Class reunion

5 on October 14, 2016

This is the second time several of our class members have stayed at Captain Henderson House while attending our reunions. A class act from the monogram robe in your room to delicious snacks available around the beautiful home. Our class members enjoyed the room to visit. Rooms are very comfortable.

If you are within 50 miles of Arkadelphia, stay here

I had been staying in Hot Springs prior to my first visit to the HH; now I won't stay anywhere else. Staff is great, rooms are comfortable, breakfast is like mom used to make. They do a great job of putting out snacks in the evening, have coffee 24/7, free wifi, and a quiet neighborhood atmosphere. After fighting the traffic on Central Ave in Hot Springs, this is a dream destination.

Enjoyable stay!

Always enjoy staying at the Henderson House when on a business trip to Arkadelphia. Love the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are always comfortable and clean. Breakfast is fit for a queen!

Great place for a getaway!

We went for an overnight anniversary getaway. Just relaxed and weren't looking for a lot of activity. Nice coffee shop downtown area and we did dinner at Cracker Barrel so we were easy to please. Not any "fine dining" close by. The place itself was very nice and we will probably go back. We only live an hour away.

Wedding Weekend Getaway

4.8 on July 23, 2012

My family and I stayed at Captain Henderson House during the weekend of my wedding. It provided a wonderful atmosphere and a comfortable place for us to spend time together and rest during a crazy weekend. I also had a few bridal portraits taken in the gorgeous entry hall and piano room! Such a beautiful setting and I would gladly stay again and again.

Don't know what was most amazing!

Rooms are gorgeous and exquisitely detailed but food was superior, fresh quality ingredients, and presented in a first-class way. Could not wait for next surprise including surprise ingredient or different china at each meal.

Excellent value

On the Henderson State University campus and staffed by students. Huge, beautiful rooms; very clean; wonderful breakfast. Not much to do in Arkadelphia but only 30 minutes from Hot Springs and definitely worth the drive.
