My husband Terry and I stayed here for New Year. I had seen the hotel on a website and it looked amazing. I am a huge fan of Christmas and a Christmas tree in the roo was a definate reason for booking this hotel. I was in heaven from the minute we arrived with the fabulous Christmas decor throughout and the homely feel of this amazing hotel. We had a great welcome from Kelly and Deb and the breakfast was home cooked and a wonderful start to the day. Lisa Mottershead

Thank you for hosting our Anniversary stay in your well appointed Magnolia room! The king bed was so comfy! We awoke to the smell of breakfast cooking and it was delightful. The room is spacious and it was very clean. Your decor is adorable. cannot wait to stay again soon!

We were gifted a night at Rosen House for our anniversary. The house is beautiful and because it was the Christmas season, decorated beautifully for the holidays. Everything was spacious. My only complaints were that there was a strong floral scent smell in the room in which we stayed (bad for those of us sensitive to such things) and that I had trouble operating the tv, which was totally user error. Everything else was excellent!
So glad y'all enjoyed your stay. I know we had some fresh roses in your room but these days they are not as fragrant so I cannot imagine this was the "floral" scent. I use some natural cleaning products so I may look at their ingredients to see if this is the scent. Thanks for letting me know. Sorry about the remote it a universal remote and please do always ask if you have questions as we all know every TV system is different. Thank you so much for joining us! Would love to host y'all another time.

My husband and I stayed at the Rosen House Inn a few weeks ago for a weekend get a way. The house was was beautifully decorated with Christmas decor, which made it feel warm and cozy. The room that we stayed in was spacious and clean. Kelly was such a great host! She gave us the the historic background of the neighborhood and recommended places for us to go. The breakfast was amazing! We thought it would be really fun to get 3 other couples and all stay there together. There are some great restaurants and wine bars within walking distance. We will definitely go back. Sincerely, The George's from Prosper, TX

Enjoyed the weekend at Rosen House. The Host was very friendly and accommodating. My husband wanted eggs for breakfast and the chief asked how do you want them cooked. Beautiful Christmas décor to help put you in the mood of the season. I would definitely recommend a stay. Easy access to Ft. Worth, just call uber.

We stayed here for our 25th anniversary. Even though it was an in-town vacation for us we loved exploring this part of Fort Worth that we'd spent little time in prior to this celebration. The B&B is in a historic area, within walking distance to a newly renovated area, and within biking distance to a great deal more. Excellent experience all around.

We celebrated our 40th anniversary there. Kelly and Deb made us feel to welcomed. The breakfast was awesome! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. We will certainly return!

Kelly and Deb were great! The only "point off" is for a bathroom door that wouldn't close completely (but, after all, this is an old house subject to settling). I'm sure the problem has been fixed as Kelly is obviously very "handy" and full of boundless energy. The breakfast was top quality and the accommodations show attention to detail. We had a relaxing, "no-pressure" weekend and would definitely return and recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to visit the area.

I had a fantastic stay at The Rosen House Inn, which is conveniently located near downtown Ft. Worth. The ladies who run the Inn are delightful and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and pleasant.. Despite my food restrictions, they delivered full, delicious breakfasts that went far beyond the average B&B fare. I will definitely return.

It was my pleasure to stay at the Rosen House Inn while dropping my daughter off at TCU for her freshman year. Kelly and her Mom were very sweet and helped us in any way we asked. It was a small but cozy inn with a beautiful property and swimming pool. Plus the snacks and cookies were an added bonus for hungry travelers.

My boyfriend and I are from Dallas, but we had business in Fort Worth during the week and decided to make a trip out of it! I was so glad we booked a room at the Rosen House Inn. Even with the last-minute reservation, our hostess, Deb, was incredibly hospitable and the house was absolutely gorgeous. So many charming antiques and the beautiful architecture of the house made us feel as though we were living in another age. Our room, the Magnolia Room, was incredibly comfortable - and it came with a nice bottle of red wine which was very generous! The hallway has its own coffee bar and minibar fridge with snacks, treats, and sodas. The following morning, we had a delicious home-cooked breakfast with two other guests and then played with the host's adorable dogs in the backyard. I definitely give this bed and breakfast 5 stars and hope to go back soon! -Grace from Dallas

I've been to several bed and breakfasts so I may be a harsher critic than many. I have to say what I liked most about Rosen House is the glimpse into history. The furniture and relics really do tell a story. The bed was comfortable, great coffee! Our host was so kind. If the idea of "stepping back in time" delights you, give it a try!

