I don't know where to begin. We picked this place after a lot of research. We are glad we did. My wife has some serious health issues and they went out of their way to make our visit possible. Everything you have read about it is true. The family and staff are fantastic. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. While religious they don't push it on you. They just practice it with a blessing at breakfast and by their actions. The pricing is very reasonable compared to what get compared to most of the other hotels in the area. We were going to meet our friends from Florida but they couldn't come because of the herican and Jason allowed them to cancel their reservation two days out. As stated by others the inn is only 6 to 10 minutes from pigeon forge but a world away from the hectic environment. It sets on several acres so you are not surrounded by other hotels, restraints, etc. It is extremely clean and well maintained. It is quiet and has a fantastic view of the mountains. The breakfast was plentiful and good. Evening deserts were great. We stayed in a cabin which located in a woods behind the inn. It was really clean, secluded, quiet and comfortable. It had excellent internet connection. Don't hesitate to pick this place. You won't be sorry

The rooms and scenery are beautiful and the food is incredible, but the amazing retreat wouldn't be complete without the fabulous people who take in each and every guest and treat them as family. This was truly a vacation we will not forget. This is home away from home.

The stay at Blue Mountain Mist was great. It was very convenient to all Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg attractions, but also very quiet and peaceful - away from all of the crowds and noise. Also, you get the lovely mountain view without driving up some major mountain roads - which I appreciated. They are very accommodating to any needs and there is always friendly conversation to find with people there. The rooms were very private and clean. The property/surrounding area was very peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious for the days I was there and very filling. Also, at night they had "Temptation Station" with great deserts (and even had ice cream in the fridge if you wanted something extra). My short stay was being treated like a 5-star guest at home - it was worth every penny! I will definitely be back and recommend it to all of my friends!

As a gift to our daughter and her husband's one year anniversary, all four of us stayed at Blue Mountain Mist. It was a gift to ourselves as well. My daughter couldn't say enough good things about Blue Mountain Mist's Gracious Southern Hospitality. We have stayed at Blue Mountain Mist several times and we always leave feeling so much more relaxed and at peace with ourselves. It's a lovely experience! Leslie and Mike

From the moment we stepped on the property, we felt like we were family. The Ball family and staff went out of their way to make our visit as pleasant as possible. From delicious breakfasts with vibrant family like conversations, to late night homemade desserts on the spacious porch, our stay was just what was needed to relax and rest. The view is amazing and the accommodations lovely and spacious.

I stayed here for 3 nights while on a business trip. The hosts were so amazing and even made me a breakfast and had it waiting in the refridgerator because I had to leave each morning before the sit down breakfast. They were incredibly accomidating regarding everything! Me and my wife have stayed at many B&B's and this is hands down my favorite! We are already planning a trip here in the fall.

Blue Mt. Mist is on beautiful property with friendly hosts and wonderful rooms. We have been coming here for 15 years and have been thrilled with every visit. If you are anywhere near Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or Sevierville, TN this is the place to stay.

We rented a cabin which was cozy and removed from the main house. Blue Mist is located on 60 acres and away from the circus like atmosphere of Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. We had smoke alarm battery start beeping early in the morning. I told staff and they promised to take care of it. They forgot. The same thing happened with our request for an early breakfast. What I found intrusive was the owner did a reading and prayer before the common breakfast.
Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear that our property did not meet your expectations. I want to apologize for any inconvenience that the Carbon Monoxide Detector caused by chirping and that it was later in the day when I got the new batteries in. Also want to apologize about the early breakfast miscommunication, I know Robin tried really hard to make up for that and get you served as quickly as possible. Last we do not hide the fact and are very proud of being a Christian owned B&B and we have a greeting and prayer before breakfast every morning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation to Blue Mountain Mist. It's tucked away on 60 acres of beautiful rolling hills, but only a 5-10 minute drive into Pigeon Forge. We were able to skip all the crazy traffic in town on our way in and out of the B & B. We loved the delicious breakfasts and how the host greeted and prayed over the guests before we ate. The food was really over the top. This is not a hotel breakfast by any means. Fresh fruit, fresh fruit dip, pancakes, bacon, casseroles ... mmm mmm! The hosts are super friendly and helpful with questions about the area. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and there was no noise from the other rooms - and the house was completely booked up! Wonderful stay and we definitely plan to be back!!

Breakfast is always awesome especially the fruit dip! Will always stay at this b&b when we go to the smokies!

This Inn exceed our expectations. It was the first time at the Smokey Mountains and this B&B provided us with a tranquil and peaceful place in the mountains. Everyone is eager to help and assist in any requirements. We stayed inside the house and could not wish for more. I will encourage you to book here and let this people indulge you- you wont regret it.

Found this place online and it was meant to be. There aren't enough words I can use to describe this lovely place. From the victorian built Inn to the beautifully decorated rooms, this place is the best. And the food! Everything from the plentiful breakfast to the delicious desserts at night, are homemade. The desserts are made from scratch by Eric abd he really knows his way around the kitchen. There are spectacular views of thr rolling hill sides. It is only about 5 minutes from the main parkway. There is even spa there. I want to stay here again the next time I am in Seiverville or Pigeon Forge. I don't think you will be disappointed if you stay here.

My 16 year old daughter and I stayed March 22 and 23 on Spring Break. Over the last few years we have tried to visit a different B&B each vacation, and she said this was her favorite! I love the location, very country, serene, and peaceful, yet still minutes away from all the main attractions. Breakfast was wonderful every day (shout out to the homemade fruit dip), and it was nice to come back to home-baked dessert in the evening. Our room was lovely, and while exploring I liked that vacant rooms were unlocked for viewing. Very clean, the staff very friendly and welcoming. As a bonus to the beautiful main floors, garden, and grounds, there is a furnished basement with big screen tv, and collection of movies-many still on VHS. Reminded me of growing up, in the evenings we would head downstairs (we had the place to ourselves) and hit up the VCR. Beverages and popcorn always available. Many beautiful options for having a quiet cup of coffee/tea in the mornings. We also took advantage of the adjacent spa for pedicures and a massage. Well worth it. we definitely want to come back!

We went to Blue Mountain Mist Bed and Breakfast on Friday, March 13, 2015 and stayed until Sunday, March 15, 2015. When we checked in Eric and Mrs. Sarah made us feel very welcome. The bed and breakfast was beautiful and the room was beautiful and very clean. We would highly recommend Blue Mountain Mist. The breakfast was wonderful and the deserts we had at night were very good. Colette was very friendly and made our stay so enjoyable. We met some very nice couples and we will be back.

They work hard to give you a great experience. God bless, The Valentines

My husband and I were looking for a place near Pigeon Forge, TN to stay. We looked at hotels near where we wanted to stay but they weren't meeting our ideas or expectations. I stumbled on this place and it looked perfect, a Christian B&B. We stayed in bed and breakfast before, but I am always skeptical as they can be hit or miss. So I didn't know exactly what to expect. The house has lots of unique historical things to explore, and the rooms each had their own unique feel. We picked the Smoky Mountain room which was very comfortable. We stayed 5 days. The entire place was darling, perfectly located to near by attractions but yet secluded and the owners were wonderful as well as the staff. The breakfast was spectacular and the inn was comfortable and decorated beautifully. The views were spectacular and the grounds were wonderful. On top of all that their rates are very affordable. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to get away in the pigeon forge or Gatlinburg area. We were not the only guest, we met some great people and some not that great. The only bad experience was with some of the so called "Christian" guests that were staying there. The breakfast dinning area had tables were you can sit where ever you want to socialize with other guests except for one day 12/29 which as I was about to sit I was made aware that it was reserved by a rude supposedly minister's wife from Georgia. She reserved a table for her husband, daughter and herself, talk about anti-social people. I hope she reads this to remind her that being Christian is to act like one. Beside this unfortunate encounter this B&B was a great experience.

