Arrived at Airy Hill and greeted by Hazel and Mark. You could tell right away that they were good people with a very tidy B&B. The room was very clean and spacious. No problems whatsoever. Breakfast was excellent with something for everyone. The farm and other amenities just add to the experience. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the area.

We loved our visit to Airy Hill Farm Bed & Breakfast. The accommodations were cozy, comfortable, quaint and clean. Mark & Hazel's hospitality was both gracious and warm. We felt welcome and enjoyed their beautiful home tremendously. The breakfasts were great and the homemade treats were a welcoming addition in the evenings. We highly recommend their bed & breakfast and plan on returning.

We stayed one night at Airy Hill Bed and Breakfast with our toddler and infant. Mark and Hazel were warm and friendly hosts. The place was very kid-friendly - there were toys our toddler was happy playing with, a pack and play for our infant to sleep in and a tour of the farm with a wagon ride and lots of ways for our toddler to participate. She "led" the mini-ponies around, collected eggs from the chickens and fed the sheep. The breakfast was delicious and worth staying at the bed and breakfast in and of itself. Even my picky toddler enjoyed it. I think this farm would be appealing to couples without kids as well - scenic, quiet and private rooms. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a fantastic time at Airy Hill B&B. Hazel and Mark were amazing hosts, couldn't be friendlier or more hospitable. Breakfast is absolutely delicious, and so much fun to eat with other guests, and with Hazel & Mark. Mark took us on a tour of the farm after breakfast where we got to feed and walk the animals (they even have mini horses and alpacas!), and we left with some fresh eggs from their chickens! We were traveling as a couple but I can imagine this place to be a lot of fun with young children. Highly recommended if you are looking for a true country experience in the Lancaster area.

We recently stayed at Airy Hill Farm B&B and had the best time. My 2 kids were not looking forward to staying at a farm converted into a B&B but that turned out to be the highlight of their trip! They fed the sheep, collected eggs from the chicken coop, walked the alpacas and mini horses, played with bunnies and played at the creek!

What a find! Hazel and Mark have created an incredibly welcoming, friendly and comfortable home away from home. We had so much fun and learned a lot about the area too, which was a nice bonus.

We went a little out of our way to stay at this B&B because of the reviews--was absolutely worth it. Pulled up and the kids could explode out of the car and run and play. They fell in love with the animals and the hosts were genuinely interested in letting them enjoy themselves and just be kids. The place was spotless--cleaner than any hotel feels. Would go out of my way again to stay here anytime. Breakfast was delicious, catering to both kid-tastes and adults. Owner even found and mailed a stuffed animal my daughter left behind before I realized it was missing!

Brought my kids here for 3 nights and they didn't want to leave. Each morning starts with a fabulous home cooked breakfast served family style and then a farm tour to hang out with the animals. Grounds are beautiful and there's a sport court and swing set. Hazel and Mark made us feel instantly at home and were a wealth of information on the area throughout our stay. Nice distance to local attractions with the added benefit of being able to retreat to the quiet after a long day of sightseeing. Already thinking of when we can get back!

This was our second stay at the Airy Hill B&B. The second you walk in you feel like you are at home. Our kids (ages 3 and 6) love it. There is so much for them to do and explore. They love going around the farm in the morning with Mark. The food is always delicious! It is an awesome place and I am glad we found it! We hate to leave but look forward to the next time :)

I would not have looked for a B&B with three kids but this was perfect and actually catered to families with children. It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do, but best of all we really enjoyed the farm animals - the girls got to gather eggs, feed the sheep, and walk the miniature horses and alpacas every morning. I would definitely recommend this to others and would stay again if we visit that area!

My husband and I have brought our twin grandchildren to Airy Hill Farm for the past five years. They are currently 12 and have not outgrown the desire to return next summer for their 6th year. I have referred several friends and their grandchildren and all are equally pleased. The owners are delightful people, the breakfasts are outstanding, the home and surroundings are lovely and the farm tour is always a hit with kids and adults alike. I can't imagine not falling in love with Airy Hill Farm.

Our 2nd stay at Airy Hill was as delightful as our first thanks to the wonderful owners and beautiful property.
5 on May 13, 2015
We had a lovely stay in the Meadow Suite - we had the whole second floor to ourselves and my daughter slept comfortably in the room adjacent to ours. Mark & Hazel are wonderful hosts - the food was delicious, they provided drinks and snacks throughout our stay, answered any questions we had about the area, and Mark took the children on a ride around the property to feed and greet their many farm animals. My daughter loved exploring the farm and the playground too, as well as the books and toys inside the house. A peaceful, beautiful place to stay!

