Barons CreekSide featured in the HILL COUNTRY MAGAZINE: "....stands out as extra-special" ! And CABELAS has chosen the property to shoot their fashion catalog for the last three years. Two creeks are running trough 26 rolling acres. Listen to the sounds of nature on your porch ..and if you are ready for downtown Fredericksburg: its only a 2 minute drive. The best of both worlds. The "Swiss Log Cabins" were reconstructed from a 250 year old farmhouse that was shipped from Switzerland to Fredericksburg. Rustic elegance at its best. Whether you want a romantic weekend or gather with friends. All cabins have their own kitchenette or full kitchen(..the gentlemen usually sneak into town early in the morning to get some fresh goodies from one of the German bakeries). We can accommodate up to 53 guests in 16 different cabins and the Big Lodge. Great fishing just steps away from the cabins.

This place was incredible! My husband and I got married October 29, 2016. We planned on taking a honeymoon in the summer since both our schedules are pretty tight. A week before the wedding we discussed possible options to take an extended weekend and celebrate our union. I came across Barons Creekside while searching for weekend cabins. The pictures on the site looked like a dream and we booked for 2 nights. When we arrived, it couldn't have been more perfect! It is an absolutely beautiful place. Daniel, the owner, was a gem. He made it a point to greet us and get to know us a little. We loved the place so much that we asked if he had vacancy for another night. We book another night at another cabin that was available. While we waited for it to be ready for us, we received a text from him letting us know that he upgraded us to another cabin at no cost. That was a nice wedding gift :) It was definitely hard to leave and return to reality. We've decided to make this lovely place a tradition and celebrate our anniversary there each year. This place was amazing and the lovely town of Fredericksburg was a nice added bonus with its rich culture, good anda wine.

Wonderful place close to town. Our cottage was great - cute kitchen that was well stocked, 2 bedrooms with very comfortable beds, large front porch. Claw foot tub very quaint but difficult to get in/out of. The Club onsite for music and drinks was a bonus! Will stay here again on our next trip!

Baron's Creekside met our expectations at every turn - the owners are so nice and the bistro is a very cool place to hang out and take it all in. If you are wanting to be near the action of downtown Fredericksburg, but just far enough away that you get to escape and enjoy peace and serenity, this is the place for you!

Stayed for three nights in the Lucerne cabin and could not have had a better experience! Minutes from Main Street but was a quiet retreat. Loved the Clubhiuse...good food , wine, and music. Can't wait to visit again!

My wife and I stayed in the Mequite Farmhouse. It has everything you need minus the food. Their on site bar and bistro is excellent. Perfect for a weekend getaway with your significant other or the family. It gives you the "out in the country " feel while being 10 mins from everything in Fredericksburg. They have cats and ducks that live on property, we saw deer by our cabin one evening. Enchanted rock is about 20 mins away and the drive out there is spectacular! We only had one very minor issue, we called their onsite maintenance and he came out and resolved the problem within 15 minutes. The owners live on site and are so nice, all they want is for your stay to be the best it can be. We will definitely be staying here again. If you come to Fredericksburg without staying here you are missing out.

My wife and I looked online for hours and although there were many B&B's, we had a hard time deciding on what to do. I came across Barons CreekSide out of sheer luck and contacted the owners to see if there were any cottages still available. There was one left "Geneva" Swiss Cottage. We booked it and the owners were very personable and pleasant to meet and talk too. We arrived to a Swiss wonderland in Fredericksburg, TX. The stay was peaceful, romantic, and reinvigorating for the both of us. The Club is fantastic and has great bands that perform. We will be back for sure and I highly recommend Barons CreekSide for anyone that wants a quiet and quaint place to stay with a Swiss country layout.

This was an amazing property, the Barons Log Cabin was perfect for the two of us and our dog. Very comfortable and beautiful views. Nice area to take walks and close enough to town for anything you may need. Very relaxing. Will visit again soon.

My sister and I had a wonderful time at Baron's Creekside. I flew in to visit her for a few days and after driving 4 hours to Fredericksburg, we couldn't have stumbled on a better place to stay. The Geneva cabin was perfect and had everything we could possibly need for a one night stay. Daniele, thank you for making our visit so special. The onsite dining was fabulous and we met some really great people whom we enjoyed very much. The music, the atmosphere and of course the wine was perfect! Highly recommend, wish we could have stayed longer. Oh well, until next time!!!

We just came back spending an extended weekend at this wonderful place full of country side Swiss spirit. We stayed at Morgarten log cabin which is a great mix of rustic and historical artifacts with modern convenience. This place is exemplary clean and comfortable. We got a warm and friendly welcome from the owners - Daniel and Debra. There is a book written by Daniel telling a touchy story of finding the place and building this small Swiss village. It is a perfect place to relax, learn some Swiss history and enjoy the time. Debra and Daniel: Thank you very much again!

This is a wonderful place to just relax and soak up the day sitting on the porch listening to the ducks surrounded by beautiful nature and the mesquite trees. Just a few minutes away are some great restaurants and lots of little shops. Not far from Enchanted Rock and just a short drive to Luckenback. We will definitely be back!