This is the most delightful place to stay. So relaxing and the hospitality is just the right balance between pampering and privacy. Can't wait to go back. The management, the food, the porch, location, views, etc., can't be beat. So designed to meet your needs but with the "farm house" appeal which is nostalgic.

B&B at its best! I don't have the superlatives to describe the beautiful surroundings; the lovely, lovely room; the family innkeepers, the incredible desserts and the overall sociability of the Blue Mountain Mist B&B. It was a most memorable weekend!

My parents, who lived to be in their 90s loved coming to Blue Mt. Mist with S and S Travel which was owned by one of their former students. Our parents wish was for their 3 daughters to stay at BMM. In 2008, after our parents had passed away, we 3 and our husbands came with S and S Travel. While the group from the bus went out to see the sights, we 6 just sat on the big front porch and rocked and looked at the beautiful Smokey Mts. This year 2 of the sisters and husbands returned with S and S to this wonderful BMM which is truly a home away from home. I picked up postcards of BMM in the dining room to write to my 2 adult children asking them to keep the postcard and on the card I told them the same thing my parents told me, "Someday I want you to come to the foothills of the Smokeys to Blue Mountain Mist which is managed by a marvelous family who now has the help of their next generation."

This was our first time to the Blue Mountain Mist but everyone treats you like family. Eric was most helpful and we enjoyed many talks with him in the kitchen as he worked away not missing a beat. Kolette was a sweet woman to talk to as well and both made us feel so welcome. I can't say enough about the yummy treats baked nightly as well as the yummy breakfast. This B & B really goes above and beyond any other that I have stayed at. We are already planning our future trips back there. It was the most relaxing vacation ever. Do as much or as little as you like because they are located in the perfect place. Love, love, love this place. Can't wait to go back. James & Luci Cyr-Ocala Florida

We truly feel at home here - that's why we call it our home away from home. The Ball family is so personable and we love that they take the time to answer any questions or just take the time to "shoot the breeze". We met Kolette (one of the innkeepers) nearly 4 yrs ago, and always look forward to seeing her each and every visit. She truly cares about how we are doing. If you haven't stayed here it- you won't regret it! And the views? Beautiful!

Upon arrival, we were shocked to see that both our favorite desserts were made on the first night! (Red Velvet and German Chocolate cake) Then when we got into our cabin, Kolette (sp?) had made up some chocolate covered strawberries and a sweet note! Yum! Totally blew our diet!!! The cabin was clean and bed was comfy! The main house was neat to just meet other guests and come together for breakfasts! (Which, by the way were always amazing!) Loved the sweetness of Sarah and Norman! Hospitality is truly their gift! To top it all off was Tammy's sweet spirit that manuevered her gentle hands to give one of the best massages ever! She is a gem that God has been polishing and is getting her in the light to impart many words of widom she has learned over the years! Thank you all for the best vacation ever! Blessings and love, Steve and Tricia Fayetteville, GA

My husband and I came to this inn for our honeymoon, staying a week in one of the cabins. This is in rural Sieverville, close to Pigeon Forge. I cannot say enough to praise this Bed and Breakfast. The grounds are restful and lovely. The staff is kind, helpful, and friendly. Our favorite times of the day were breakfast sitting with others staying at the Inn, and afternoons we spent drinking coffee on the front porch talking and reading. The main Inn is not the owners residence, so it' never felt like an intrusion, but like a lovely comfortable place to enjoy. There are multiple places to sit and ponder, a place to read, visit, watch a movie, have a meeting,or family reunion. Nearby are attractions or just nature as we came for. The cabin was clean, cozy and with a comfortable bed. We both highly reccomend the Inn , the rooms, or as we preferred the cabins. We will come here again. It was romantic, and restful to our souls. It was a great place to stay, and get into the mountains we love, without getting into the commercialism of nearby areas.

We've been staying at Blue Mtn. Mist since the early nineties. We usually visit there at least once a year. We recommend it to all our friends. It's like coming home. The owners, always remember us. It is convenient to everything, but away from the busyness of Pigeon Forge & Sevierville. The accomodations are exceptional. Rooms are very comfortable. The food is outstanding. Sarah, Norman, Eric, Justin and the whole staff are so warm and welcoming. I cannot say enough good about this place.

My husband and I remember coming here when Mrs. Ball's mother was still alive, that was in the later 1990's, Sarah and Norman had their 3 children, Jason, was a 8 yr old boy then came his little brother and sister soon after that. We have not been back since 1999, but we think of this place very often. We built our home on the premise of Sarah and Norman. Keep in the faith and you will soon come back which we are coming here soon. I love this place excellent after all these years. It feels like your coming to Grandma's house. But you never feel like going home. I offen think of the wonderful meals we had here and the hot cups of coffee or cocoa on the wrap around porch at night. We came here many times since 1999 but that was the only last time we came here, and now we are all excited to come back to where my heart loves the mountains of Tennessee. I told my husband lets see where there is a permanent place that I can find for my body to be stored after my demise, sorry I am looking for a place but Where we live in Florida is just too hot there, I love alitttle coolness.. but I feel that this place and all their help really outdoes themselves in the food. I hope that Jason will be able to make us a small dinner for two, if he can, cause Those winding streets at night I am kind of afraid to drive in that way. I highly recommend this place to anyone... This has become one of our favorite places to come back to.. Thanks Sarah and Norman for all those wonderful years with your growing family. Linda Valentino

Our daughters gave us this trip for our 50th anniversary. It was our first time to stay in a B & B and definitely will not be our last time at Blue Mountain Mist. It was a great experience. We loved the Christian atmosphere. The location was very convenient to the things & places we wanted to visit. We met a lot of people from several states and so enjoyed the family atmosphere. The food was great as was the staff from the time we walked in the door until we left. Thank you for a great visit.

We needed a wonderful place to decompress, and we found it in Blue Mountain Mist. The setting, staff, service, blessing before breakfast, the various areas for sitting and reading in the house, on the porches, and on the property, plus the massages were terrific. The positive surprises were the massages and the fact that the owners practice their Christianity rather than just talking about it. The only disappointment was the size of the TV screen in our room, but that would not have otherwise bothered me if it had not been opening weekend for college football. They do have a very large TV screen in a large viewing room downstairs, but I never made it there. The peacefulness of the room and our porch was too good to leave. We are headed back for our anniversary.

I have been visiting this area frequently since 1972. My daughter gave me a stay and massage at Blue Mountain Mist for my birthday. This was the best experience I have had in all my trips to the Smokies. We stayed in a cottage, which was a first for us in a B&B. The facilities, staff and meals were great.

Oh yes, if you are going to Dollywood it is 5 minutes away. Be sure to check out thier discounts for Seniors and Military.

Our visit to the Blue Mist Mtn. Inn was the most restful, peaceful, joyful getaway trip I have ever experienced. I enjoyed the open Bibles in the rooms and scripture references throughout the house. The music on the piano "It is well with my soul" reflected how I felt while I was there. I came with my sweet daughter and her husband (who had been there before) and we had a wonderful time. I will try to get my traveling girlfriends to come back in February or March 2014. Thanks to the owners and staff for detail to every element of our getaway. Your hospitality was outstanding.

