My spouse and I went here and had a WONDERFUL time. It was perfectly located, as it was in the adorable East Nashville but was only a $5 Uber straight into downtown. The rooms were adorable, the bed comfy, the bathtub SO nice, and Ellen was super responsive & sweet. We had a BLAST. 10/10!!

My daughter, niece & I stayed one night at The Big Bungalow we LOVED it!!!! Ellen greeted us at the front door like we were friends forever.... She gave us a tour of her beautiful home and explained everything to us. Our room was beautiful and spotless. After we got unpacked Ellen met us downstairs to give us the layout of the town and suggestions. The Listening Room was our favorite suggestion. Breakfast was ready when we came down... The quiche was great and fresh fruit w/yogurt and hand cut potatoes (hand cut potatoes!!!!!) coffee juice and we were off!!! Ellen you truly deserve a B&B award. Thank you for making my girls see that B&B's are not creepy. Lol they loved your place. Oh I almost forgot being my daughter is into art she loved all the art work on the main floor done by real people( Ellen's parents) better than any store bought junk! Thank you from Chicago. I just stayed here this past week for one night. I was in Nashville on a business trip. This place is great! It's in a cute, quiet neighborhood, full of old houses. There is safe off street parking with a locked gate. The house is beautiful inside and SO CLEAN! Cleaner than any hotel. I stayed in the Cozy Room (I was just one person) and it was perfect. It would be cute for a couple as well. I had my own bathroom. The room is decent sized and the bed was really comfy. The room also has cable tv which is nice. There is free wifi, so if you need to get some work done, no worries! The house is a 3$ Uber ride from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Music Row. So basically if you want to go out and listen to music at night (and have a drink!) you are a 2 minute and 3$ uber ride away. I went out and had a great time. There are Ubers everywhere btw! I found this place to be the perfect location. Ellen is really sweet and accommodating! She helped me find a great place to go out to. The other guests were also nice. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Everything is fresh and homemade. Coffee is plentiful! I really recommend staying here. I absolutely loved it and hope to go back sometime!

Innkeeper requested that we check in before 4-5PM because she was hosting party and would be busy. Innkeeper provided route to walk, but scenery was not good and suspicious characters prevalent. Finally, Innkeeper rushed us at breakfast and interrupted our conversation with other visitors to tell us "I'm going to need to swipe your cards"

This was among the best b&b experiences we've had. Ellen was a wonderful host, very accommodating and helpful in pointing out what to see in Nashville. The home was warm and cozy; breakfast was delicious; the bed was very comfortable. We really could not have asked for anything else...definitely hope to be back and spend more time here!

My children had given my husband & me BedandBreakfast.com gift cards for Christmas and we decided to use them in Nashville at The Big Bungalow to celebrate our anniversary. We got tickets to the Ryman to see Rhonda Vincent. Everything about our trip was wonderful, especially our stay at The Big Bungalow. We were minutes from downtown Nashville. There was a very nice restaurant just down the street with great food. The Big Bungalow is in a sweet neighborhood with easy parking. Ellen marked up a Nashville map for us so that we would be more comfortable getting around. We came and went as we pleased. Her B&B is clean and welcoming. Her breakfast was on time and filling. She even made us a breakfast dish with fresh peaches that we purchased at the local Farmer's Market, which is a must see. Thank you Ellen for making our visit / anniversary more special. We also loved sharing breakfast with your other guest from Denmark. Hopefully the good Lord will allow us another visit to Nashville and we would love to spend it at The Big Bungalow.
