We stayed at The Cuthbert House Inn early May 2018 and our stay was perfect. The Ballroom was beautiful, quiet, with a comfortable king bed and in room thermostat. The service was friendly and breakfast just right without taking hours to complete, excessive amounts of food, or excessive sugar. This was our best Bed and Breakfast experience ever.
We appreciate your kind words. We believe that breakfast is half the experience of staying in a bed and breakfast. We have an alternating menu of savory and sweet dishes. We try to ensure that our guests have something different each day of their stay. It might be Orange-blueberry pancakes with Grand Marnier syrup or Eggs Benedict and Roasted Asparagus. We like for our guests to start their day off with plenty of energy for exploring all that Beaufort has to offer!

The Cuthbert House Inn is situated so nicely in Beaufort, that you can sit on the beautiful porch and view the harbor, then walk to dinner, the shopping area, and to the Historic Point. The breakfast was scrumptious, the room was lovely, and the owner, Pierre, very welcoming and helpful.
Thank you. We feel so fortunate that our home looks out over the water and is still within walking distance of everything that makes Beaufort such a great small town! In fact, 7 of our 10 guest rooms and our own apartment have water views! The 3 rooms that don't look over the bay have views of our Charleston-style courtyard with its Spanish moss draped live oak and babbling fountain.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for our sister trip. The room was spacious and clean with all the little extras such as water bottles in the refrigerator. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff very friendly.

Wonderful in every way. Really nice wine and snacks each evening too and enjoying talking with other guests and the innkeepers. Everything was so nice and they made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend.
Thank you so much for your review. We really love the social hour too. Every evening at 5pm we get to stop what we're doing and sit down to enjoy pleasant conversation with our guests.

Beautiful old southern home with large clean rooms, warm friendly hosts and staff. We visited and enjoyed wine every evening on the expansive front porch with other guests as we watched spectacular sunsets over the bay. Easy walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops.Breakfasts each morning were equally incredible. We would return here when we visit beautiful Beaufort the next time.

My wife and I stayed here for a Valentines weekend. This room was great, the shower was OUTSTANDING and the location is amazing. We parked our car and walked everywhere all weekend.
Thank you so much! We do benefit from being close to all the restaurants, shops, art galleries and museums of the downtown, yet we are in a calm neighborhood.

This room is a bright king tucked away on the East side of the house. It is a great mix of old and new with 19th century charm and 21st century amenities. It has a very large private bathroom with a two person rain shower and lots of space to add to a comfortable stay.
