My husband and I used the Wildwood Inn for our wedding day and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! The European style venue was classy and beautiful and Kristen our coordinator was so friendly and extremely organized and helpful throughout our entire process! I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a smaller wedding! ( Max people is 120)
Thank you for the kinds words! We are thrilled that you had such a wonderful experience with our venue and staff. We wish you both the best in your marriage and hope you will come back to visit.

The Wildwood Inn was our perfect wedding venue. We had visited several wedding venues throughout the D/FW area and decided on this beautiful boutique hotel. We wanted an outdoor wedding; but wanted the option of moving it indoors if there was bad weather. The garden in the back of the hotel is full of trees with a stone walkway down to the pergola. After the wedding ceremony, we had our reception inside the gorgeous French-motif banquet room. The home-style buffet was prepared by the hotel chef and was exceptionally delicious. As an added bonus, we reserved a few rooms at the hotel for our family; which they all loved. We want to extend a sincere thanks to our venue coordinator, Bailey, and the Wildwood Inn staff. They made sure that our wedding was a memorable event. Our guests have told us that the venue and ceremony was one of the best ones that they had ever seen! Lisa and I look forward to visiting the venue again soon to celebrate our anniversary. Steve & Lisa M.
Thank you so much for the kind words about our venue and staff! We are so happy that you chose The Wildwood Inn and loved getting to be part of your special day! We wish you all the best in your marriage! Best Wishes- The Wildwood Inn Management

The Wildwood Inn staff are professional, timely, and dedicated to making your day magical! As someone in the hospitality industry I had high expectations for my wedding day. I can confidently say that the Wildwood Inn team went above and beyond for me! We were able to have the at home, backyard wedding that we always wanted without braking the bank or lowering our standards. The Wildwood Inn team was amazing from the first meeting all through the big day. I am so grateful for them and will never forget their important role in our wedding day!

This place is amazing! I had my wedding here and I couldn't have asked for a better place. The staff was amazing and did everything they could to make my day perfect. The food was delicious and the place was very clean! - Hannah C.

This is a lovely hotel. My deluxe room was beautifully appointed as was the rest of the hotel and grounds. The staff was courteous and helpful. However, even though I followed the directions perfectly, the thermostat in my room would not allow me to adjust the temperature. Consequently, I spent my night in a room far warmer than I sleep in comfortably. The toilet in my bath would not flush and I had to tinker with it myself. When I explained all of this to the clerk, she was apologetic, but that did not change the course of the night I had spent. I would try this hotel once more, in order to give them the benefit of the doubt.

My fiancée and I stayed at the Wildwood a few weekends ago. We're tight on money, but I wanted to splurge to give him a treat. We were very happy with the Inn. It was right in town, but felt secluded. The room was large and comfortable. The bed made us both want to stay in it all day! The bathroom was clean and the Jacuzzi tub was very nice! I was disappointed that after I paid I was sent an email saying we would not have access to the pool, dining room (restaurant), and library because of an event. We basically had access to our room. There was a notification as well about the cancellation policy, which is reasonably seven days in advance. Unfortunately I booked the room four days in advance so could not cancel and find somewhere else for us to stay. We spent the night in our room, but had planned on being able to make reservations and spend the night on the patio. Had I known we would not have access I would not have booked. Overall, room wise it was excellent!

I had my wedding and stayed here the night before and after along with my family and friends. I could not have been more pleased. Everything was 5 star. The service, food, and staff. I would love to stay in any of the rooms. The tub in room 5 was lovely and just the right size for 2. The charm and luxury gives you the feeling of royalty.I can't wait to plan my next stay.

I got married here and I could not have asked for more! The place was so beautiful but also able to be decorated to make special for your day! I loved the staff and they were so helpful! I also stayed there the night before and it was so nice and clean!

My coordinator made my wedding experience incredibly smooth. The room we rented (the bridal suite) was the perfect size for my ladies and I to get ready in the morning and the venue itself was just fantastic. Not to mention the fact that this place was one of the best in terms of price! (cake INCLUDED, what??!?!?) I had a wonderful time, and the pictures came out fantastic~Such a picturesque location!

I recently stayed at your hotel and was very pleased. I attended a wedding close by and the groom had booked the rooms for us all to stay in. I stayed in the Eggplant room and was very pleased. Very quiet. A nice restful night. Breakfast was very good and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay there a memorable one. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a quiet getaway close to everything.

Stayed in Room 5 recently and holy cow! The tub was MASSIVE, the bed was fantastic and the location was convenient! My only complaint was the early check-out during an event :( Otherwise it was great!

My husband and I were at the Wildwood Inn for a wedding and had decided to stay the night as well so that we wouldn't have to drive home the same night (over an hour). Everything was exceptional but the bed made it difficult to sleep. It was one of the hardest beds we have ever slept in but other wise we were very happy with everything else. The staff is amazing and went out of their way to make this a pleasant stay for us!!

We were looking for an intimate wedding venue and found it at Wildwood Inn. It is a beautiful bed and breakfast with outstanding food and an exceptional staff. They were courteous and very kind and attended to all of our guests needs. We felt welcomed and very tended to.

Me and my girlfriend came here for our "5 year anniversary" to celebrate 5 years of being together. I planned on proposing there and not only did they help me set up the pool area they actually added to it and did a great job! The rooms and service was great as well! The breakfast was alright, we along with maybe one or two others were the only ones there so there was no hot foods. I will definitely return!

My husband and I have a very large family and are not able to get away by ourselves very often. We were very excited to stay at the Wildwood Inn during our weekend getaway to the Dallas area. When we arrived we were somewhat disappointed by our room. It was not nearly as luxurious as anticipated, nor as large. The carpet was so desperately in need of stretching that you could have tripped over the rolls. It was not appropriate weather to go swimming, however we did check out the pool in case we decided to come back in the future. The only acccess to the pool is out the front door, through the parking lot and around the side of the building - OR right through the dining area. Imagine enjoying a romantic meal with your loved one and having people walk dripping wet past your table. I realize that we are coming out of winter, but the weather was nice and we had anticipated a walk on the grounds. However, it appeared that landscaping upkeep was not a priority at this time of year, as the property was not well manicured and there were piles of branches and brush left around. My husband had ordered chocolate covered strawberries to surprise me, but the lady on duty that night brought them up somewhat late because she forgot. I was so grateful that we came on a weekend. The breakfast was nice. Apparently during the week it is just a continental breakfast. This doesn't seem fitting for a bed and BREAKFAST. Overall Wildwood Inn was pleasant and the staff were pleasant, but it was not as exceptional as I expected. We will not likely return.

My husband and I stayed here for one night in February. This beautiful inn is nestled just minutes away from Denton Square. Our room was clean, spacious and had a beautiful décor. The grounds of the inn are very nice, with a pool and outside lounging area which we didn't use because of the time of year. I was disappointed that we went down for our continental breakfast at 9:30 and it was already closed. We couldn't even get a cup of coffee. That being said we went to the Old West Café for breakfast and that is highly recommended. All in all it was a fine stay.

2/16/14--- My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at The Wildwood Inn, it was first at B&B and I must say it was really nice. The room was very clean and nice, Staff was friendly. My only problem was breakfast over to early at 9:00am, it would be nice if you could extend time to 10:00am.. Other than that our stay was great! Yes we will be coming back. Thank you for everything. Ms. J.

My wife and I came here to celebrate Valentines Day, and even though we had some sick kiddos, and gracious baby sitters to watch them, the time we got to spend alone were amazing. The atmosphere was perfect, we loved everything about Room 12. The dining was excellent. Great menu for Valentines Day, and the service was top notch. This was our first stay, and most definitely, not our last.

This place was awesome. A very nice well kept bed and breakfast. I've been to many around this area and wildwood inn is the best. Service was excellent, beer was cheap and chocolate strawberries so good. We stayed in room 10 and the bathroom was fantastic and fireplace was warm on a cold Texas morning. Great breakfast as well. J will be returning.

Conveniently located, yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle of shopping centers and busy streets. Quiet and comfortable, the room was tastefully decorated and the service was polite and prompt. The breakfast was exceptional (best scones I've ever had).

We really loved our stay here. Very clean. We stayed in room #9, it was a perfect balance of modern and romantic. Large and spacious room, large bathroom, loved the jet spray tub. We actually just relaxed a lot in our room and watched movies. Close enough to Dallas to spend an easy afternoon there. Enjoyed the food from the restaurant, gourmet and flavorful. The staff was young but very helpful, even brought our food to our room since we were too late to eat at the restaurant. The chocolate covered strawberries are amazing! This is one our favorite bed and breakfasts that we have stayed at.

