Blue Mountain Mist is a wonderful place to relax and take in the Great Smoky Mountains. The service was friendly but not intrusive and the food was homemade and delicious! I will definitely stay there again when I need to relax and enjoy great hospitality!

We first stayed here for our honeymoon 25 years ago. Have also been back numerous times over the years so, no other place would be suitable for our 25th anniversary. This is the only place to stay when visiting Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. The sons of the owners, who now run the inn, were just small boys when we first started staying here. They know all the places to visit and sights to see while you're here. Next year (2017) will be their 30th year.

The Blue Mountain Mist was just perfect. Me and my friend were there for a girls getaway weekend and it surpassed our expectations. We were late to check in so I called to let them know and they were very accommodating. I think his name was Eric, he was still there when we got there and showed us around at 10pm, it was so nice of him to do that even though he didn't need to! Sitting on the balcony the next morning, drinking our hot coffee, breathing the fresh mountain air, and looking over the rolling hills was just magical. Probably one of our favorite moments of the weekend. Breakfast was delicious! Sausage quiche, home fries, fresh blueberry muffins, and fruit were the perfect start to our day. The company was even better! It was great chatting with new friends! The youngest son, I believe his name was Jason, gave us suggestions for hikes and gave us perfect directions on how to get there to avoid Gatlinburg traffic. We were only there for one night and one morning but I can't express enough how perfect it was. Definitely will be back and hopefully for more than one night!

I don't know where to begin. We picked this place after a lot of research. We are glad we did. My wife has some serious health issues and they went out of their way to make our visit possible. Everything you have read about it is true. The family and staff are fantastic. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. While religious they don't push it on you. They just practice it with a blessing at breakfast and by their actions. The pricing is very reasonable compared to what get compared to most of the other hotels in the area. We were going to meet our friends from Florida but they couldn't come because of the herican and Jason allowed them to cancel their reservation two days out. As stated by others the inn is only 6 to 10 minutes from pigeon forge but a world away from the hectic environment. It sets on several acres so you are not surrounded by other hotels, restraints, etc. It is extremely clean and well maintained. It is quiet and has a fantastic view of the mountains. The breakfast was plentiful and good. Evening deserts were great. We stayed in a cabin which located in a woods behind the inn. It was really clean, secluded, quiet and comfortable. It had excellent internet connection. Don't hesitate to pick this place. You won't be sorry

The rooms and scenery are beautiful and the food is incredible, but the amazing retreat wouldn't be complete without the fabulous people who take in each and every guest and treat them as family. This was truly a vacation we will not forget. This is home away from home.
