Barons CreekSide featured in the HILL COUNTRY MAGAZINE: "....stands out as extra-special" ! And CABELAS has chosen the property to shoot their fashion catalog for the last three years. Two creeks are running trough 26 rolling acres. Listen to the sounds of nature on your porch ..and if you are ready for downtown Fredericksburg: its only a 2 minute drive. The best of both worlds. The "Swiss Log Cabins" were reconstructed from a 250 year old farmhouse that was shipped from Switzerland to Fredericksburg. Rustic elegance at its best. Whether you want a romantic weekend or gather with friends. All cabins have their own kitchenette or full kitchen(..the gentlemen usually sneak into town early in the morning to get some fresh goodies from one of the German bakeries). We can accommodate up to 53 guests in 16 different cabins and the Big Lodge. Great fishing just steps away from the cabins.

Was looking for a weekend getaway that actually offered what was advertised. Was completely satisfied with our cabin! Very nice touch with Christmas tree (that was a nice surprise). Had to unexpectedly leave early, but we definitely plan on a future stay! If you are looking for something that exceeds the normal boring hotel stay, I would say this establishment will be a refreshing change!

We stay at Barons Creekside frequently, and it is always fantastic! The cabins and grounds are beautiful, and Daniel and Deborah are the best hosts! We always stay in the log cabins. We love the cozy, rustic but luxurious decor and especially the rockers on the deck. The resident friendly kitties on site will keep you company on your porch, and the ducks will also come visit and converse as you relax in your rockers and enjoy the hill country scenery! The bistro menu at the wine bar is perfect for a casual evening of ecclectic wine and great food on the patio under the stars. The patio is equipped with blankets, heaters and a fire pit for those few chilly evenings in the winter. We are from Austin and enjoy our Fredericksburg getaway a couple times a year. Barons Creekside is our favorite place to stay!

We have been coming here for a few years now and we wouldn't stay anywhere else! The location is just a few minutes from Main Street where you will find great dining and shopping. The setting is so peaceful and romantic! Sitting on our porch, feeding the ducks or just to take a stroll thru the beautiful property is our favorite thing to do! The owner Daniel and Deborah are the best hosts and they will go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need! They also have "The Club" on site which is open Thursdays-Saturday evenings. We love this new addition since we can just walk over there for some live music, great food and wine. Thank you Daniel and Deborah! We will be back as soon as we can!

I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable time than I had at Baron’s Creekside! The unique log cabins and grounds provided this small “Swiss-Texas” town atmosphere! An added bonus is visiting their onsite, Club for music and casual dining, the soups and Panini sandwiches are perfect to enjoy with a wonderful selection of wines and spirits. You might even run into the owners (Daniel & Deborah) who are so genuine and fabulous company, they make you feel as if you’re their personal guests! While there I booked for the same time next year. In one word – Marvelous!

Fantastic is an understatement! This was our second time to enjoy Barons in all of its beauty. My wife and I had our Honeymoon there in 2015 and this was a return to enjoy the beauty of the cabins, the land and the hospitality. Superbly done with amazing detail. Having been fortunate to have played in the Alps before, these cabins really bring it back into focus. Amazing recreation with history included. The Davos was enchanting...oh and the fireplace with a roaring fire... absolutely perfect! The cabins are wonderful and The Club was great as well. We indulged in wine and a couple of their small plates to make the first night a date night...definitely recommended to visit for drinks and music (and the fire pit with the provided blankets ;) Highly recommended, wonderful experience. Nice personal touches and great hospitality. Close to downtown Fredericksburg for sneaking in and shopping. Can't wait to go back! Thank you Daniel and Deborah for such a wonderful experience! Had a great long weekend at Barons CreekSide; unique log cabins swiss style. Was looking for cozy, tasteful accommodations in a natural setting and this was perfect. We stayed in the Barons Log Cabin. It a chilly weekend and we spent our days Christmas shopping, climbing Enchanted Rock and spending great family time by the fire. One evening we ate some delicious beef burgundy stew at their onsite club that had live music. We created wonderful memories.

I don't know if "rustic luxury" is a category...if so, Baron's has nailed it! Accommodations were warm and inviting, and the fully appointed kitchen made us feel like we were home! We're already planning our next get-away!