The service was impeccable. The room was very romantic with excellent antiques. The interior was well designed with a variety of antiques & also had a slight western theme with a saddle in one room. I would recommend the B&B to anyone who would like a romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed in the Magnolia Room, which was decorated warmly for the holidays with a twinkling tree in the corner and wreaths in the windows. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows and an extra blanket for colder nights. In the bathroom were ample toiletries (locally sourced, handmade soap and organic shampoo/conditioner from Austin). The old-fashioned clawfoot tub was nice for a soak. We were surprised by a complimentary bottle of wine to enjoy. Other refreshments were available outside our room on the stair's landing in case we wanted a snack or a cup of coffee. Breakfast was served in the dining room with some other travelers with whom we had good conversation while eating a generously portioned meal. The innkeeper was able to accommodate my request for gluten-free options. All in all, we'd love to return and visit again--possibly even in the summer to take advantage of the backyard pool and beautiful gardens!

Rosen House Inn was simply delightful! Our room was extremely comfortable with King Bed that sent us into immediate slumber! When we arrived, there was a nice bottle of wine and 2 glasses on the coffee table as well as a full size lighted Christmas tree in our room...In the Hallway that led to 3 guest suites was a mini refrigerator, stocked with soda and waters and snacks to enjoy. The bathroom in our room was huge and fully equipped with luxury towels, a claw foot tub as well as a beautiful, separate shower....Every creature comfort had been thought of by the owner. This was a lovely place to awaken on Christmas morning...we highly recommend this beautiful B & B!

My wife and I stayed here right before our son came and we loved it! The pool was the best part for my wife, and I loved the food and the French press coffee! The owners are so kind and so willing to serve, and the house was decorated in early 1900s which made for a great experience. They had so many complimentary items available, and the cookies are so good! We will be back! The Knights

Deb and Kelly were amazing hostess. They were friendly, inviting, and always went above and beyond. Every breakfast was different from the last and tasted amazing. The rooms had the flair of your own home, while incorporating decorations from the earlier (easier) days of life. Cable and Internet are available, which is a plus, if you need to get something done while trying to relax. I highly recommend you using this B&B to stay, if you need some relaxation, visit TCU, or have to stay because you know someone in the nearby JPS hospital. My wife and I stayed for almost a full two weeks and everyday seemed like a new experience but with the same friendly faces.

Wonderful little find in downtown Fort Worth. Right off of Magnola St. and very close to everything downtown (Kimbell Art Musem, Fine Dining, Stockyards, Zoo, etc.) Extremely nice house built in early 1900s. The breakfast was top notch! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here, and it was definitely one to remember and a place we will visit again!

Hubby and I stayed here Friday and Saturday night as we were attending a wedding in downtown Fort Worth. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the two delightful ladies AND the most amazing chocolate chip cookies. We also met the puppy, Chloe and the neighborhood kitty, who I dubbed Orange Kitty because I forgot his name. The house is beautifully decorated and guests have full run of the downstairs rooms, including the one with recliners and the amazing old typewriter office room! Three guest rooms are located up the creaky stairs, along with a fridge with sodas and waters, a K-cup coffee machine and snacks, including popcorn. They thoughtfully included a microwave in this area, so it's an amazing perk. We had breakfast both days and my fave was the eggs Benedict. Hubby doesn't eat meat, so they dressed his with spinach and tomatoes. We ate every last bite and left two happy pandas! On Saturday evening, hubby and I visited the pool and just quietly paddled around, enjoying the unseasonably pleasant Texas weather. Another wonderful touch is the basket of pool towels and sunscreen! Such a relaxing place, so very close to the happenings of downtown and Sundance Square. It was about $8 for the two of us to take Uber from the YWCA to our quiet hideaway, which makes this an even greater bargain!