We honestly are very impressed by the level of service that was given to us. We enjoyed every moment of the stay. After we left we just wanted to go back and stay there forever! We are so grateful of them, from the breakfast to the care and love that was shown to us was more than what we were expecting. It was a surprise for my wife and she was so happy! We stayed in April and the weather was amazing! I highly recommend them. FYI, if you are planning to get a massage, please setup an appointment ahead of time. J & D

A perfect place to stay and relax is" Blue Mountain Mist" . We have been staying here for at least 15 years. The people you meet here and share breakfast with are the best. Everyone is so friendly and share ideas about what they do and where to eat. My husband, who gets up early ,can go to the kitchen and get coffee, then sit on the big porch and read the paper or a book. This gives me time to sleep and then get dressed in time for the great breakfast, which is different each day.We try to come back every year and Sarah and Norman remember us. We highly recommend this place, its close to everything and just far enough from all the crowds. The rooms are all decorated differently, with private baths, and even have tv and internet. Come and see for yourself. Jim and Jeannie from Ky

Norman and Sarah (and family and employees) provide guests with a warm and relaxing B&B experience ... a welcome relief from the commercialization of Pigeon Fork and Gatlinburg and a short trip into The Smokies. Breakfasts are southern country; lots and very good. A special treat is dessert available every night, which is a welcome and better alternative to restaurant offerings but available in homey surroundings. Our room (the Sugarlands) was spacious and the screen door onto the deck allowed natural, cool air flow continuously. An excellent choice in B&Bs ... we will return!

We visited the 1st part of March & had a wonderful time! Enjoyed the incredible view of the Smoky Mountains & were treated to a winter wonderland when we awoke the next morning. The entire staff were friendly & made us feel warmly welcomed to their beautiful Inn. Needless to say, not only were the Breakfasts incredible; but the homemade desserts in the evening were fantastic! We enjoyed the meals so much, that I purchased their cookbook and have treated my husband & my neighbors with the delicious results. We stayed in the main house in the "White Plains" room & found it comfortable & delightfully decorated. In fact, the whole Inn was a treasure trove of antiques which were being lovingly cared for. I had the 30 minute Swedish massage the last morning of our stay & it was well worth it. Left me feeling soothed & pampered. We will definitely return to this treasure of an Inn!

Peaceful escape away from the tourist traps. Quiet. Beautiful mountain view. Did not receive a 'tour' of the house (ie;basement area, etc) on arrival; we were shown our room. We explored the house (cautiously) on our own.
We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope that you return to stay again in the near future. I do apologize that you were not shown around properly upon check-in, we usually take time to lead everyone around the main floor, explaining breakfast and times, show them "Temptation Station" with everything that is offered, tell them about the downstairs area (usually to let them explore on their own as to not make the check-in process to lengthy), and answer any questions about the property and area. Again I do apologize if this not done when you checked-in and I hope it doesn't affect your decision to stay with use again.

We spent 4 nights here and really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Smokey Mountains. Inn was nice but in need of some upkeep after 25 years of use. Overall very nice especially the staff. Would recommend staying here.

This was our second visit this year. The staff, especially Kolette, is friendly, personal, helpful and great cooks! We stongly recommend the Blue Mountain Mist!
5 on October 10, 2012
We rented one of the cottages for a two-night stay. It was very cozy and comfortable. It was located near the inn so we were able to interact with the other guests for breakfast and evening dessert. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was friendly. Great staff that took time to answer questions - no matter how many. We would highly recommend to all.

What a wonderfully peaceful visit to the Smokies! Can't say enough about the delicious breakfasts- different each each morning! And the desserts in the evening were something to look forward too... truely home away from home!

My husband and I will definitely return here since it was one of the best B&B experiences we've had. The staff was welcoming and friendly and there is an air of peace and tranquility in this place. This B&B is quite beautiful and our room (in the turret) was very nice, with a large jacuzzi and a view that wakes you up at sunrise to head to the balcony with your camera to capture the beauty of a new day. Each delicious breakfast meal is presented "family style", so there's more to enjoy if one desires seconds. Most inns we've visited will prepare their special recipe for a late day treat. These folks placed one or two delectable, homemade desserts on the server marked "Temptation Station." That label fit perfectly! There is a great trail around this beautiful property, a lovely wrap-around porch with lots of rockers, and a view of the mountains that makes you want to stay forever. Truly a little bit of heaven!!!

The Blue Mountain Mist is a very relaxing and peaceful place to spend some time. The inn keepers are so kind and helpful. They know the area and how to get around without getting into a lot of traffic. The breakfast and desserts are wonderful! The rooms are so comfortable; they make you feel like you are at home.

We spent 4 nights in this lovely mountain retreat. From check in, where we met Sarah, to 4 breakfasts, prepared by her 2 sons, to evening deserts(always fresh baked), everything was perfect. Close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Great Smokey Mountain national Park, but far in a world of it's own, we can't wait to return.

We visited for our honeymoon in 2011 and stayed in the Sugarlands room. We were first timers at a bed and breakfast and were so happy with what Blue Mountain Mist had to offer. The room was charming, clean, and felt like home. The service was wonderful and the breakfast was amazing! (Especially the stuffed french toast). We went back this year for our 1 year anniversary and plan to return every year as our own little tradition. We love Blue Mountain Mist, the family, and their staff. The Selvages

Our cottage was secluded back near the woods and was so quiet and peaceful! It was furnished very nicely, was spacious and comfortable. The 2-person jacuzzi was great for sore muscles and just plain relaxing. The king-size bed was super comfortable. We felt so spoiled when they delivered our breakfast to our door one morning...and it was yummy! The staff were very gracious and accommodating and made us feel at home. The delicious homemade dessert and coffee offered each evening in the main building/home was a very special real treat. The grounds are absolutely breath-taking with the views of the Smokey Mountains, and the location was awesome as it is only minutes from so many attractions in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area. The only problem was that our stay wasn't long enough! We look forward to being able to stay there again hopefully in the near future.

This was our first time in a B&B. We appreciated the warm home feeling along with the great view of the rolling hills and the mountains. Rooms were very nicely decorated. Breakfast was over the top. We both had a very relaxing stay. We are already planning to visit again next year.

had never stayed here heard about it through our Groupon. My daughter and her friend were with me last vacation before college. They loved it, love the antiques and decor. I loved how quiet it was and away from the craziness of Gatlinburg, no traffic just warmth great food and company,,,felt like staying at your grandmas house. I felt secure safe and cared for.

I loved my experience at Blue Mountain Mist.... only 1 problem.... I had a 1st floor room and it smelled very "musty" like a basement would smell... needs a de-humidifier in the room. Breakfasts were fabulous and the big porch a wonderful plus.

We loved having breakfast brought to our cottage each morning. It was so much fun opening the basket to see what was inside! We loved the desserts at night too, although our second night there was nothing new, just leftovers from the night before. That was a little disappointing. The staff was extremely helpful and so so nice!!

Hope to be back!

