Delightful stay

4.8 on September 17, 2018

We had a delightful three days. Susan did an excellent job subbing for Robert. We were conveniently located for many attractions. Enjoyed doing the jigsaw puzzles in the evening.

Beautiful place!

We stayed 3 nights here and had a wonderful time. The breakfast was outstanding and we loved the extra touches such as fresh cookies, drinks, candy and fruit included in the room price and available any time of the day. The entire place was immaculate. If I had one complaint it would be our room was on the front and we had a bit of traffic noise. I would most certainly recommend this place and would stay again if I return to this area.

Lovely B&B

We stayed at After Eight B & B for the first time this year. We were so pleased with our accommodations and our breakfast was outstanding. Robert was so pleasant and witty. A very charming place and host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to come back on our next visit.

The best Days were spent with you..

4.8 on September 04, 2018

We were so happy to spend our time away at the After Eight B&B again. Always a delightful visit, with a great host who makes great breakfasts! A beautiful house to stay in, with every detail taken care of. Couldn't want for more - a warm, comfortable, inviting spot in beautiful country. Just hold our room, Robert - we'll be back. Best Wishes, Estelle & Ernie

It's all in the details!

We love Robert's After Eight! We have been there twice. I feel as if I'm repeating what others wrote, but I must. Gorgeous room. Wonderful water pressure in the shower. The towels were extremely soft, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Robert's gift of hospitality shone. Nothing will keep us away next year, though the truck noise on Friday night was annoying (we were in a front room) and I wish the towels were the really, really, really big ones.

Weekend Get-a-way

This Bed and Breakfast was fantastic! We enjoyed everything about it- the host, the room, the vibes, and the food! We will definitely return!!

Another wonderful stay

4.8 on August 27, 2018

This was our second visit to After Eight in the last few years. For this visit, my husband and I booked three rooms. One for my parents, one for my brother and the last for us. Everyone had a memorable time. My family's first comments were about how well-maintained the rooms were, how generous the host was, and the cleanliness of the property. During our two-day stay, we were able to do the recommended activities and dine at the recommended restaurants that Robert, the innkeeper, suggested. Every recommendation was fantastic. The bed and breakfast is ideally located on the highway, which is great for all of the excursions during the day but might be loud at night when the trucks go by for people who aren't used to being by busy roads. I brought earplugs and I was able to sleep through the night. The website is a good representation of rooms, though they are even nicer in person. We will be visiting again in the near future.
