Magnolia House Bed & Breakfast

1317 Columbia Avenue , Franklin, TN 37064 USA (Show map)

This Craftsman Style home was built in 1905 and is situated on the site of the famous Battle of Franklin. It is with walking distance (less than 1 mile) to the beautiful downtown where you will find a wide variety of Specialty Shops and Restaurants and music. Just a couple of blocks from Magnolia House, you will find The Carter House and The Lotz House which are open daily for touring. Also, approximately two miles from here is The Carnton Plantation. Magnolia House is owned and operated by local residents, Jimmy & Robbie Smithson since 1997. It has 4 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, beautifully appointed with antiques. Each bedroom is accessible from the gathering room which is furnished with books, magazines, tv and coffee service. In addition to this sitting area, you will find a very spacious sunroom with skylights, ceiling fans and plenty of comfortable seating. It is also furnished with plenty of reading material, tv and games (as well as snacks) and has a small refrigerator and microwave. The sunroom opens onto a wraparound porch with a swing and rockers. A full breakfast is served each morning in the formal dining room downstairs and coffee brewed each morning upstairs in the sitting area. Take Our Virtual Tour (just copy and paste link to visit) -