This was only our second time at a bed and breakfast, so I really cannot review the 2 night stay well. We were very comfortable in the Elkmont Room. The bed was very comfortable! In the morning the breakfasts were delicious with interesting conversations at the table with other guests. The evenings were quiet sitting on the large, wrap-around porch just reading or listening to the sounds of birds and frogs. Many thanks to the Ball family for a very pleasant 2 days and nights!
5 on June 08, 2012
We stayed in one of the cottages (Honeysuckle) for two nights. We had friends stay in other cottages close to ours. It was great being nestled in the woods and sitting on the back porch swing. We also went to Gatlinburg and hiked on of the trails. We had a wonderful time! Oh, and the breakfast and desserts in the evening were yummy!!
4.6 on June 06, 2012
When you stay at Blue Mountain Mist, you feel like you're in the country. But you're really only a couple miles from all the activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The owners and their adult children run the inn, and do a wonderful job of making you feel welcome. The breakfast every morning was different, but delicious. And they leave out a tasty dessert every evening that you won't want to miss. Blue Mountain is larger than most B&Bs (12 rooms + cottages), but it was built specifically to be a B&B and so is fully appointed without feeling awkward. If you're looking for something other than a hotel in the area, you can't go wrong with Blue Mountain Mist B&B!

We loved it. Stayed in te trillium cottage. Beautiful, private and quiet. The bed was wonderful, the food excellent as was the spirit of the place. My only complaint, is that it is difficult to get breakfast before 9:00 am in the morning. Both mornings we were there that was too late for us. We love being out hiking and enjoying the early morning hours and would have really enjoyed breakfast being available earlier in the morning. We did stay one morning to experience the breakfast and it was great, but it really can get you started pretty late in the morning.

The Inn is in a beautiful setting with spectacular views of the Smokey Mountains. Relaxing on the poarch to read or having an afternoon sweet treat the small touches for your comfort abound. All the afternoon treats are from family recipes.....as are many of the breakfast items. We felt very well cared for. My Son Ryan loved it also. We have already made reservations to return.

We stayed in one of the cottages and it was way more than I expected and very clean and decorated to the hilt. Great people! Only disadvantage was that they served breakfast at 9:00 am, shoot I'm usually already up and well into my day by then - feel like it set me back several hours! Otherwise, great place!

My hubby surprised me with three nights at this beautiful B&B. What a guy and what a B&B! Beautiful countryside, convenient to everything. We stayed in the Honeysuckle Cottage behind the "big house". Using this as our base, we visited Gatlinburg and Cades Cove while enjoying peace and quiet when we wanted it. The roses waiting on me when we arrived were such a special touch, as was the delicious cherry cobbler our first night there. The beautiful Bed and Breakfast is a comfortable home full of interesting memorabilia and lots of antiques. Being family-run, we had every need met. We actually felt like family after three days. Our second night there, we requested something chocolate for the dessert of the evening and we were not disappointed. The chocolate cake was divine! Since I'm cold-natured, I was afraid the cottage wouldn't be warm enough. It was perfect and romantic. There was some ice on the front steps but someone had thoughtfully salted them so, no problem. The massage my hubby arranged for me was delightful - so relaxing. I can't decide what my favorite part of the trip was - the wonderful breakfast, good company, massage, atmosphere - this place has it all. And to top it all off, a staff that seemed like family and cared that we had an enjoyable time. Recommend this place highly.

My husband and I have been going to the Blue Mountain Mist Inn for the last eight years. Every single time we have gone, our experiece has been exceptional!!! The inn is located out in the country right outside of Pigeon Forge and my favorite thing to do is sit on their beautiful front porch in one of their many rockers and take in the gorgeous view of the mountains. At night, you can sit and listen to the frogs croak in their pond. It is so very peaceful!! We have stayed in many of their rooms and they are each decorated differently and are so beautiful!! The breakfast is delicious and the desserts are the highlight of each afternoon/evening! The owners, Sarah and Norman Ball, make you feel like you are one of the family and their son, Jason, who now runs the inn, is so very nice. We truly feel like we are going back to see family each time that we return!! I highly recommend the Blue Mountain Mist Inn for a wonderful and very special getaway. we will be returning in the fall for another visit and cannot wait!!

My husband and I took advantage of a Groupon purchase to spend 2 nights in Morning Glory cottage at Blue Mountain Mist Inn for my birthday. It was so nice! Very clean and comfortable little cottage. We had a breakfast basket delivered to our door both mornings. The food was delicious! The only disappointment was the hot water would run out before we could adequately fill the jacuzzi tub. Everything else was perfect...right down to the fluffy, friendly dog that greeted us upon our arrival.

Don't let the tub in the room deter you. I thought it was a little weird from the pics online but my husband and I both loved the room and the never gave it a second thought once we got there. We stayed in Queen Ann's Lace and loved the little cottage and the option to have breakfast delivered each morning (awesome!)

My wife and I stayed at Blue Mountain Mist at the recommendation of one of her co-workers, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. We stayed in the Trillium Cabin, which was well-appointed and cozy. Everything worked exactly as we expected it to. The cabin even had enough hot water to adequately fill the jacuzzi tub in the cabin, a shortfall we've experienced at other B & Bs. The only (minor) issue we had was that the steps and porch of the cabin were iced over when we arrived. We notified management, and that was resolved immediately. The food at Blue Mountain Mist was amazing. Perhaps not surprisingly, we didn't want breakfast to end, because that meant we had to leave the table. All the food, including the fruit and juices, was prepared fresh each day. In fact, if you came to breakfast before the 9:00 AM serivce time, you could see the staff busy at work in the kitchen cooking. Portions were more than ample. If you left feeling hungry or unsatisfied, you can only blame yourself. In addition to the fine food at breakfast was the fine company. The tables are set up to feed family-style, with the smallest table seating four guests. So you got to talk with and know your fellow guests a bit, which was quite lovely and one of the reasons we love going to B & Bs. However, one of the big kickers was the fresh-baked desserts that were put out for the guests around 5:00 PM each day and left available unti 9:00 or 10:00 PM. Each day brought a new dessert, and each dessert was amazing in its own way and right. Blue Mountain Mist is having a 25th anniversary celebration later this year. If my wife and I can make it, we plan to go back and take our young son for all the activities they have planned then. But, more importantly, we eagerly look forward to visiting this B & B again in the not-too-distant-future.

For a peaceful getaway with pretty views and surroundings, or a romantic weekend, this is a great B&B. I have stayed in the main house before and loved it! My first time in one of the cabins - they are individually decorated, as are rooms in the main house. My cabin had all listed amenities: fireplace, jacuzzi tub for 2, kitchenette w/coffee, micro and toaster oven, a pretty bed. The extras: fireplace mantle had Xmas decor, back porch was semi-private, big enough for 2 chairs and porch swing, cabin was roomy enough to be very comfortable. Also had use of the main house. It offers sitting rooms with a lot of charm, fresh baked dessert served daily in the p.m., and a basement with large screen and video library. I love to enjoy the view of the Smokies, and the expanse of their own front yard, from the wrap-around porch at the main house, with a book and coffee. Other quiet, beautiful areas to sit, read and relax: a small back patio which is lovely, a gazebo with a bench in front, and a small pond with greenery and seating.

My wife and I have stayed here several times before and wanted our grandson to enjoy the atmosphere and great food. As always everyone made our stay very pleasant. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is always great and we especially love the fruit with the special topping. Our granson loved the many Christmas items that are displayed this time of the year throughout the house. There are always deserts at the temptation counter when you come in at night. Sarah, Norman and the entire staff are very friendly and helpful. We will be back again and plan to make the trip every year around Christmas. Thanks for everything!

We felt like we were family during our stay the food was very good as well. Each morning was something different and full of flavor. We stayed two nights in the Honeysuckle Cottage. My wife really enjoyed the privacy and quietness of that. Our stay was a little rushed; at least a couple of more nights would have been helpful as we could have relaxed more at the cottage and not rushed to take in other sights. All in all it was a good, clean Christian environment. The family who owns and operates the place are wonderful people with a heart for being hospitable. My only negative comment is about the desert time in the evening. It never occurred when announced, the times varied greatly. That made it a little hard to plan around. I believe we will probably try this again. It was a great get-away.

