We stayed 7 nights in this wonderful, gay friendly,l B and B. Geraldine is a great hostess and excellent cook. She is friendly and helpful and knows the City of Montreal and the history of Quebec inside and out. The "room" is actually a suite with a bedroom, kitchen (fully equipped), a small sitting area with a fireplace and a private bathroom. It is in a completely restored and very well maintained heritage home and is decorated tastefully. The emphasis is on privacy and comfort. The dining room is also "antique" and is a wonderful place to eat the substantial, healthy and excellently prepared and presented breakfasts. The suite has a private entrance and opens out to a back yard garden. Parking and good Wifi are free. It is located 1.5 blocks from the Metro so it is easy to get anywhere from the BandB. We loved our stay and will be back for sure. Great value and a perfect place to stay.

The picture on the Internet did not do this place justice. It is even more wonderful than it appears. We came here after a cruise from Boston and could not be more pleased. Geraldine is delightful and the place is perfect. Our cab driver told us we had made a mistake by not staying closer to the port. I don't think so. We are within walking distance of wonderful restaurants and the metro. We have not only a bedroom, but a small kitchen, a sitting room, and a beautiful, peaceful garden. Geraldine served us a delicious breakfast each morning. Excellent place for a very reasonable price. I look forward to our next visit to Montreal and The Grove on Coursol.

This B&B was a great find. Quiet, great suite, comfortable, beautiful garden and great host. The breakfast was wonderful as well. This is an ideal location for a romantic getaway. The metro is super convenient and easy (and free) parking on street.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. It was like having our own little apartment, with lot's of privacy, a very comfortable bed, beautiful garden and spotlessly clean. Geraldine was a great hostess and served a fantastic breakfast each morning with fresh fruit, yogart, fancy breads and your choice of eggs, bacon etc. The location could not be beat, in a very pretty, quiet part of Montreal, close to the Metro and parking available. We would never consider staying anywhere else in Montreal.

As newlyweds we were looking for an affordable place to stay in one of the best cities in the world, Montreal. We did not know what a treat we had waiting for us at The Grove on Coursol! Everything everyone said about the B&B is true, and Geraldine helped make our honeymoon absolutely perfect! The only drawback is this B&B is so awesome, you might have to plan your trip around the availability of the apartment, as it gets booked many, many months in advance. Plan ahead! There is no other place you should consider, Also, meat-eaters, make sure you try the creton. Yum! Younger folks should swing by the Hostel International, just a few blocks away. Geraldine beats their prices, but you can make some pretty cool friends! Miss you Montreal, and Geraldine! Greg & Kerry June 13th - June 18th 2012

This B&B offers a unique combination of hospitality and privacy in a beautifully decorated house. You immediately feel at home and Geraldine's personality increases that feeling. We loved breakfast time and not only the food but also the great conversations!
