Glenaladale is situated at the side of Loch Eriboll,a sea Loch on the north west coast of Scotland.It is 10 miles from Durness and the famous Cape Wrath lighthouse, the most North westerly part of the UK mainland. Ben Hope (the most northern Munro) can be viewed from the house.This is a popular area for walkers and people interested in nature.Donnie and Katie both play traditional Scottish music and often play for the guests. If you play music you are welcome to bring your instrument and have a tune with us.

From Inverness follow A9 north to a sign that says Skiach services and tourist route to Bonar bridge, the road is the B9176 At the end of this road turn left on to the A836, pass Ardgay, Bonar Bridge and Lairg. Aproximatley 5 miles outside Lairg you will see the sign to Tongue the road is still the A836 At the end of this road turn left and carry on through Tongue the road is the A838. Drive for another 20 miles and you will be at Glenaladale.There is a large green B+B sign at the gate. From Scrabster or Gills Bay take the A836 to Tongue then the A838 to Glenaladale We are 20 miles west of Tongue and 10 miles east of Durnes.s. From Ullapool take the A835 to Durness,we are 10miles east of Durness the area is Laid.