Very friendly and family oriented B & B. Norman and Sarah and their family were very helpful, efficient and personable. They made our honeymoon very pleasurable. We made new friends there. Close enough to the area's many attractions, yet sitting in the quiet countryside with views of the mountains. Our cabin was nicely appointed with 2-person jacuzzi, porch with rockers and swing, small furnished kitchen ... very neat and clean. Each cabin has its own theme. Wonderful staff-cooked and presented breakfasts with the other guests. Delicious! And even evening social times with fresh baked goodies, ice creams, etc. We were very happy there!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Mountain Mist. The fall colors were at their peak, and the views from the inn across the mountains were beautiful. Norman and Sarah are gracious hosts and run a homey inn with lots of personal touches. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful--especially the fruit topping from Norman's original recipe and the pumpkin/cream cheese stuffed French toast. We learned to save room at dinner out for dessert when we came back to the inn in the evening because of the wonderful desserts waiting for us there. We think the pecan pie is the best we've ever had!

This was my first B&B experience and it will stay with me forever. It is exactly what I hoped for. Comfort, peace, wonderful views, charming, I could go on and on. Food was awesome (came home with recipe for Lemon Press Pie!!!). Each breakfast started with a prayer of thanks. Met wonderful people. Close to lots of sites to visit. If you're looking for a peaceful, quiet get-a-way this is it!! Hope to go back some day.

Came here to do some leaf-peeping in the Smokies. Had fantastic weather and beautiful fall colors on the trip up and back. This B & B is unique to our prior experiences with B&B's in that we had a morning food blessing in the quaintly furnished dining room. This was a great way to begin the day. Everything met my expectations because I'd researched it beforehand. The "temptation table", desserts and drinks offered in the evenings, was an added bonus. My husband and I met some very nice people and we had some interesting discussions around the log burning fireplace in the evenings. That was a much more intriguing way to relax than watching TV. The traffic in nearby PigeonForge/Gatlingburg during the Oct.peak turned out to be a disappointment as we weren't able to do everything we had hoped because we couldn't get around. The area has undergone drastic change. I would definitely stay here again as it's away from the craziness, has bucolic views, rockers to sit in to enjoy them, and I had an overall great experience. The innkeepers are a wonderful Christian family and this is reflected in their behaviors. There are two things I would wish they would do: get softer mattresses and offer dinners. I'd have preferred to dine there than deal with the crowds and traffic of the resort towns and I would be confident I'd eat well.

The room was beautiful and so was the rest of the house, and grounds. We were served breakfast every morning that was never the same thing twice but was delicious everyday, and the staff had something sweet for dessert waiting for us every evening. Our daughter and son-in-law have enjoyed this B&B several times and treated us to two nights and we added another night. We can see why they enjoy this so much. The location is great -- beautiful mountain views while having such a wide variety of things to see and do. The cottages are wonderful, each with unique decor, nicely appointed and very clean. You can have a breakfast basked delivered to your room or enjoy meeting other guests around beautifully decorated tables (which we enjoyed each morning). The staff is warm, helpful and friendly. We enjoy having a "surprise" dessert each evening. We just cannot say enough about this Bed & Breakfast.

My mom, dad, husband and myself just returned home from our 3day- 3night stay at the Blue Mountain Mist Inn & we absolutely loved it! We stayed in the victorian house called Bella Rose and it was truly wonderful. Such a beautiful house and plenty of extra room. The breakfasts they served us were beyond delicious and they even prayed before the meal. This was quite impressive since most of the world has took God out of everything! This place had such a good christian atmosphere and we all felt so welcomed. I can't say enough good things about our stay here; I just hope we get to come back very soon!

The view and the country setting were awesome. We hope to return and see our newfound friends again. It was a true pleasure. Your newest visitors from WV.

Perfect!! IN Every Area!! If you want a perfect bed and breakfast experience, stay at the Blue Mountain Mist Inn. I even purchased a framed print of the inn to hang as a reminder of our perfect getaway.

We have stayed at this Inn several times over the last 20 years and it has always been a realxing and enjoyable experience. The grounds are beautiful and it is far enough in the country to be quiet and calming yet close enough to all the vacation "things to do" opportunities so that you don't feel like you are driving long distances to get anywhere. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and helpful and the food is always outstanding. The breakfast is a great start to the day and the evening sweets buffet is a welcome treat at the end of the day. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay at this inn whenever we are in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area!

We spent three nights at the BMM and felt like honored guests. Everything was meticulously clean and well kept, from the rooms to the gathering areas to the lovely flower gardens and the grounds. Our stay at the Honeysuckle cottage was delightful. One night we sat in the back porch rockers reading and listening to the symphony of tree frogs and night "critters". Another night we enjoyed the large activity room with big screen TV and watched a movie from the Ball's extensive collection. The national park, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg are all close by for daytime activities: trail hiking, soaking up the history of the area, shopping and restaurant dining. But after a long day in the hustle and bustle, it was nice to come back to a peaceful retreat and a freshly prepared delicious dessert in the inn at "temptation station". Norman and Sarah are the perfect hosts, making you feel like an old friend. We highly recommend Blue Mountain Mist

The stay was very romantic and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch with our coffee enjoying the view of the mountains. When you come in at night there was home made desert that they had made for the guests to help themselves. In the morning they would fix a wonderful breakfast. You felt like part of the family making your self at home with books to read or take walks or do nothing at all. We enjoyed the experience very much and would go again.

We visit at least annually. This visit we stayed at the Honesuckle cabin. We always stay in the cabins and love the breakfast delivery at 9:30am. My favorite breakfast is the stuffed french toast and I always hope we are there the day they serve it. The honeysuckle was recently redecorated in a black bear theme which is not as frilly as it once was but nice and very clean. We love the isolation of the cabins and a black squirell visits the cabin at lunch time daily. The main house has great afternoon deserts that we ALWAYS enjoy. This is a family run operation that treats you as family members as well. Their frequnt visitor and referral discounts make this a place to return to for every visit to the area.

Having stayed in several B&B's in the past 27 years, we would have to say that "Blue Mountain Mist" in Sevierville has been the best. Not to discount the room appearance and overall cleanliness, we expected nice room(s) (decorations, space, etc.) and an overall clean inn (personal room, sitting areas, well-kept grounds, etc.), and were very pleased with both of these categories. The innkeepers and staff were very cordial; making us feel "at home" , relaxed, and comfortable during our visit. I wish we could have stayed longer, but will most certainly make a return trip! We are passing the good news on to others. Bill and Margaret Eddings

We stayed in the honeysuckle cottage for two nights and it was an unforgettable stay. The cottage was set back in the woods and felt very private. We had breakfast delivered to the cottage both mornings, the food was great and the second morning we even had a little heart shaped breakfast casserole that was so cute! Eric was very helpful and super nice. I think it was Eric that made the Italian cream cake we had on our second night. Very yummy! We will definately come visit again. Thank you for everthing BMM.

My wife and I had a very nice time here. The rooms are clean and everything is well maintained. The breakfast is very good and there are some great snacks at night! Loved that you were just far enough outside of town to feel like you were "away from it all", but it was not even a 10 minute drive to either Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or Sieverville!