We travel the entire country and stay in an average of 10 B&B a year. So when I tell you it was all excellent , I know what I' m talking about. BUT the dining. These reason why most folks select a B&B is for the personal service at special breakfasts. The breakfast that was served was a basic small breakfast buffet... Like you get a a small hotel chain. Very few choices...and I don'tike to make my own breakfast on vacation, nor serve myself. Also, most B&B have a little happy hour and/or something in your room. They had neither. They had afew items in a basket but charged $4.00 for a water., and so on. Overall I would say this was more of high end motel, not a B&B. other couple with us does all B&B and they too agreed . Other than that... A nice stay.

This was a perfect find in the Denton area! A large tub, cozy fireplace and luxurious amenities were a must have and this little place was a shining example. The grounds are perfect for event photos and hosting a large group, I would recommend this place to anyone hosting a wedding party or just using the space for photos.

A wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary and get away for a night. It was better than expected. The room and service was excellant, and diner was 4 star. The continental breakfast was good, but would prefer a "real breakfast". Worth doing again and recommending.

If you are looking for an extremely serene stay, don't mind going out to get food and drinks, and aren't looking for a comfy bed this place is for you. The bed sagged so bad in the middle we slept awful. The patio and fireplace, room 13, were awesome and made the whole better. I suggest you bring your own water and food as there is nothing. But leave your wine at home it's not allowed. The pool is gorgeous and it is peaceful. However we most likely won't return.

I discovered this little gym when I found a groupon for it. I purchased the "deluxe" room, enticed by th "jacuzzi tub" and was a bit disappointed with the room; it was two queens instead of a king, and the tub definitely didn't have room for two, though I am 6'4", and my girlfriend is 6'... From what I understand there is only one room with two beds, I guess that's what I get for booking last minute..... Again, my fault, not really the staffs, but the two of us weren't very comfortable on a queen. The staff was truly hospitable and genuinely cared for the guests. We arrived late at night but were taken care of right away. I highly suggest the champagne and strawberries, adds a very nice touch. The following morning we "overslept" and missed breakfast. The chef was walking out and saw the looks of disappointment on our face, again, our fault... He immediately offered to cook us both a plate. 15 minutes later he returned with two HUGE delicately arranged plates of eggs, bacon, oatmeal and I forget what else.... It was honestly the best breakfast I have had in years. I would definitely stay here again, and break out the extra coin for the "superior" room, as I'm sure it's worth it.

Wow! What a find tucked away in Denton, TX. We were visiting our son at college and decided to try this B&B. We will now stay here whenever we are in town. It is quaint with big rooms and beautiful grounds. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I stayed at one of the beautiful French cottage style rooms for our first anniversary!! From the moment we walked in I felt comfortable and relaxed loved sitting in a warm bath right next to the fire. The king bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. We will be staying again soon. Ashley barclay

My girlfriend and I decided to visit Dallas during Thanksgivings, and this hotel is actually in Denton. However, I noticed that the interior of the hotel is delicate and romantic, so I booked this hotel. And it really did not turn me down. Super clean room, friendly services, and a massage tub even in a regular room. With a groupon at only about 65 dollars, I would say this hotel is fabulous.

We stumbled across the Wildwood online when we were looking for wedding venues - we decided to have a look and went out to see the Inn and we booked our wedding with them that day. We also booked all 14 rooms for the night of the wedding. From start to finish, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Bailey and Myca were always there to answer our questions and to make sure every aspect of the wedding went off without a hitch - I can't say enough nice things about them. Everyone was friendly, professional and accommodating. The ceremony and reception were dreamlike (the property inside and out is beautiful), the food was amazing, and we didn't have to worry about anything - we were able to focus on just enjoying our day. The rooms are gorgeous and they all have their own theme, and we woke up to a lovely breakfast the next morning that we were able to share with our friends and family. All in all, an absolutely wonderful experience and I can't recommend these folks enough.
5 on November 10, 2013
We knew when we walked into the Wildwood's open house in 2012 that this would be our venue. It felt like home. The staff is very courteous and they respond quickly to any questions you have (even if your wedding is over a year away). Myca was our coordinator and I couldn't have asked for a better go-to girl. She is very organized and suggests great ideas for layouts with seating and photobooths. We chose one of the buffet menu options and absolutely LOVED the Caprese Skewers... but all the food was excellent and our guests really enjoyed the food as well. I love that they bundle their services with Candy Haven Bakery in Denton as well, and when our guest list went over our quoted amount, they updated Candy Haven themselves... it was greatly appreciated the week before the wedding. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the Inn is very quiet. We would definitely recommend The Wildwood Inn to anyone looking for a beautiful yet affordable venue for their wedding.

We spent 3 nights at this location for business and pleasure. It was a wonderful place to stay. It was very comfortable and homey feeling. You did 't feel as if you were in a hotel. We had the Sunday breakfast and it was lovely. You just have to be aware of the time for this breakfast as it is a short period) The rest of the stay was a continental breakfast. We were not there to dine in the evening. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

My daughter held her wedding at the Inn. We booked the full 14 rooms as we had a lot of out of town guests. The staff could not have been more helpful; the food was excellent and there was plenty of it. The rooms were spectacular. Everyone commented on what a nice place to stay. A friend suggested that the inn would be an awesome place for girls night out. I would highly recommend the Wildwood for any function you may have. I will be going back for dinner and to stay. Thank you for making my daughters special day so relaxing.

Thank You so much!!!

I had my wedding and reception at the Wildwood as well as had my bridal party and immediate family stay the night before. The Wildwood is very beautiful and the staff is amazing. The B&B was spotless and very beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful as we were not from this area. We enjoyed our stay although we were a little disappointed that they did not offer a full or buffet type breakfast (as this is a B&B) during the weekdays. If we are in the area again we will stay here again.

My wife and I have stayed at the WIldwood Inn 3 times now and have loved it each and every time. We live close, but find it to be the best value and ameneties of any hotel in the DFW area. It serves as a nice gtaway from work and the kids and the rush of evryday life. Can't beat it!

Among the most pleasant stays I've ever experienced. The staff and even clientelle are just different than I encounter in typical hotel chains. I especially loved being able to have my breakfast on the outdoor patio, which is beautiful, secluded, quiet and relaxing - just what I needed before heading out to a hectic work day.

I chose to stay at this B&B for my wife's birthday because Denton, TX is a nice location in that it is only 25 minutes from Grapevine, TX and 45 minutes from Winstar World Casino. I was very pleased with this B&B because the room was very charming and the outside pool area was beautiful. The service was excellent and the continental breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade raspberry parfait! I recommend this B&B if your wanting a pleasant, relaxing place to stay in the north DFW area.

Once the wedding date was set to be in Denton, and following a visit to the grounds of The Wildwood Inn, there was not doubt in our minds that we wanted to incorporate The Inn in our plans. We planned far in advance to booked 13 out of 14 rooms for our wedding celebrating weekend. Bride and Groom parents, grandmother of groom, all 12, bridesmaids and bride , the Pastor of ceremony and his wife, relatives and friends, all stay Friday and Saturday night, we had the place to ourselves, and it felt like home, better yet , we all had the ammenities, service, and the amazing comfort and relief of stress. The WILDWOOD INN, service and value was BEYOND our expectactions. From the beginning when we started working with the event coordinator , formulating details, to the continuing ways of communicating, calls and emails, to the day of checking-in , greeted by gracious host, friendly staff which were all eager to provide us with excellent level of service, to the most elegant-delicious Rehearsal dinner ,to the time of checking-out ... IT WAS AMAZING !!!! Our wedding celebration was superb because The Wildwood Inn was a key factor in making that happen !!!! We are definetely in awe of your service, your product, your integrity , and only wish and pray that you may continue to excel at what you do best and that is to make your guest feel at home, and LOVED !!!!

Wildwood Inn in Denton provided the ideal venue for our wedding! They were attentive to our wants and needs, and they were thorough and well-organized with the details. We were able to keep within our budget at the same time as getting everything we wanted for our wedding! They were also flexible; it was raining the morning of our wedding day, and I wanted to wait and see if we could still pull off the outside ceremony (i.e., see if the rain would go away and the sun would come out). They were willing to wait it out and re-adjust their set-up. In the end, the rain DID go away, the sun DID come out, and we were able to have our outdoor wedding like we wanted....all the while, remaining on our time schedule. In addition, they took care of setting up all the specific requests we had (e.g., candy bar, table settings, favors, etc.), so I didn't need to worry about those details the morning of the wedding. They provided the tables, chairs, food, catering, hostess, and even the glass jars and some decorations we used for our table settings. Wildwood Inn gave us everything we could have asked for on our wedding day!

I have been overnighting at The Wildwood Inn for some years now and have felt comfortable, safe and cherished. The innkeepers have chosen a superlative staff, folks who take special interest in creating a pleasant experience for those lucky enough to stay there, a venue that affords comfort and beauty as well as fun experiences, such as the wine pairings, and splendid meals. And the continental breakfast is well conceived as well. This inn would be considered A+ in any environment. Many kudos to the Walters.

