Barons CreekSide featured in the HILL COUNTRY MAGAZINE: "....stands out as extra-special" ! And CABELAS has chosen the property to shoot their fashion catalog for the last three years. Two creeks are running trough 26 rolling acres. Listen to the sounds of nature on your porch ..and if you are ready for downtown Fredericksburg: its only a 2 minute drive. The best of both worlds. The "Swiss Log Cabins" were reconstructed from a 250 year old farmhouse that was shipped from Switzerland to Fredericksburg. Rustic elegance at its best. Whether you want a romantic weekend or gather with friends. All cabins have their own kitchenette or full kitchen(..the gentlemen usually sneak into town early in the morning to get some fresh goodies from one of the German bakeries). We can accommodate up to 53 guests in 16 different cabins and the Big Lodge. Great fishing just steps away from the cabins.

Was our ninth anniversary and first get a way in years. We arrived late at night but directions to pick up keys were clear and it was easy to find property from there. The staff at Barons had soft lights on inside as well as easy listening music. The place smelled so inviting also. We stayed four nights and everything was perfect. Thank you Barons for a relaxing get a way. Hopefully we will return one day.

Baron's Creekside was wonderful. The cabin we stayed in was fantastic. Very clean, well-decorated, and perfect for some romantic time away from reality. The creek outside is picturesque and was made for morning or evening coffee. Great place I would definitely stay at again.

My husband and I did a spontaneous weekend getaway to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life in the city. I stumbled upon Barons Creekside while searching for places to stay. My first impression of Barons was from the reviews which were good, but the pictures of this place really sold us. Although it was chilly on our visit we enjoyed the hot tub and friendly cats that lived on the property at the Sunset Chalet. I loved the rustic feeling of Barons and plan to visit during warmer weather to hike the property. Be sure to leave a note in their guestbook and be part of the history at this gem in Texas wine country!

We absolutely enjoyed our time at Barons Creekside. It will always hold a special place in our hearts!! We were married on the property (12-27-16). Daniel & Deb were the perfect host & hostess during our stay!! We are looking forward to going back each year for our anniversary!! We enjoyed the cozy cabin, sitting on the porch or by the creek watching the sunset, feeding the ducks & fish && enjoying the beautiful scenery!! I was a little hesitant about completing this review..don't want everyone to know about our romantic, relaxing secret a little get a place! Mike & Sherry Wheeler

We loved our stay! Quiet. Great Hospitality. Wonderful music and libations in the evening. We could not thank you enough for our great reception and how you had our daughter's birthday surprise presented as we entered our house for that week. May many more have the same experience of making family memories!

Was looking for a weekend getaway that actually offered what was advertised. Was completely satisfied with our cabin! Very nice touch with Christmas tree (that was a nice surprise). Had to unexpectedly leave early, but we definitely plan on a future stay! If you are looking for something that exceeds the normal boring hotel stay, I would say this establishment will be a refreshing change!

We stay at Barons Creekside frequently, and it is always fantastic! The cabins and grounds are beautiful, and Daniel and Deborah are the best hosts! We always stay in the log cabins. We love the cozy, rustic but luxurious decor and especially the rockers on the deck. The resident friendly kitties on site will keep you company on your porch, and the ducks will also come visit and converse as you relax in your rockers and enjoy the hill country scenery! The bistro menu at the wine bar is perfect for a casual evening of ecclectic wine and great food on the patio under the stars. The patio is equipped with blankets, heaters and a fire pit for those few chilly evenings in the winter. We are from Austin and enjoy our Fredericksburg getaway a couple times a year. Barons Creekside is our favorite place to stay!

We have been coming here for a few years now and we wouldn't stay anywhere else! The location is just a few minutes from Main Street where you will find great dining and shopping. The setting is so peaceful and romantic! Sitting on our porch, feeding the ducks or just to take a stroll thru the beautiful property is our favorite thing to do! The owner Daniel and Deborah are the best hosts and they will go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need! They also have "The Club" on site which is open Thursdays-Saturday evenings. We love this new addition since we can just walk over there for some live music, great food and wine. Thank you Daniel and Deborah! We will be back as soon as we can!
