We always have a restful and wonderfully quiet stay at Kennett House. Gilja manages it all so well and hospitably, with comfortable beds in spotless rooms, help with sightseeing, lovely decorating in tune with the impressive Arts and Crafts house, attention to temperature during the swing seasons, considerate touches like bottled water in the guests' common fridge and snacks for midnight munchies, and delicious breakfasts beautifully presented. Thank you again!

We enjoyed the architecture and décor and the wealth of information and books about the area. We were glad of good advice about places to eat and visit during our stay.

Our stay at the Kennett House was lovely. The host is absolutely delightful. She treated us like family. The breakfast each day was fantastic. We stayed in the Deleware room and it was cozy and we loved it! I would highly recommend a stay at the Kennett House! You won't regret it!

Miss Gilga was so warm and accommodating- even serving 3 different and equally delicious gluten and dairy free breakfasts! The room was beautiful AND comfy as well as very reasonably priced. The bathroom was elegant, great water pressure and amenities like shampoo, conditioner, etc. provided. The B&B is a 2 block walk into Kennett Square which has very good restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay here!

Lovely period house located in proximity to all sightseeing venues. The suite was spacious and well appointed. There are stairs and you have to carry your luggage. Breakfast excellent. Inn keeper a bit quirky, but overall a pleasant experience.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Kennett House. Beautiful home and location in the charming town of Kennett Square. There are plenty of great attractions to explore (Longwood Gardens, Hagley Museum, etc.), and we loved our room - The Longwoood Suite. Gilja, the host, makes a top-rate breakfast and is very hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here for four nights while visiting the DuPont Gardens, and other area attractions. It had great reviews, and deserves them. We stayed in the Longwood Suite which was spacious, attractive, comfortable, and clean. Gilja was very helpful with anything we needed; and is an excellent breakfast chef. It was an easy walk to downtown restaurants in Kennett Square, and short drives to all the Brandywine River Valley attractions. Kennett House is also a great building. So glad we chose it.

Need to walk stairs but rooms and open areas have amenities not normally provided. Breakfast was good but not overstuffing. Appreciated that! Convenient location to fabulous downtown stores. Relatively quiet despite location. Nice touches to interior, great sitting porch and an outstanding wireless internet connection.

We enjoyed three nights at Gilja's wonderful B and B! The room had an alcove for computer and tv use. Gilja kept the house nice and cool during the hot weather. (An old house, but has central air!) And talk about the breakfasts! Wonderful stay!