Amazing place! Cannot wait to go back. Stayed here several times with church group of ladies. My husband & I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary this year, and guess where we're going? Blue Mountain Mist!!! Absolutely LOVE Sarah, Norman, Eric, and Jason! What a wonderful testimony of the Lord's Provision.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Mountain Mist. The cottage was delightful. We felt at home and welcomed. The Ball family truly exhibits the gift of hospitality. The food, breakfast and evening desserts, was delicious. We also appreciated the grace said before breakfast. Staying at a bed and breakfast that was not in the city but gave us breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains was wonderful. Two thumbs up for Blue Mountain Mist !!

We have been going here for 14-15 years. Just returned from celebrating our 4th anniversary. Staying with Sarah & Norman is always a treat. Their breakfasts are supurb!!!

We just returned from a stay at Blue Mountain Mist (March 14-17) having stayed there before. This is our "get-away" area. It's near the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and the Smoky Mountains are just a short drive away. We love staying here. The innkeepers, Norman and Sarah, are the nicest people and have always made us feel at home. We stayed in one of the cottages this time, and it exceeded out expectations. I don't know which is better, the rooms in the inn or the cottages as they are both decorated beautifully and are so comfortable. And the breakfasts are to die for! I tell everyone about this B&B and know they will have just as wonderful a time there as we do. We'll definitely be going back, again and again. Thank you Norman and Sarah!

5 on December 15, 2010
This place was fantastic and the family that runs it is just as personable as can be. We stayed over Thanksgiving and enjoyed some amazing breakfasts, plus in the evenings they put desserts out along with wassail, cider, coffee, and tea. They really do the B&B concept justice. My wife and I stayed in a cabin and absolutely enjoyed every minute, plus they were extremely helpful with any requests we had. They also offer a breakfast delivery option to your cabin if you want to enjoy breakfast that way, but I'd stick to the family-style meal option as meeting everyone else is a huge part of the fun. Also, the location is ideal--just close enough to town that the trip in is very quick, but honestly I wouldn't want to be ANY closer!

Very nice B&B. Clean, beautiful, very comfortable and a wonderful bargain. Very convenient to Dollywood especially and all the area attraction. But...I have an issue, maybe a deal breaking issue, with breakfast. Don't get me wrong. It is excellent. But it is only served, family style, at 9 a.m. Not earlier, not later. 9 a.m. For someone who like to get up early and get out, doing stuff, like being at Dollywood when it opens, that does not work. It will be 10-10:30 before you are out the door. Or skip the breakfast. Those are your options. That may be great for the folks running the B&B...not ideal for many guests.

We stay at Blue Mountain Mist approximately twice a year visiting family. Staying at the inn is like coming home, the atmosphere is relaxing and inviting, food always fantastic and the family that owns the inn and their staff will always make sure your stay is comfortable. We often meet and talk to repeat visitors anytime we stay there, how often can you say that anywhere else.

There isn't even one negative thing to say about Blue Mountain. Everything was amazing. We wish that there would have been more leaves on the trees, but there isn't much they could have done about that :)

This is indeed a wonderful place to stay anytime you are near the Pigeon Forge area. Sarah & Norman were very cordial & friendly allowing you to involve yourself with other guests as much or little as desired. Each evening wonderfully delicious pies, cakes, and other deserts were available with fresh coffee or other drinks. Breakfast was a special treat both mornings we were there and the opportunity to share "family style" with other guests was very enjoyable. I heartily recommend the Blue Mountain Mist Inn to anyone.

Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn was a wonderful place to spend 5 days for a get away. Great Christain atmosphere!
5 on August 05, 2010
We have stayed at Blue Mtn Mist numerous times over the past 20 years. We have stayed in the main house as well as the cottages. We have watched the children grow up, move away, and return to help run the inn. Can't say enough good things about our experiences. The quiet and solitude is wonderful. Places such as this attract only the finest guests. Warm, friendly gatherings at the breakfast tables as well as the nightly desserts. Even the nicest and cleanest hotels can't hold a candle to the atmosphere and accomodation you find here. We make it a point to try and stay here whenever we are in the area. Sometimes you have to reserve early, especially during peak times. Just my wife and I have stayed here as well as with our daughter as a small child and now a teenager. Every time has been great. Highly recommended. We will be there again soon for a last minute get away before school starts.
5 on July 23, 2010
We stayed two nights just to get away. The Innkeepers were very friendly and answered all of our questions about where to go while we were there. Breakfast was wonderful and the nightly desserts were great. The cottage was extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed. Can't wait to go back in the fall!!

Staying at the Blue Mountain Mist Inn was like staying at home without a care in the world. Breakfasts are wonderful. Views are beautiful. Your days relax you and you will feel at ease with the world. Inn shows the love of Jesus in all they do. Rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced. For exercise try running up the hill 7 times we did what a work out!

Blue Mountain Mist Counrty Inn and Cottage was an awesome experience. They have some wonderful cottages in the woods, with all the amenities you want in a B&B. Good area off the main road, just a few miles outside Pigeon Forge.

We've stayed in three different rooms. Each room is sparkling clean and beautifully decorated with it's own, unique theme. Country comfort with charm and elegance throughout. Thank you sooooo very much for making our stay as memorable as it was. The breakfast that was made every morning was made with the freshest ingredients and tasted wonderful! The people who stay there on a regular basis were just as nice as the people who own the b n b. As a clean freak the home was cleaner than a hotel could ever be. I cannot say anything negative about this place. The ones who worked there were as accomodating as one could possibly be. It felt like you were right at home. Thank you once again!

We look forward to the times we can return to the Inn, knowing we'll be graciously welcomed by the Inn's entire staff & feel instantly at home. Staying at the Inn with it's Christian atmosphere & Inn Keepers & surrounded by the glorious nature, we feel it's almost like a small piece of heaven on earth. This last stay we got to experience a beautiful valley rainbow right outside our window, breath taking sunrises, & delicious food! We always leave with regret that our stay is over. Thanks Norm, Sarah, Jason, Eric, & Lance for making us feel at home.

Very comfortable with a wonderful front porch view of the mountains. Coffee is always on and some of the most wonderful pies (along with other goodies). The pecan pie I still dream about!! From the time you drive up and see God's beauty all around you to the excellent care you are given, you feel as though you are royalty. Norman, Sarah and their family are so kind and generous. The food is outstanding. We highly recommend the Blue Mountain Mist experience to everyone. Wanda Levan, Rome, Georgia

We spent our first anniversary and first experience at a bed & breakfast was at the Blue Mountain Mist. The grounds and home are stunning, the food was delicious, and the Ball family is amazing. I would go back without question and encourage anyone going to the Smokey Mountains for a vacation to spend their time at the Blue Mountain Mist.
5 on March 31, 2009
Staying at the Blue Mountain Mist has become an anniversary tradition. We love the Sugarlands Bridal Room with the giant jacuzzi tub in the turret and the breathtaking mountain views. If you can move after the amazingly delicious country breakfast, served family style in the dining room, or delivered to your room, you can check out the outlet mall in Pigeon Forge, hike in the Great Smoky Mountains, or drive thru the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts district, all accessible by "the back roads," with maps provided to help you bypass as much traffic as possible. When you return from your days outings, relax in the garden room downstairs with a big slab of chocolate cake, or my favorite, Sweet Potato cake with Carmel frosting just like my grandma's. Norman and Sarah have become like family over the years. They never fail to ask after the health of my husband's family who stayed at the inn for years until my mother-in-law's health prevented her from traveling. Each year, vacationing at the inn is like visiting home, only someone else does the dishes.

