I came across this site online and the pictures didnt do it justice. The service was great and the innkeeper was very nice and accommodating. The outside suite we stayed in was wonderful, definitely wasnt ready to leave. The add on packages are a nice touch. Will definitely return and would recommend time and time again.

We stayed in the Stolfz's suite (sp). Immaculate and romantic. Lots of room and updated. The main house and the grounds are very well kept. Breakfast was delicious!! The inn is centrally located to everything Amish. We are already looking at December dates to book a pre-holiday weekend.

I have to say that I found the staff to be super friendly and polite. They helped us in finding great places to eat and shop. The massages and facials were wonderful and the ladies lovely and sweet. We really enjoyed the breakfast and I got a kick out of seeing my husband drink his coffee out of fine china. I will stay here again on my next visit and my husband has already asked when that will be.

The Inn & Spa at Intercourse Village is fantastic in so many ways, the staff was great , all of them . They all were very helpful and friendly, The Spa staff was also very helpful and nice to US. We stayed Sunday night and checked out Wednesday, all of the Breakfasts (5 course) were great, very very tasteful, thanks chef. the summer suite was fantastic , the fireplaces, the Jacuzzi tub and the very comfy king bed, awesome sheets, Beautiful grounds and very close parking, we didn't want to leave, the location is perfect, right across the street from the village and close drive to outlets and other attractions, We will be back,, If you want to relax and enjoy a great getaway, this Inn and SPA is the place to stay in Amish country

Our first time at a B & B and we will definitely return. The details such as candles in the room, the spa, turn down service with rose petals on the bed, breakfast in bed, the cozy fireplace. OMG I don't know where to stop or end. The innkeeper was very warm and friendly. I never saw her without a smile on her face. The atmosphere was perfect for rest and relaxation. The 5 course breakfast was delicious. Noon check out time was wonderful because we got to relax and not rush out of bed. I'm afraid to ever stay at another B & B because the Inn set some really high standards.
5 on March 15, 2016
This is absolutely one of the best B&B you could stay. The innkeepers are so friendly, the rooms spacious and spotless. Chocolate candy mints on your nightstand, drinks in your personal fridge, romantic setting. Drinks & snacks in the main house. We've stayed in the Lapp Suite and Fisher Suite, we will choose the Fisher again because of the king size bed and large size rooms (plus it's in the back of the property so very quiet). The 5 course breakfast is very good, it may not seem like a lot once you see it, but trust me, it fills you up! We haven't tried anything at the Spa, but if it's anything like the Inn, then you won't be disappointed. Will go back year after year for sure!!!
5 on March 14, 2016
Stayed at the Inn for an overnight while visiting Lancaster Co to go to an Amish Mud Sale -- the Inn is by far the most beautiful bed & breakfast we have ever stayed in. The suite was private, very comfortable and furnished beautifully. Will most definitely visit again.
5 on February 11, 2016
We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. When we opened the door to our suite, it seemed to say "Come in, warm up and make yourself at home", and that's exactly what we did. What a fitting centerpiece to a laid back, relaxing getaway weekend. And, the 5-course breakfasts were nothing short of amazing. Our compliments to the chef and staff. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed in the Harness Shed Suite. It was amazing! Everything you need for a couple's getaway. Fireplace, kitchen area, and the best was the bedroom/Jacuzzi room. We had small chocolates on our nightstand and the mattress was so comfortable, the sheets felt amazing. Jacuzzi was great for us two with champagne bucket and candles next to it. Everything was super clean and gorgeous décor! We had breakfast delivered to our room in the morning and it was delicious! Staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Walking distance to Kitchen Kettle Village. We will definitely visit again.

We have stayed at a number of B&B's many of which are in PA but this was our first stay at The Inn & Spa at Intercourse. This guest establishment truly excels in every category and is well worthy of both Select Registry and The Diamond Collection. The room, the service, the breakfast, the hospitality, the entire staff--all were superb in every manner. Having run a rooming house and apartment complex ourselves, we are very discriminating and have high expectations. Truly, we can only compliment and found this place to be the perfect getaway. Additionally, the wife enjoyed the best body massage she has ever received anywhere. We will be returning again. Thanks for a most wonderful stay. The Parkers, Ocean City, NJ

Stayed in the Thomas Suite on the 3rd floor in the main house and it was amazing. The place was cozy, the character of the home was delightful in each room you entered, and the breakfast was by far incredible. Most Importantly, the staff are great, sociable, accommodating, personable, and professional. The location of the Inn and Spa was right in the middle of town, shops in walking distance, nothing was cookie cutter, which added to the uniqueness of this great Inn & Spa!!

My husband and I were married Nov.2011 and chose the inn and spa in intercourse as our honeymoon destination! The suites in the carriage house are the most peaceful , comfortable , clean places we have stayed at to date ! We stay there each nov. and always look so forward to it ! The staff are the most accomadating you will ever come across and the 5 course breakfast ( you can eat on china in the main house with the other guests or staff will bring it to your room ) is always incredible ! The location is perfect ladies if you like to shop , allow yourself 2 nights at least , shopping is right outside the entrance to the inn! With gratitude , Melissa

