This was an exceptional place to spend the night. Bed was the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in and the sheets were awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable, and most of all great cooks.

I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast so i really didnt know what to expect. Our stay was extremely enjoyable. The owners were extremely nice and personable. I would definitely stay with them again if I ever make it back that way.

My husband and I were returning to Houston after a stressful trip to see his very ill brother. Stopping in this town we love and enjoying White Oak Manor for the first time gave us a wonderful respite. The breakfast was fabulous and our hosts were friendly and kind, but respected our need for privacy. Stay at White Oak Manor!

I stayed at White Oak Manor Tues. July 5th. I was pleased with my room and found everything well thought out. Loved the plug ins on the alarm clock by my bed which made hooking up my CPAP so convenient. Tammy and David were quite engaging. I was their only guest that night. I'd stay there again in a heart beat. I felt the value offered was quite good compared to a hotel, especially those that serve the breakfasts to the masses. Was a nice stop on my way to Louisiana!

The house and our room was pretty, the breakfast very good but served too late--9:00 a.m.--for us, as we are early risers. Over-priced but can get away with it because of no major hotels in area.
Thank you for your review! We were so sorry to hear that you were not happy with your stay. Have a great day.

The Mardi Gras is on the West side and has plenty of windows which make it oh-so-light and airy, a perfect personal retreat for the time you're here. Unwind in one of the cozy chairs and catch up on the reading you've been meaning to do, or just relax with a glass of wine before crawling into the king-size bed and catching a movie for the evening on the TV. During the cooler nights, you might enjoy a splendidly romantic escape just watching the dancing flames from the electric fireplace anytime of the year. In the morning, awaken your senses with a bubble bath or a shower in the claw-foot tub/shower combination. The Southern Charm is at the back of the house. Its stained-glass windows add color and charm to the charming decor. French doors open to the petite balcony so close to the huge Pecan tree you could almost reach out and touch it: an ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee. All year long, cuddle up in the king-size bed and relax to the ambiance of romantic flames flickering in the electric fireplace. The bathroom features a wonderful claw-foot tub for a nice rejuvenating soak. Or take an invigorating shower in the corner shower. The White Oak is located at the front of the house with a bird's eye view of the 150-year-old White Oak Tree in the front yard. The sitting area is home to large, comfortable chairs: pick up your favorite book and get lost in the story. At day?s end, unwind by slipping into the claw-foot tub for a relaxing bubble bath. Then climb into the cozy queen-size bed to watch a romantic movie or just fall asleep in each other?s arms.