Excellent place! My wife was very happy to see the surprise place I took her to. Did some searching online for a spot to take her for a short romantic getaway from Dallas. Our kids were staying a few days with out-of-town friends. Found Wildwood, and viewed the rooms on the website. Room was excellent, and the staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. She was completely pleased so mission accomplished! We're already making plans to come back.

This was the most relaxing experience my husband and I have ever had in a bed and breakfast. The room was great, the bathtub was huge, and the pool was amazing!!! The only reason I marked dining lower is because we never made it to breakfast. That's how relaxed we were! And since we were there during the week, the restaurant was not open for dinner. I will definitely be back!

The staff at The Wildwood Inn were incredible. Courtney was our wedding coordinator and handled every detail before we could even think of it. The day went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend The Wildwood Inn in Denton to any anxious bride. They really take all of the worry out of planning and just let you enjoy your day. We can't wait to go back to visit for our one year anniversary.

My husband and I got married at the Wildwood Inn in December of 2012. The Wildwood Inn is a gorgeous, intimate venue for a small gathering. All of our family were able to stay in the 14 guest rooms the night before the wedding, which made it a much more personal experience. I was a very organized bride and expected more from my wedding coordinator on the day of our wedding, but otherwise was very satisfied with The Wildwood Inn and would do it all over again!

We have stayed in quite a few rooms and each is unique but really feels like an extra touch of luxury. Most have both a shower and tub which we love. The rooms and baths are roomy and romantic. Our favorite is #13 which has a separate sitting area and outdoor balcony. I get up early and enjoy checking the weather and some quiet reading time. And we love the fireplaces!

My maid of honor and I stayed here the night before my wedding. My mom and stepdad also stayed at the Inn that night. It truly was perfect and everything I could have asked for on the night before my big day. My family had a wonderful experience. My fiance and his best man stayed in the suite next to ours and they loved it as well. Our suite was very luxurious, clean, warm, and welcoming. We all loved the robes!! The patio was amazing as well, and the 4 of us spent quality time sharing laughter and stories there before heading to bed that night. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and accommodating. Our wedding coordinator, Bailey, was amazing and helped make our day extra special and worry-free. The food is Amazing! The chef is very good, and our guests as well as us were very pleased with the food. We look forward to returning here hopefully for our 1 year anniversary and anniversaries to come to relax and enjoy ourselves. Staying here was very relaxing and it's just a beautiful Inn all around. We also loved the nature feel to the area with the big trees all around the Inn. It was great for pictures!

Stayed for birthday and anniversary weekend with my companion and was surprised, delighted, and relaxed by the beautiful red toile room with jetted tub and windowseat. The dinner, complimentary hot breakfast, and Sunday brunch were all delicious and were an incredible deal, for the quality and amount of food served. The waitstaff were fun and engaging. The biggest drawback was the less than mediocre live jazz playing during our dinner--it was apparently a new thing that was being introduced on the very night of our long-awaited respite--oh well. Despite the chance of more bad jazz, we can't wait to go back because the inn and its grounds and accommodations are so wonderful.

Wildwood Inn allowed me the opportunity to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony and an indoor/outdoor reception. The staff was friendly and there for me at all times. I could not have picked a better placed to have my wedding. We also stated the night of our wedding in one of the larger rooms--beautiful and romantic!
Thank you so much for such great praise! We are so happy that we could be a part of your special day! We wish you a lifetime of happiness and love! We hope to see you back to celebrate your anniversary!!

This was our third visit to the Wildwood Inn and our third different room. The inn is beautiful, the backyard is very peaceful, and the staff is wonderful. The rooms are very nice and the bathroom in the suite we had was amazing. This is a great place to go for a quick romantic getaway or if you want to have some freshly prepared fine-dining in a manor-type experience. The only downside is the cost; the rooms can get pricey if you want the nicest ones and it's high for the meal BUT you get what you pay for. This blows other bed and breakfasts I've stayed at out of the water. They also have nice romance packages and things you can add to your stay. Try the chocolate dipped strawberries for sure; a full tray will be waiting when you arrive in your room. We will definitely continue to visit and you should too.
Thank you so much for a positive review! We love to see our guest out and about enjoying our grounds! We always welcome your comments so that we can better our service and improve our hotel. We hope that you continue to stay with us and enjoy our peaceful romantic back yard!!

The Wildwood Inn and all of it's wonderful staff members, helped us create such a special and perfect day. My husband and I wanted a stress free wedding and it was as stress free as you could get. They helped with everything from finding a florist, a hairdresser, decorations and even a minister. My husband and I are vegan and they were very accommodating and provided delicious vegan food. All of the guest's raved about the food and many didn't realize it was vegan. :) They went above and beyond. We now look back at our wedding day with fond, stress free memories. It was the perfect wedding venue for us!
We absolutely enjoyed having your wedding at our inn! Your vegan meal was amazing - and fun to create and prepare! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share in your special memories!! We hope the rest of your life is stress free and happy!! Congrats!

We were so fortunate to have our wedding at the Wildwood Inn in Denton, TX in December 2012. We rented the entire inn (all 14 rooms) the night before our event for our families to stay at, and we had our wedding the following day with our family and our friends. It was exactly the kind of intimate, "family-style" gathering that we wanted for our wedding, but with the indulgent comfort and service that you associate with a luxury bed-and-breakfast. The staff was amazing! They were so helpful and always eager to make sure that our every need was met. And the wedding coordinators were beyond helpful from the first day that we visited the venue through the last minute of our event. The outdoor pagoda was lovely, the food was delicious, and the hotel was spectacular. ALL of our guests raved about how different and intimate our wedding was, our families still talk about what an amazing time they had staying in the hotel rooms and eating at the restaurant, and we were so pleased with every detail that the staff put together for us on our big day. Furthermore, the value for your money is unmatched. I seriously cannot overstate how special this venue and its staff are!
Thank you so much for allowing us to share in your special day! Your wedding was so absolutely beautiful! One we will never forget! We wish you and John a lifetime of happiness and love! Can't wait to see you come back on your anniversary!

I moved to Denton in 2008 and married in 2012. I decided to surprise my husband on our 1 year anniversary with a night at The Wildwood Inn. He knew about the reservations for dinner but not the room. He is the biggest romantic and I am not. I planned this night nearly a month before. I had ordered chocolate strawberries and a bottle of wine for the room. Dinner was fabulous (talk about a party in my mouth)! The staff was wonderful and kept the the room a secret. As dinner came to an end our waiter mentioned that we should look at one of the rooms in case we would like to stay sometime in the future. We were really surprised and the room! We had such a wonderful night. We stayed in room 13 and someday our master bedroom will look like that! The staff was wonderful. A must if you plan to stay in Denton.

I surprised my wife for Valentine's Day, and were fortunate enough to stay in Room 5. Wow! The decor was fabulous; my wife could not have designed it better herself! We loved the over-sized tub in the bathroom, and the welcoming chocolate strawberries were a nice touch. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel, and the service was impeccable. Our menu was incredible, and we couldn't believe that we have missed out on a well-kept secret jewel in Denton for the past five years that we've lived here! We will absolutely be back, and can't wait to enjoy that bathtub again!

We've stayed at the Wildwood Inn many times. Very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is always excellent, great specialty items like strawberry scones and yummy French toast and more. The staff is always friendly and ready to serve their guests' needs.Definitely the place to stay when we're in Denton.

More a boutique hotel than a B&B, the Wildwood Inn is a wonderful, lovely, friendly place to stay in a beautiful setting, for a few days or long term. We came up at Christmas to visit family and stayed there based on a family member's recommendation. The whole place was decorated in high Christmas style with a huge tree in the foyer, garlands on the stairway, and wreaths on the doors to the rooms. Our room was gorgeous and nicely appointed with a lovely bedcover, ceiling fan, and nightstands for each of us. The tiled bath has a deep soaking tub (with rainhead shower) , fixtures in rubbed bronze, and real cabinets -- with drawers -- to store toiletries (which you just don't see in hotels anymore), and bathrobes! It was every bit equal to our master bath at home. It would be very easy to spend a few weeks here exploring the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and be comfortable doing it. Our room was spacious with a closet, hanging space and a chest of drawers with TV on top, a desk, and plenty of room to move around. The bed was amazingly comfortable! Everything was clean and tidy. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. With bad weather looming, they were willing to be flexible if we needed to go a bit early, and they took care of everything we needed without delay. We had dinner in the restaurant, and the meal we had rivaled any fine dining experience we have had in many years. The chef made us a meal to remember. My husband, an executive chef who has traveled internationally to train chefs for Hilton, deemed the meal "the best I've had in ages" and he is very picky, believe me. Wildwood Inn is our preferred place to stay while in the Dallas area. Thanks Wildwood Inn! We hope to see you again soon!

Nice place but not like most B&B's we've stayed in before. More like a secluded hotel. Nothing much for breakfast during the week and nothing done to make you feel special. Had to ask for tea when we came in about 8 p.m. Clerk had to hunt for it then I had to go to a kitchenette to heat water in microwave...simple pleasure that is usually readily available at most B&B's. Nothing bad, just nothing over the top.

