My wife and I like to annually, or twice annually, visit our son goes to Slippery Rock. Terra Nova House was our first choice. Ryan and Lori really keep the place very nice. They are also very welcoming. The house is beautiful. Ryan has always been very helpful in terms of both service as well as sharing things to do in the area. We love the outdoors so we spend most of our time on the go outside. However, it is a wonderful experience to come back to a place that is tranquil and relaxing. It is our "goto" place to stay when we come up for a visit So much so, that TNH's availability factors into part of the decision of which weekend to come up.
We greatly thank you for your repeat stays with us! We love to see our returning families for both Slippery Rock University and Grove City College. Depending on the time of year college schedule wise we can fill up rather quickly, so thank you for basing your travel plans around our availability! We look forward to seeing you again soon :)

While visiting my daughter at Grove City College, I spent one splendid night a mere five minutes away at Terra Nova House. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, the beautifully decorated rooms, and the delicious food. I am not known for taking photos of my meals, but my breakfast and the dishes it was served in were so beautiful that I had to take a picture! Thank you for a lovely stay.
Thank you for your very kind words! It is definitely nice being only five minutes away from Grove City College, perfect for visiting parents! We are pleased you enjoyed our rooms and breakfast, we try our best to make both look outstanding! We look forward to seeing you again during your next trip to the campus. Thanks again!

I was only able to stay one night at Terra Nova House B&B, but it was wonderful! It was a present to myself for my birthday and it was a very good one! It was a very pleasant experience from the time I booked the room until the moment I left. The rooms are clean and very well appointed. You are welcomed with a small cheese plate and a huge brownie upon arrival! You are able to use the parlor for reading or just relaxing, all of the plates and utensils in the dining room, plus there is coffee/tea/hot water and snacks available for all of the guests. They provide a microwave, refrigerator, Keurig and snack area on each floor for the guests to use, which is more than I expected from a bed and breakfast. The little details - like a small air freshener/fan in each room that also helps block out any noise from other guests walking or talking in the hallways - makes you realize how attentive the owners/hosts are. (It's a very old house, so little things like that make a huge difference). I already plan on booking another stay later this year when it's warmer - that way I can enjoy time on the beautiful front porch and walk around the quaint downtown area. Oh, and did I mention that breakfast was awesome!!
So glad to hear you had a great stay for your birthday get away! We are definitely detail oriented here at the Terra Nova House, so we are delighted you had everything you needed for a wonderful stay. Reading a book on our front porch is a favorite activity (even for us!), so we look forward to seeing you back again soon to relax in the warm weather! Thank you for your kind words.

I stayed a night at Terra Nova because I wanted to avoid the generic, lookalike hotel. I was not disappointed. Each room is decorated in a unique style, the innkeepers are friendly, the amenities are enticing (a welcome snack plate, a brownie in the evening, complimentary beverages and snacks), and the breakfast is substantial. The inn is located near the downtown area and within easy driving distance of Grove City College.
Thank you very much for your review. We are definitely more than just a generic hotel, and we are glad you got to experience that with us. We look forward to seeing you again during your next stop to the Grove City area!

Spent one night in the Lodge Room (was actually my birthday present to myself!). Was greeted by Ryan and received a warm welcome. He showed me all that the inn had to offer, then showed me my room. Because I had booked direct and there were available rooms the night I was staying, he said I could have my choice of rooms. I chose to stay with my original choice, which was perfect! As a guest I received a small plate of cheese, crackers, grapes and chocolates, along with a HUGE brownie! The room was very comfortable and clean. You are able to choose your breakfast ahead of time, and it was awesome! (Pumpkin waffles that practically melted in your mouth!) I would definitely recommend Terra Nova, and I am looking forward to staying there again soon!
Thank you for your great review! Booking directly definitely has its perks at the Terra Nova House, the free upgrades are just one of them! The lodge room is a wonderful room though, we do not blame you for staying with your original choice. Soon our pumpkin waffles are changing to our spring fruit and yogurt waffles, make sure to stop back and try those ones as well as they are amazing! Thank you again, we look forward to having you back with us soon.

