We stayed with our cousins on a Saturday and Sunday night during the Newport seafood festival . Perfect location . Everything was a short walk away . Parking at condo was excellent . First time in Newport and before we even left we were making our plans to come back again . Can't say enough about our stay ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿

Room was large and clean, very comfortable for four adults. Comfy beds and pillows. Bathroom was clean but could use a new toilet seat. Monique and Joyce in the kitchen were very pleasant and accommodating to our needs. Front desk was knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed sitting on the porch with morning coffee. Short walk into town but still a peaceful quiet location. Mini fridge was a bonus! Great location to bicycle from!

Stayed at the Black Duck Inn and was greeted right away by who I assume is the primary caretaker of the Inn - found out she was also the one who cleaned all the rooms. Rooms were spotless and the linens were nicely in place, with a nice arrangement of towels, shampoos, and soaps. Things were cleaned perfectly by the time my girlfriend and I came back after along day out in Newport. As for the food, considering it was my first bed and breakfast, the breakfasts were cutely arranged and freshly made, and tasted wonderful. Complimentary cookies were also pretty fantastic to come back to :)

Lovely rooms, but check the amount of stairs that might be involved. Nice breakfast room with one choice of hot breakfast each day made by lovely people and many cold food choices. Went out of their way to be helpful to us at check - in and we really appreciated everything. Would stay again, and highly recommend.

My daughters and I had a two night stay at The Black Duck Inn. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and made us yummy breakfast as well as having home made cookies available when we came in a night. It was a perfect mix of friendliness and privacy. I will never stay at a hotel again! It was in walking distance of the historic distric, restaurants, and shopping.