To our wonderful friends at the Blue Mountain Mist, Thank you so very much for the time we were able to spend with you this past Christmas, and thank you for allowing us to stay during the two days you weren’t technically open. We understand the need for rest and family time and were very touched that you treated us so well! We looked around for a place to stay on our honeymoon and found some places that would do (though weren’t ideal) and out of those, some of them weren’t even open. We found one and visited and were very glad that we did, we cancelled that night. Then… we found the Blue Mountain Mist. It had the best of everything we were looking for. We wanted a true bed and breakfast; we also wanted it to have a Jacuzzi and a fireplace. Ideally we further preferred a cabin to “a room” in an inn for the privacy. We just couldn’t seem to find anywhere that had all of that and had decided we’d have to settle. We are SO glad that we didn’t!!! I can’t tell you how restful, relaxing, and just wonderful our stay with you was! I couldn’t possibly list all of the things that impressed me about your inn, but a few of them include the gorgeous scenery, the great hospitality, unbelievable food (delivered hot and fresh to our door), and perfect rooms / cabins (ours was the honeysuckle)! If anyone is trying to figure out where to have a wonderful, relaxing get-away, they would be remiss to miss the Blue Mountain Mist, Country Inn! Thank you so much for providing the perfect honeymoon getaway! Sincerely, Aaron and Michelle

We stayed at the Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn in the main house and were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the room. Decor was delightful. The bed was super comfortable. Be prepared for a great nights rest. The house was very quiet in the evening. Nice to relax, read or plan your next day. There are numerous sitting areas on 3 different levels. Food: The breakfasts were bountiful and delicious. Most everything from scratch! The hospitality in the dining room was very gracious without being "fussy". Temptation Station -- Don't miss it! Each evening, we had our choice of several pie and cake offerings. Always plenty of coffee, hot tea, and other beverages available. Because we were there in December, the home was beautifully decorated (inside and out)with Christmas finery. Relax on the front porch in the morning and watch the blue mist dissipate. I recommend this B&B to anyone traveling in the area. Location is very convenient to many points of interest. Since breakfast is included, the value is excellent when compared to local hotels and there's just nothing like the family, friendly staff and atmosphere to make your stay here so much better than a hotel. We'll definitely return.

Stayed here over Thansgiving 2008. By far one of the best experiences we ever had!! The Balls and their staff went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. Our 13 year old son even got to hang out with their grandkids. We loved the cottage experience. A little privacy yet close access to main house, which was stunning. Always felt like Grandmas house when you entered. The smell of sweet pot. cake and fresh baked goodies overwhelmed. Our bed was a little firm but that was the only thing not perfect. Do yourself a favor and go. We will definitly return!!!!!

This place is perfect. It is located in The Great Smoky Mountains and you can do as much or as little as you want to do. You are located in the country right in the mountains, but are only minutes away from Dollywood, shopping, hiking, horseback riding, great restaurants and Gatlinburg. The inn is beautifully kept by a warm, friendly staff of family and employees who make you feel at home. The landscaping is beautiful and the huge front porch is a great place to sip sweet tea and rock away the day. Breakfast is southern style, abundant, varied and always delicious. Norm`s fruit cup is very popular and changes with the seasons. If you have any special needs in your diet, let them know and they will help you out. The big highlight is late in the afternoon when Eric brings out the homemade desserts. They are rich, beautifully presented, and mouth-wateringly delicious. We go here twice a year and I wouldn`t think of going anywhere else.

We stayed at the Blue Mountain Mist Inn in Sevierville, Tennessee for four days for our daughter's wedding about 15 minutes away at the Rosewood Gardens, Sevierville. Our stay was wonderful. We rented a house that is on the property which suited our family more than adequately and the accomodations were wonderful. The setting was beautiful, quiet, and the hosts delightful. Breakfast every morning at nine was served family style at the Inn, dessert was served in the evening to those who wanted to enjoy food and company together. We originally tried to reserve three beautiful rooms in the Inn, but they had only one left when we tried to reserve those in June. However, renting the house turned out to be a better idea for us in the long run and gave us freedom to talk and be together. We would go back in a minute!

our stay at the blue moutain mist was probably one of the best vacations my husband and I have ever had!! The inn is just wonderful..peaceful, beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms, with everything you could think of provided, not one detail overlooked. The entire staff are so wonderful, I just can't wait to come back here again...absolutely fabulous!

We have stayed in many Bed and Breakfasts and this is one of the best. Although it is not on the select registry, this bed and breakfast would qualify. We had come to Tennessee to go to Dollywood. Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn was able to get us Dollywood tickets 2 days for the price of 1 day. The rooms were tastefully decorated, very clean with comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfasts were delicious. We had 2 children with us and they enjoyed the breakfasts also. We requested Blueberry pancakes one day and stuffed French Toast another time and they accommodated our wishes. The desserts prepared each evening was so delicious-sometimes after a long day at Dollywood-that was supper to us. The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful. My husband and I would like to return and just enjoy the Bed and Breakfast and the 60 acres of peaceful bliss. They had a lot of places to sit and relax, internet access with a computer available, and a large screen TV for movie watching with lots of family friendly movies available. Also, they run specials all year long. Check for their specials on their website.

We especially enjoyed relaxing on the Victorian style wrap around front porch. It was incredibly peaceful with beautiful mountain and garden views and lots of hummingbirds and butterflies. Coffee is available early in the morning for us early risers and breakfast is fabulous. It is served family style so that you can just take only what you want to eat. During our stay we had stuffed french toast, pancakes, quiche and many other delicious dishes. The afternoon desserts are something to look forward to after a long day of hiking. The personnel are very accommodating and seem to be readily available should you need anything. The public areas are spacious and numerous so you can have some privacy even if there are many other people staying. It was a wonderful experience and we came away wishing we had a couple more days to stay.

This was our 10th, maybe 15th, stay at Blue Mountain Mist. We've introduced three other couples to this Inn. All loved it as much as we do and wish to return. Not only are the accomodations exceptional, the hosts are delightful. Privacy is respected, but friendliness is abundant.

We recently stayed at the Blue Mountain Mist in the Honeysuckle cottage. It was a perfect get away to celebrate an anniversary. Reservations and check in were so easy. Our cottage was just the right size with all of the amenities we needed. We ate breakfast in the main inn each morning - the food was delicious and eating breakfast with the other guests was also enjoyable. Many of the guests we encountered were repeat visitors to BMM. There was always goodies and sweet tea available in the inn when we stopped by in the afternoon or evening. The location was great....the views from the porch and walking around the yard was beautiful. However, we were just a few minutes from all the restaurants and activities of Pigeon Forge. We felt like we were a guest in a home rather than a hotel number. We will definitely come back to Blue Mountain Mist.

THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME AT A BED & BREAKFAST AND WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! WE WERE MADE TO FEEL SPECIAL FROM THE MOMENT WE WALKED IN THE DOOR. WE STAYED IN A BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED CABIN THAT WAS SPOTLESS! THE STAFF WERE WONDERFUL AND THE FOOD...OHHH THE FOOD! THIS TRIP WAS FOR OUR DAUGHTER'S WEDDING, BUT THE NEXT TRIP WILL BE JUST FOR US...HOPEFULLY AN ANNUAL EVENT. THANKS AND GOD BLESS.

We've stayed here every summer since 2004 & hope to continue for years ahead. A delicious breakfast is brought to our cabin every morning & an even more delicious dessert awaits us every evening. The perfectly clean cabins are so cozy with fireplaces, jacuzzi tubs, & private back porches. You can take a peaceful, quiet hike in the Smokies or enjoy the entertainment of Pigeon Forge, always returning to the peaceful abode of Blue Mountain Mist. This is definitely our home away from home!