Upon our arrival, the innkeeper, Kylie, was wonderful. She gave us a tour of the main house and showed us how to use the card key. A very pleasant surprise was the fact that the refrigerator in the kitchen was open 24 seven with bottled water, sodas, etc. The freezer had packets of ice for our use. Prior to our visit we were asked if we had any special needs and all were met. A Keurig was available with assorted teas and coffees, as well as hot chocolate. There was a jar with semi hard pretzels and each late afternoon there other treats available. The Inn was nicely appointed. Kylie then walked us to our suite. Our Zook Suite had a TV in the living room and bedroom (The TV in the bedroom was to the side of the bed which made it very difficult to watch.). There was a sink with a microwave and a Keurig with assorted offerings. The shower was small, but comfortable for us. There was a molded seat in the shower that one could sit on. The shower also had a steam option. Every day we received clean towels and a chocolate mint on her nightstand. Outside in the garden area there was a section with an open type to Gazebo where one could eat lunch or just sit and read. Very pleasant music was piped in. We have stayed at another Select Registry inn. At that inn a buffet breakfast was offered. At this inn the chef made a five course breakfast. Each breakfast was very enjoyable and accommodated our dietary needs. It was nice that the bathroom sink was separated from the bathroom and the shower. We would have liked to have better lighting in our bathroom sink area and more lighting at night on the path from our suite to the main house). A rating of 5 is warranted due to the innkeepers (Kylie, Jennifer, Jena, Marsha & Kim) who made sure that all our needs were met. Plus the all had such pleasant personalities.

This place is very clean and well run and the employees are super friendly and accomodating. We've been to Lancaster before but never stayed in Intercourse, PA until this past weekend. The nearby shopping was fun and we felt like we were in a cute little village. We had a couples Pedicure at the spa and were pampered by the staff there as well.

My husband and I love visiting the Lancaster area, but had a hard time finding a place to stay that suited our needs. It was fairly easy to find a reason to try a different place. Well, after trying the Inn and Spa at Intercourse Village, we couldn't wait to come back. This was the fourth or fifth time we've stayed there, but it's been a year since our last visit. Still, when we got out of the car, the Innkeeper was outside and greeted my husband by name. They remember us, ask about or stay and our experiences, and even remember to inquire about where our daughter is spending her time while we're away. It's nice that the Inn is adults only. It's always so quiet and peaceful. Any issue we have is seen to immediately, and every care is taken to make sure our stay is an enjoyable one. Also, the breakfasts are wonderful. It's a great way to start the day, and they are always so delicious with just the right amount of food served. I can't wait to go back!

My wife and I have stayed in the Thomas suite two winters in a row. It's fantastic, with a lot of room (extends almost the whole length of the house on the third floor) and a great jacuzzi. And the staff here are wonderful. I highly recommend The Inn and Spa!

I recently took my fiancé here for a birthday get away and the suite we rented was awesome. Everything was clean and fresh and all the amenities was available. We forgot a wine cork and we looked in the cabinets and there a wine cork along with wine glasses. The bed was comfortable (best night sleep I've had away from home). The fireplace was a nice touch to the evening…to sit in front of it and have a glass to wine to help decompress…and not let me forget the jacuzzi…AWESOME!!! I didn't realize how much I loved jacuzzis…it just melted the tension right out of me. LOVED IT!!!

My husband and I spent two lovely days and nights this past week at the Inn. We have a super special secret to staying at certain B&B's, and getting one free night with one paid night! Where do I begin? This is a gorgeous beautifully restored Victorian Mansion right on the main street in Intercourse. We stayed in the Thomas Suite which is the entire 3rd floor of the house! We enjoyed the two person Jacuzzi very much after a day of traveling and sightseeing. Our suite had everything you could want or need, from a lovely sitting area with a big screen HDTV, to the two person Jacuzzi tub, the bathroom with the heavenly shower, the wet bar area with a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, mini-fridge and and more! The bedroom has a gas fireplace, HDTV with DVD player, a gorgeous King size sleigh bed with luxurious linens, a seating area, and the entire suite is furnished with authentic antiques, any of which I would have happily taken home with me! Each employee of the Inn was friendly, knowledgeable of the area, willing to go the extra mile with any request you may have. The living are of the house has two parlors with free Internet access and laptop for your use. A snack area, always well stocked, and guests can raid the fridge for soda, ice and water at any time, day or night. The five course gourmet breakfast is served on fine china by candlelight in the dining room each morning, unless you opt like we did to have ours in our room. The food was beautifully presented with a printed menu and every course was delicious. My favorite part of our trip was sitting on the large front porch, in a wicker rocker, watching the varied horse and buggies, two wheeled carts, pony carts and more, driving past all day long with the local Amish people going about their days. I cannot say enough about this Inn, all positive! We forgot to ask them where they get their bathrobes, we both wanted to take them home!
5 on August 01, 2014
We had a wonderful stay. The innkeepers are very attentive. The rooms were exceptionally clean. We had asked a question that they weren't sure about and within 15 minutes someone brought us an online printout with the information. Breakfast was scheduled late enough that we weren't forced to rush our morning and there is always the option to have them bring it to your room instead. We will definitely be back!
4.8 on July 08, 2014
We stayed in the Summer House, little pricey but well worth the privacy. The staff was attentive and extremely friendly. Upon returning to the room from dinner the staff had created a romantic atmosphere in the room like I could never do on my own. Including rose petals and fun dice. The heart shaped tub was a nice touch as well. Breakfast was amazing as well. If you are looking for a romantic getaway in Amish Country, I highly recommend this B&B.

We took our first trip to the Northeast. Though we stayed with family most of the time a B&B in Amish Country was a must for us. I wish there was a way to rate this a 5 star+. The beautiful, historic home, which serves at the base of the B&B was beautifully restored with suites behind it on lovely grounds.. My husband and I stayed in the beautiful Harness Suite. With the separate bedroom, a kitchenette, a spa and living area, we would like to have stayed longer. We cuddled up to the fireplace and rain on the roof to watch our Spurs during the NBA playoffs. The 5-course breakfast the next morning was served on antique chine complete with candlelight - a first for us. They graciously made adjustments to the food to meet my gluten and dairy intolerance. The hospitality was unmatched and the location great. We were able to walk to many of the shops and attractions in Intercourse and right across the street from Kitchen Kettle Village, where we found a wonderful pottery store.
5 on May 24, 2014
Great B&B if you are traveling thru PA. We stayed one night; the next morning it was raining & we had left our coats in the car. To our surprise there was a large umbrella outside our door for our walk to the main house for breakfast! Staff are very friendly & professional. Delectable 5 course breakfast, with old world charm. The spa services offered are a real treat!

