Room was quiet and comfortable. Had a couples massage, Lee Ann did a great job. Creek was peaceful and relaxing. It was a very nice 32 year Anniversary trip, we plan on a return trip next year.

My girlfriend and I wanted to get away for a few days and enjoy some time together. The cabin was a great place for us to spend a few days alone. The location is very close to Main Street that we could drive into town and enjoy the area. The cabin provided a great place for us to talk on the patio or hang out on the couch. It was the perfect place for our getaway. We're already planning our next trip back to Fredericksburg.

Spent 3 nights at the Hilltop Chalet and loved every minute. It was immaculately clean and exceptionally well equipped. Everything was perfect, not least the fantastic location.

We stayed in the Zug cabin on the tail end of a summer anniversary Texas road trip, and loved it! It was rustic yet still modern enough, and was very relaxing. I only wish it had been a little cooler out to be able to enjoy the grounds more! I loved the ducks, and the roaming cats, the nature sounds, yet the close proximity to town. It was a great stay, and I would very much recommend it!

My wife and I recommend Barons Creekside for discriminating couples and groups of couples who seek a picturesque setting and superb, professional service. While planning a brief two-night vacation in Fredericksburg, Texas, my wife and I reserved a one bedroom chalet at Barons Creekside. We drove to Fredericksburg and checked into our chalet--a one bedroom building that is located on a picturesque hillside and adjacent to a serene running brook. Due to unforeseen changes in our vacation plan, my wife and I were unable to stay in the chalet. We contacted the owner through Baron Creekside's reservation center and explained our situation. While doing so, we offered to pay for our reservation, even though we could not stay. The owner graciously allowed us to break our reservation and did not charge us for the two-night stay. Wow, what a pleasant surprise and genuine gracious act. The owner's compassion and understanding says a great deal about her personal character and empathy. It also says a lot about the resort. Bottom Line: If you seek a quiet, picturesque setting and wish to deal with genuine professionals, select Barons Creekside while visiting Fredericksburg, Texas.

Stayed in the Mesquite Farmhouse for a four day weekend. This was perfect for us since you can take your dog to this cabin. These are quaint, clean and private. The property is beautiful! It feels like you are so isolated and then bam! Fredericksburg is just around the corner. We are definitely planning a second trip to Baron's Creekside. Just so special there.
The original old 2 bedroom farmhouse. The deck overlooks large mesquite trees. Private outdoor" Hot tub" under the stars and a fire pit. Lots of privacy and pet friendly. The Mesquite Farmhouse offers lots of privacy and it has a private dog run, so its truly PET FRIENDLY. Closest to our famous fish hole. You always have the whole house for yourself !
The original Kentucky Log Cabin from the 17th century, very private and cozy, ok with kids and pets as well. The most private of our Log Cabins with a fireplace. Kids and pet friendly. An original hand-crafted bed is the focal point of this romantic bedroom. The bed has rustic wood posts with an old iron gate as a headboard. Special touches include a stained glass window found in the highest point of the eve over the bed.
