Had a great stay. Cabins were clean and well equipped. Especially enjoyed the fresh eggs from the on site chickens. The kids enjoyed the goats and chickens as well.

We just returned from a long Valentine's weekend stay at The Woods cabin. We absolutely loved our time there. It was so nice to be close enough to Fredericksburg to experience the town but far enough out to enjoy the true beauty and peacefulness of the Hill Country. We enjoyed mornings sitting on the back porch drinking coffee and listening to all the animals waking up and moving about. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. We will absolutely be back!

We came to Fredericksburg for Oktoberfest and the wineries, but staying at the Lookout cabin was the highlight of the trip. The views alone are well worth it. Very peaceful and relaxing, it was just what we needed. And the fresh eggs were great! Having breakfast on the porch overlooking the valley below was amazing. We will definitely be back.

We celebrated out 32nd anniversary in Lookout Cabin. The views, the privacy and tranquility were exactly what we were looking for! The cabins are extremely clean, and the hospitality from David and Laurie was attentive yet unobtrusive. Little touches like the breakfast items provided (fresh eggs!!) make this a "let's repeat" trip. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and de-stress.......this is it. Bring what you need with you and you don't even have to leave the cabin. It is a great get away!

Walnut Canyon Cabins was suggested to me by a co-worker and it was a hit! Really enjoyed the cabin. It was perfect for what I wanted/needed. Laurie and David were so friendly. Wished we could have visited more but we were busy little tourist. All the chickens, goats, mini horse and donkey etc... Made it even more enjoyable. WIll be back!!

Peaceful, beautiful, exceptional cabins to stay in. If you're looking for a get away this it the place to go. We wouldn't want to stay any where else in Fredericksburg. Also the cabins are so clean.

Stayed at the Hideaway this weekend and it was perfect! Loved sitting on the porch to have our coffee and seeing all the deer and bunnies and even a fox!! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway from our busy life in Dallas. Two thumbs up!!!

Thank you, David, for a wonderful place to get away and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The Tree House was so much more than I expected. The pictures on the website are beautiful but when you see it in person it doesn't compare. The smells, the extra little touches in the cabin made it so special! We stayed 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!!!!!