Enjoyed our stay at Terra Nova House. Very clean and the service was great. Loni was a terrific host. Great breakfast that we were able to pre-order online. The extras available were a nice touch. Close to the Outlets and less than an hour drive from home. Definitely a place to stay if visiting the area.
We are so happy to hear you had a great birthday getaway! Thank you for your kind review, we greatly appreciate it. Since you are close in distance come back and stay with us soon! Our breakfast menus change from day to day :)

If you want a lovely atmosphere and non-invasive personal attention, check for availability here first. We had an event that provided breakfast, so we opted out of the breakfast package and paid the same price that a national hotel chain cost, but with personal service, a unique room, (and complimentary gluten-free brownie:) which I rated 5 stars.) And we were fortunate enough to get upgraded!
Thank you very much for your kind review. Our no breakfast discount is perfect for those guests that already have breakfast arranged during their stay. We hope to see you for breakfast during your next stay though, as our breakfasts are delicious! We happen to find our gluten free brownie option just as good as our regular brownies too. Again, thank you! - Loni Thomas, Assistant Innkeeper

I stayed at Terra Nova just overnight for a business trip and I really wish I'd had more time to enjoy the property. It was a wonderful experience - check in was easy even though, due to a closure on the turnpike I was WAY later than the window I'd given them. I was able to relax after a difficult drive with a cup of tea and a plate of fruit and cheese. The room and breakfast were wonderful. I don't know when I"ll make it back to Grove City but will definitely stay here if I can.
Although it is impossible for us to make your travel to us relaxing, we most certainly try once you arrive. From the complimentary fruit/chocolate/cheese plate, baked good, hot chocolate/tea/coffee/sodas/juices and snacks galore...we want you to unwind. We do hope that you get back to Grove City soon! - Ryan Mercer, Owner/Innkeeper

We have just completed our most recent stay with Ryan. I have lost track of how many times we have been to Terra Nova House, but I believe we have been guests there every year since he opened this B&B. We love the variety of the rooms (each with a different theme), the evening snacks, and the super breakfasts. But most of all we enjoy Ryan as he has become like one of the favorite family members we come to the area to visit each year. We greatly enjoy the light hearted banter we have with him at breakfast each visit. We would stay nowhere else in the Grove City area.
Thank you for your kind words and your continued patronage to our bed and breakfast. We love being able to visit with our guests and build lasting relationships during return visits. Ryan sure is fun to banter with! Again thank you, and we look forward to your next stay!

We loved this Bean and Breakfast. We stayed one night on our Pennsylvania road trip. The welcome was great with baked goods and finger foods awaiting us. Our hosts were extremely helpful and we followed their recommendations for where to eat. The room was amazing and we wished we could have stayed longer. The only disappointment for us was the fact that we were not able to have the breakfast as we made a same-day reservation.
Thank you for your same-day reservation and one night stay. We are glad that you enjoyed all the little extras that we have. We understand that it is disappointing that we do not offer breakfast for same-day reservations in exchange for 20% off the rate. Let me explain as it will possibly help other potential guests reading this review. Our breakfasts are prepared individually for each guest so that we can accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies very easily. Guests are sent a breakfast selection email several days in advance. There is a lot of planning that goes on for breakfast. In addition, we typically begin preparing breakfast the morning before; therefore, same-day reservations would require us to prep yet again. As only one person is acting as innkeeper during the day handling all the duties (checkouts, answering phones, grocery shopping, repairs, cleaning, finances, marketing, check-ins) we have found it just too disruptive to try to accommodate same-day reservation guests for breakfast after we have already prepped. Again, same-day reservations (walk-ins) automatically receive our 20% No Breakfast Discount and this is explained when the reservation is made. Several B&B's do not accept walk-ins...we at least figured out a way to do so. Thank you again and we look forward to your next stay with us. - Ryan Mercer, Owner/Innkeeper

We were lucky to find this B&B for a last minute get away and were extremely pleased with the facility, service and food. We were pleasantly surprised with the room as we were told (when making reservations) it was the smallest (all other rooms were booked). The Innkeepers were delightful and so was the breakfast. We will definitely return and recommend it to our friends.
Thank you very much for your kind review! We look forward to seeing you and your friends again soon with us!

