Yearly Family Vacation

4.2 on August 03, 2018

We love Rocky Point, this is the first time we stayed by the Malecón. Found the Dream Weaver Hotel in another site looked pretty good so we booked it. It’s kind of confusing cause one site said one thing and another site said something else. Example one site says breakfast was included and in another said it wasn’t even though it’s on a bed and breakfast site ¿¿. So didn’t know what to expect and there was no place to send a message and asked anyone until you get there. We stayed in room 2. It was very cute. Just the right size for 2 adults and 2 kids. We could of stayed at a bigger place for a little less and have easy acces to beach and a pool so price wise it was kind of expensive. But it is also right by the Malecón so you can walk to all the shops and restraunts However bed was a little hard, but if we needed to stay there again we probably would. It was quiet , clean and very friendly.

Bed. No breakfast.

A variety of rooms in the heart of Rocky Pointe. No breakfast. You get what you pay for. Landlord was as helpful as possible.

Great Place

4.0 on May 06, 2018

Upon arrival to Dream Weaver for our first stay in Rocky Point, we were delightfully impressed. The whole Inn is darling with south of the border flair. I agree with some reviews that the rooms are small....but don't you go to the beach to be at the beach and not in your room. The rooms are all equipped with the essentials needed to cook at home or to just keep your beverages cold for the relaxing moments on the patio's. Our room #3 was very cozy and the bed is even comfortable. We loved it here and the owner Diane is a lovely lady. We will positively be back to stay here and to visit Diane again, by the way she likes banana splits if your so inclined to bring her one. The rating scale wouldn't let me rate outstanding...that is what I would rate if I could. Great prices and great location, truly love this place.

Beyond Expectations

By far one of the best places we have stayed. Diane is a most gracias hostess. The rooms were very clean, bed was comfortable. The room included a kitchenette with dishes. What else could you ask for. Walking to the market area and restaurants is all within a couple of minutes. And, one block from Thrifty Ice Cream.... Yum....

Avoid Suite 7!

2.2 on October 27, 2017

We booked a 2-night stay at this property but left after 1 night. Suite 7 is VERY small -- we barely had room to turn around and not enough room for our luggage. (The onsite manager kindly let us leave the 2 largest bags in her apartment.) The shower is "integrated" into the bathroom: the shower head is on one wall and you draw the suspended curtains around you to shower. Obviously, any luggage on the floor needs to come out first or it will be soaked! There is a very small coffee maker, but it doesn't brew coffee, just heats water for instant. The micro-fridge and microwave are in a cupboard in the wall and awkward to access. Finally, the head of the bed is set into an alcove so that there is an overhand over your head. My husband sat up after falling asleep and hit his head squarely, causing it to bleed and leaving a quarter-sized scab. There is no onsite, off-street parking, and the curb in front of the property is painted red for n parking. The narrow stairwell to the second and third floors was not secured at night. There was no breakfast. I never had an internet connection, but my husband did get online for slow speeds. The mini-split air conditioner worked well. This room might work for a quick weekend from Arizona if you're traveling light. But honestly, I didn't see anything about the area ("old" Puerto Penasco) to recommend the property. The malecon is just a few blocks long, the beach is all rocks, and the streets and clubs are full of hawkers. IF we go back, we'll stay at one of the resorts on the sandy beaches. PS: I submitted a complaint and a request for a refund for the 2nd night on Friday, October 20, 2017; as of Friday, October 27, I have yet to hear from management.

This is our 3d stay and unfortunately the last one.this is mainly because my husband is a big clumbsy guy and the various levels in the rooms are hard for him the room6 we stayed in was not very clean this time and the tv remote is broken.the washer and dryer ran day and night.its a cute place but sorry we're done

A Great Place

4.6 on September 03, 2017

Always try to get the biggest room that is on the second floor. The others are good too but that one is by far the best. Some are very small, good for 1 or 2 people for a short time that don't spend time in their room. The stairs are the only rough items that are not good for any handicapped persons. Spiral and small but the patio is great on the second floor. Dogs are allowed which is fantastic as well. Everything was included in our room, coffee maker with coffee, creamer, sugar. Microwave, all kinds of plates, wine glasses, even martini glasses, along with can opener, and utensils and plenty of silverware as well. Just like a furnished apartment. Full sized fridge and freezer as well. A all over great place to hang out and chill in the heart of Rocky Point.

Just a Dreamland