We stayed in a suite at the rear of the property and found it large and private for a spa getaway trip. The four staff members who were on duty during our visit were exceptional and most accommodating when asked for suggestions on local attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious but we would have omitted the cereal course because the meal was plentiful w/o it. An added bonus for us was that we were lucky to interact and converse with interesting guests at breakfast.

My wife and I have been going to the Inn and Spa for years. It is our favorite getaway spot. We normally stay in the "Fisher" suite and have always had a wonderful, relaxing time. This year, we upgraded to the "Summer House Suite", which is a totally stand-alone cottage, all to ourselves, not sharing walls with anyone else. The room was great and we loved the larger shower stall and heart-shaped tub. But there were 2 major problems: 1. the living room love seat is old and in need of replacement. The cushions are thin and they have placed a thick wood board under the cushions to prevent sagging. Sitting on this love seat was actually painful. 2. The large king size bed is a bit soft, and sags in the middle. Again, painful. After 3 nights in that bed and on that love seat, my wife and I had such back pain, we could hardly move. We love the Inn and Spa and will definitely be back, just not in the Summer House Suite. Back to the Fisher Suite!

The Inn and Spa at Intercourse, Pennsylvania provided a warm, intimate place to rest away from the rainy weather outside. The furnishings I saw at the Inn were exquisite and thoughtfully arranged. Our room, the Zimmerman Room was the cozy place to be with the wind and rain ruling the outdoors. It offered lots of natural light. It had a centralized floor plan, and with the queen bed in the middle felt like the center of the empire like a French King's palace. It was our place where my SO (significant other) and me lounged with the pillows, curled ourselves up in little shapes and giggled like kids thinking our real world was continents away. It was that easy to do. We'll be back to try out your Attic, which we have heard is a hideaway retreat where two can stay . . . for a while. Thanks folks, it's been two great stays where everything has been taken care of.
5 on March 24, 2014
I stayed at Intercourse BB mostly because I thought it would be funny to say I stayed at Intercourse on my wedding anniversary (yeah, I'm immature like that). However, I can honestly say that it was one of the best choices I've made. The rooms were awesome, the food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. I will definitely be staying here again when my wife and I need a retreat for some relaxation.
5 on March 07, 2014
This is the only place to stay in Lancaster county. It has ruined us for any other B&B. Amazing rooms and kind, genuine staff.

The Inn and Spa at Intercourse Village is a wonderful place to go. The staff is friendly and wonderful, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The Harness Shed suites have a sitting area with a fireplace, which is a wonderful place to take a break in between shopping and shows. The several course breakfast they serve is very unique and tasty. My husband and I return several times a year, as we have never found a place we are more comfortable to go to just to get away for the weekend!

This was our first time here. My wife and I were immediately impressed by the main house - it had the comforting feel of a B&B yet not overly frilly. And our room - the Thomas Suite - was so much more than we expected. On the third floor, it was very spacious with a decor just our style. The Jacuzzi and mini kitchen were great. And the staff were very warm and friendly. We highly recommend this B&B!

Spent one night at this lovely B&B in the Thomas Suite. Every aspect of our stay was great, from reception to check-out. We were greeted warmly, and the innkeepers provided for our every need. Our room boasted two TVs and two DVD players and the inn had a wide selection of movies to choose from. They even provided popcorn! They gave free reign of the refreigerator, and laid out fruit and cookies. The room was lovely and well-maintained. Breakfast was a delicious five-course affair served on an immaculately laid table. All in all this was a great stay and I would recommend this B&B.

Our usual inn was closed for winter so we decided to try the inn & spa at intercourse, it looked great online & when we arrived it did not disappoint! We stayed in the harness shed suite it was so roomy but cozy..we chose to have breakfast in our room each morning which was wonderful. We also took advantage of the spa a couple of steps away..very convienant. We absolutely will be back and have recommended it to friends already..Thanks for a great stay! Deneen & Darren

Our stay at The Inn & Spa at Intercourse Village was phenomenal. The accommodations that the staff provided was beyond our expectation and their hospitality was so warm and genuine that it made my wife and me feel like family with all the comforts of home. We also had the privilege to meet several wonderful couple there that we became good friends with. When it comes to having an awesome stay that’s worth the money my wife and I recommend that you stay at The Inn & Spa at Intercourse Village.

From the moment we enter the wonderfully decorated Inn until we completed our breakfast before we left, the weekend was simply totaling relaxing. Anything we asked for was granted, any questions we asked were answered immediately. These inn keepers know how to take care of their guests.

My wife and I felt that from the moment we first talked with an Inn & Spa staff person on the phone that we were going to be in for a special treat - & we weren't disappointed. The initial reception was warm & friendly, the accommodations unique & finely appointed, and a personal note was left on a counter acknowledging my recent retirement - nice touch. We loved the feel of the various buildings (house & two out building), along with the walking path, gardens & fencing - giving the Inn & Spa a village within a village feel. Breakfasts were a feast - we always left the table full. Prior to indulging, the staff chef greeted us & informed us about the delectables in front of us.Additional amenities including delicious cookies & chocolate treats in our suite, as well as beverages, fruit, candies, cookies, popcorn & DVD housed in the living room. We're already trying to find a way back to the Inn & Spa - perhaps we'll see you there! And, speaking of other guests, that was another highlight - meeting wonderful people from all over the U.S. - Phil (Mt. Holly, NJ)

