This was a Mom getaway for two nights and I could not have been more pleased! I stayed in Lilycott Cottage. My accommodations were so neat, clean, tidy, and comfortable. It was a haven in the trees. Beautiful gardens, relaxing balcony and deck overlooking the river. Breakfast was luscious both mornings! I will definitely return! My new favorite place!

We stayed in the Texan Suite the weekend of my wedding. It was perfect! It was very quiet and peaceful. The linens and towels were very plush and comfortable, which is a plus. We will definitely want to come back in the future!

Loved everything except we were disappointed that the hot tub was broken and the pool was dirty. Would have liked to have been notified about it. Especially since we had seen in earlier reviews that the hot tub had been broken back at the beginning of the year.

My wife and I needed some quality time together and found this little place on the internet. It so exceeded our expectations since we showed up late evening, yet our names were posted on a welcome board, and keys and access were awaiting us. Upon entering our room we were so pleasantly surprised. It was cozy, comfortable, warm, with its own balcony overlooking the river. Now, we visited in January, outside of tourist season, but it was quiet, with no access but for the guests in the room. It was well-appointed with antiques, comfortable amenities and a small day bed near the windows for reading. The balcony had table and chairs for two, and was tucked away, providing private conversation and views. We were so comfortable in these romantic surroundings that we almost skipped breakfast, but are we ever so glad we did not. First, the hosts were wonderful, taking care of our every need (and blessing the food). Both mornings the breakfasts were carefully and lovingly homemade, with fresh ingredients. I don't know that you can find this quality in food, especially for breakfast, from any restaurant. The family seemed to revel in providing a freshness and quality that exceeds expectation. I cannot recommend The Lamb's Rest Inn highly enough for a romantic getaway, in a secluded quiet location, with excellent and cozy rooms. The owners are as nice and gracious as you could ever wish. The views and seclusion were wonderful, the food was gourmet quality, and the serenity of the place was sublime. Thank you for putting the "rest" in Lamb's Rest Inn.

The pictures do not do it justice. This bed and breakfast is beautiful! The staff is so friendly and helpful! Diane was there to greet us, get us settled, and answer any questions we had. We stayed in the Butter Tub room. It is just darling! We were there for a mother daughter weekend. The breakfasts were gourmet and delicious. A new surprise every morning! The view from the decks is lovely. It is so peaceful and serene. We will definitely be returning to visit the Lamb's Rest Inn.
