The pictures online were obviously taken during better days. Arrived to find out that they don't have breakfast even though the website claims they do. I spoke to manager who said he could do nothing about it. When we got to the room, there was a chair outside the room with an ashtray filled with stinky cigarette butts. The room was clean, however, their was a dump rid bag hanging in the room and it was obvious that there had been a leak of some kind. We were getting ready for bed and a mouse entered the room from under the door jam. My boyfriend scared it away but when I mentioned it to the manager the next morning he said "are you sure it wasn't a baby squirrel?" ??? You mean you know you have a squirrel problem?

There was no service. Getting clean or enough towels was not easy. We ran out of toilet paper and no one brought more for us, even after calling. There was supposed to be breakfast included, but there was nothing offered. Not even coffee.

Having used Bedandbreakfast.com before it was a shock that this place is one that you offer/advertise. The good .... room was big, cable service had a full assortment of options, and as a last minute venture to the beach, they had availability. Now I know why. I believe we were one of two people occupying the whole place in the middle of one of the busiest summer weeks. Dimly lit rooms, mis-matched old furniture, bed linens that were fraying and stained. Half used toilet paper rolls stacked up on the dispenser. TWO bath towels even though I booked 3 people into the place. Booked 2 nights, stayed 1. Creepy place.

It did not provide a breakfast, so why under a B and B I don't know.

This is NOT a bed and Breakfast. It is a typical beach motel on a highway. There is no onsight dining (there appeared to be at one time a restaurant - but it is now a vacant building). Room was large - but musty. Anyone with allergies - beware. Inkeeper accomodating an pleasant. Towels/linens/blankets old and cheap. If you are looking for a place to lay your heads while going to the beach - it is fine. Rooms large and full size refrigerator. However - would not recommend for anything else.

The Windswept Inn is located near great public beaches and has easy access to nearby destinations. Rooms are clean and comfy.

The service was terrible. We made reservations and were told they could accommodate a late check-in by the manager. When we arrived, there was no one to check us in. We had to wait over an hour in the parking lot at 11pm with a very tired 2 year old until they could find a worker to check us in. The worker was very nice once we found him. We were told we would be compensated for our troubles with a discounted rate but at check out was told the owner decided he couldn't do anything for us. Bad customer service. Rooms were dirty. Shower and bathroom were not cleaned and had dirt in plain sight. Sheets had hair on them and sand. Price is cheap but don't expect quality.

I will definitely stay there again. But this time I will make plans to do more of a breakfast myself as they have a refrigerator and small kitchen in the suites. Nothing to cook with but could do a cold breakfast something perfect for me and my girlfriend like fresh fruit and cottage cheese.