I had the opportunity to stay at this lovely B&B one weekend in June as in town for a girls' reunion weekend. The location of the property is terrific - in the eclectic, cool neighborhood with several really good eating places just a few blocks away. The rooms were spacious, decorated perfectly to go with the architecture and style of the whole house. The property has a wonderful pool/patio area which we took advantage of (they actually have many patio areas around the rose garden and front porch, where we also relaxed). But best of all were the breakfasts and the hosts themselves. Very friendly and helpful, eager to make sure our stay was excellent. The breakfasts with fresh coffee were outstanding (full breakfasts with bacon, stuffed french toasts and eggs benedict with fresh fruit and yogurts, muffins). The rooms were quiet at night, even though all of them are on the 2nd floor next to each other. And each room had its own private bath. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to the Ft. Worth area. it is worth it! Stayed June 2014, traveled with friends

This was our first B&B experience and we loved it! The Rosen House Inn has set the bar high for any of our other future B&B stays. The breakfast was delicious, the pool was an awesome addition, and the hostess could not have been sweeter. The rooms were spacious and the home had all kinds of interesting antiques to admire. Can't wait to head back to Texas and stay again! Go TCU!

Our son gives us gift certificates to B&B.com several times a year as gifts. We love getting away every once in a while just to wind down and relax. We just spent the weekend at the Rosen House Inn and had a fabulous time. We stayed in the Fairmont Suite. It was very lovely. I loved the claw tub and my husband enjoyed the large shower. The bathroom was HUGE. We enjoyed the pool. Kelly turned on the music for us. Lil Jimmy Buffet to swim by.... The grounds are well kept. Deb served us a delicious breakfast both mornings and was very accommodating when we need a bucket of ice in the early evening. I got up early both mornings and sat on the front porch and listened to the birds singing. We will definitely go back!

We enjoyed three nights at the Rosen House Inn in March. The home itself is lovely, and the decor is charming - spanning generations instead of sticking to one style or era. The rooms are spacious and bright and the bathrooms modern, yet keeping their historic charm. Everything we needed was provided for us, including chocolates! The breakfasts were served hot and fast each morning and ever day there was something different and delicious! We started our days happy! We will definitely be return visitors the next time we travel to Ft. Worth. So happy we found you! Thank you!

We spent a night out after visiting the Stockyards - hosts are very accommodating with explaining information about the stay, history and visiting. Property is beautiful and area is quiet. There are places in walking distance or you can roam about town like we did. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We were not used to the bed compared to home but that is normal when staying away. Private bathrooms make for great privacy!

Deb and Kelly are excellent hosts and we will book the Rosen House Inn again.

This Victorian house is conveniently located within a short driving distance of many of the interesting sections of Ft. Worth. We were greeted with a bottle of wine in our room, which we truly appreciated and enjoyed. The proprietress was very friendly and gracious, and the breakfasts were tasty and attractively presented. Our only "down" side was that we felt our room was a bit overdecorated, which could be a matter of personal preference. We wanted fewer decor items, creating more room for a cleaner feel and less "stuff" in our way.

The Rosen House Inn (Bed & Breakfast) in Ft. Worth was amazing. From the moment we drove up to the moment we left I felt like family and were even greeted with freshly made cookies upon walking in front door. We were even able to park in a gated area by the pool so I felt my car was safe over night. The house is full of antiques with a lot of unique stories. Every room has a different design but holding true to the antique decor. You will be amazed by the collection and be sure to look closely because you will surely miss something! Every room has a private bathroom and handmade soaps for your enjoyment. A cozy atmosphere with the most comfortable bed (mattresses bought locally and made in the USA) you will ever sleep on. I can't say enough about the breakfast, either. If you leave hungry it will NOT be because the host was stingy...it will be because YOU DIDNT EAT. Pressed coffee, orange juice, and water were served along side freshly made muffins, fruit parfait, and eggs benedict with hashbrowns. Everything was delicious and prepared to perfection. Kelly Bowden is an amazing host, full of energy, and never meets a stranger. She wants you to have an exceptional experience and that you will. I will definitely be back to stay!!

This was the first time my family and I have stayed in a B&B. We walked in and were blown away with the antique decor. Every room in the house has a unique story that you don't want to miss. You also better look closely, too, because you will miss a piece from history. Words cannot adequately express the awesomness of this home. The rooms were quaint, cozy, and again well decorated with antiques. The bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable and we found out all the mattresses are bought locally and made in the USA. Oh, and a highlight was that every room has it's OWN bathroom...an important detail for me!! For breakfast we had our choice of pressed coffee, orange juice, and water. We also had freshly made muffins, fruit parfait, and eggs benedict with hashbrowns. This was my first experience with eggs benedict and it was very delicious. I HIGHLY recommend this B&B. I could go on and on but mainly we felt like part of the family and right at home! I was deeply impacted by the hospitality and by the overall feel I gained by this experience.

