A warm welcome to Flowers & Thyme B&B is extended to all for a relaxing "at home" feeling. Our passion is flowers and we invite you to enjoy them with us. Clean comfortable rooms with queen beds, private baths ensuite, with your choice of a room - smaller economical room , one with fireplace, or one with a 2-person jacuzzi. Hearty breakfasts are served in the spacious Gathering room. Sit on our front porch and enjoy the working farm and pastoral meadow across the road. We have an excellent location - within a few miles of the Sight & Sound Theater, the American Music Theater and are located between both outlets.

My Husband and I spent a beautiful night at Flowers and Thyme. The Jacuzzi tub was definitely a highlight, as well as the most delicious breakfast we have ever had. How about homemade waffles with strawberries, baked pineapples with coconut ice cream, and delicious coffee cake. This inn gets 5 starts in our book. Everything from the linens on the bed and immaculately clean room!

We came to Lancaster county for a bicycle tour and being guests at the Flowers & Thyme was the perfect relaxation, surrounded by blossoming flowers in a carefully kept garden and hosted by friendly and helpful inn-keepers.

We stayed here recently after a negative experience at another B&B in the area. We were very pleased with our stay at Flowers & Thyme. Very nice room, gracious hosts and a great breakfast. We will stay here on our next visit to Lancaster.

My husband and I celebrated my Birthday and enjoyed our stay at the Inn. It was very charming and quiet. We were greeted with great hospitality with care for our stay. The home was very clean and inviting. The food was amazing to say the least. You will love this B&B, it was in an ideal location, only ten minutes away from everything and more. Loved it!

It was a wonderful visit from the "Hello and Welcome" to the "Good-bye and Come again". The home was lovely and quiet and the gardens were peaceful. Sitting around the table together for breakfast after introductions by the innkeepers sparked immediate conversation. We felt like old friends getting re-aquainted. We can't wait for a repeat visit and have recommended this place to friends who will be travelling in the area. Thank you, Ruth and Don for adding a lovely visit to our special weekend.

My husband and I came to Lancaster to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary and found Flowers and Tyme on the internet. We could not have been any more pleased with this B&B. Ruth and Don made us feel like family and the B&B itself was great. We had the Garden Room and it was very nice. There was plenty of room and everything was clean and very convenient. The breakfast each day was beautiful as well as delicious. We will definitely be back. Thanks Ruth and Don.
In the Country Room on the second floor, a queen-size bed graces the room. There is an in-room private bath with original tiled walls along with a refinished cast iron tub and a wall shower head. This room overlooks the gardens, patio area and gazebo. This is a smaller room with the price reflective of that, and it is furnished in a country décor. A full breakfast will greet you each morning
The second floor Garden Room overlooks our gardens and has an antique queen-size oak bed and electric fireplace. A sitting room and adjoining private bath with corner shower connect to this room. Imagine being in the garden in this room. Garden-related touches enhance the coziness of the room for the perfect night. An electric fireplace in the room provides ambiance. A full breakfast will greet you each morning
The Thyme Room on the second floor is an elegant bedroom with a queen-size Shaker pencil post bed and an adjoining private bath featuring a 2-person Jacuzzi and a separate shower. Watch the sun come up over the sweeping views of the farmland from your front window. The Thyme Room is ideal for romantic getaways, anniversary celebrations or honeymoons. A full breakfast will greet you each morning

Don & Ruth Harnish
Don enjoys woodworking, especially restoring furniture and you can see the fruits of his work around the B&B. Ruth's big passion is flowers, especially poppies. The gardens are filled with annuals, perenniels and flowering bushes in profusion from Spring to Fall. Both enjoy traveling and tandem biking when time permits.
