We always enjoy the innkeepers gracious hospitality while overnighting at this beautiful B&B. Not only are the guest rooms compfortable and attrative with colorful original paintings, but they are immaculate. And, after delicious home-made breakfasts, we the inkeeper's warm curbide goodbys as we drive off into the beautiful local country side always leaves us looking forward to the next opportunity we will have to return.

Great accommodation in an awesome town in beautiful north central PA. Have recommended it to many clients, business associates and friends. We also have featured it in our business referral rewards program!

I was fortunate to have gotten in on a cancellation and am now a loyal devotee. What a great place. I have stayed here twice when visiting my son at Bucknell University for Parent's Weekend. Jane and Bob couldn't be nicer. It is a very charming place and the location near Bucknell is perfect. The inn is a short walk to campus, in a lovely residential neighborhood close to the wonderful downtown area. History abounds. You can park your car and walk wherever you want to go.

We have stayed at the lovely and hospitable Tawsty Flower numerous times over the last four years while our child has been a student at Bucknell. It has been our home away from home in Lewisburg where we have enjoyed very comfortable accomodations, delicious breakfasts and wonderful conversations. The Albins are a wealth of information on the local scene from dining to music and community activities.

I had been traveling non-stop for three weeks when I found myself in Lewisburg for 4 days. I was tired of planes, hotels, and dining out and just wanted to be back home. However, when I arrived the room was clean, spacious and so comfortable that it was almost as good as being back in my own house. I slept more soundly than I had since my trip began. Better than that, in the morning I awoke to the most delicious homemade scones I've ever eaten! The second morning was fresh blueberry muffins, which were possibly even better. Breakfast also included a fresh selection of fruit, oatmeat, cereal and the works, but really I just filled up on the fresh muffins. Overall, the place was so inviting and comfortable that it was even better than being back home. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

My wife and I have stayed at three separate, highly-rated bed and breakfasts in the greater Lewisburg area, while visiting our daughter, a student at Bucknell University. We have repeatedly returned to, and are by far most comfortable at, the Tawsty Flower. If you’re looking for a cozy, tasteful, unpretentious place to stay, with delicious food and warm, friendly innkeepers, this is your kind of place. The rooms have an elegant simplicity, comfortable and beautifully furnished; they are not gaudy or excessively “busy” attempting to come off as a near-museum experience. The innkeepers are welcoming and accommodating, happy to chat, but also respectful of their guests’ privacy. The location is terrific for visiting Bucknell families who want to be close to their kids and just a few minutes’ walk to the nice restaurants and shops in old Lewisburg. Most highly recommended!

We have stayed both in the house and also in the cottage. Both locations were exemplary and our host and hostess were very helpful. The cottage has everything one would need and at a very reasonable price!! We have stayed at the Tawsty Flower on several occasions and would stay again.!

If you want an upscale stay for an affordable price, choose Tawsty. They are the closest B&B to Bucknell and are right around the corner from the historic theatre, Elizabeth's restaurant and 1 block from a wonderful park as well as a nice cafe. All the furnishings, bathrooms, etc are top notch.

I don't usually do B&B's, but wanted to be in town and close to Bucknell. I was very pleasantly surprised. Very accommodating hosts, comfortable rooms and 24 hour access. They had a bunch of things I didn't expect to find in a B&B like wireless and a guest computer (which came in handy because I forgot mine).
