My husband and I went here for our 25th wedding anniversary. We had an awesome time. The owners are very friendly and helpful people. It was so peaceful and quiet. We had an awesome view, with lots of wildlife. We even got to see bats, come out of an old tunnel. This place is only about 20 minutes from Fredericksburg, Texas.
Thanks so much, we are glad you enjoyed our seclusion, peace and quiet! We hope you can come back and relax sometime soon!

My husband and I love trips to the hill country and we love rest and relaxation. We have been to Walnut Canyons on 3 occasions and have never been upset. The views have been fantastic, the cabins fresh and clean and cozy. Love the deer and fox that we seen and fed. The welcome from this special couple was awesome. When we took our dog with us we even had homemade dog treats. What else could you ask for. Fantastic place, Fantastic owners and Fantastic time. Will continue to be a guest at Walnut Canyon Cabins. Looking forward to next time. Tina and Bobby Meinkowsky

My Husband & I enjoyed a fantastic Memorial Day weekend at Walnut Canyon Cabins. From our arrival to our departure, it was such a great time. The location was beautiful, the Milky Way cabin was awesome, the view from the top watching the sunset & sunrise was so peaceful and beautiful. We found a lovely Church very close by for Sunday and enjoyed the Alamo Springs Cafe and The Black Pig. Carl & Rhonda are such awesome hosts, had such a great time with them. Can't wait to go back! We just got home from a long weekend at Walnut Canyon Cabins! It was our second trip and I miss it terribly already! The owners have truly thought of everything you could need or want while at the cabins and the view and peacefulness of the area makes it perfect! They provide everything you need for a wonderful breakfast and we had enough for breakfast two days! There's a grill, stove and microwave so it's easy to cook or grill your own meals while there. We visited the Black Pig, at the hosts suggestion and we were so happy there was a place to get a wonderful hot meal nearby also! (We missed eating at the Alamo Springs Cafe again this trip but I hear that it's wonderful also. While we were there, both them and The Black Pig were only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I think so you might want to check!) I can't wait for out next trip to Fredericksburg and I wouldn't stay anywhere but the Walnut Canyon Cabins!
