Room was super comfortable, loved the 50's room with the balcony in the back with less noise. I'm a bed and linens snob and the bed was amazing. Would definitely stay there again.

The house was very clean, as was the room. The bed was comfortable, although it could have been a little softer to suit me. Breakfast on both mornings was very nice and just the way to start the day. I really enjoyed the coffee they made there. All of the people there were very friendly. The area around the pool was peaceful and relaxing. I want to stay in the train car room next time.

We stayed at the Woodrow House two nights, one night at the beginning of our vacation and one night as we were returning home. The first night we stayed in the Caboose, which I loved! I've always been fascinated by trains...so this was perfect! A gentle rain was falling that night, and it sounded so soothing on the roof. On our return we stayed in the Victorian Room, which was also beautiful. I did appreciate that it was on the first floor so we didn't have to lug our suitcases upstairs. The breakfasts were delicious with several options to please everyone. The staff people were all very friendly, and we also met interesting guests. It was a great experience!

Across the street from Texas Tech University, this is the only place to stay in Lubbock! The staff is professional and friendly, atmosphere is like the home you wish you lived in, food is excellent in taste and quality, a lot of folks who stay there are regulars and us first-timers were instantly welcomed and enjoyed cocktails in the living room with lots of laughter and advice on restaurants, etc. Book early during Tech football season! (FYI: it's a bit pricey but well worth the experience!)