My husband and I stayed at the Inn and Spa for our "babymoon" recently and it was a wonderful experience. We stayed in the Beiler suite, which was beautiful and perfect. Everything is taken care of before you even think to ask for it. The innkeepers are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and always willing to help out. The breakfast was amazing, wonderful and delicious food that kept us full until dinner. The inn is located in a fantastic location, right across from Kitchen Kettle Village, walking distance to all kinds of shops and short drives to restaurants and attractions. The spa is also fantastic, the services are fairly prices and very relaxing. It was a wonderful, peaceful experience and we will be back. If I had to say anything negative about the inn, it would be that our room got very warm, almost uncomfortably so, at times, and the wifi signal is weak, at best. But those were small things that paled in comparison to our amazing experience.
5 on August 17, 2013
We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn & Spa. The service was outstanding, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were always clean. And it was really great to start each day with a delicious 5-course breakfast. We are looking forward to go there again.

My husband & I have drove past The Inn & Spa for years and finally decided to treat ourselves to a night away for an early anniversary gift. We stayed in the Harness Shed suite and absolutely loved it. We requested rose petal turn down. We found our night away to be so relaxing and romantic and worth every penny. Our breakfast, which we requested to be in our room was delicious. I have celiac so the chef paid extra attention and made delicious gluten free pancakes with homemade blueberry syrup and banana muffin....just simply awesome. The staff will just go above & beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We also took advantage of the spa being there and had a couple massage....a first for us both but was so relaxing and loved it. We had the best time and our stay was so memorable. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend staying there. You will not be disappointed.

This was the first time I had ever stayed at a B&B. The staff were exceptional, the rooms more than comfortable, and the scenery in itself was worth the rate. I wanted a ghost tour and within 5 minutes the Innkeeper had one pulled up and a dinner option thrown in as well. We took both and it just added to our excitement and pleasurable experience.
5 on April 12, 2013
Your help was very nice and helpful. I Love the Main house this is the kind of home I always dreamed of having. When I can get away again I will be staying with you. The only any I missed is a claw foot tub. I love taking a hot bath. But the room was beautiful I could have stayed in there all day.

Our main goal was to go and relax! And we were more than relaxed when we left the Inn and Spa of Intercourse PA!! Everyone was so friendly and made sure you were taken care of. My husband and I loved all if the extra touches in our room. They thought of everything right down to romantic music and candles! We felt like we were family by the time we left. We've decided we are going to make this a yearly tradition! Loved the shops in the town and you must take in a show at Sight and Sound!

We were lucky enough to pick up a last minute cancellation thanks to a thoughtful phone call from one of the innkeepers. We had our heart set on the harvest shed suite, but only the Thomas suite was available. Our suite encompassed the entire 3rd floor of the main house. The suite was immaculate and so cozy. The inn's attention to detail is superb...candles around the jacuzzi, keurig machine en suite, plush robes, turn down service, delicious breakfast. I could just go on and on. They thought of everything. We loved our suite so much; it will be our first choice next time.

Looked for and found more modernly designed rooms at the Inn. The woodwork, furniture and Amish charm of the Esh suite were very comfortable. Felt like we were in a cabin in the woods. Even though the barn house another occupied guest room, it was very quiet. Breakfast and a great variety of foods although they settled too much on the sweet side for my wife's liking.
4.6 on January 07, 2013
The accommodations and staff really made the weekend a wonderful time away. For my wife and I who are familiar with the opportunities of Lancaster...if was nice to find a hidden jewel in a familiar place. We hope to return someday to find it all over again.

We spent New Year's Eve at this delightful B&B, in the quaint village of Intercourse. The staff is so accommodating and friendly, our suite was lovely, and overall, everything was perfect, except the 5-course breakfast. Although quite elegant, I can't do sweets in the morning, and except for the cheddar and broccoli quiche and the smoked sausage, the remaining 4 courses were sweet. I was dying for a piece of toast, or a roll. But don't let this stop you. We will definitely be back to this charming Inn.
3.8 on December 19, 2012
My husband visited the Inn for the first time and found it very comfortable and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed the couples massage in the privacy of our room. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The area is very quaint with plenty of lovely, little shops. Most close early on Saturday and are closed on Sunday, so you should plan accordingly. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the Thomas Suite or aka the Penthouse Suite, because it is on the 3rd floor of the main house. The room was incredible with the king size sleigh bed and the jacuzzi tub. It also had 2 flat panel tv's, one at the foot of the bed and the other in the sitting area. I also had the I Love You package so the room greeted us with fresh flowers, Godiva Chocolates, and a bottle of sparkling grape juice. The staff was very friendly and courteous, even during the power outage(which doesn't happen often) when they greeted us with water bottles and a candle. Breakfast in the morning was not gut busting, but rather very flavorful and elegant as it was served over 5 courses. My wife and I can not wait to go back and enjoy their hospitality again.

Our room in the main house was very nice but small. The main problem was the lack of a closet. A shiferove would have work out fine.

Our stay was wonderful from the time we rang the doorbell to when we put our bags in the car to leave. Great location, wonderful hostess, clean suite, and the breakfast was different everyday. We loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying a coffee. We stayed for three days and will be back next year for a longer stay!

