It was our first time in a Bed n Breakfast and I couldn’t have asked for anything better! Our room was great, food was wonderful and innkeepers were the best hosts. We stayed for 4 nights in the Hummingbird Bedchamber which was very comfortable. It was truly a pleasure to meet and talk to Donna and Frank. They really are wonderful people. Will definitely go back and pay a visit!!

We stayed one night in the hummingbird room and it was a lovely and comfortable retreat. The room is bright and lovely, and not decorated in an overly fussy style like you find at some B&B's in Victorian era homes. The bathroom was large and nicely updated. The bed was super comfortable and there's a nice, light seating area. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and the owner, Donna, was delightful. We would recommend this for anyone staying in Jefferson.
Thank you, thank you! It is so nice of you to take the time to write. I am really happy that you enjoyed your stay and were pleased with the house. Your kindness is greatly appreciated, thank you so very much!!

What an amazing place--Benefield House exceeded our expectations! The house had been meticulously updated, but kept that 1800's feel. We felt so at home here and will definitely return. We stayed in the Bluebird room. It was gorgeous and so very comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Our hosts were so kind and helpful--they helped make the stay even better. We highly recommend Benefield to anyone wanting the perfect B & B experience!

We stayed here on a recent Saturday night and found the hostess to be welcoming and the home to be very comfortable. Enough period decor to be nice but not fussy. Our suite upstairs was light, bright, and comfy. Great king bed with quality linens. Roomy bathroom. Nice seating area. Breakfast was homemade and delicious strong with grapefruit broiled with coconut on top. Stuffed French toast, sausage and potatoes. We would go back if we decided to visit Jefferson again
Thank you so much for your kind words! And thank you for taking time to write! We truly appreciate you and are so thankful you stayed with us and so thankful you enjoyed it! Most grateful!

We stayed for the weekend, in the Bluebird Room. The room was spacious, with a sitting area in the bay window/turret. The full weekend breakfast was delicious -- warm yogurt, sausage, skillet potatoes and strawberry bread pudding(baked french toast?) on Saturday, with sausage, biscuit, grapefruit topped with toasted coconut, and an herb fritatta on Sunday. They keep a coffee bar stocked downstairs as well as in each room. The downstairs also has a microwave, small fridge stocked with water and soft drinks, and they serve cookies for an evening snack. Incredibly private and peaceful! The hosts are accommodating of requests, and attentive to anything you might need.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We are so thrilled you enjoyed your weekend away and are so thankful you stayed with us! Again, thank you so much. We very much appreciate it and hope to see you again!!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Benefield House. It's a beautiful home and the hosts were gracious. The breakfast was excellent and they did their best to accommodate our vegan requests. The bedroom/bathroom was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. Being an atheist, I was a bit put off by the bible next to the bed and the evangelical Christian book on a table in the foyer but understand most visitors will appreciate those.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write! We are so glad you enjoyed Jefferson, breakfast, and our b&b. We have always wanted to make comfortable and relaxing surroundings for all of our guests,we are so sorry you did not find it that way. Again, thank you for your review and thank you so much for staying with us!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Benefield House. We stayed in the Bluebird Bed Chamber. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sunrise through the stained glass windows was beautiful. This old home was so sound, they just don't build them like that anymore. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Donna made sure everything was just perfect. We will definitely be back in the future!
