The greatest Bed & Breakfast ever! Celebrated our 50th Anniversary.

5 on December 14, 2016

Dave and Carol made our 50th Anniversary special on December 10, 2016. They know how to make you feel right at home. Great hospitality. Awesome breakfast. Great conversations at the breakfast table, fresh baked cookies daily. The house is very charming and has character. Feels like home. Every room in the house is amazing, it matches the style of the 1911 historical home, great touch of décor. The front and backyard has an amazing view. Great location, walking distance to the Square and close to the lake. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at the Granbury Gardens Bed and Breakfast. Tony and Maxine Vidal - Dallas, Texas

Relaxing Stay

Carol and Dave were very friendly and the B&B was warm and cozy. Very convenient to the Square shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this to friends and return there.

Great time!

5 on September 08, 2016

We stayed at Granbury Gardens over the Labor Day weekend, had a really good time. Not only were all the other couples friendly but our host Dave and Carol were great. They shared information on the houses history and were helpful with information on the surrounding area. Breakfast meals were great, be prepared to eat!

Wonderful Anniversary Get Away!

5 on August 21, 2016

I reserved a mid-week two night stay at the Granbury Gardens for our 3rd anniversary. While Granbury typically caters to visitors arriving for the weekend, David and Carol Gerke made our short trip worth it, despite the limited itinerary. We were the only guests staying with them at the time and had complete run of property. After a day out on the town, we enjoyed relaxing in the hot-tub, taking in the beautiful garden that is kept in the back. There were always fresh baked cookies available, as well as coffee, tea, and other snacks between meal times. After a great nights sleep, the breakfast was definitely worth getting up for! We loved the three course meal - so much in fact, we didn't need to worry about eating again until dinner! In conversing with the inn keepers, they shared their insights into the house and surrounding area. Chatting with them was also a pleasure, though they did not intrude to much into our time, as my wife and I wanted to enjoy our break from the fuss of day-to-day life. We left with our batteries charged, ready to take on whatever life throws at us! Reserve a night with Granbury Gardens B&B, and enjoy all they have to offer. Blessings!

A short walk to the Square

4.2 on August 01, 2016

We like to stay in B&Bs when we travel. This is our second stay at Granbury Gardens. The home is well maintained with a nice private patio in the back. The breakfast was outstanding! To top it off, it is a short walk to the historic square of Granbury with a wide selection of stores and restaurants to chose from. Granbury is a great destination for a weekend get away and Granbury Gardens is icing on the cake. Paula and Mark McDonald

30th Anniversary Getaway

5 on July 28, 2016

My wife and I stayed at the Granary Gardens B&B for our 30th Anniversary. We were so pleased with the quality of the room--the bed was amazing. Dave and Carol take great pains to make sure their guests are comfortable and feel welcome. Carol even helped me have wine and flowers already in the room upon our arrival so it would surprise my wife. Located only a short distance from the town square, we could not have asked for a better place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed Carol and Dave's beautiful home and history. The breakfasts were outstanding and quite honestly, will set a new standard for us by which we evaluate other B&Bs. Their home is quiet, comfortable and the outside gardens are painstakingly maintained and are beautiful. We were needing a place just like this for our getaway. Life can be hectic, but when we spent two nights here, we physically felt ourselves unwind. The time spent here was terrific--we now count Carol and Dave as friends and plan on keeping up with them.
