My fiancé and I were long term guests at The Texas White House so I feel we have a pretty good knowledge of this B&B. For starters, the location couldn’t be more perfect. The B&B is walking distance to some great local restaurants. The neighborhood is safe and we frequently walked around early in the mornings and later in the evenings and never felt uncomfortable. If you aren’t sure of where to have dinner the inn keeper, Cindy, is more than willing to make some great suggestions. Speaking of Cindy, she is wonderful! She treated us like family and was so welcoming. Her breakfasts are delicious and she always has tasty treats out in the common areas for a quick snack. We stayed in the carriage house (a small house in the back of the property), which is perfect for a quiet, cozy getaway. The bed linens are AWESOME…I seriously need to purchase a set because they put my $300 Ralph Lauren sheets to shame. I truly can’t think of anything negative to say. It was the perfect extended stay and anytime we are back in the DFW area, this will be our B&B of choice.

A perfect quick getaway! Very quiet, comfortable, and cozy! I highly recommend the Tejas Room!
I am so glad to know that other people like the Tejas room, it is decorated with folk art and ceramics from our many trips to Mexico, and a beautiful quilt from Santa Fe. Hope to see you for a longer stay, next time- and see all the fun things in town!

We were overwhelmed with the warm hospitality of our host. This was our first time visiting Fort Worth & she couldn't have been more helpful with suggestions & directions to make our stay enjoyable. Our room, the Land of Contrast suite, was very comfortable, clean & beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious & we were offered several menu choices. We highly recommend this B & B to everyone! Canadian travelers.m
