5 days at the Chester House Inn and had a wonderful time. The rooms were comfortable and clean (and thankfully aur-conditioned during an unusually hot August). The breakfasts were splendid—home-cooked and every day was different. Our hosts were inviting and gave us lots of helpful recommendations about area walks and activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend CHI highly.

The bathroom of the room where I stayed could use an update, but the room itself was fine. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets were delightfully soft. The host, Bob, went out of his way to give us ideas about where to visit in the area. The breakfast was phenomenal and beautifully presented. I can't wait to go back!

Beautifully presented sumptuous breakfast is always the highlight. Friendly innkeepers. Love the rocking chairs on the front porch.

We loved our stay here. We stayed in the Queen Charlotte room, which has a gas fireplace and a giant jacuzzi tub. We were out and about a fair amount, but enjoyed relaxing in the room enough that we set aside most of a day to soak in the tub and sit by the fire. Breakfast was spectacular all three days of our stay. Proprietors were friendly and enthusiastic, and offered excellent advice about things to do and places of interest to go see. The restaurant they recommended was easily the best dinner we had the whole weekend. Leslie's Tavern, in case you are looking for an amazing evening in the area.

We were scheduled to check out a couple of things in New Hampshire but planned on making a sweep through central and southwestern Vermont for our return home. The Chester House Inn was the closest that we could get on short notice to make those logistics happen. Granted Vermont B&Bs always seem to cost a bit more than other areas of the country. But, if it's not skiing season or leaf peeping season, I think that what you get for what you're paying is a little out of synch. But truthfully I have nothing at all to really complain about at Chester House Inn. Just slightly underwhelmed.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Chester House during a Vermont bike trip we did ourselves. The owner could not have been nicer or more helpful. He suggested bike routes, and restaurants. The breakfast there was fantastic! Including lemon poppy waffles. The room was truly beautiful- filled with wonderful details. The town is charming. I look forward to going back.

My husband I stayed here for our anniversary. The entire stay was perfect. The room was very nice and comfortable, including gas fireplace and 2 person jetted tub in our suite. The breakfast was excellent, and better than many restaurant breakfasts that we have had in the past. We are already trying to find and excuse to come back and stay at this wonderful inn. The innkeepers were very helpful with restaurants and scenic drives, and other great pieces of info that truly made our anniversary lovely and memorable!!! I would highly recommend this Inn, and in fact have already told many people (and all my facebook friends) to visit for a romantic and quality stay. On a side note, the pics on the website do not do justice to the Inn, it is far more charming than the pictures show.
