Low Country Lovely!

4.8 on November 17, 2017

We had two rooms for the duration of our visit, both were lovely and comfortable. It was Marine Graduation Week for our son, so we were running back & forth to Parris Island quite a bit. The trips there and back went quickly, most 10 minutes and under. The Inn breakfasts were delicious. Karuth & Jim, the inn-sitters, were awesome. We had a few special requests that they accommodated graciously. One evening Karuth made a scratch cake of pecans and other yumminess and shared with the guests. What a treat! I would definitely recommend to others and book again. The 4 star for the room was because the desk lamp didn't work, and it takes a bit of finagling to get the toilet not to run. Very minor items. I did not report them to the inn-sitters, because it didn't bother me that much. I'm easy to get along with : ) Thanks for a pleasurable stay!

So beautiful!

What a lovely get away. I will definitely be back. The Inn sittters were so awesome and so friendly to my 6 year old daughter. My husband forgot his charger and they mailed it right away. So nice The house is really neat too and you cant beat the view!!

relaxing water views

We needed a quite and relaxing place for a few days and that is what we got. The inn sits on a beautiful location on the inlet water way of Beaufort. It was quite and peaceful for afternoon sitting to just relax or talking with new friends. If you like a lived in type bed and breakfast this is what you are looking for. The décor is not stuffy but due to the owners passion for collecting very interesting things there is lots to see and everything is interesting. We enjoyed the owner and stories she told.

The Best Bed and Breakfast Ever!!

My stay at this Bed and Breakfast was Awesome! I felt I was at home! My family had a home cooked breakfast, sat at the table with the owner as it was a family breakfast! Our table over looked the Beautiful water as the sun was rising, What a site and relaxing feeling! We sat in the living room as a family with the owner and felt like home! Everything was to our expectations and more! Thank you a million! Miss it already!!

Charming, Rustic, & Classy B & B

5 on August 20, 2015

We recently enjoyed this very unique, slightly rustic but charming B & B for 4 nights and we couldn't have found a better place for what we needed. The owner & hostess was truly amazing at what she does and we found her to be very friendly and very interesting. We enjoyed her stories of her many travels all over the world. We enjoyed meeting her dear & precious granddaughter & her daughter & son-in-law. We enjoyed meeting the other guests and especially sharing the most most amazing & delicious breakfasts that she baked from scratch. She shared with us some of her favorite places to visit & restaurants to try. We were not disappointed at all & will definitely come back again........Rick & Susanne

Peaceful Retreat

Beaulieu is lovely, clean, quiet; the owner is very nice, helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We had dinner the night before at a nearby Golf Club; the food was very good and service was excellent. Tip: Ignore the directions on the Beaulieu House website. Since most use GPS these days, likely you would use that. We do not as we both really like maps. Just beware of the posted directions. A major step is missing. A combo of 'google map & directions' and a SC map or book of maps should help.

The rooms were large and very comfortable. The welcome (with a drink/conversation with others) outstanding. The location on the water beyond our wildest hopes. A real find. The Golf Clubhouse restaurant was less than a five minute walk and was "way up there".

Very comfortable accommodations in a pleasant setting

The B&B is located on the water within a new golf course community. A nice location for walking. Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the water. The staff was courteous and very helpful. For the price, I expected more from breakfast - at least some consideration for our dietary preferences.