Stayed at the Harness Shed suite and enjoyed a Hot Stone massage from the spa in our room. The room and the massage was above and beyond our expectations. We highly recommend staying here.
5 on August 20, 2012
The room was exceptionally clean. The Innkeeper put a special note in our room before our arrival wishing us a happy anniversary. We loved all the little details such as leaving an umbrella for us outside of our room so we didn't have to walk to the main house for breakfast in the rain. The breakfast was a magnificent five course hearty breakfast. We also had the priviledge of having breakfast delivered to our room which was a special treat for our anniversary breakfast followed by an in-room couples massage from the spa next door. We highly recommend The Inn & Spa at Intercourse Village and hope to return in the future.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! Feels so "homey". Very clean, very romantic, lovely town. An awesome getaway. The staff was like your own family. Absolutely awesome.
5 on August 06, 2012
My husband and I had a very relaxing stay in the Lapp Suite, the room was comfortable and very restful. Having the suite was a great choice, a place to sit and talk and watch some TV. My only suggestion would be one more chair our friends were in the next suite and I ended up sitting on the floor which is ok since I do it at home but another chair would be nice especially if we were all playing cards or a board game. The location was great easy to walk to great shops and easy driving to other attractions. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loraine Dentel

We had a delightful visit at the Inn, and we would not hesitate to come back. The only possible thing missing from our room was a big comfy stuffed chair. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a feast that we thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks for helping our stay in Intercourse to be so pleasant!
5 on July 29, 2012
My husband and I had the most amazing time staying here! The room was incredible! The staff was so polite and helpful! My husband and I are vegetarian and I have a gluten allergy. They catered to our needs and went out of their way to eve make me my own gluten free muffin for breakfast! I have nothing but amazing things to say about this establishment! They have made loyal customers out of us! We will definitely be back!

The Inn is a charming comfortable place to spend a couple of getaway days. Our mother/daughter trip could not have been more enjoyable. Spa treatments were among the best that we've ever had. The technicians were extremely knowledgeable and provided just the relaxation we needed. I've already recommended it to some of my friends. Myrna

We spent two lovely nights as a short get-a-way to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The Inn keepers were friendly and made us feel right at home! What a fond memory we have of the special occasion we can keep with us! This is a great place for a romantic get-a-way or just a place to relax and catch your breath.
5 on July 14, 2012
This Inn was spectacular!! My husband and I spent one night (wish it was more!) in the Harness Shed Suite. Private entrance, sitting room with gas fireplace, kitchenette, jacuzzi, king bed. What struck me right off the bat was how CLEAN it was!! And I'm a stickler for clean! Every amenity you could think of was there. Even extra candles for around the jacuzzi! The innkeeper made us feel like we were staying with friends...very casual but very elegant. The candlelit five-course breakfast (you could opt to have it brought to your room) was delicious and the innkeeper recommended a great place for dinner. There are so many places to walk to right in downtown Intercourse and most things we planned to do were less than a 15 minute drive. Very convenient and lots of Amish buggies and craft stores if you want the nice Amish experience! Will definitely visit again!

We stay at B & B's whenever we can - my wife and I agree that this was the best ever! Thanks so much! Cary & Cathy
5 on July 07, 2012
There was virtually nothing more we could have asked for. This place has it all. Seldom have seen a B&B or hotel pay such attention to every detail regarding your needs and comfort. Hard to believe because it is such a rare thing, but everything was perfect. And they offer such nice touches as a welcome email a few days before arrival, asking if there was anything they could do for you...and then a thank-you email when you return home. Our suite (summerhouse), breakfast, service, amenities were all five-star quality.
5 on July 02, 2012
Quiet peaceful setting. Very courteous and attentive staff. Breakfasts are delicious. Spent two nights in "Zimmerman'. Old furniture, nice decor. Reasonable price. If you want an elegant B&B, this is the place.

Right out of the gate, the staff was informative and helpful from explaining surroundings to making special reservations at restaurants for the evening, they are very accommodating. The breakfast was well thought out and just right to start the day. But the rooms are the cleanest that i have ever seen. Tank you for the perfect 24 year anniversary for my wife and myself. Can't wait for next year we are gonna renew our vows in their wedding gazebo courtyard and they said they will handle the whole process. I am looking forward to it.

I would highly recommend this Inn to anyone looking for a quiet, personal space. The innkeeper was exceptionally nice and having room service for breakfast was very nice. Not to mention the food!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was a beautiful area, with a beautiful bed and breakfast! It was historic and charming, while also having modern amenities. The spa right next door to the bed and breakfast was a fabulous asset to this property, but the bed and breakfast alone was beautiful and cozy for relaxing, shopping, or romancing. Location is in Amish country and near 2 amazing outlet shopping malls. Restaurants in the area were well recommended and certainly lived up to their reputation.

This was by far, the must pleasant of my expiences at a B&B. Very user friendly website for reservations, extremely competitive rate in these hardship of economical times, endless suggestions on the surrounding area, very elegant, cozy, and romantic rooms with outstasnding atmosphere, and every needed conveinience . This will absolutely NOT be our last stay at the Inn, and will share this most rewarding experience with everyone I know

I planned our 25th wedding anniversary with the intentions of spending more on a 2-night stay in a beautiful decorated suite instead of spending that money and travel time on airfare or a cruise. The Harness Suite at The Inn & Spa of Intercourse (Lancaster, PA) made for the best anniversary, plus we are very familiar with Lancaster and love the area so this was the best choice for us. The things we loved about the room were the jacuzzi tub, waterfall shower head, a very comfortable King bed, living room area and the special touches that the chef did at my request: cheese, fruit & cracker plate, non-alcoholic champagne that was the best!, chocolate covered strawberries and our breakfast delivered to our room each morning. All the food was delicious and we had access to the main house for sodas, water, cookies, pretzels and DVD movies and books. My husband and I also indulged in the spa next door - he had a full body massage and I had a facial which included hands & feet and both were the best we had ever had. We also dined at two new local restaurants: Revere Tavern near Paradise and the Fireside Tavern on the Strasburg bypass - both had excellent food. There are great shops and many scenic country roads to explore and view the beauty of Amish farmland and the Park City Mall and outlets are not far away. In the morning and night we also loved the clickety-clock sound of Amish horse and buggies outside passing by. I cannot say enough about how comfortable and relaxed we were and how much we enjoyed our stay and time spent in Lancaster. As my husband put it, "this will be something I will always remember."

We stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn't have been happier. The pictures on-line do not do it justice. The service is awesome, the suite was immaculate and roomy and the gazebo in the back is stunning. Christmas time is the best time to go, the music playing in the yard was the perfect touch.

The only complaint we have is when we stayed on the 1st floor of the cottages out back. You could hear the folks in the room above you. This had us up until past 3:00 am which we were not pleased with. We started our 15 wedding anniversary tour at a different location and traveled down through Lancaster to the Inn & Spa. Don't get me wrong it was beautiful. we just didn't get the rest we wanted/needed from our big day of traveling..

We have been wanting to stay at your INN for a long time. Finally we did & we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Harness suite, better than the photos. It was so warm & inviting, all the colonial touches were so authentic. The bed was king size & very comfortable, between the f/p & jacuzzi, plus the 2 HD tv's we could have lived there. the extra nice touch was having our Breakfast delivered to our rm, both my husband & I have medical problems, which would have made it somewhat difficult getting to the dr.Shopping was nearby & at night we had alot of options for Dinner, only a short drive away. Next time we will stay longer & see a show, I'd like to stay in the suite that I think is like a honeymoon suite. The one problem are the prices, so I'LL wait for a special. All in All my husband & I had a great time ,no c/o & would recomend it for any couple in love! NJ

I would definitely recommend to friends and stay again myself...two comments that would have enhanced our stay...a choice of breakfast seating and knowing that the spa amenities close on Saturday the same time as check-in for the Inn...

My wife and I stayed in the Lapp Suite... We chose it because we felt it to be the best value and it still had a fireplace and "jet tub". When we got there we were slightly disappointed to find that the tub was not a hot tub style but a jacuzzi style and an older model at that. It appeared old and somewhat beat so we did not use it. All else about the experience was great. Great breakfast... Very nice staff.
5 on October 22, 2011
From the moment we arrived, we were treated to warm welcomes and great attention to our every need. Restaurant recommendations were "right on" as were hints on which stores to visit and excursions to take. The hostesses remembered our names and spent much time being sure we were happy and pleased with the Inn. I was especially appreciative of the concern given to my dietary needs. I am lactose intolerant and this was handled beautifully (and deliciously) by our hostess and the chef. What a restful, beautiful vacation. My husband and I highly recommend The Inn and Spa at Intercourse Village.

Inn and Spa is hands down the best place to stay in Lancaster County.....We have been coming out to Lancaster for years and have tried them all, but this is second to none when it comes to everything....Great care is taken by the staff, and the grounds are well kept.....I have nothing bad to say about anything while we stayed there....Will be guest there many more times....

I recently stayed at the Inn it was very nice. The people were very nice,.The rooms were extremely clean and the breakfast was very good. It was my Wife's Birthday and the Inn reall did something nice. Thet had a bottle non-alcholic sparkling wine in our room for her along with a birthday card. Nice touch!! If I had one compliment (if you want to call it that) is that a 10:00 Breakfast is a little to late. However the Breakfast was great.

This was very nice place to stay. We were welcomed in a friendly manner, given a tour of the home, our room, and the grounds. They were available when we needed them for service or to ask questions. The room and Inn was very clean, well kept and the furnishings were as good. The only comment I have is the breakfast was not as I expected it to be. They said they hire a chef, the breakfast was not up to par - not well cooked and not what we were led to expect. The dining room was set up the best I have seen in a B&B.

For a superb romantic (or non-romantic) getaway, this is the place to go. Everything was superb, especially the 5 course breakfast, interior design work, hospitality, service, cleanliness, AC in the summer, etc.! Caution: On Sundays, none of the shops and restaurants in Intercourse, PA or surrounding areas are open, so book this B&B accordingly. A must place to stay at least once.

My husband and I chose the Inn and Spa at Intercourse Village for a two-day getaway to relax and re-connect, and it was absolutely wonderful! We stayed in the Harness Shed Suite (pictured). It was very clean and quiet. The people were extremely nice and accomodating. The location is great, within walking distance to all sorts of shops in the Kitchen Kettle Village. Any type of restaurant that you could imagine is within a short distance. Each day, we spent the morning relaxing in the garden, and then enjoyed a five course breakfast by candlelight. The Spa is great too! I enjoyed a sixty-minute massage while I was there. Make sure that you book your spa sessions early, so you can ensure you get the availability and time that you need. I definitely recommend staying here, especially if you are looking for a romantic get away. I would go again in a heartbeat! I also recommend the Greenfield Inn Restaurant and the Sight and Sound Theater...

My husband and I spent a weekend at Intercourse Inn and Spa to celebrate my 50th birthday and the 29th anniversary of the day we met. This was the second time we stayed at this location. On our first stay it was winter and cold outside so we stayed in one of the Deluxe Suites. It was perfect for that time of year with the two person jacuzzi tub. On this past trip it was summer and hot, so we decided to stay in a Homestead Suite. It was wonderful!! It had a one person jetted tub, a large living room, and beautiful bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The day we arrived it was pouring down rain, an umbrella was left at our door for our use. Breakfast is unbelievable, you won't need lunch!!!! We have already made our reservation to return for our 29th wedding anniversary, and are so looking forward to it.

