Have stayed here now three or four times and have always felt as if I have arrived home after a long road trip. Dawn and David are excellent hosts and the intelligent world traveled guests make this a a "must stay" location in Texas. Having Texas Tech across the street infuses the experience with a bit a math and physics that are always welcome to me on the mundane road from Houston to Taos, NM. Upon entering the warmth is felt and the home style feel is presented with ongoing games ad puzzles. A glass of wine and local conversation. The Summers greet you with pool, hot tub, poolside chess and the view of the Caboose "Room". Friendly staff arrive for breakfast as old friends each time I stay. My only "Go To" destination when traveling from Taos to Houston. Thanks to Dawn, David, The Girls, The twins and the Staff for this fabulous place to lay my head and recoup. It's 3rd time I was staying at Woodrow house over the past 3 years, every time I was over in Lubbock. The place is great and very welcoming, and always super warm (literally and metaphorically) - wonderful as I've been travelling there in winter so far :) The rooms are really nice, each with its own character, and it all just feels like home. Definitely will be staying again.

We have wanted to stay in a B&B for many years, everyone we know who has stayed in a B&B had very good experiences. We were not disappointed in our first B&B stay. The Woodrow House is location across the street from Texas Tech where our granddaughter is a Senior. I love the personal touch, the staff made us feel right at home. The rooms were exquisitely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was very personal, the variety of food served were cooked to our liking and more was offered. If anyone goes away hunger it their own fault. My wife and I would not hesitate to stay again.

Our entire stay at the Woodrow was simply wonderful! The staff were kind and gracious, accommodating to our needs. Our room was clean, private and well stocked. The breakfast selections both days were delicious and hearty. The overall atmosphere of the B&B is very warm and inviting. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Lubbock!

The first mornings breakfast was great. The second morning was not great. We sat in the kitchen and ate very little. Not at all the great breakfast you expect at a bed and breakfast. The breakfast at a hotel would have been better and we didn't get the atmosphere you pay so much for in a Bed and Breakfast. Loved the sheets on the bed. Staff were very friendly and accomodating.