This is my third time staying at Terra Nova House. i love this B&B. If they are booked, I always ask to be placed on a waiting list so i can be considered if a room cancellation happens. As was the case this last time I stayed. Each time has been in a different room, which is nice for variety. This last visit was especially interesting. I was having a quiet evening in my room, just reading my book and relaxing. When all of a sudden, my bed starting shaking...quite visibly. And only the bed. Not the night stands or the TV stand...just the bed. It shook for about 30 seconds and then stopped. This went on and off from 8p-10p. I thought I was going crazy. It was indeed spooky. The spirit or ghost or whatever was shaking my bed ceased all activity when I prayed in the name of Jesus for it to leave. I also heard faint music...couldn't make it out exactly. Needless to say, I slept with one eye open. In the morning after a delicious breakfast, Ryan and I had a conversation about the happenings. He said I was the first guest to experience that....but he himself had a similar experience on the same floor, but different room. So if you are a ghost hunter, this is your spot. Ask for a room on the third floor. I always give Terra Nova house two thumbs up. And this time is no different....ghosts and all.:) Dina
We greatly appreciate your repeat business and making use of our waiting list. Although we cannot always accommodate those on the waiting list, some do get lucky. Just as we are smoke free and open flame free, we are also "spirit free". I do understand how the shaking bed could cause such a fright as it did happen to us on the other side of the 3rd floor when we used to live there. We have also heard faint music, whistling and a baby cry. Being very interested in the paranormal, I have concluded that the bed shaking for us was a result of either a train, construction or drilling far off in the distance and the vibration must have been just perfect for our bed and one other piece of furniture to shake for about 30 seconds a couple of nights a week. After we completely renovated the 3rd floor in May 2014 to make the Collegiate Suite and the Lodge rooms, the room layouts were different and no guests had shared with us any experiences of shaking of any kind. Around this time, marcellus shale drilling in the surrounding area was also slowing down. As for the various sounds, we discovered that sound travels very funny within the house due to the 2 staircases leading up to the 2nd floor. Without any fan noise, it is possible to hear conversations very faintly from the 1st floor and outside all the way on the 3rd floor. The music and whistling were a result of the speakers we have on the 1st floor and the baby crying was in the house next door. Sound travels very strange in the house which is why we have white noise machines around the house to help drown out unwanted noise. As to your recent experience, upon further reflection, I am guessing it may have something to do with our new washers and dryers which are in the laundry room below the Lodge. The new washers and dryers (2 stacked units) are a lot more powerful than our prior washer and dryer. It is highly likely that we were running the units during that time and you were experiencing the vibration from the spin cycle. We may have to adjust our spin speed and re-level the units to prevent unwanted vibration. And as to the faint music, I am guessing as you indicated to me that you turned off the A/C unit and had no other "white noise" around you, it was probably the 1st floor music that you were hearing. Or...it could all be paranormal! Any paranormal investigators are more than happy to check out the place; however, I think you will be in for an uneventful night and come to the same conclusions I have. Ryan Mercer, Owner/Innkeeper

I reserved the British Empire suite for my Aunt and Uncles 50th wedding anniversary and from the reservation to check out Ryan was a perfect host. They decorated the room with our decorations and they LOVED it. This is the friendliest, cleanest and most gorgeous place, you have to visit to enjoy the experience. And the brownies are to die for. Thank You Ryan for making their day special.

Their brownies are worth a detour in your trip! And it's a very relaxing, cozy and homey but professional and convenient place to spend some time.
Ah the brownies! We wish we could take credit for making the brownies, but all that goes to Pastries by Andrea in Mercer, PA. When you find something that works, repeat it. That's why the first evening, you are almost guaranteed to have a Pastries by Andrea brownie waiting for you with your name on it! If you stay multiple nights, you will get to enjoy a different Pastries by Andrea creation. And yes, it is very difficult not to eat all we have in stock! About 12 years ago my sister in law and I started doing a Dec. "getaway". Some years we have a lot of shopping some not so much. We have stayed at many of the Inns, hotels and B & B's in the area. Two years ago we found Terra Nova! How very lucky for us!!! We will not stay anywhere else!! The accommodations are beautiful, clean and relaxing! Ryan and Molly are the ultimate hosts. From the time you are welcomed at the door until the time to leave they make you feel like you are staying at a favorite relatives in a beautiful home! Found this wonderful place while looking for a travel stop 1/2 way between Indiana and New York. Was pleasantly surprised by the incredible value for such a beautiful place!!! Everything was beyond our expectations and we've stayed at numerous B&B's over the years. This one is the absolute best so far. The owner (Ryan) was super and went WAY over and beyond to make us comfortable, he even carried our bags!!! When you order breakfast, be aware that when they say all portions are large unless you specify otherwise, THEY ARE LARGE ! Not only were they large but the finest quality - one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. Kuerig Coffee machines on both floors, ice, even 2 snacks waiting for us - cheese, crackers, and fruit plate and a HUGE delicious brownie. A variety of bagged snacks also in the common library area, again, all free. Quiet, comfortable, and (I think) underpriced but don't tell them. Don't hesitate to stay here - you will not regret it. With the only real B&B in a town one would think that the effort to please just would not be there....for Terra Nova this is not the case. After dropping off our youngest at GCC, we decided to celebrate being empty nesters by spending a night at Terra Nova house. Ryan met us promptly at 3 PM, showed us around, carried our bags, and made us feel at home. There are so many ways that Ryan makes you feel welcome, I can't cover them all, but for me, the access to coffee, juice and water 24x7 is primary. My wife on the other hand, loved the 2nd floor deck and the gluten-free brownie - just for her. Our only regret is not staying longer.