My wife and I hadn't decided where we were going to stay when we left that day for our anniversary. When we got there we looked at another place but the other place just didn't seem to be what we were looking for so I told her lets check out this other place I saw on the internet it wasn't much further beings that we wanted to stay near Lancaster. So we went to the Inn & Spa and when we got there we just new it was the place. The room that we got was perfect very well laid out and very clean. The best part was that the town was having a Heritage Day and at dusk they were having fireworks. Just so happens that our hot tub had these sky lights that faced in the direction the fireworks were being set off. What an anniversary with a perfect place to stay with very nice people who run the Inn and fireworks. What a perfect ending doesn't get any better than that.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The food was excellent, the rooms wonderful, the staff went out of their way to be accomodating. The spa and our treatments were outstanding. We would highly recommend this place. I can't wait to go back!

It was wonderful to stay at the Inn again. I was surprised to see that they left a little gift of chocolate & a thank you for returning card. They were kind enough to make sure that my fiancee' did not get any dish that he didn't want (he doesn't eat egg dishes). They give little sheets of things that there is to do on a Sunday in the middle of Amish country where most things are closed. We had so much fun and can't wait to go back. We love our little getaways there.

Wife and I spent a long weekend here and had a very relaxing time. From the terrific day at the spa to the delicious breakfast to the wonderful suite, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and a time to re-energize. We stayed in the Thomas Suite, which is the entire top floor of the main house. Very comfortable king bed, nice sitting area, and wonderful Jacuzzi. Impeccably clean and comfortable temperature wise. The staff of the spa and inn were so kind, friendly, and helpful with restaurant suggestions. We indulged in a couples day at the spa, which included a nice private lunch, an hour massage, and pedicure. It really set the mood for our weekend of relaxing together. We would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay. The location is also very good, across from a "touristy" but nice Amish marketplace. It is an easy drive to all of the terrific villages of Lancaster County and to the city of Lancaster.

A great location and great accommodations. The connecting Spa also provides great services. The small Amish towns add the the total picture of getting away from the normal rushed day. Not our first visit nor our last.

We were so impressed with our stay: first I expect a great service anywhere I go I grew up in the motel and restaurant business. We were greeted very friendly the room was just as pictured on the web so comfortable and the bed sheets to die for so soft we loved it it was above and beyond expectations than we when to breakfast in the morning and that was 5 plus star breakfast the Chef was awesome food served on beautiful china and we were told what we were eating so Classy. Than the spa everyone was above the expectations my husband and I cant wait to go back we were burnt out and we got our energy back and are feeling so much better. Thank you Thank you for giving us the best couple of days possible we WILL be back and are going to bring friends.

This was our first visit to the Inn. What a delightful time we had !!! The room was beautiful and very clean; the service was outstanding and the breakfast was fantastic. We went away hoping to have a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and that is exactly what we encountered. We are hoping to make another trip soon.. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

This is a wonderful place to have a relaxing weekend with the one you Love. My fiance and I decided to "get-away" from it all to spend some nice quite time together. Intercourse Inn and Spa was definitely the place to go! The breakfast was wonderful and they even took special requests (as I do not like cheese!!). My fiance and I woke up late on Sunday (daylight savings), we were so upset that we were missing breakfast!! Well, no need to worry because the wonderful staff at Intercourse went out of their way to accommodate us by bringing breakfast to our room! I would definitely recommend this place - and we will definitely be returning as soon as we can! Oh, and don't forget to treat yourself to a massage! You're worth it!

We were return guests to the Inn. Hospitality was fabulous! A personalized return welcome letter with chocolates for us in our room~ a very nice touch! Fresh fruit and refreshments available 24 hours was wonderful! Room was beautiful. The only thing missing is a hearty, sumputious breakfast. They offer a "6 course" breakfast with a lot to be desired. Very petite portions including a mixture of cold cereal, and a fresh baked item. The table setting is beautiful. The food is just missing. If they corrected this, we wouldn't be able to stay away! Suggestions would be omlettes, stuffed french toast, pecan pancakes, breakfast meats~all served family style with a basket of fresh muffins/croissants and homemade jellies on each table!

My husband and I visited the Inn and Spa at Intercourse Village as our first night away since having our son 10 months ago. It was also the perfect excuse to use the bed and breakfast gift card that we received at our wedding nearly three years ago. The room was very nice, the staff friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed massages and pedicures at the spa. Our only small disappointment (which was in no way the fault of the inn) was that most of the small shops were closed late Saturday afternoon and on Sunday.

My DH & I loved this Inn. We went here to relax and unwind after some stressfull times at home. The Innkeepers were very nice. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice young lady who showed us around the main building which was Beautiful. Explained how things worked at the Inn and showed us to our Suite. We stayed in The Beiler Suite. It had a sitting room with a fireplace & kitchenette. The bedroom had a Queen size bed. It also had a private bath with tub. The Inn was nice and quiet due to the time of year. It was right in the center of town. Across the street from The Kitchen Kettle Villiage. We would most definitly stay here again.

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend here in January, and booked a spa package as well. The entire experience was lovely. I recommend staying in winter because the rooms have fireplaces and steam showers, and the view of the snow with the horse and buggies outside our window was great. There is a great shopping area across the street and many nice restaurants within a short drive. The five course candlelit breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway complete with spa services and relatively affordable.

This B&B was chosen as a last minute trip by my girlfriend and I. The stay was Christmas night. Upon arriving, the first thing you notice is the beauty of the grounds. Upon exiting the car, we heard the clip-clop of the Amish buggies on the road, heard classical music thru speakers on the grounds, and noticed the quaint look of the buildings. Since it was Christmas night, no employees were attending the office, but our welcome packet was nicely placed on a table by the door. The packet had information on everything we could possibly need. We entered the room and the first things you notice are the incredible country decorations and the cleanliness of the room. I mean this room was IMMACULATE. The bedding was comfortable as I have ever had in a place outside of my own house. My girlfriend and I simply use the word stunning for how we feel about this place. After a great romantic night, we woke relaxed in such a quiet place. We had breakfast scheduled in the main building at 8:30AM. The breakfast did not disappoint. 5 courses, all thoroughly enjoyable. The attention given by the staff was top notch. Everything was thought of and taken care of. One great thing is that I have some specific preferences on food, and The Inn makes sure that these preferences are on file for when you return. And believe me, you will want to return. Do not pass up an opportunity to experience this inn. My girlfriend and I will return, as it is "our place" now. We plan on celebrating special dates in our relationship right here.

