The 10,000 square foot Mediterranean style home is a historic feature to the downtown area and was built in 1910. The house was designed by the noted 20th century architect Milton W. Scott, who designed many of the historic buildings in Waco including the Dr. Pepper Museum. The house has undergone a 2 year renovation and maintained the original hardwood floors, hand painted wall paper, a European stained glass window, Tiffany lamps and original light fixtures in several rooms, 2 original bathtubs, and a bowling alley in the basement. The estate features lavish detailed interiors, a half acre garden, several entertainment areas, a carriage house and much more. We are located close to many Waco attractions: Cameron Park Zoo, McLane Stadium, Texas Ranger Museum, shopping, and restaurants.

Quaint atmosphere, high ceilings, beautiful wood floors and paneling. Better than a hotel for sure!

My wife and I stayed at the Migel House, in the Louey room, for a little Anniversary getaway weekend. To summarize, the room was amazing, the house was beautiful and super clean, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the Migel house was conveniently close to the Magnolia Market, which was a main attraction for my wife. A little more on the expensive side but totally worth it for a weekend getaway.

The mansion itself is incredible with beautiful hardwood floors, genuine Tiffany light fixtures, ornate wall/ceiling treatments and handpainted wall paper - particularly considering that it is over 100 years old. Yet they did a great job of modernizing - each room has its own thermostat, the kitchen is modern and upgraded, etc. The room itself had the character of the mansion and yet all of the modern amenities like flat screen TV, plush queen size bed, etc

The guest house was very comfortable and was a wonderful option for two families (3 beds, 2 baths, full kitchen, etc.). We were even provided with sodas, waters, and all the coffee fixings upon arrival. Awesome touch! Thank you!

We had a girls weekend in Waco to visit the Silos and choose the Migel House for its location and price. We were blown away by how well maintained the house and grounds were! It was almost spooky! Super clean too. We stayed in the Carriage house as there were 3 of us, but they gave us access to the main house which I thought was great. There is even a bowling lane in the basement. We would definitely stay again.

When we bought the house in June 2012, we had no idea what we were going to do with the house. As the renovation of the house began, it was then we decided to open a Bed & Breakfast and create a beautiful house and gardens for romantic getaways and weddings. We are gardeners and love to create beautiful landscapes.
