This was a last minute quick getaway and we stayed for two nights and it was blissful! I would recommend to anyone! Sheryl the owner is genuinely sweet and caring! The B&B is amazing! The breakfast to die for! Everything we could have asked for and more. The nightly jacuzzi dip under the stars in the garden...it was just all around perfect. Thank you Sheryl!! Martin and Alaina

We did an overnight ski and stay at the 1795 Acorn Inn and it was a wonderful experience. We found our room to be clean, comfy and restful, and hitting the outdoor hot tub after a day on the slopes at nearby Bristol Mountain was just right for some tired knees, followed by a delicious breakfast next morning. Sheryl the Inn keeper really does have all the details down just right for making a perfect stay at her B&B. It just doesn't get any better than this. Thank you Sheryl!

It's a small B&B with large amenities ... the innkeeper, Sheryl, sure knows how to pay attention to detail for luxury. She doesn't miss a trick - even in the small room, there's a built-in night light, a shoe shine kit, a fire place and it goes on and on. Sheryl goes out of her way to make sure your needs are fulfilled from the moment you walk in to the hugs when you leave. Really lovely experience!

We loved our stay at 1795 Acorn Inn. We were vacationing with friends from New Zealand who had never stayed at a B & B before. Our host, Sheryl, was so friendly and made us feel right at home. Sheryl is a fabulous host, paying attention to every little detail and going above and beyond expectations to ensure we had a wonderful visit. The breakfast's were some of the I've had. This location is close enough to the wine trails and the state parks. Darlene Ruck & Tony Ansems

My husband & I just checked out today and we can't say enough about the beautiful inn and the phenomenal knowledgable innkeeper, Sheryl. She anticipated anything a guest could want. The inn itself is absolutely beautiful and relaxing in the garden with the hot tub after a day visiting the wineries and shopping was divine. When we left today, I couldn't help but be a little depressed knowing my breakfast tomorrow will not rival Sheryl's. My husband and I are frequent guests to B&B's and we highly recommend this inn.

Having traveled extensively to the region for the last four years as my kids have moved back and forth for college, we've stayed at many hotels and BnB's in the region. The Acorn Inn is by far the best - Sheryl is a remarkable host, gracious, warm and inviting - she goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are well-cared for, down to the smallest details. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, the overall home is absolutely charming and downright cozy, the ideal place to relax after a long day of wine tasting (or moving your kids in and out of HWS!). A must-stay for anyone in the area.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the 1795 Acorn Inn. We couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate our anniversary. The inn is beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. Sheryl took very good care of us. Our breakfasts were a treat for the eyes as well as the stomach! As an added bonus our fellow guests were charming and friendly. A totally wonderful experience from beginning to end.

Sheryl was very hospitable and provided a wonderful weekend for us. We normally have trouble sleeping in other beds, but this one was just right. The jacuzzi was very relaxing and her cooking was outstanding. I would recommend this B&B to others.

Born in Southern California. Raised in Hong Kong. Twenty year career in automotive advertising in LA. Helped launch Lexus in the US. Wanted to shake it up so I bought an Inn in a part of the country I never heard of before. Didn't know a soul. And so I became the Owner/Innkeeper at the 1795 Acorn Inn. It's been an adventure with countless stories to tell.

French Toast Creme Brulee
If it's Sunday it French Toast Creme Brulee day. Why is it our signature dish, cause guests ask for it frequently. It's all in the bread. Challa, Apricot Nut and Cinnamon Swirl from Great West Harvest Bread Company are perfect. Then again, it could be the creme brulee sauce which tastes like Werthers candies. Just the right amount of sweetness without any syrup. The perfect blend with a crispy outside and soft center. Served with fresh fruit and a dusting of powdered sugar. Of course we couldn't forget the sausages or sausage patties to balance that sweetness.