My wife and I have stayed with Sarah & Norman several times over the years. We decided to take a family vaction and inclued the kids and grandkids. We rented the 3br/3ba house behind the main house. It was perfect. Great privacy, room for the grandkids to run & play. And as always, great meals to start the day! We will be back!!!!

6/7/08 We stayed there for our 5th anniversary (we were actually married at the inn outside in the gazebo) and it was as lovely as we remembered it to be. The room was so clean and romatic and quite being away from all the traffic in town. The food is wonderful and we look forward to going again.

05/19/08 - 05/23/08 I first stayed at this B&B a little over 10 years ago. I loved it then and I still love it now. Very relaxing atmosphere, wonderful food, beautiful rooms and property. The staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Guests are encouraged to make themselves at home; this is truly a fantastic B&B!

We stayed in one of the cottages, and it was perfect. Cozy, first class, and CLEAN. The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff were professional, yet friendly. Honestly, this rates as one of my favorite places on earth! Linda and Bailey

Beautiful setting in the mountains - loved having the privacy of the cottage but also the availability of being in the main inn. Loved the delicious breakfast delivered each morning in the basket to our cottage. Innkeepers were very gracious and helpful as were all the others working there. We plan to go back and tell all our friends about our wonderful stay there.

50 yyr old, newlywed (second marriage) this was a great suprise. I love old home places and have always wanted to stay in one. This one was great to start with. We stayed in a delightful cottage. It was immaculant, clean, warm & romantic. The breakfasts we enjoyed was fisrt blessed by the owners, who came in and visited with us all there. They were so hospitable. WOW! #1 in my book!

I visited the Blue Mountain Mist for the 2nd time this past weekend with my 2 best friends. My first time was an anniversary trip with my husband back in November. We stayed in the LeConte Suite and were extremely comfortable. Norman, Sarah and the rest of the family were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was delicious. We are planning to make our girls trip an annual event. A wonderful place to get away with your husband as well!

We stayed in the Trillium cabin and it was cute, clean and private. The back porch, complete with 2 rockers and a porch swing, was romantic, perfect for sipping a glass of wine in the evening or watching the light filter through the trees in the morning. Breakfast was good and the innkeepers very nice. $179/night for mid-week/mid-November was a bit high and almost discouraged us from booking (and after our stay, I still think it was too high, which is why I only gave it a 3 out of 5 on the value scale). A word of caution: Non-Christians may find the open Bibles, Ten Commandment plaques, Grace at breakfast, etc. uncomfortable.

We recently stayed at this inn, and can't say enough good things about it. The innkeepers are so thoughtful, the food is terrific, and we loved our room. This was our second visit, and we'll go again.

My Wife and I were looking for a relaxing weekend to get away from the usual grind, and the Blue Mountain Mist Inn, owned and operated by the Ball Family, provided us with the environment we needed. Hospitality is the mainstay at this beautiful hideaway in the Smokies. Breakfast was beyond compare, and each evening numerous delectable delights were provided for the guests; desserts that would fill your Grandma with envy. The inn is clean and all the amenities are just what they should be. The setting is quiet and absolutely beautiful. I'll never stay anywhere else if I travel to the Smokies. The Ball family is providing travelers with the most incredible of vacation experiences in this day and time...a true vacation.

This is the absolute best Bed and Breakfast in the Smoky Mountains and one of our favorites in the USA. We have been there five times already [some in April and some in October]. Each time the hospitality was top-notch, the rooms were comfortable, unique, well maintained. The breakfast was enough to keep you going til dinner and it was delicious. The complimentary cakes, brownies, pies and beverages from around 4:00 to 7:00 pm were such a special treat, you don't want to have dessert at whatever restaurant you were at. The location of the Blue Mountain Mist is away from the awful traffic of Gatlinburg. Getting into the park was an effortless and simple drive of 15 minutes. It is close to Dollywood as well. The rocking chairs on the front and side porch provide a relaxing venue and breath-taking view to meet guests from all of the world. They have a little trail [about one-tenth mile] around the inn for those wanting an extra little hike without driving. Most of all, Norman and Sarah Ball and their family were the absolute nicest hosts you'd ever meet. We highly recommend the Blue Mountain Mist.

Norman and Sarah know how to run a bed and breakfast. I highly recommend this B&B. You want be disappointed. Far enough away to be secluded but not to far to enjoy the area.

Expremely nice people, clean rooms, great location - minutes from the parkway in Pigeon Forge. The honeymoon suite is our favorite! Great views of the mountains. Very relaxing. Breakfast was great but if you are not used to eating with strangers, it could be a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, a wonderful place to stay. We will be sure to do it again.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this B&B. They went above & beyond the call of duty, assuring that our wedding was exceptional! The family atmosphere, the breakfasts, the absolute phenominal desserts were more than we could have hoped for. The B&B is beautiful, we felt like we were part of the family! Thank you Norman & Sarah & the gang (you too, Tony) for everything!

The rooms were great - we had Chimney Tops with a view of the mountains. All the extras and fine touches are provided. It is obvious that Norman and Sara are very experienced and very caring. The Christian atmosphere was a big plus. We will be back and will bring friends the next time.

This was a gift from my church to my wife and I. Previously we had avoided Bed and Breakfast accomadations desiring more solitude. This experience was unique though since it provides seperate cottages for those desiring a more personal time. It was perfect for us and went beyond our imaginations. I have had the opportunity to stay at some top hotels while travelling and would put Blue Mountain Mist in the same category with any 4 star hotel in regards to amenities, service, and atmosphere. They exceed these hotels and make a distinctive mark with delivered breafast's, personal attention to needs, and fresh home-made desserts. They are in a convenient location to Sevierville and Pigeon Forge (less than 10 min.) but far enough away to feel secluded. So there is plenty to do in the area or nothing to do if you desire. We are already planning when we can visit again.

Our second stay was better than the first and the first stay was GREAT!!! The B&B to compare all others too. The full breakfast was the talk of everyone, especially the stuffed French toast. The hospitality, and friendliness are above all we've experienced. Sitting on the front porch listening to the frogs in the pond or viewing the well-kept grounds was relaxing beyond belief. It's hard to believe this country setting is just a few miles from all the action of Sevierville/Pigeon Forge. Thanks so much Norman, Sarah, Eric, Tony, Jason, and all the others! We will be back!!!

This is the B&B we compare all others against. This was our second stay here and it was incredible. The hospitality, friendliness, and food is above all else we've experienced. The grounds are kept very well. Despite being so close to the action in Sevierville/Pigeon Forge, you are in the country at this Inn. Thanks so much Norman, Sarah, Tony, Jason, and all the others!

We stayed here for our One year anniversary. It was our first experience with B&Bs and it was great. The home is beautiful, there are lots of things to look at. Or room was very nice, clean, and super comfy. Its extremely close to pigeon forge but you feel that you are out in the country. The breakfast was delicious too!!

We were married at the Inn in July 2006 and chose to come back for our one year anniversary this year. We know the owners better than most since we live right down the road from the Inn. The Inn represents the best in the area - people, location, view and food. The rooms are gorgeous and the cabins are private and like a home away from home.

We drove from TX to TN for our honeymoon. Blue Mountain Mist turned out to be the perfect place to stay. Our cottage was beautifully setup & decorated, was very romantic, and was spotless. Breakfasts were varied and all tasty! And the evening desserts? The only word to describe them is YUMMY! While the accomodations were just lovely, the best part was the service. EVERYONE bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and well cared for....it was just wonderful! Thank you very much & we'll see you next year!
