My wife and I were looking for a peaceful place to get away for the weekend, and the Amish Homestead Farm was just what we were looking for. We stayed in the suite which was very comfortable and nicely furnished and decorated. We took advantage of the wagon tour of the Amish country side which was available there on the property. Breakfast was plentiful and good, and Darlene and Jerry went out of their way to make our anniversary special with a surprise when we came in the second night. This bed and breakfast is not only right in the middle of Amish country but also close to the Natchez Trace historical sites. We also enjoyed prowling through the antique stores in nearby Lawarenceburg. This is really a great place to stay!

Amish Homestead Farm is the perfect place to escape for a few days of peaceful country living. My husband and I began to relax as soon as we drove up to the white picket fence and took in the sights of Jerry and Darlene's lovely farm. The house is comfortable and clean, and with her flair for decorating Darlene has captured the charm and simplicity of the original Amish design in each of the rooms. I was particularly taken with her own original landscape artwork on the wall in our suite. My husband, the history buff, loved the wagon ride into the neighboring Amish countryside, and Jerry gave us great insights into the Amish way of life. And the delicious country cooking did not disappoint! This is definitely the place I would choose to go back to the next time I need to get away for a few days of peaceful relaxation. Patricia C.
