The only Jefferson, Texas bed and breakfast located in downtown, the Carriage House offers attentive service, while bringing you the amenities of the finest hotels, plus we offer pet-friendly accommodations for those traveling with their four-legged friends! We are also handicapped accessible with a wide ramp into the main house. Whether you are coming for a family getaway or a romantic retreat, our seven cozy rooms and gourmet breakfast will make this a vacation worth remembering. The historically themed rooms, each with private baths, are dressed in restored antique furnishings with handmade quilts on the beds. We also started managing another property with Four more rooms, two stand alone cottages and two bedrooms inside the circa 1850’s house we call the “Sam Houston” house. So we now have eleven rooms available for booking. Enjoy your morning coffee while sitting in a rocking chair on the wrap-around front porch or watch the birds and butterflies play while relaxing in the garden courtyard. A multi-course gourmet breakfast is served each morning at 9 am in the main Dining Room. Some house specialties are Italian Frittatas, Caprese eggs, Croissant eggs Benedict, Smoked Gouda and Bacon Grits, or how about Bananas Fosters French Toast. We have conference rates as well. After breakfast, you will have all the energy needed to explore the Historic Riverfront District of Jefferson located just two blocks from shops and restaurants, so there is no need to drive

We spent one night here so that we could attend our son's Parent Weekend at a local college. The room, facilities, location and breakfast were perfect! The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing and did feel like home. Proximity (walking distance) to downtown historical Jefferson was also a plus. The breakfast was one of the best that I have had is some time. I highly recommend this B&B... we will definitely be back. Thanks!

This was our first time in Jefferson and at The Carriage House but it won't be are part to either. The Carriage House has a great location within easy walking distance to downtown and a quiet place to relax after a day of skiing or night of music. The staff and owners were incredible! They took care of every need and made it feel like our home as well. And the food was amazing!! As I said, my wife and I will be back to The Carriage House soon.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, the wrap around porch is wonderful for sitting and watching people go by. The breakfasts prepared by Jesse are beyond exceptional. Her staff is excellent.