I stayed at Inn & Sp at Intercourse Village with my friend on 12/24/10-12/26/10. We originally reserved the Victorian room, but we felt we rented the whole 2-story house because no one else was there until the evening on 12/25 (How lucky we are!!!). The house was really cute and pretty-! :) The fireplace and all the pretty Victorian style ornaments~! The Victorian room was smaller than I had expected, but it was very cozy and romantic. Plus, the breakfast served on the morning of 12/16 was pretty good-!

My husband and I have been married for 26 years and never stayed at a bed and breakfast and we haven't been anywhere without children in 19 years, and it was a wonderful experience. The home and our room had so much character. It was beautiful. Everyone was so friendly and kind and the Christmas decorations were so pretty. We could only stay one night, but we enjoyed it very much and would love to stay again.

The rooms are so comfortable and clean. A very relaxing place. The breakfast usually gets outstanding reviews, but we are just a country couple and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Their breakfast is more elegant, lots of food, but in small portions,so it did not suit our style. Other than the breakfast we will most definitely return again as this plcae is outstanding! For the first time in many years my wife and I splurged on a romantic weekend get-away at the Inn & Spa at Intercourse Village and we loved every minute we were there. We had a massage when we first arrived and then went back to our room for some quality time in the heart shaped tub, lit only by the fireplace in the bedroom. In the morning our five-course breakfast was beyond amazing and we talked with a couple from Australia as we ate. Afterwards we waddled back to our room and fell into bed again. Our hosts were amazingly attentive and gave us anything we asked for. The Inn gave me and my wife an exhausting and thoroughly enjoyable weekend that we will always cherish.

I would do anything to return to the Inn & Spa at Intercourse Village in the very near future. My husband and I never had an opportunity to take a real honeymoon so after six years of marriage he surprised me with an overnight stay at this WONDERFUL place. The staff was awesome, the room was beautiful and relaxing and was extremely clean. With so much to see and do in this little village, it was great just to enjoy the atmosphere of this adorable inn. I LOVED my little overnight honeymoon and he couldn't have picked a better place. I'm hoping he surprise me again.....very soon!!!

My husband and I stayed here for our one year anniversary. We only stayed for one night but, we wished we could have stayed a couple more nights. The rooms are in a beautiful county setting and it's in the heart of intercourse. Kitchen Kettle Village is a great place to shop and the outlets are not too far away either. We had the option of having our breakfast brought out to us, which we did, and the breakfast was amazing. When we got there, they gave us a packet of things to do and dining suggestions. They highly suggested the Olde Greenfield Inn, we do too. It's fine/ casual dining and the food was spectacular. I definitely recommend staying at the Inn and Spa at Intercourse Village. It's a perfect romantic get-away.

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay at the Inn & Spa at Intercourse Village. Our innkeeper, Marcia was so accommodating and helpful. We stayed in the Hay Barn nearby the garden, which was complete with gazebo and piped-in music! It was exactly the quiet stay we had hoped for. Oh, how can I not mention the delicious 5 course breakfast ~ everything so delicious!!

Just returned from a overnight stay at The Inn & Spa at Intercourse Villiage in PA. My husband and I have not had a relaxing weekend/getaway in a long time. I made the reservations based on the internet site. I can honestly say it is the same as the pictures displayed. We were checked in, given a tour, given some history of the property, but most of all we felt welcomed. They combine the warm and fuzzy feeling along with professionalism. The property sits back off of Rt. 30 which makes the property quiet. The grounds are very well kept and there is a gazebo at the back of the property. They have a candelite breakfast, however if you ask they will bring up a tray in the morning to you by 9:15 am. on a case by case basis. The property is centrally located to shopping that you can walk to however keep in mind on Sundays a lot of the shops are closed. They give you a booklet when you register with Sunday ideas of things to do and where to eat. All and All we will be going back, again and again. We recommend this INN mainly because we had a WOW experience. Joanne and Bill / Delaware County residence.

The Inn was a very nice place for a weekend getaway. It is in a great location and the grounds are beautiful. The staff was gracious and the five course breakfast was wonderful. The only drawback is while the suites are spacious, the seating in the living room was not comfortable for two.

We stayed in the Leaman room which is in the house facing the road. At 5:30am the traffic was a bit loud. Had to turn the air conditioning back on just get some white noise to help drown out the traffic. That was the only negative experience of our stay. Looking forward to our next stay there.

My husband and I spent one night here for our anniversary. The place was immaculate and beautiful as well as the staff being very friendly. They left a bottle of sparkling juice in our room which was a surprise. The atmosphere was very quiet and there was also lots of store shopping within walking distance. We are already discussing when we can make it back there to stay again and hopefully for a longer weekend. Oh I forgot to mentino that we even had breakfast delivered to our room in the morning since we did not wish to eat in the dining room (in the main house). It was a very good. I'd recommend this place to everyone.

My husband and I visited here for a two-day anniversary trip. The Inn was everything we had hoped it to be. We had never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before and we were extremely impressed with this inn.Our Victorian room made us feel as if we had stepped back in time(with the comfort of central air and tv). The five course breakfast was an experience all in itself. We made a visit to the spa and throughly enjoyed it. Thanks to the wonderful experience at this inn, my husband and I plan to check out other bed and breakfast inns. And of course should we ever find ourselves back here, we will be staying at the Inn & Spa at Intercourse Village.