After my wife and I concluded a very long week of wedding planning we really wanted a place to stay and relax. We found just the place. We stayed in room #13, LUCKY 13, we should say! They had everything we asked for and then some. The staff was very courteous and polite, along with prompt delivery to the room, even if it was very late and we asked for 2 Dr. Peppers! They brought us ICE in 2 wine glasses! Awesome service!!! The 2 person hot tub was the kicker, and a well earned relaxation after the long day. Perfect honeymoon or anniversary spot! Quiet and Quaint! Beautiful! 10 out of 10. Perfect.

Weecently stayed at the Wildwood In in Denton for Parents weekend at UNT. I would highly recommend the lodging here. Liked everything about our stay with the exception of being close to room where there was a wedding reception going on music was a little too loud. Other than that very happy with our stay. I went to the Wildwood Inn for my wedding night. We got in late and left early so we didn't get a chance to take advantage of many of the amenities but it would have been nice to do so. Everything was clean and the room was way larger than what I expected. We caught the tail end of breakfast but the coffee and hot strudel were very good on a rainy, Sunday morning.

ALL of the rooms we've stayed in are lovely. The grounds have an eleegant & peaceful atmosphere throughout. The staff are always helpful & friendly, & the food is very good. We live in the area & choose this cozy B&B when we need a quick get away. Highly recommend!!!

We loved our stay at the Wildwood Inn! The Inn is a very unique place and much better than I could have hoped. Aside for a few minor issues on wheelchair accessiblity the Inn is a real consideration for hosting any special event. My wife and I are looking forward to our next stay. There are a few employees and management that deserve special notice for outstanding service. I was trying to find a nice quiet place close by to celebrate our 21st anniversary. As I wanted to keep this a surprise, Myca the one who took our reservation and checked us in was very wonderful in helping me keep the surprises under wraps until we got into the room. She was very thoughtful, understanding, and helped make our anniversary very special. Orinza is another very special employee that really went out of his way to make us feel welcome and our anniversary truely memorable. Very friendly and outgoing he saw to every need we had in regards to food services. Kendra Jackway is the one who really made everything come together. Without her foresight and proactive customer service our visit would not have been so enjoyable. Thank you so very much for helping our 21st anniversary special!

The Wildwood Inn was beyond incredible. My fiancé and I decided to stay here a year ago, but we had to cancel. We stayed here August 9th and were completely satisfied. It feels like a hotel, but is so much more homey. The pictures don't even do it justice. We'll definitely come back again any chance we get.

The people were so nice and pleasant, the room was beautiful and clean, breakfast was delicious, and the grounds were beautiful. It doesn't get much better than this.

My husband made the reservations as a surprise for our first anniversary, when we opened up our room # 12 there was a chilled bottle of champagne and a dozen chocolate strawberries on the bed, he had thought of everything and the hotel staff made sure everything was perfect. Could not have been a more perfect place to stay, we will definitely make this an anniversary tradition.

We wanted a special place to celebrate our 38th anniversary. The Wildwood Inn was perfect. Our room was eclectic and fun, the view from the balcony was lovely, and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool and sitting under a canopy of shade trees. The staff were friendly and invited us to return -- which we plan to do for other special dates in our lives. It's a wonderful retreat we will continue to enjoy. Great rates on weekday rates, and we'll try the restaurant on the days it's open. Thanks for a memorable anniversary stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Wildwood Inn. We went to celebrate our 3-year anniversary, and it was our first time at a B&B. Next year, we fully intend to return! If you are looking for a great place to stay, this is the one!

Unfortunate for us our anniversary fell on a weekday in which full breakfast and dining is not served. I loved the room (a bit small) and definitely the whirlpool but the continental breakfast was a flop. It was set up pretty but I would advise them to use platters with covers so the breads will not be hard and the flies could not sample the food. Also we had a superior room and no DVD players. Overall I would go back for relaxation purposes but not for special occasions. And of course not during the week Mon-Wed. good thing the hotel (bed and breakfast) is near shopping, dining, and theaters.

4.8 on June 07, 2012
I purchased the stay for my son and daughter-in-law as an anniversary present. I was concerned they might have difficulty checking in or have to pay a "hidden charge" as the price via bedandbreakfast.com was considerably less than directly with the hotel. They had no problems and loved their time at this hotel. They looked so relaxed when they returned. Thanks for making it so easy to purchase a gift!
4.4 on June 05, 2012
The lovely rooms, the pleasant outdoor seating and the fabulous breakfast buffet served our family mini-retreat perfectly. We were so pleased with our tranquil and relaxing accommodations as an offset to our rather tumultuous outside activities. This B&B is a great choice.

We spent a weekend getaway at the Wildwood Inn for Memorial Day weekend. We stayed in Room 13 and it was unbelievable. Had a balcony overlooking the pool, room was extremely well kept, and entire Inn was beautiful. Only downside was there was a wedding that day and we could not use the pool or restaurant. Breakfast the next morning was exceptional, better than any other hotel that I have ever stayed in, very good quality.

Much impressed by roon appearance, staff, country garden. ambient music and wonderful continental breakfast. Multiple stays have convinced me of consistency and plan to stay here every time I'm in Texas, in this area. Thanks particularly to Taylor, who very patiently listened and assisted me in several requests and for making me feelat home! Laura Halladay.

My husband and I were enchanted by the pictures online first of all, then delighted by our firsthand experience in person on our wedding night. The staff was incredibly cordial, helpful as well as professional. They seemed as delighted to have us as we were to be there! The room was impressively furnished and the whirlpool, fireplace and decor only enhanced its charm. We found out we were the only guests staying at the Inn, but were overwhelmed to still find a fantastic spread waiting for us in the dining room for breakfast. I really can't say enough about this place, except that it must be enjoyed firsthand to be truly appreciated! Bravo, Wildwood!

I travel to Dallas at least twice a month for business. When I have to stay the weekend, I leave the traffic to Dallas and stay in Denton. It's worth the drive to feel like I'm at home at this adorable B&B, and they always have my favorite room ready for me.

Spent two nights at the Wildwood Inn, The room was clean and elegant. Our bed was free of criters but was a little on the hard side. The breakfest was tastey but the food was barely warm and the plates were not cleared as they were used. The staff were very courteous and helpfull.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Wildwood Inn. It was one of the best bed and breadfast places I've been in a long while. But if there was anything to critique it would be that in the dining area where breakfast was served. The door to the kitchen/work area was open and there seem to be no staff around to assist if need be. But all in all it was an enjoyable and restful experience. Just what was needed for a quick weekend getaway. With Kindest Regards Ann Ragsdale

This was my third time staying at the Wildwood Inn. I adore this place. It is so clean, quiet and beautiful in a fabulous residential setting. It feels like it is my own big mansion. The service is outstanding and the people are so helpful and kind - just like old friends. I will go back any chance I get.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Wildwood Inn on 2/12/12 and I have absolutely no complaints about it. The staff was amazing, particularly our coordinator, Kendra. I had to plan my wedding from out of state and was pretty impressed with how little there was for me to really do or worry about. We had a wonderful time and have so many beautiful pictures (photographer was Lyncca Harvey, http://lyncca.com/2012/02/29/denton-wedding-photographer-wildwood-inn-nico-biffy/) in such a beautiful place. I hope we can come back sometime. I can't even imagine a better place for our wedding.

My husband purchased the Valentine package for me this year. We were so excited about the Wildwood Inn but what a HUGE disappointment. At $75 a plate a certain level of service and food is expected. This failed on both. The service was SO inexperienced and inefficient. I ordered fish, he brought steak, took both of our plates back to the kitchen, we waited at least another 30+ minutes for the correct food. The fish was hot but everything else on both plates was cold. We never saw anyone except our waiter to discuss the situation. Remember, this was Valentines, the dessert was TERRIBLE....really, a cheese course for dessert on Valentines?!?! I was also served warm champagne. The room was ok but when the a/c came on it rocked the ceiling fan over the bed so loudly it woke us up...ALL night. The experience was a complete disappointment and for the HIGH cost of it all...I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

The charming Wildwood Inn offers exceptional quality and a unique alternative to the chain hotels in Denton, Texas. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant and the hot breakfast. We stayed in February, but would like to return in the coming warmer months to take advantage of the pool, which is surrounded by a forrest area. I would definitely recommended the Wildwood to others, especially couples.

We love this place! My husband and I have stayed here twice now, once in Room 13 and once in Room 10. They're both phenomenal, with lots of space and really comfy beds. There's a little kitchenette upstairs where one can make excellent coffee in the mornings. We've only been able to stay on weeknights, so we haven't experienced the "real" breakfast yet. The continental breakfast is adequate. We can't wait to come back!

