Anniversary Weekend

3.8 on November 30, 2017

We have been coming here for 31 years. Hickory Bridge was my first B&B and it was for our 1st wedding anniversary. I loved it and although I've stayed at many B&B's since then it has always been my first love. We are now seeing the third generation of the family moving in to operate the B&B. They are always making improvements yet keeping the original flavor of decor. No wi/fi and no cable tv is wonderful. And Gettysburg is a short distance away for history buffs.

Cottage 1 Hickory Bridge

Our overnight stay was a wonderful experience. The accommodations far exceeded our expectations. One of the cleanest & well equipped rooms we have stayed in. A truly delightful stay and we look forward to a future visit. The owners & staff made us feel welcome and made sure we felt at home & like family. Be sure to indulge in an evening meal as the food & service will keep U coming back again & again.

Friendliest B&B

Everyone was so nice and the cottage was so peaceful with wildlife running around everywhere and sitting on the porch in the evening listening to the stream. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. I'll definitely be coming back next year.

Breakfast everyday was amazing! Thankful for nice weather so we could eat on the back deck was an extra bonus!! Also we stayed Monday through Wednesday and they even offered the option of joining them for dinner because they were hosting a big group and was able to add us in to the side, exceptional service!!!

Great place

This is a great place to eat and stay. Staff was friendly cabins and rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was delicious that was provided in the restaurant on the farm. The property is family owned and they take a lot of pride to make sure you are taken care of. Chris Burke

A rural treasure

I have always loved the food at the family style barn, but the room accommodations are fantastic, romantic and beautifully appointed. No one could be disappointed. It has the atmosphere of a rural farm resort but nothing is old and nothing is broken and Gettysburg is 20 minutes away.

My stay at hickory bridge

Had a wonderful time the food was great. Service was very great. We loved the people there take very good care of you. The restaurant food and service was amazing. We will be going back again. Stayed in the cabin it was cool the one night so we made a fire in the fireplace drank some wine and watched a movie.

Fantastic discovery

We have always enjoyed dinner at Hickory Bridge, small parties and large, but now I have enjoyed a weekend stay in a cottage. Cannot wait to find a reason to return. The restaurant, shop, living room/lounge/deck, cottages and overall grounds make for a charming, genuinely rural and relaxing facility.

Awesome

First class B&B at a very reasonable price. Staff was terrific, breakfast and the affiliated restaurant was just as good. Sits in a quiet country setting about 10 minutes from most of the Gettysburg battlefield attractions and 5 minutes from some of the best wine produced in Pennsylvania.
