The B&B is housed in a lovely historic home in easy walking distance to the Granbury Square. Betsy was a warm and gracious host (husband Glenn was recuperating from surgery and we did not get to meet him)! We felt welcomed and cared for from the moment of our arrival. Our room was very well appointed and the bed and linens were very comfortable. Breakfasts each morning were stellar and service was excellent! The only reason I did not give the room an outstanding rating is because we happened to choose the only room (Doyle) that did not have an attached bathroom. The bath was straight across the hall and private to our room and was not really a problem except that we had to be aware of being fully clothed going between the room and bathroom. The grounds (gardens and decks) need some attention (I got the impression they were being worked on) but it is challenging with the heat and drought we have had in TX.

The breakfast was very normal, not hot, not creative nor well planned. The host was very pleasant and helpful to us.