Our daughter was married at the Wildwood Inn January 3/2012 and we live in Atlanta, Ga. Kendra, and sometimes Courtney, were amazing at offering solutions to questions that were driving me crazy. Kendra would say,"don't worry about.... It's my job to do ....."The list of recommended vendors was extremely helpful and useful - we used Karen Scruggs Photography, A Man and a Woman florists, Captiva Salon and Spa - all beautiful. We had several compliments on the roast beef buffet dinner. Kendra was present to guide us through the rehearsal and wedding - staying in the background, but there when we needed her. Thank you for a beautiful wedding for our daughter.

When you drive up to the Wildwood Inn you feel like you are staying at someone's personal estate. The inside is just as fabulous when you enter. The decor is warm and inviting and so were the employees. Our room was stunning & romantic and enabled my husband and I to relax. We enjoyed the lovely library and it was very peaceful. The restaurant was not open when we were there, so cannot review that area. Our continental breakfast was fine, but we would have liked homemade danish or more variety. It was a wonderful place to visit.

I rented a posh room from The Wildwood Inn to enjoy a nice break away from it all with my husband. The staff members were extremely helpful and nice. The bathtub was such a nice size (perfect for a fancy bubble bath topped off with fresh flower peddles). The bed was so comfortable, it was hard not to want to spend they day snuggling. When we left to go home I was already planning when we could visit again. I would love to enjoy the pool, but it was far too cold outside. The rooms are reasonably priced, and totally worth the money.

Our first bed and breakfast stay and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was beautiful , spacious and appointed beautifully. When we checked in we were told that our particular room did not have heat. They explained there was a fireplace in the room, and to compensate for our inconvenience they sent a bottle of chilled champaigne and glasses to our room. We were also promised that if we needed extra blankets, to please let them know. As it turned out our room was very comfortable and qute warm, even with the fireplace turned off , despite the chill in the December air. The next morning we had reservations in their dining room for a wonderful Sunday brunch. We will definetly stay here again, and plan to return just to have brunch, or dine in the evening here sometime soon.

One of the most important things I was looking for on my wedding day was as little stress as possible. There are too many stories of brides, grooms, and everyone else too stressed to enjoy what is supposed to be a memorable and special day. The Wildwood and Kendra were wonderful. Everything was taken care of and all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. The venue was gorgeous, the food was excellent, and the staff incredibly friendly and professional.

My wife booked this place for us to stay on my Birthday. It was a very exciting and amazing surprise. The room we stayed in had a beautiful canopy bed. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The jacuzzi tub was big (could probably pass as a small hot tub) and it was so nice for the both of us to be able to sit back and relax in the tub together. The bed was nice and soft. I could have slept in it all day. The breakfast was wonderful, and I would love to come back and eat dinner in their dinning room. If you're looking for an Outstanding, Beautiful, and Quiet Bed and Breakfast, look no further THIS IS THE PLACE!

My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding before our honeymoon. We got Room 6 and it was amazingly romantic. We had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us when we arrived. The fireplace was perfect for a chilly November night. The staff was very attentive and always available. We left on Thanksgiving morning and they were having a lunch that smelled amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we were off on our honeymoon! :)

Everything was good but the restaurant was over priced and the food was not very good. We ate there on Friday evening and my salad was loaded with goat cheese. There was no mention on the menu about goat cheese on the salad. I do not like the taste of it and when I sent it back, the waiter was somewhat irritated that I would not order anything else to eat. Considering the only items ordered were a soup, my husband's main meal (which was drowning in black pepper), 2 coffees and a desert, our bill was extremely high at $68.00. We drank water and did not have any alcoholic beverages either. Breakfast on Saturday was fair. Certainly not the breakfast meal advertised on the website. And on Sunday, the meal was put away by 9:30 because they were too busy preparing for a wedding. Certainly did not know that was going to happen so we ended up eating somewhere else. The room was great. Bed comfortable. Although our room faced the main street, it was very quiet. In fact, the thunderstorm woke us up but once that quieted back down, I only heard the rain. Great atmosphere.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Wildwood Inn. The room was lovely, modern but cozy in design. We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night so it was nice and quiet. The jacuzzi tub was great and we even got to get in the hot tub for a little bit (although it never quite got up to the temperature it should have). We do wish there had been more healthy options for breakfast including an offer for some warm food like eggs or meat. We mentioned it to the worker at the desk and they said it was just not cost-effective for during the week visitors. Maybe some vouchers could be offered for a local restaurant serving breakfast. It'd be a great way to work with fellow business owners and give the guests a chance to try out a local place. Otherwise, it was a nice stay and we would definitely stay again but on the weekend...especially so we can try the restaurant for dinner and a full breakfast. :)

We had our daughter's wedding at the Inn in April. We rented all 14 rooms for our guests for 2 nights. Every room was decorated differently and lovely and charming and comfortable--our guests were "blown away" by the accommodations. Courtney and her staff couldn't have been nicer. We will return when we visit our daughter and her husband in Denton. The dilemma will be which of the well appointed, lovely rooms to choose!!!

My husband and I had our Rehearsal Dinner at The Wildwood Inn in May. Prior to booking the venue my husband and I had dinner at The Wildwood and looked at several of the rooms to determine if this was the perfect place for us. We were so pleased that I decided to have the bridal party along with my Mom and Grandmother stayed there the night before the wedding. We also stayed there the entire day before the wedding to get ready and have some girl time! The Wildwood has such an intimate and romantic feel that my husband and I stayed there on our wedding night as well. I have redommended this venue to friends as either a venue for an event or just a place to get away for a night with your significant other. Our coordinator was Courtney Adams and we could not have been more pleased with her service and the service of the entire staff. The food was excellent, the rooms are amazing, and the venue was the perfect intimate setting for our Rehearsal Dinner which was about 50 guests. Most have their Rehearsal Dinner at a restaurant, but we wanted to do something different and are so glad we did. Our guest's loved it and it is the perfect place for a wedding, rehearsal dinner, bridal or baby shower, business meeting, or just a night out at a nice restaurant with friends and family!

The Wildwood Inn was incredible! My husband and I stayed there for three nights on our honeymoon, and the rooms were beautiful. The staff was very friendly, and the Sunday Brunch was delicious. We will will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We just returned form our stay at Wildwood. We arrived Sunday and left Monday at 1pm. They had a big wedding on Saturday. The staff was fabulous. We stayed in #5. The tub and bathroom was GREAT! This is the most popular room and the wear and tear showed it. The bed looked lumpy and sunken in in the center. But we chalked it up to the feather bed not being plumped up. The sheets and bedding were great. The pool had not been cleaned out and leaves were in pool and at the bottom of the jaquzzi. They had to turn the jaquzzi from the from desk and no clear instructions were located near the pool. The biggest dissapointment was the breakfast in the morning. It clearly stated continental breakfast but what we got was a breakfast compliments of Costco or Sams Club. breakfast bars - muffins - cereal - yogurt - tea - coffee and the cranberry - orange- apple juice (not fresh). The milk was not on chilled on ice so it was warm for our cereal. We have had better from the Hampton Inn. We were expecting something akin to european breakfast - like the european style hotel. We rate the hotel a 9 but the breakfast a 0. Skip the breakfast and sleep inn.
Dear Previous Guest, Thank you for your review of our Boutique Hotel. We value all of our customers, and do our best to make your stay enjoyable. We are located on 4 ½ acres of wooded property and it is difficult at times to keep the leaves out of the pool and spa no matter how often we skim them. We do clean both the pool and spa on a daily basis. We are in the process of updating our guest rooms, however; it is a work in progress. I apologize that our breakfast was less than satisfactory for you. We do advertise only a continental breakfast Monday through Friday mornings and we discount the rooms for that reason (normally a $259 room on Friday and Saturday is $149 on Sundays – Thursdays). If you are looking for a full hot breakfast prepared by our chef, please join us on a weekend. We do hope you come back and try our hotel again. For our readers and future guests, Please give us the opportunity to take care of you and make your stay a memorable one! The Wildwood Management

We have had to stay at the Wildwood Inn twice in the past month due to plumbing problems in our house. I can happily say that I would not stay any other place besides my home or the Wildwood Inn. This is a must stay for anyone coming to Denton.

I didn't really eat there, but gave them a high ranking for dining because I thought this place was spectacular and did not want to hurt their rankings. Only met my expectations on service because I purchased a pretty expensive romance package for me and my wife that included champagne, but no one put champagne glasses in the room.

My mom drove up for a graduation and were quite agitated with the traffic in the last 45 minutes of the drive. We arrived, checked in and immediately went downstairs to sit out sit and just relax. The staff brought us wine and it was the perfect time to spend talking and laughing. It will be a great memory of my mom and me. Thanks, Wildwood

My boyfriend and I were looking for a secluded spot away from Dallas but still close enough to go into town if we so chose; this was the perfect location for what we were looking for. In a wonderful location close to I35 in Denton, close to my family in Frisco and just close enough to Dallas that you could still enjoy shopping, dining, etc. We will definitely be staying there again when in the area...

