Tennessee Dreamin'

4.6 on May 09, 2018

What a beautiful setting! A very helpful and attentive staff made sure we felt welcome. We enjoyed watching for eagles and bluebirds. The food at dinner was excellent and the breakfasts were great to get us going for the day. We hope to visit again soon.

Best place ever

Wonderful place for a romantic getaway

4.6 on May 04, 2018

My husband and I came to Whitestone Country Inn for our honeymoon. We both work a lot and did not have time for a long vacation, but came across this beautiful bed and breakfast during a Google search. We chose Whitestone due to amenities that were unfortunately unavailable during our stay (canoeing is seasonal and the massage therapist was not in town). However, this property had so much more to offer. We even booked an extra night after our first day because we loved it so much. It was a little bit more expensive than what we were wanting to spend, but it was worth it. We plan to go back for an anniversary in the future. The staff was so helpful and inviting and the service was extraordinary. We still talk about how we wish we had not needed to come home... it was unforgettable. I am glad that this was the honeymoon we chose. Being here allowed my husband and I to get quality time together that is hard to come by for us.. and we loved every second of it. We would both highly recommend the Whitestone Country Inn to anyone wishing to escape the stresses of every day life and spend quality time with a loved one. We will certainly be doing it again soon.

This is a lovely place to get away and relax. The setting is beautiful, our room was comfortable and the food was delicious. Once we arrived, we never left the property.

Beautiful retreat for the soul!

Whitestone was beautiful! The land, the lake, the rooms, the chapel. It was a great place to get away from it all and relax for a few days. I will definitely go again!

Its the best place for us to Relax, Renew, and the Re-Do!

peaceful setting

The inn is in a very peaceful setting. Staff is wonderful. Buildings, especially furnishings, are a bit tired and need some TLC. New owners may be doing that -- I hope. Food was disappointing. We had heard it wasn't as good as it used to be. Wouldn't eat there again.

Real rest and restoration in peaceful surroundings

My wife and I had 5 days at the Whitestone Inn. Fabulous food (coffee rubbed rib eye & Whitestone pie!), excellent service. Canoeing was lovely, herons and ducks everywhere. Hummingbirds outside the dining room window. An absolutely stunning view. We had a couples massage on premises. Took walks, read on balcony. Weather was really not very good, but it didn't make any difference to us and our experience. Will definitely return. Mike & Paula Hignite

This was our first visit to this delightful retreat inn. We have traveled the world and have not seen such a beautiful place with its surroudings eye-wondering views. Our children first came here a year ago and recommended Whitestone Country Inn.

We spent our Thanksgiving Day holiday here for two days. Our children "paid" for our dinner by surprising us with this treat. The day fed over 400 people without a hitch.. and the food was outstanding!! We highly recommend this "heavenly" place: very romantic, and very friendly. Paul and Jean the owners were also available to visit and show their warm hospitality. They are "pros"... thank you.
