Family friendly and convenient location

5 on March 16, 2017

My husband and I along with our two boys, ages 8 & 9, stayed in the Third Floor Suite for 3 nights in March. What a fantastic find! First of all the Social Goat is conveniently located to many attractions in Atlanta. My family felt very welcomed and we thoroughly enjoyed all the animals as well as having a safe place to wander around and explore the beautiful property. Our fabulous suite, despite being on the third floor, was very roomy and perfect for our family of four. It had two twin beds for the kids and a very comfortable queen bed for the parents. There was a nice sized private bathroom and a small living room area to watch TV, as well as several small work areas for a computer. The breakfast each morning was always different but delicious. The innkeepers, Kristy and Paul were very hospitable and helpful to all the travelers. We met several repeat customers and felt we hit the jackpot by finding this Bed & Breakfast.

One of the Best B&B's I've stayed in

My daughter surprised me this past weekend with a trip to Atlanta and a stay at the Social Goat --- The room and B&B were lovely, it was fun to see the animals and while out of the city a bit with Uber it was easy to get around. The breakfasts were amazing with fresh eggs from the chickens. Kristy even spent time talking to me about chickens and egg laying and type of chickens. She was also helpful with drawing maps and recommendations for neighborhood restaurants and activities I never would have thought of, including touring the cemetery. Can't wait to come back again.

An Oasis in City Jungle

I enjoyed the Blue Room on the second floor, the house is quiet and elegantly decorated with Country French furnishings, the goat farm made me feel at home in the middle of Atlanta, and the location is centrally located with Zoo Atlanta near by. Will definitely recommend the Social Goat to future travelers and thank you Kristy, for your delicious morning breakfasts and accommodating check-in procedure upon my arrival.

Exceeded Expectations!

I woke every morning to the view of goats playing and turkeys and hens feeding! I couldn't believe I was in downtown Atlanta. Everything was wonderful. The neighborhood was nice and quiet...a perfect get away from Chicago. Kristy was very helpful in directing me around town and answering questions. I would definitely return! Choose the Social Goat over a crowded, chain hotel when visiting Atlanta.

Lovely Stay!

We stayed at the Social Goat for two nights after an all day road trip from NJ for a wedding. Kristy could not have been kinder or more welcoming. Our 10 year old daughter loved the animals and breakfast was delicious. We can't wait to stay here again!

Wonderful experience!

We would definitely recommend The Social Goat to those looking for a special place to stay in Atlanta! Kristy and Paul were very friendly and the house with all of its antiques was gorgeous. We loved waking up to the kitties every morning and being greeted by the goats, chickens and turkeys every time we pulled in to the driveway. And the fresh eggs from their chickens were a special treat in the mornings.

A Little Slice of Heaven

My daughter and I spent the night at this wonderful B&B after attending a wedding nearby. It was just perfect! Kristy made us feel right at home when we arrived. The accommodations were just beautiful and the grounds had a nice, country feeling. We loved interacting with all the animals, especially the sweet cats who would wonder into our room. The breakfast the next morning was delicious! Farm-fresh eggs made into an omelette and filled with cheese, spinach, ham and onions along with a crepe topped with a fruit compote. We will definitely visit the Social Goat again!

Great Stay at the Social Goat

My husband & I recently stayed in the Master Suite at the Social Goat. It was a little slice of heaven in the city. We especially loved the goats, turkeys & chickens. They have a lovely outdoor area that includes a koi pond, fireplace and porch. The house was beautifully decorated and our room was immaculate. I would highly recommend a visit.

Excellent stay, great location

My wife, grown daughter and I stayed at the Social Goat for 2 nights this past week. My daughter (25) had not stayed at a B&B before so we wanted to give it a try for her. So we were looking for something that would accommodate 3 adults while we visited some sites in Atlanta. The Social Goat worked great for us. We rented the Cottage, which had two full-sized BR, full kitchen, etc. Its just around the corner from the main house. The house was very comfortable, quiet, and very clean. Kristy served tasty breakfasts both days that we enjoyed. The entire property was beautiful, and located just down the street from Grant Park, Zoo Atlanta, and the Cyclorama. We definitely recommend it.

Amazing escape!

Who knew this little gem was so close to Atlanta? I spend the most relaxing weekend of my life here reconnecting with my husband. The goats, chickens, turkeys and cats made me feel like I had run away to the country. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are spectacular, and I already want to go back!
