Fully restored 1940's home with Southern charm, on four acres. A perfect place to relax, reflect and strengthen the body and soul! The historic Inn has a country setting in the city with today's amenities! It is close to business and services, but shielded from the highway by lots of trees and shrubs. The Inn is a wonderful place to renew relationships, celebrate anniversaries or special events, friends, business, church and social functions. We invite and encourage the business traveler with internet connection. There are four bedrooms (all with private baths) in the main house and three cottages, all furnished throughout with period antiques and deisgner reproductions. Convenient to shopping, hospital, downtown area, restaurants, golf, tennis, hiking, biking and other recreations.

My husband and I stayed 1 night as a little anniversary getaway. John was absolutely precious, super friendly, and very hospitable. The house itself is dated (built in 1948), which is part of the whole experience (from the aroma to furniture to decor). Overall, our room was clean as far as the shower, sink, commode, towels, sheets, carpet, etc. The cabinet was stocked with plenty of towels and extra toiletries. It was, however, more dusty than we'd prefer. Surface cleaning is apparent, but the blinds, corners, and window sills had some cobwebs and the bathroom window had some mold on it. We opened our room windows to have some fresh airflow, which made it better. We were the only 2 for breakfast, and it was great. We had blueberry pancakes, bacon, a bowl of fresh fruit (cantaloupe, strawberries, grapes, orange slices, grapefruit slices, fresh pineapple, honeydew slices, and kiwi), scrambled eggs, OJ, ice water, and coffee. The fruit was so fresh and so tasty! They checked on us occasionally, but allowed us to dine in private as well. Very hospitable, and again, John is just precious! Overall, it was a good experience. Oh, and we were the only guests staying that night, so John offered us the tour and allowed us to select whichever room we preferred despite our reservation. I thought that was a nice gesture.

As soon as John greeted us at the front door we felt at home. Just like we were visiting relatives. John and Anita are very gracious hosts. The room was very comfortable and immaculate. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

We truely enjoyed our time at the Luther's bed and breakfast. From the first greeting by John to the last goodbye we felt at home. The home is very warm in spirit and the food was especially good. Our room was perfect for our over night get away and the Luthers were so very kind in so many ways. We highly recommend staying at this home away from home!

We were told by a dear friend how wonderful East Hills is and we wanted to spend a weekend somewhere where we could totally relax and our friend was absolutely correct. There could not be nicer and more welcoming people than John and Anita and the cabin we stayed in was extra clean and comfortable. The breakfast was marvelous. If you want to be in a warm "homelike" environment make East Hills a place to visit.