I and my 16 year old daughter and 3 of her friends stayed for her Sweet 16 birthday celebration. I have stayed at The Wildwood Inn many times, and this time, as always, was just perfect! The girls felt so special, the breakfast was exceptional, and our whole experience was amazing!

This was a quick overnight stay on our way to San Antonio. The room we stayed in was close to the library and front desk and was a little noisy until about 10pm. Everything else the rooms, service, dining, value, cleanliness and value were excellent - can't wait to come back and enjoy the rooms for a longer stay!!!

This little bed and breakfast was the perfect weekend get away! Rooms were clean and the bed was big and comfy! I also enjoyed the whirlpool tub in our room! Beautiful home decor and outside scenery! Enjoyed our stay just a little over priced for my family. We stayed here for a friends wedding.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Wildwood Inn! We were there for a conference at Texas Woman's University - but I found myself thinking about how much MORE I would rather be at the lovely hotel - enjoying the beautiful rooms, dining room, grounds, etc.! the only bad thing: didn't get to spend enough time there! the staff is fabulous - it's quiet, close to everything and literally, a retreat from the craziness of life! This was my second stay at the inn - and I will definitely book again! I recommend it to anyone looking for a blissful escape!

We stayed in room nine and it was gorgeous and we felt right at home. The only complaint was the bathtub, it was rather tiny and we couldn't seem to figure out how to use the jets properly. But other than that it the entire experience exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway with their loved one.

Taeylor, Just needed you to know how wonderfully attentive you were on the phone before and during our stay. Thanks for the call ahead of time to let us know our room was ready and for the late check out. The continental breakfast was perfect. My husband said the coffee was outstanding and that says a lot. We're hoping to get another chance to stay in your beautiful hotel. Thanks for the wine Kendra!

My coworkers and I spend 2 nights and 3 day in Denton. The fact that we choose to stay at the B&B truly made for a vacation like work week. The staff at the Wildwood Inn accommodated out needs and provided us with a relaxing stay. The three of us occupied the entire B&B for both night and it had a very homey feel. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful despite be the only three guests. I stayed in room nine which was very calming and roomy. The only downside was the lack of a plush bed, but that was a choice I made in wanting a jet style bath. My coworkers had lovely room a bit smaller in size but very plush beds. If traveling for work I would definitely stay again but I think the room rates are a tad high for personal use and would have to wait for a special occasion since I have family in the area.

Every other year my 5 sisters celebrate our Sisters Xmas in Texas. This is the second time we have done this. I can't tell how much we have enjoyed our stay. It is beautiful and the people there are so accomodating. This year because of so many activities going on while we were there they GAVE us a room we could all gather in and play our usual gin tournament. That was beyond our expectations, and it made our stay there a memorable one. Thank you again Wildwood Inn for helping us make another wonderful memory!

The service and staff were friendly and helpful. The room was charming but a little down at the heel, that is the carpet was dirty and worn and the curtain didn't work very well. We ate one night at the Inn and found the food average at best, but the waitress was very pleasant and friendly. The breakfast included in the price was something we quickly tired of, and went to Starbucks instead. Part of the problem with food was the regional difference; we are used to West Coast healthier food.

We had an afternoon wedding in front of the fireplace in the main dining room. It was awesome. Our coordinator, Courtney, was fantastic, taking care of all the details and logistics. The seasonal decor was wonderful, facilities and staff were exceptional. We stayed overnight following the wedding and had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend the Inn for both functions and the stay. We look forward to celebrating our anniversary here too.

When selecting Wildwood we were looking for a secluded environment that was located close to Dallas. Room #9 is well appointed, comfortable, and very romantic. I appreciated the staffs attention to detail as well as their desire to insure your stay is comfortable. Although we were not able to enjoy dinner during our stay, I can say the breakfast was incredibly delicious. We would recommend Wildwood to anyone and will surely return.

My wife and I have 31 years of marriage and as many years of staying in B&B's, lodges and cabins. I can truthfully say the Wildwood Inn is by far the best B&B of our experience. I am still amazed at the cleanliness of our room (#9), the tremendous friendliness of the staff (it wasn't a "put on" for guests) the great rates, WOW, the quiet hallways and the deliberate romantic ambience the moment we walked into our room. Who needs a plush hotel? If you pass through Denton, Texas the Wildwood Inn is more than enough! Outstanding! Thanks!

I've stayed in Denton many times, at dreary I-35 hotels while visiting my UNT student son. On a whim I decided to stay at The Wildwood on impulse, and hit the highway with my teenage daughter. We loved the country-inn aesthetic, it felt like we were miles away from the town of Denton, and yet we were right off I-35. Beautiful architecture, nice rooms (we stayed in the least expensive, and it was still large and beautiful.) Huge, deep bathtub and very nice complementary breakfast buffet, and a DVD player built into the large TV made it a great mother/daughter escape.

My daughter selected The Wildwood Inn in Denton as her location for the wedding ceremony, reception and reserved all the rooms for her out-of-town guests. Since she was living in San Francisco at the time, I made most of the smaller decisions and planning for her big day. She moved to Texas five days before the wedding, arrived in the DFW area two days ahead and delivered most of our accessories at the rehearsal the day before. On the day of the wedding, our guests filled all the rooms, the photographer arrived, the staff started turning over from the morning wedding to our evening event with practiced ease. I entered the dining room to find it completely transformed! Lisa was in full charge and only had a few questions for me. The evening went perfectly and I was able to really enjoy our guests, the delicious food and the perfect surroundings. I think it was the perfect venue for a "small" wedding. We had 60 guests. I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you!

We stayed in room 5 this time, we had stayed in room 13 before and had planned to again. The AC went out in that room and they offered all of the available comparable or better rooms as an option to us. We were just happy to have a place to stay and be away from home for our anniversary. The room was great, the bed was comfortable, the service was with a smile, and the rate was worth it. If you are looking for a romantic home away from home, the wildwood inn is an excellent choice.

We always stay at B&Bs or boutique inns when traveling. Our stay at Wildwood Inn was wonderful - just not long enough. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and well appointed with French antiques and reproductions. The bathroom was a like visiting a spa with a two person jetted tub facing a double-sided fireplace. It also had a seperate shower and antique marble top vanity. The setting of the Inn is peaceful, nestled amoung the trees on over 4 acres. Yet it is close to all activites of Denton's downtown square and two universities.

The service was amazing and the room was so luxurious! It was the perfect place to spend an evening of peaceful relaxation.

In January of this year my daughter and I visited the Wildwood Inn as a possible Vendor for her wedding. It was a cold, rainy day in Denton but this did not stop us from falling in LOVE with this unbelievable B&B. From the very beginning Courtney our event coordinator at the Wildwood was incredible as well as the entire staff. The wedding took place on 9/25 and it was a true fairy tale come true...Perfection. The food is wonderful and I promise will satisfy your appetite. We rented the entire Inn for the wedding and rooms as well...this was AWESOME....the rooms are simply divine and immaculate and beautifully decorated..I could live here! Whether you live in the metroplex and want a weekend or night get-a-way, in town for business, ballgame, etc.. host a party, wedding, shower or just dine at one of their fabulous dinners or brunch..don't miss this magical place. We were in town to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday, and they were located close to where we needed to be. The atmosphere is elegant, yet cozy and warm. The room was exactly as presented on website. They obviously cater to wedding parties and we appreciated the personalized agenda of what services were available for the two days we were there. It was informative and nice to have. We actually preferred the cold breakfast bar on Friday to the hot breakfast available on Saturday. The hot breakfast was a bit too rich and they quickly accommodated with some granola. We did not eat an evening meal there as we had other plans. It was a very nice accommodation and a nice change from the hotel rooms.
4.4 on September 05, 2010
It was hard to believe that a place just a few blocks off of I-35 could be so peaceful and quiet. The Wildwood feels more like a large home than a hotel with its living room rather than a lobby. The staff is very accomodating and friendly. The lunch was fantastic.

My wife and I have stayed at the Wildwood Inn for our last three anniversaries, and we are quickly making it our anniversary get-away spot! The staff is friendly and helpful, and requests are easy to make and we havn't had any problems when we make some requests (a cheese board delivered to the room is especially nice :). I highly recommend a stay at this great get-away hidden in Denton. And no, I'm not a staff plant just making a good review - we really like staying there. It's especially fun when you take the time to read through the journal in each room - past occupants have written their notes and memories, and it is always interesting.

