This is not my first rodeo with Frank and Donna. This is the third time I've stayed at the Benefield and there is a reason for that. Frank and Donna have made a home away from home. My first experience was over a weekend for a wedding and the hotel accommodations that we had were frightening, to say the least. After 10 minutes on the phone we found Benefield, and Donna just happened to have the Hummingbird Room available. When I walked in she hugged me and welcomed me and from then on, I don't stay anywhere else. Donna is an amazing hostess and cook and she works very hard to make sure I am comfortable and I have everything I need.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write and for your kind words. It was and will always be my pleasure and joy to have you stay with us. Thank you again!!

We had a great experience. We chose to visit for our 5th Wedding Anniversary. The bed was confortable and the quiet!! It was a great getaway. The food was good and presented in such a manner you hated to eat it and spoil the art. But eat it we did and delicious! Donna was a gracious host. We shall return!!
Thank you so much! I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and most of all your getaway. Thank you again. Hope to see you again!

There were 6 of us total so were able to rent all 3 rooms and have the house to ourselves! We loved the sitting rooms to just hang out. Donna had ice, beverages, and snacks sitting out upon our arrival! An added bonus was each room had their own coffee maker so it's a great way to start off the day! Our morning then consisted of Donna making us a delicious breakfast! We loved our stay there and highly recommend it to others!
Thank you so much! So thankful you chose the Benefield House for such a special trip! Glad you liked the Kuerigs ¿¿ Thank you again. Hope you all can come again!

Our stay at the Benefield House was wonderful! We just stayed one night, but wish we had stayed two. Our hostess, Donna, was spectacular. The breakfast delicious and the accommodations were superb. We could not have asked for a more delightful stay. The Bluebird Room was particularly comfortable. If you ever get a chance to visit Jefferson, do yourself a favor and make it memorable at the Benefield House.

My husband and I stayed here on June 11, 2016 in the Hummingbird Bedchamber. It was our first time to stay at a B&B. The pictures on her site are exactly true to the actual house. The room was clean, nice and cool and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was nicely presented and tasted great. Donna is an excellent host. We didn't realize that there wasn't a TV, however we listened to the relaxation cd's in the room and had a very nice time just visiting with each other.
How nice of you to review our Inn. I really appreciate it and am thrilled you enjoyed your stay! Thank you so very much for your kind words!! Hope to see you again!!

We booked on a busy weekend and were concerned we would be far from downtown but it was very convenient to the shops and restaurants. Ask them to book a golf cart and the company will deliver it to the B&B. The room was immaculate, the bed was really comfortable, there were extra pillows and plenty of blankets. The ACwas cool and the rooms have overhead fans. Breakfasts were good both days and the owner was able to work around my dietary needs. The neighborhood was quiet, restful and inviting. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the porch. It's a smaller B&B so it felt very private. We didn't hear the other guests and I doubt they heard us. It was a great place for weekend away.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you taking the time to write this review! as an Innkeeper, there is nothing better then knowing your guests were happy!! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the detail!! Reviews are important! I am thankful for you that you chose our B&B! Thank you again! It is truly appreciated!

My husband and I chose to stay here for candlelight weekend. We have done candlelight now for about 18 years or so and usually try to stay somewhere different every year. I will say this is one of the nicest b&b we have stayed in. The room was very clean, breakfasts were great, and I enjoyed the homemade peanut butter cookies that were provided as a snack. Reminded me of the ones my mother used to make. He hosts were very helpful and easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

My wife wanted to subtly celebrate her birthday and decompress from the summer’s activities with a return to the elegance of the Benefield House Bed & Breakfast. The facility and our Bluebird Room were immaculate and the bed was ohh sooo comfortable! We looked forward to the breakfast each morning to see what Donna had so caringly planned, perfectly cooked, and elegantly served. What a delightful way to wind up the summer and start the fall! Thank you Donna and Frank for the cherished experience that we can fondly look back on and look forward to visiting your Bed and Breakfast again!
