My wife and I had a great stay at Chantilly Lace. The owners mendacious hosts. Our room was very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The breakfasts were delicious. The weekend benefited also from the interesting group of people staying there. We could not think of anything we would have changed.
Thank you for your kind review. We enjoyed having you stay with us. I hope you come again.

my husband and I were really disappointed in this B&B. The grounds were not lovely, the rooms were meager, the hosts rude and surly, amenities atrocious ( think, Folgers coffee and only one packet) and the innkeeper burst into our room without even a knock at one point and stood in the doorway talking. It was like a flophouse! It looks as though it was at one time a very lovely B&B although, in an industrial area, You can hear the ball game announcer in the evening, but nothing has been done as far as upkeep. Planters full of dead weeds decor an afterthought. These people should not be in hospitality. I should have known when they were unprofessional when she told me on the phone that she didn't recommend making the reservation through bed and breakfast.com.
I'm sorry you were disappointed with the Bed and Breadfast. But, you were very late checking in. We had to call at 8:30 PM to see when you would check in. The reason I came into your room was, as I told you, I thought you had left the cabin as it was past check out time . It was time to check out and you had all windows (3) wide open. Rules are for others since you were late checkin and late checkout. and smoked in a non smoking environment . After you left, 30 minutes after check out, I understood why the windows were open, there were cigarette butts in the garbage in your room, which is absolutely against our rules, (posted on the door with a $200.00 charge when evidence of cigarette smoking in the room is found). I do apologize for the grounds as it was the end of winter and the grounds are not in top shape and the deer eat the flowers. Usually people who break all the rules leave unhappy. The room was rented for that night and we had to clean and fumigate for the next customers. We stared this B&B 13 years ago and have rave reviews.. The reason it was the only room availabe is all others were rented. We are full most weekends.

We stayed at Chantilly Lace last weekend and had a wonderful time. Sylvia and Porter are great hosts. We stayed in the Lavender cabin, which has two rooms and a bathroom, plus a refrigerator and microwave. Everything was perfect. The bed was comfortable, the towels were plush, the rooms were clean and beautiful (and quiet), and the breakfasts were fantastic. We made trips to Enchanted Rock, Fredericksburg, and Kerrville, and it was peaceful and relaxing to come back to Chantilly Lace for the evening. We had a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to come back again.
Thank you so much. It was our pleasure having you stay with us. I hope you will come again.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Chantilly Lace Country Inn! Porter and Sylvia are a wonderful couple who make you feel at home and cared for. Sylvia is an amazing chef and her breakfasts were excellent, filling and delicious!! We so enjoyed talking with both of them! And the handcrafted items by Sylvia in her little boutique will make wonderful gifts. Outside in there lovely garden, there were swarming hummingbirds, which were delightful to watch!! We even got to see two bucks in the field! They have chickens and goats and the most adorable two week old baby kids which I totally fell in love with!! All in all we had a most enjoyable, peaceful and relaxing time at Chantilly Lace and we will most certainly recommend and return!!!
Thank you very much. We really enjoyed having you stay with us. It is a real pleasure having nice people choose to stay with us.

We were headed to Blanco for lavenderfest and decided to stay at Chantily Lace Country Inn. What a great decision it was. Hosts Sylvia and Porter were available terrific. Sylvia is a great chef and breakfast, which was included was OUTSTANDING. Our room was spacious, and the bed was great. Johnson City was a great starting out point for our trips to Blanco, Luckenbach, Fredricksburg and of course the LBJ ranch and Texas wineries. Don't pass this one by...
Thank you. I am happy you enjoyed your stay. It was a real pleasure meeting you and spending time with you. I hope you will come again.
