Queen Anne for Ambience

5 on February 06, 2017

I love staying in older homes for the feel of going back many generations to the early 1900's; and Queen Anne certainly met this love. The breakfasts were delicious and graciously served.

Cozy and Perfect in Kaden's Cottage

5 on February 06, 2017

My husband and I celebrated my 50th birthday by getting away for a few days. I couldn't have asked for a more romantic, cozy and comfy stay than our luxurious, large room in Kaden's Cottage. It was superior. The bed was so COMFORTABLE. I loved it all. I highly recommend staying here!!!

Happy and Pleasant Stay at Aspen Suite

We loved the Aspen suite. It was clean and relaxing. It was a friendly environment. The breakfasts were really good. We are going to plan a weekend with Absolute Charm again. The Queen Anne was the perfect getaway for our first week as husband and wife. Thank you!

Tranquil Weekend at the Queen Anne

5 on December 20, 2016

Our stay at the Queen Anne Bed and Breakfast was splendid. We awoke to the aroma of eggs and bacon every morning. The dining area was set up with the most beautiful settings in a room that looks out on the front yard. Our suite was intimate and romantic. We slept in the softest of the soft sheets and duvet. The property is close enough to the shops on Main Street to enjoy, but far enough that you can have a peaceful oasis. I highly recommend staying here, and I plan to book here in the future.

The Aspen Suprise

The place is great -- full of charm and very cozy. The hot tub and porch are the fine aspects we appreciated the most. And, by the way...breakfast was amazing. Thanks!!

Amazing babymoon at Kaden's Cottage

We had a great weekend getaway at Kaden's Cottage. We had a private room at the back of the bed & breakfast that was very cozy! We loved the location! We scheduled a massage (which was wonderful) and the tranquility cottage was just outside our door! The breakfast was AMAZING! Overall a great stay! Highly recommend!

Donna Wittenburg is the owner and she has a wonderful bed and breakfast. The furniture is nice. The food she cooks is excellent and its within four blocks of major shopping. I do not think you could find a nicer place to stay in Fredricksburg, Texas The breakfast is served in a nice furnished dining area with plenty of coffee, orange juice, food and fruit. I eat a lot and I was full. Most people will not be able to eat all the food provided. I will always book this place when visiting Fredricksburg. The pictures match exactly what you get and you will like it. Patrick

About the innkeepers

I grew up in the Hill Country in a small town not far from Fredericksburg. I graduated from Texas A&M and have worked with the public in different capacities for many years. I love to meet people from all over the world and hear about their travels. It's fun!!! I have a teenage daughter, Laura Beth who shares my love of making new friends.

Signature Dish

Homemade granola
We serve a fresh fruit compote every morning with yogurt and homemade granola. Based upon the number of requests for the recipe (which is gladly shared), we feel our granola is a great beginning for a day of shopping, sightseeing, and wine tasting.