I've stayed with Kelly and Deb three times now for what must be a total of more than two calendar weeks. I travel for business in the local area, but I find that I am even more productive when I have a more personal environment to call home for the week. I've had breakfast every day of the week, and I always happily leave my plate bare. Looking forward to two more trips this year.

Stayed for 2 nights on a business trip and I was very impressed. Good breakfast, location is within walking distance of some good restaurants, and its a 10 min drive to downtown.

Kelly and Mom and are the most gracious hosts and will make sure everything is perfect for your stay. We always stay here when business and pleasure takes us to Fort Worth, which is a lot! You will not be disappointed. - Sophie Priolo

I really enjoyed my extended stay at the Rosen House Inn :) The hosts seemed to know what I needed before I did, and their hospitality and generosity of spirit were wonderful. The home itself is simply gorgeous, with a great sense of history as well as all the creature comforts one expects. The breakfasts were to die for, with geneous serves of really good home cooking ( and I won't forget the plate of cookies in the lobby). What else can I say, except that I felt very safe walking to the many restaurants close by in the evening. The Rosen House Inn is THE place to stay in Fort Worth!

Kelly & Deb are wonderful hostesses. I felt right at home, and breakfast (yogurt with fruit and granola, stuffed french toast, and muffins to take with me for later in the day) was delicious. The bed in the Ft Worth room was comfortable, and I had everything I needed to get showered and ready for the day. So great! Thanks y'all! -karen

We had a wonderful, relaxing experience at Rosen House! Kelly and Mom made us feel right at home and part of the family. They were so accommodating of even the smallest of requests. The house is beautiful and clean, the room was charming, and the breakfasts were outstanding. We loved that it was so close to several local restaurants. This a very nice B&B near the hospital district in Fort Worth. You’ll be glad you stayed there!

Kelly and Mom Bowden went out of their way to make our 2nd anniversary a memorable one. Roses and wine along with a gracious anniversary card awaited us which was totally unexpected. The bed slept wonderful and breakfast was very tasty. The Rosen House is a wonderful haven for all. A repeat stay is certainly in order for us. Ronnie and Sue Harlow

Stayed in the fairmont suite with my husband- WOW! It was absolutely breath taking. The Inn keeper was very informative about places of interest in the area, house was spotless, and the organic food was delicious. Mrs. Bowden also promoted local products from the organic food market, such as the soaps. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

The warmly appointed and historic Rosen House, situated in the heart of the Fairmount Historic District, is a B&B dream come true for the Bowden family trio of Kelly, Jason & Mom Bowden. This property is the most grand of all homes in the approximate one square mile of turn of the century homes. Better yet...it's exactly befitting the elegant style, graciousness & culinary expertise of the owner-hosts. Six members of our family were among the first Rosen House guests for three nights, upon the occasion of our son's Hindi Indian wedding. Aside from the DFW wedding festivities, we've repeatedly been told by our family members that their stay at the Rosen House was another very special & heart-warming highlight of their visit to Fort Worth. Prior to their out-of-state arrivals, Kelly was so kind to check on our family members' flight times, food & drink preferences and ground transportation. Kelly then stocked their upstairs mini-fridge with special drinks & goodies, & even invited my husband and me to join them each day for their fan-freaking-tastic breakfasts. Oh my! Our guests enjoyed the royal VIP treatment. Lucky, lucky them. Heck...we should have moved in too! But then...off we'd go with happy tummies ... for each day of wedding event preparation! It very much pleased us to learn that ...wholly due to the friendly & gracious ambiance, vacation resort amenities (great pool!) & friendly company ... that our guests contentedly chose to relax at the Rosen B&B between the whirlwind 3-days of wedding activities ... rather than schlep to the usual FW tourist destinations. I'd never seen my dear brother, niece, spouses & teen kids so happy as upon their mornings & afternoons at the Rosen House B&B. As a guest home center for all the cool stuff in or around DFW or just as a soul-recharging getaway...the Rosen House (by Bowden) is a first-class choice accommodation. Book'm. You'll be glad you did.