This is our second visit with Hazel and Mark, two very nice people. We really like staying there when visiting "Amish country". They go out of their way to make you feel right at home, and will assist in helping you with your local exploring. We both like animals, and since its a farm, there are critters to see and feed. We had stayed in this B&B over the summer and enjoyed it so much we returned with friends in October. Great place for families or couples wanting a nice relaxing night away from it all. Beautiful scenery and outdoor hot tub!

We stayed at Airy Hill for two night and it was great. Beautiful house, farm and great food. I loved the scones and strawberry freezer jam. It was nice getting to know Mark and Hazel as well as the other guest. Loved it so much we are planning on going back soon!

We had such a great time on the farm. The second we walked up to the door we felt at home. The food was delicious! My kids, ages 5 and 2.5, had such a great time helping with the animals. They also just loved running around the property. We are going to try and go back next year!

The stay at Airy Hill Farm B&B is the most relaxing and refreshing places to stay on the planet! The owners and caregivers are personable, accommodating and just plain pleasant to be around. The accomodations were beautiful and made you feel at home. I would rate my stay as an Outstanding 5 rating!

This was a comfortable and clean place with friendly hosts. There is a nice common area and a lot of space outside to walk and explore. It is quiet and cozy. And it is conveniently near Amish country. I wish we could have stayed longer.

This is our family's fourth trip to Airy Hill Farm. As we plan the summer, our grandchildren always want to know how many days we can stay at Airy Hill this year. Hazel and Mark are such warm hosts. The accommodations are great and the breakfast is always superb. We always meet other interesting families staying there. It is a wonderful oasis in the country.

Our family of five stayed at Airy Hill B&B for a stay-cation. We spent one night at this local farm and fell in love with everything! Our girls loved the garden room with the special tree house bunk bed. We loved picking wild raspberries together as a family. We loved visiting all the animals in the morning and helping to gather eggs, feed the sheep, pet the bunny, walk the alpacas and the mini-horses! The breakfast was DELICIOUS and prepared with fresh ingredients. And of course we loved Hazel and Mark, as they welcomed us into their home with warm smiles and great conversation.

This is a very clean contemporary house. The food is very good, and the owners are generous with constantly available tea, coffee, snacks sodas etc. They are also ready and willing to set you up with amish folks in the area for an authentic experience. (We did not have time to partake.) The defining attraction would be the small farming operation that is on the property. For all intensive purposes it is an alpaca, goat/sheep/pony petting zoo. This would be a great place for families, etc for that purpose.

The hosts were so congenial & helpful.

My husband and I recently spent 1 night, May 12th at Mark and Hazel's and it was everything the reviews say and more. We can't wait to go back in Oct. Along with another B and B we frequent once a year, they are the most welcoming hosts and make you feel right at home from the minute you walk in. I will always cherish the one quest there that prayed with me and hugged me as the tears flowed because I was telling her how ill my Mom was and how we were leaving to go see her in the hospital. She called the tears liquid love, because of the love I have for my mother. I will always, always cherish that moment for as long as I live as my Mom went home to Jesus on May 17th, 2011. When we go in Oct. we'll get to spend 2 nights there because 1 night is just not enough. Now we're just counting down the months until Oct. To everyone visiting enjoy your stay, you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I planned a 3-day trip to explore the Amish country. We wished that we had planned for more time to stay on this lovely farm with Mark and Hazel. Everything exceeded our expectations and it was a place where we let go of our imagination. You won't be disappointed whether you're an animial lover, a food lover or a people explorer.

Mark and Hazel Nestleroth were warm, helpful and friendly. After a very short time with them, it felt like we were old friends. The inn is very lovely. Guests can decide how much solitude they want- the rooms are spacious and well-appointed and the common areas are large, comfortable and inviting. Magnificent country views and a lovely property to explore round out the experience. The food was plentiful, interesting, and delicious. We were lucky enough to be the only guests staying when we were there and the hosts sat down to breakfast with us, adding to the family feel. A well-stocked drink and snack fridge added to the homey feel. Highy recommended!

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing two days at Airy Hill Farms. Clean, spacious rooms, friendly hosts, and terrific food in a lovely rural setting.

The farm is such a pleasure and has so much to see, we didn't need to drag the little ones to any of the (fine) area attractions. Hazel and Mark were instantly like old friends, but they have a wonderfully professional operation as well. The animals, the scenery and just relaxing with our hosts and fellow guests made Airy Hill completely worth the journey. B. Wisse and family

Innkeepers Mark and Hazel are very welcoming-they're so friendly you want to hug them upon arrival! They are sociable hosts and are happy to share their knowledge of the local area and provide recommendations. They are a true team and make you feel completely welcome in their home. What else would you expect from a couple whose been together since their high school days?! Highly recommended!