Loved this inn from the moment we pulled up in the tree covered driveway that was almost hidden from the road. I reserved Room 3 (downstairs) as a surprise for my husband on our 4 year anniversary and was pleasantly surprised myself when they upgraded us to Room 10 (upstairs). The room was very clean, spacious, romantically lit, and well decorated. Unfortunately, we had already had plans to go out to eat for dinner so we didn't get the opportunity to dine at the four star restaurant they have in house. We did walk through it to get to the back patio (designated smoking area...maybe one day my husband will quit) and it was very nice just like the rest of the house. We also missed breakfast in the morning due to the bed being so comfortable we slept straight through. The back yard was beautiful, however the pool could have used a little more maintenance and we decided that we would not be swimming. Even still, over all this wonderful inn was very well worth every penny spent. We had an amazing time and plan on returning in the future! Thank you so much for a place to spend a nice, quiet evening on our anniversary.

this was our second time to stay at the wildwood. obviously we liked it enough to go back, but we took advantage of a special they had at the time. the "normal" prices seem a little high to me, especially considering the breakfast is rather lackluster. but the rooms are nice, the beds are comfy, and other than having no hot water at 9 pm when i wanted to take a bath, the tubs are great.

This place is a gem. It's big enough that you don't feel like you are staying in someone's house like a B&B and has more of an upscale boutique hotel feel. The hospitality was wonderful and we found it to be a very serene, comforting and pretty place to stay. The food was really delicious too. We had dinner there one evening and it was absolutely first class. I loved the Sunday brunch and the daily continental was really good too -loved the homemade granola. It's situated in a handy location and close by a nice place to walk along the waterway where we encountered unbelievably a flock of Canadian Geese! (we're from Canada). They do host a lot of weddings there (understandably, it's perfect for that) but it never interfered with our enjoyment of the place. I would highly recommend it and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when visiting the area.

We went on a deep discount offer and were able to stay in one of the nicest suites for a song. Lovely room, delightful view overlooking the pool. The free wi-fi was sub par, but the bed was comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub a nice touch. The only disappointment was the rather limited continental breakfast, though I'm told if we stayed during the weekend, there is a hot breakfast from a professional. Overall great place and a delightful stay.

I came here for a quiet get away and I definitely felt pampered. I felt like I was worlds away from everything, from the drive up to the beautiful back yard, everything had such a European feel. My absolute favorite was the jet bathtubs, so relaxing I believe I spent 3 hours in the tub one morning! My only concern was you wouldn't feel "private" with a spouse because inside the rooms you can hear everything in the hallway. But my room was right off the main hallway, probably better upstairs. It is also close to downtown Denton and lots of restaurants. They had a library of free movies which was nice and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. I really enjoyed my stay! :)

We were greeted by a very helpful staff. When they found out it was our anniversary they upgraded our room, which was a pleasant surprise. The facility was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Due to a wedding event the pool was not available but the staff advised us by email in advance so it was not a problem. We requested some information and Taylor went out of her way to locate a local business for us, printed our a map quest search and provided the phone number. On our next trip to the Denton area we will absolutely make reservations at Wildwood.

Thank you all for a great night...we will be coming back!

We arrived Friday night and checkin was fast and easy. Went to the room to drop-off our luggage and noticed that AC was set to cool to 78 degrees only. Tried to adjust it, but thermostat would not take our setting. Asked for help and attendant changed it to 70. Went down to dinner - restaurant is known to us, but this time was unsatisfactory. Wait staff is unexperienced and we felt uncomfortable with them. My husband had the salad with grilled lobster; the leaves were brown and wilted. Talked to waiter - he came back and told us that when they grill the salad, it will turn a little brown. Hey, we are not talking about a little grilled - we are talking about rotting!!! Otherwise the food was good (my husband had the pork tenderloin and I had the duck breast, which was exceptionally good). After dinner we sent to the room and noticed that the thermostat was at 76 degrees. So the whole time we were at dinner it only cooled down by 2 degrees. Then we went to the pool, which was great - very refreshing since it is in a shaded area. The surrounding is very peaceful and we could hardly even hear noise from the street. We stayed for over an hour hoping the time would be enough to cool down the room. I came in first and the temperature only went down to 75 degrees. No matter what we did, we could not cool the room below 75 degrees - only finally at 4 AM it started to cool down. It was very, very uncomfortable! Get this fixed - Hello - this is Texas and it is summer!!!! We have to really think hard about going back there and we only live about 10 minutes away! Really sad!
Hello and thank you for staying at the Wildwood Inn. We apologize that your experience was dis-satisfactory. We do our best to make sure each room and our entire facility is in perfect working condition before our guest arrive but please understand that planning for a broken AC is out of our control. However we usually have the ability to upgrade our guest to another room or definitely have our 24-hour AC repair service called immediately. Please remember we cannot meet your needs if you do not voice your concerns and any issues that happen during your stay. I think that in this particular case our front desk clerk thought the problem was solved since we did not hear back from this guest the rest of the night. It is very important to us that you are happy and comfortable and leave with good memories. We also appreciate your constructive criticism on our wait staff and will work hard to ensure they are properly trained. Again thank you for your time in voicing your concerns. The place is very lovely! The staff is very friendly. It was the perfect place for my ladies and I to get pretty before my wedding. We checked out room 14 for this occasion and I'm glad we did. We needed the space for the make-up artists, hair stylists, and room for all of the ladies. It was a very relaxing and fun time before the big moment, and I know the room and atmosphere helped that. My husband and I thought that breakfast that Monday morning would be the same time that it was on Sunday morning. When we went down to eat the staff member was cleaning everything up and explained that breakfast had ended. She then told us that she would bring all the stuff back out for us that was left. That made our morning! We had a long drive ahead of us and we were looking forward to this breakfast. We were so thankful for her kindness. Thank you for making our stay wonderful and beautiful! Regards, Steven and Jennifer Long

The room was beautiful and the tub was nice. There was a wedding going on so we were not able to enjoy the dining and the outside patio area. We did go out to a resteraunt recommended by the hotel that was outstanding. Hannah's off the square in Denton was a little pricey but the food was very good. We stayed in the square and just walked around till about 10pm and headed back to the room. The wedding was done and the music had stopped for the reception. All in all the stay was very nice and I would like to go back at a later date to try the dining and another on of the rooms. We stayed in room 5 and liked it very much.

I booked the one two-bed room at the Wildwood Inn so I could spend time with a Chinese friend who's living in the Denton area and working as an au pair girl. She was able to get an afternoon and one night off, and I wanted to treat her to a special get-away, a kind of retreat. I picked up my friend and we got dinner to go from Jason's Deli, planning to picnic at the Wildwood Inn and then go back out so she could get a haircut and buy a few needed items. The tree-lined pool area (a kind of backyard) was so peaceful and lovely, though, and the room so comfortable and quiet that my friend decided we'd just stay in for the evening and keep talking and catching up. Ours was one of only two rooms rented that night, so we had the sense of being the only people in this beautiful home-like setting. There was no noise, no coming and going, and my friend felt quite pampered. Neither of us used the whirlpool bath or the pay-as-you-go luxury items in the basket in the room, but we did appreciate these nice touches.

We have been staying at the Wildwood Inn for over 6 years. It is ALWAYS such a treat to stay in one of the uniquely decorated rooms. We have enjoyed every visit. The Wildwood Inn is the complete package, beautiful rooms, outstanding service and staff, and breakfast is a meal to be savored.

I stayed in room #2. Wasn't sure what to expect from a B&B in Denton, but I had an exceptionally comfortable and luxurious room, beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room cleanliness was immaculate. The small touches here mean I would never stay anywhere else in Denton (such as the visitor book for each room, or the library). The staff is extremely polite and efficient with every request. The hot breakfast on the weekends has excellent variety and is of top quality. I never wanted to leave.

My fiancee and I stayed here the night before his best friend's wedding was held at the Wildwood for convience, but the place was so nice! The bed was so comfortable and our room had a jacuzzi tub which was very relaxing. The plush carpets and homey feel to the room was a touch of class. We felt to safe and comfortable the whole time and the place was convenient, but sweetly tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of I-35. You could actually imagine yourself in the French countryside. Between us and the wedding party, the inn was nearly full but the staff was perfectly sweet and inviting. Our only complaint was that it was difficult to open the curtains in the bedroom's sitting area and the window by the tub. We absolutely plan on coming back time and time again and staying here! And who knows? Maybe we'll have our wedding here, too?! :)

We had a wonderful time at the Wildwood Inn. It was great to go to a wedding and after all the festivities just go upstairs and go to bed. It was especially nice as we were from out of town. The next morning, we had a delicious breakfast and were on our way!

We booked a night at the Wildwood Inn. We had stayed there before to celebrate our engagement & loved it! However, we didn't get the chance to dine with them. At the last minute they called to tell me the room we booked had flooded. They gave us multiple options for how we could be accomodated. We chose to stay in another room that same evening. They gave us a complementary bottle of wine with our dinner & chocolate covered strawberries. It was an amazing dinner & a fabulous room! I believe whatever room you stay in at the Wildwood Inn will be an amazing experience! Emily & Eric.

We had a wonderful stay at the Wildwood Inn in Denton, TX. The room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities you could want. Our room (#1) had a gas fireplace that we enjoyed. We arrived in the late afternoon after a long day and had originally planned to go out that evening. After checking in, neither of us wanted to leave the grounds! We relaxed and had dinner there. It changed the pace of our weekend and elevated the enjoyment.

