I recently stayed at the Cameron for a wedding. The wedding was beautiful! The venue for the ceremony was quite lovely. The same with the reception hall. It was big enough to accommodate all of the guests and allowed for an enjoyable evening. What I do find fault with is the actual stay at the inn. I stayed on the third floor. My room was small and nothing to write home about. When I addressed the size and appearance of the room with the manager, they said that the third floor rooms were discounted and I got what I paid for. I wrote a check for three different rooms and they were all very different. Only mine was the smallest with the least amount of amenities. That and when I did check out the other third floor rooms, they seemed a lot roomier than mine. Also, I don't know if anyone was aware, but there was a half filled bottle of vodka in my dresser. Whether it belonged to a former guest or a housekeeper doesn't matter. What matters is that it was in there. What I was more disappointed in was the way the breakfast was run. Since when do the guests not have a say into what they're eating for breakfast? Not once did someone ask about dietary restrictions. Secondly, for the amount of the people that stayed at the inn, you would think that the innkeepers would have opened up the additional dining room to accommodate everyone. The manager told me that he/she didn't expect extra people from other hotels to show up, but I didn't notice any extra bodies that morning. I had to wait for a table to be cleaned for 10 minutes. Then, I was told multiple times that someone would be right with me to take my order. I literally had to track someone down to get their attention. I just think for the amount of notice the inn had for the wedding, it could have been better prepared. While the wedding was beautiful and I'm so pleased with how things turned out, I don't think this will be my first stop the next time I'm the Lancaster area.

This was a nice Inn, we stayed in Rm 24. The Inn/Room was clean, the Restaurant was a nice touch. The dinner was good, fair price and portions. The view from the dining room on the porch was very nice, hostess was friendly and the waitress was great. The breakfast was good but I would only rate it a 3-4, no bread or toast was available. If you want Wi-Fi in your room do not get this one as it was weak to no signal. The Inn needs some attention, the grout needs to be repaired, the faucet handles were old and not very good, the aerator was missing in the sink, the carpet needs to be stretched in the hall and on the stairway as it is buckling. The outside needs some attention, in the peak on the side of the house it is very dirty and stained. I would stay again and one of the nicest features is the "Last minute" option was you can get the rooms at a reduced price.

We stayed for two nights at the Cameron Estate Inn and it was wonderful! The room was very nice and the house and grounds were incredibly well maintained. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and relaxing on the porch. John and Randy were excellent hosts and John’s breakfast offerings were not only unique but were delicious. Our dinner package was a delight as well and we all enjoyed the meal. We have travelled extensively in the US and stayed in many B&Bs and I highly recommend Cameron Estate Inn and give it FIVE STARS!

My husband and I stayed at the Cameron Estate Inn for 6 nights in late May 2011. It's a beautiful place and I hope to be able to return someday. Everyone there was wonderful, very eager to meet every need or request. The Inn is charming. Breakfast was great, each morning. I can't recommend the Cameron Estate Inn more. You won't regret staying there.

We knew that the Cameron Inn was supposed to be a wonderful, quiet place to stay but were extremely pleased with how wonderful the staff was as well! Stacy, especially, was extremely helpful and accommodating, going out of her way to give assistance, as my husband was there early to set up to play at a wedding. The service and beautiful, quiet rooms made for a really wonderful weekend away!

My family and I look forward to returning to the Cameron Estate each summer. It's a beautiful, warm and inviting home. The rooms are quaint and very clean, as is the rest of the inn. My daughter would love to get married at the inn one day!

As we approached the first anniversary of my father's death, my mother and sisters wanted to get together for a little family time. We came from different locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Georgia and met at the Inn on Friday night. Our rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. The restaurant served a delicious dinner and breakfast, and we were treated wonderfully the whole weekend. The coffee and desserts were especially delightful. The grounds were beautiful even though many of the leaves had already dropped from the trees. It was quiet and elegant, but close to great shopping. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The owners and staff were very attentive and responsive to all our needs. A special thank you to Randy and John for being the most gracious hosts ever!

When we booked our family get-together at Cameron Estate Inn, I knew it was a "nice" place. But I had no idea how "wonderful" it really is! Everything - from the rooms, decor, food, staff, environment - was exemplary. We felt so special and were treated as highly valued guests. The owners and innkeepers went out of their way to make our weekend perfect. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

If you are looking for a place to get away from the distractions of life, this is your destination. Highlights WELCOME. Randy provided a warm welcome, offered to assit in any way possible and encouragd us to make ourselves at home. Translation, we were encouraged to look around the inn and explore any unoccupied rooms, ask questions and relax. FOOD. The food was excellent (thanks John). An added benefit to eating on site...ability to enjoy more than one (authentic) Long Island Iced Tea. ROOMS. Spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean. SUGGESTIONS. Bring your best friend(a game, a good book and favoret snack or two). Do not expect to be entertained by the staff. PRIVACY. Respecting guest's privacy appears to be foremost on the innkeepers minds. Dont mistake this "not so common" behaviour for indifference. We apprciated knowing that if we needed anything or had an emergency, someone was on-site and avaialbe 24 x 7. Simon Cameron Room (#26) - The private retreat of the Estate's namesake, the Simon Cameron Room is located in the oldest part of the mansion and is one of the largest rooms in the Inn. The room features a 10-piece Italian bedroom suit dating from the 1860's. The king size bed overlook the original built-in cabinetry and fireplace. The large private bath with tub/shower combination features a once hidden fireplace! The room has commanding views of the front lawn, the Estate's woods and trout streams, as well as glimpses of the historic Donegal Church and Spring through the trees
