Salado's first bed and breakfast is located in the heart of the Historic District and unique village. Renovated to its original 1872 splendor, the Inn displays both a Texas Historical Marker and a National Register Listing. Within walking distance of Salado's finest shops and restaurants, the Inn offers 12 rooms all with private baths. Our homemade breakfast is a favorite for the guests and is served daily in the main house. The decor and ambiance of the Inn is enhanced by its antiques and covered porches that beckon you to relax and linger awhile. To experience the peacefulness of this landmark is a time to reflect and remember...a time to cherish.

My boyfriend and I were hoping to find somewhere cute to stay as we made our way down to Austin, TX for Spring Break. We were a little nervous at first, but as soon as we walked in that room.... all our fears were washed away. The room and house were absolutely adorable! The breakfast was made up of: two different quiches, made to order waffles, fruit platter, an entire crock pot of bacon, a basket of biscuits, another crock pot of gravy, and orange juice to finish it off. It was amazing and we look forward to staying again.

We went to the Inn at Salado to just get away for the weekend for our anniversary. It was absolutely fabulous! The room we stayed in was very large, very clean and very comfortable. We especially loved sitting out on the porch. The breakfast was out of this world! If for nothing else, I would go back for their quiche! Best I've ever had by far. The owners were super nice and very accommodating... made us feel welcome. We will definitely go back!

I took my two granddaughters for their first time stay in a B&B at the Inn At Salado, and they were so impressed! The room with the great balcony was a favorite and they were completely awed by our Host telling them they were welcome to enjoy drinks from the kitchen. The breakfast was outstanding and the waffles were the best I've ever had anywhere. The girls were made to feel comfortable and it was a great "break" for all of us. Salado has amazing shops within walking distance and they loved the glass factory. We are planning another trip soon! Jannet, Allyson (13) Lorryn (11)

My friends and I have stayed at Inn of Salado at least 5 times. Usually we meet there in the Spring, but we stayed in December also. Some of our group of 6 or more live in North Texas, one in Georgetown, and I live close to Austin. It is a wonderful place to get together with " old" friends and talk...and talk..and talk...well, you get the idea ! The rooms are always clean and super comfy. The breakfast is delicious, and the palour is so inviting, you just want to sit and enjoy the ambiance of the place. The staff has always been gracious and accommodating. The rooms are all decorated true to the period of the house, so it is like visiting your sweet elderly aunt! We have been there so much, it has become a second home. The price is very reasonable! I look forward to making many more memories there, while sharing our memories of our past. MKS March 30, 2015

This was my first experience staying in a bed & breakfast. I truly enjoyed it. My best friend came from Burleson & I came from Elmendorf. Salado is about 1/2 way for a weekend with shopping and just getting away. Staying in your B & B was a lot of fun for both of us. We stayed in the Orgain Room. It was spacious, clean, & very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful & the owners greeted us as we walked in ready to serve coffee & orange juice. We helped ourselves to fresh fruit & a variety of other things. Definitely a great experience. Anne

Very relaxing stay. The breakfast and service was excellent. We enjoyed the stay so much we tried to extend another night, but that didn't work out because all rooms were already reserved. We do it again later.

We chose a great place for our first experience at a B&B. Our room was so spacious with its own porch with rockers to sit outside, relax and enjoy our surroundings. The jetted tub was WONDERFUL! We were treated to a yummy breakfast. The staff was great and made us feel at home. This was a special experience and one that we look forward to doing again.