Two beautiful spring days at Airy Hill Farm! A real farm experience shared by this amazing couple who once farmed these fields! They graciously share their experience, provide lovely accommodations, great food, and love of farm animals. Fresh eggs for the best scrambled eggs I've ever eaten!!! Hazel and Mark also share the Heifer International story about how livestock and training change lives from hunger and poverty to prosperity around the world! A great experience along with global education!!!! A wonderful opportunity for adults and children of all ages! Jan West Schrock, Senior Advisor for Heifer International.

Stayed 2 nights at Airy Hill Farm B&B for business meetings with hosts Mark and Hazel. Airy Hill Farm is the perfect getaway (with or without children) with lots to do on the farm as well as in the area. Breakfast was wonderful! I am only sorry that I my schedule didn't permit me time to see more of the farm and to visit the chickens to collect my own breakfast eggs! I can't wait to visit Mark and Hazel again!

Our stay at Airy Hill Farm in June was just wonderful. Airy Hill combines all the best elements of a traditional B&B and a Farm Stay in a relaxed package with none of the rigidity you may experience at either. The Nestleroth’s are warm and friendly hosts and made our family feel right at home. Both my husband and I and our children enjoyed spending time with them. They manage to give you their full attention without being at all intrusive of your privacy. The house is spacious and sparkling clean and the beautifully maintained property is in the heart of farm country. We spent most of our days at Hersheypark but couldn’t wait to get back to the comfort of the farm in the evening – it was well worth the 25 minute drive as opposed to staying at some drab chain hotel in Hershey. The breakfast was filling and delicious and Hazel was quite accommodating to our needs and tastes. We look forward to going back and spending some quality time at the farm!

Both my wife, Linda, and I were very pleased with Hazel and Mark's welcoming philosophy, we felt as though we were part of their family. I wanted to experience a different B&B, one that related to the Lancaster life of farming and this was it. The sheep, Alpacas, and the chickens, which provided fresh eggs for breakfast each day, gave us a unique experience which encompassed the peace and wholesomeness of farm life with the enjoyment of being a guest/family member at the B&B. For those who would like to be treated as family and not as guests, and would like an environment which relates to the Lancaster way of life both my wife and I highly recommend Airy Hill Farm Linda & Howard Unger

Airy Hill Farm B&B was just what we needed. A beautiful, quiet get away with wonderful hosts. The rooms are warm, comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were excellent, both setting and taste. Ask for the baked french toast, it was awsome. My husband and I celibrated our 20th wedding anniversary with a break from the kids and work and will remember our stay forever. Thank you Mark and Hazel. Steven and Katherine Cook

Mark and Hazel are wonderful hosts! Their home is very charming, clean, and comfortable. We were treated to s'mores by a campfire and a truly stunning firefly show in the trees. Hazel's breakfasts are simply outstanding, and both she and Mark are very warm and inviting. We visited along with some family friends, and all of the 5 boys (ages 10-14) thoroughly enjoyed our stay (especially the alpacas!). We can't recommend Airy Hill Farm enough! -The Stewarts

It was my first visit to the Lancaster area and we stumbled upon this gem and were so pleased. The owners are so personable and nice and the home is set in a beautiful landscape. And, the breakfast was phenomenal! Don't forget to bring your bathing suit to enjoy the very large hottub! This is a great spot for families or friends!

Airy Hill Farm B&B was more than we could hope for. The innkeepers have a contagious love of life and of the land that set the tone of your stay. The home is spacious, clean and comfortable. A place to sit and put your glass everywhere you look. We stayed in the Meadow Suite with our children (ages 7 and 9) and it was perfect for a family of four. Breakfasts were delicous and hearty with a light touch. You could choose to feast on sausage and monkeybread or have a lighter nibbling of fresh berries and yogurt. Situated in a quiet corner of "Farmland, PA", the Nestleroth's directed us to the local attractions and nearby towns which more than filled our three day stay. Our children loved the train museum, pretzel factory, and chocolate shop in Lititz, PA and enjoyed the campy quaint nook of Mt. Gretna, PA. Most of all, we loved coming "home" to the farm where food, rest and comfort awaited us. There are still so many attractions in the area for us to return for. The children have been asking for "Mr. N" and "Mrs. N" since we got home. We will definately be back.

It seemed to me that Mark and Hazel had been innkeepers for years--their home and farm is lovely and relaxing. Mark was nice enough to catch the week-old lamb for us to hold after we'd just missed the first showing. And, the custom breakfast that Hazel prepared and served to us on the back porch was delicious! Hazel was also happy to accommodate my daughter and her friend's later breakfast schedule. We only spent one night at Airy Hill Farm, but it was fun, comfortable and relaxing and I'll definitely be back!

I enjoyed a lovely stay here in the Meadow View Suite. It was so peaceful and quiet at night, a real getaway from urban living. Comfortable bed, clean and spacious bathroom. My mouth still waters when I remember the fantastic breakfast. Mark and Hazel were charming hosts.