What a treat this B&B is for a couple. We were traveling but hope to make it a destination on a future stay. Highly recommend both this venue and their wine tasting events.

We stayed in room number five and it was very beautifully decorated. Very nice furniture and the bed was so big and comfy! When we walked in the lights were already dimmed and the mood was set with soft jazz music. The people that run the place are very helpful and professional. We came in at 10:00pm and the on duty manager went and opened up the kitchen to get us some glasses of water after our long trip. We paid an excellent price for the most expensive room because they had a Christmas special going. There normal prices are a little high, but still worth it! Dining is a continental breakfast. The place is great in my book and we will definitely go back in the near future! Thanks.

Lovely atmosphere throughout. The weekend cooked breakfast consisted of a beautiful menu, though food was not up to level of expectance such as overcooked sausage, cool potatoes. The service was wonderful, overall and we would recommend staying to others.

My daughter had her wedding at the Wildwood Inn in Denton a few days ago. Our experience was wonderful. The staff handled our every need with professionalism and patience. In addition to hosting the perfect wedding, the Wildwood Inn of Denton is a great place to stay. My family booked rooms at the Wildwood Inn for the wedding. The three rooms were immaculate and well kept and beautifully appointed. The beds were very comfortable and conducive to a good night’s rest. While there were a great number of guests in the inn on our last evening, we did not hear a sound once our door was closed. I would certainly recommend the Wildwood Inn of Denton as a great place to stay in addition to hosting a perfect wedding.

I almost missed the turn to Wildwood. It is nestled back away from the road and provides a wonderful setting for a romantic get away. From the time I walked in the staff and facilities were outstanding. Wildwood is definitely on my list of places in which to return. Danny

I had the privilege of staying at the Wildwood Inn for a wedding weekend. A good friend of mine had booked the inn for her ceremony and reception. The staff were more than obliging and did a great job at making her every need met during her time of stress. The site was just gorgeous! I would reccommend the Wildwood Inn to anyone who needed to just get away or wanted to make their dreams of wedding day bliss come true!~

My wife and I really enjoyed the room. The staff was very friendly, and since they gave us a no cost upgrade just because they had an available room, it was a very nice value for us. The bed was so comfortable; and breakfast was excellent! It was our first time with Wildwood, but certainly will not be our last. Thank you for a wonderful evening, Russell J

We have stayed at The Wildwood Inn twice now - both for our anniversary. The first time we stayed on a weekend, and it was exceptional. We loved every detail. The breakfast was amazing, the accommodations perfect, and the on-site restaurant was out-of-this world. The second stay was during the week. Everything was exactly as we remembered except the breakfast. During the week a continental breakfast is served, and it was really sub-par. If you go during the week, expect an incredible stay (at a discounted rate), but choose a different spot for breakfast. Despite the breakfast, we will absolutely return (just not during the week), and this B&B is highly recommended.

Staying at the Wildwood Inn is like being a guest in a close friends home! The entire staff, service, food and accomadations were above and beyond my expectations. I can't wait to find a reason to stay again soon. Thanks you to all of you who made the wedding so special.

My husband and I try to visit Wildwood Inn at least once a year. We love that Wildwood Inn feels secluded, surrounded by beautiful trees, yet it's so close to home for us. The staff are always wonderful, the chocolate covered strawberries are delish, and dinner reservations at their restaurant are a MUST! Wonderful, romantic, relaxing experience.

What a beautiful place! It doesn't even feel like you are in Denton. My husband and I were there during the week, so we didn't get the whole experience of dining at the Wildwood, but I hope one day we can return on the weekend. The rooms are magnificent and the staff are very friendly and helpful if you are not familiar with the area. I have already recommended it to several friends.

The Wildwood Inn is a very classy place to stay that won't kill your budget. If you're looking for a serene, welcoming, romantic getaway that exceeds your expectations, book here today! This stay in particular was our second visit (our first being at our wedding in 2008) and I couldn't have asked for a more romantic place. The staff recognized us by name when we walked in (it had been a year!) and immeadiately sent up a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine (yum!) to help us get settled in our room. Upon walking in the room, the bedside radio was playing smooth jazz and the fireplace was already going (so cozy!). The room (#6) was much bigger than the website's pictures, and the bathroom (because don't most women check that our first?) was immaculately clean, stocked with tempting toiletries and the two-person tub was calling for us! So much in fact, that the first thing my hubby and I did was jump into that jacuzzi tub with our champagne and spent the next hour "catching up". After "bath time", my hubby realized that he forgot to pack his shaving kit...no problem! The staff sent up an entire can of cream and package of rayzors to use--at no charge! The next morning's breakfast was perfect (after almost missing it due to oversleeping!)---serving organic teas, fresh coffee, decadent pecan-infused french toast and seasonal fruit, the biggest sausage links I've ever laid eyes on, and the scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly (unlike some places that either make them too soft or uber-cooked and rubbery---yuk!). We then drank coffee on the patio and reminenced about our time together, listening to the birds chirp and enjoying the spring blossoms around the pool. Although we only stayed overnight, we were so relaxed and comfortable at The Wildwood, it felt like an entire weekend! We plan to return annually to rekindling our flames...you should too!

We are the parents of the bride. The wedding was 3/21/09 at 6:00 pm. The bride and groom stayed in room 14 and we stayed in room 7 - both amazing rooms. The wedding was wonderful and beautiful. The wedding coordinator was absolutely FABULOUS! We didn't have to worry about a thing - everyone had plenty of wonderful food; the decorations were done beautifully - it was all beyond my expectations! The rooms were just the icing on the cake - and the pecan french toast, sausage links, eggs and potatoes were perfect on Sunday morning before they left for their cruise and we headed back to Red Oak. All in all it was a Fabulous experience. My husband and I have already decided that we will be back to stay and the bride and groom are planning to spend their anniversaries there as well. Wonderful, Fantastic, Fabulous are the first words that come to mind when I think of our experience at Wildwood Inn. We also inquired at the desk - last minute - if my 9 year old granddaughter could stay with us - she was prepared to go home with her other grandma but when she saw the day bed in room #7 she was begging and pleading with me to stay....the girl at the front desk gave her ok and made my granddaughters evening that much better! Thank you...Thank you,...Thank you.

We were completely delighted and impressed with the Wildwood Inn. A very lovely luxurious stay. We will be going back!

When visiting some family in Denton Tx, they recommend Wildwood Inn. When I pulled up to the property I was so impressed. Once inside the service was amazing. The room looked exactly like the photo online. It was clean and cozy. The bathroom was spotless. I will make of a point of traveling to Tx again and staying at the Wildwood Inn. I will also recommed to anyone who is traveling to the Denton Tx area that they stay at the Wildwood Inn. You will be pleasantly suprised!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our second anniversary at Wildwood Inn. The room was tasefully decorated, elegant but not overdone. Our room had a fireplace and a whirlpool tub big enough for two. :) The secluded grounds effectively masked the Wildwood's proximity to the city. We will definitely return for another romantic weekend.

Homesickness is one of the reasons I dread traveling. Wildwood helped me instantly transition into vacation mode. I felt so relaxed. Becky and the rest of the staff couldn't have been nicer - quietly making things run smoothly, but always apppearing just when you needed them. Thanks for a great stay. Wildwood and all the friendly people starting at DFW Airport on down, helped to make my first visit to Texas definitely worth repeating.

I travel frequently for business, and am used to the Radissons, Marriotts, and Hiltons of the world...the Wildwood Inn was a welcome and charming change! The staff was friendly and helpful, the property was very pretty and well-kept, the rooms were comfortable, and I loved the whirlpooth bath! I will definitely be returning to the Wildwood Inn if I am in the area for business once again.

Wildwood has all the appointments, the fabrics, the beautiful artwork, the inviting beds that lull you in for a nice, restful nap! It appears as a family-owned business, but it's not, but the team works like a family. Hail to the chef, too! We'll be back!

When seeking a getaway spot, seriously consider this inn. It's appeal lies in it's location in the woods, it's furnishings and fabrics, the warm and polite staff, and last but not least, the food! I will be a returning guest!

When I go see my daughter at college I always stay at the Wildwood Inn. It's like being at home and it doesn't cost any more than a standard hotel. It's close to everything in Denton but it feels like your way outside of the city. The staff is very friendly and unintrusive. The restaurant is over the top, wonderful food, beautiful presentation. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

I decided to propose to my girl friend and the staff at the Wildwood Inn was very helpfull. They did a great job helping my suprise her by bringing the ring out on a desert plate. Thanks Dustin (our waiter, request him). The food was excellent and was definitely deserving of its 4-star rating. I definetly recommend room 5 for a nice rommantic get away. We had a great time and will be recommending this place to all our friends and family. Thanks Sarah and Keith for your hospitality.