Ryan goes to great lengths to ensure the comfort of his guests including such thoughtful touches as readily available snacks and a delicious baked good. Beware, the lemon bars are habit forming! Breakfast is served on time and extremely well prepared. I was fortunate enough to try the waffles that were housed in a mountain of fresh fruit, yogurt, with just the right amount of chocolate and whipped cream. This was the first time we'd decided to stay in a b n b. Considering it was the same cost as a hotel we thought, why not give it a try! Well, we had the best experience. Never actually expected it to be half as great as it turned out to be. We were greeted at the door right away. Given a tour, we had been given menus for each morning that we'd be there to pick out what we'd like for breakfast. The food was incredible. Each morning we got freshest baked treats from a local bakery close by (as well as our breakfast) . Each night we received a cheese and grape tray. They made reservations for us at restaurants.. so helpful and insightful. I can't wait to ho back here!

We had to cancel and try to reschedule our reservation at the last minute. Ryan was extremely helpful and allowed us to reschedule for the next weekend - no problem. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Will definitely return when we can stay longer.

All areas of this B & B are exceptional. Ryan is very professional and organized, with several contacts before the stay to verify arrival times, detailed breakfast choice options, and any problems or questions we have. Rooms are clean and well appointed, and there are coffee makers/water dispensers on each floor for self service 24/7, along with snacks. Upon arrival, we received a fruit and cheese plate and large brownie. Breakfast was very flavorful and large portioned.

We have stayed at the Terra Nova House many times over the past three years. Our daughter attends Grove City College, and we have had occasion to come for numerous events and except for one time because of rooms already booked, we have always stayed at the B&B. Ryan has always been friendly and accommodating and makes incredible breakfast selections. The rooms are clean and feature everything you need. The common room is also nice and very welcoming. The extras include snacks, 24-hour coffee/tea/beverage, mini-fridge space, local brochures and coupons, and a very easy to navigate website. We have really enjoyed staying at Terra Nova and getting to know Ryan. We will miss it after our daughter graduates . . . but if we come anywhere near Grove City in the future, we will definitely try and stay at Terra Nova House. Highly, highly recommended! Thank you Ryan!

My friend convinced me to try a B and B on our recent cross border shopping spree and after staying at Terra Nova House, I'm a convert. Our host, Ryan, went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. From greeting us at our car, to bringing in our luggage, to the tour of the beautiful clean house, to letting us choose any empty room we liked, to the fruit, cheese & chocolate plate & brownie, to the many snacks and drinks on every floor, to the delicious breakfast, we received much more than we expected. To top it off, after we left, Ryan tracked us down in town to bring us two items that my friend had left behind. How cool is that? I can't wait to go back.

Ryan & Molly think of all the details and make every effort to make your stay comfortable. Loved the special touches like fruit/cheese plate, chocolate and brownie for snacks, and a full breakfast served on linen was delicious!

I read reviews online prior to making our reservation and everyone was right! This is a must stay at Bed and Breakfast. Ryan goes above and beyond with communication. The evening snack plate and special treat were a welcome delight. We stayed in the British Empire room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. An added bonus was Grove City College had fireworks after their evening football game and we had a birds eye view from our room for their spectacular display. There are snacks and drinks in the parlor available 24/7 along with drinks available on each floor. The breakfast was fabulous and we were served as soon as we sat at the table. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This was a perfectly lovely place. It was charming and beautiful. We stayed in the top suite room. Ryan and the staff could not have done more to make our stay better. The food was great but the hospitality was beyond any expectations. The afternoon snacks of chocolates and fruits,I and the lemon tart.. Wow!! what more can I say. We celebrated our 50th annivesary there.these last 2 days. Could not have been better. All. The little shops and Wendal August made it even better. Ryan did not know it was our anniversary. So fabulous!! Dale and Irene

My fiance and I stayed at Terra Nova House B&B. Our first time at any B&B. Ryan was a perfect host, helping me make this the best birthday weekend my fiance ever had. He was kind and allowed a late check in as we had to come from nearly 400 miles away. Breakfast we absolutely perfect, my other half is a chef and very picky about his food, he absolutely adored the breakfasts we were served and is even replicating the recipes as breakfast specials at his restaurant. Coffee, snacks, movies, we couldn't ask for more. The atmosphere was very friendly, clean and peaceful. We had the opportunity to meet Ryan's beautiful wife and children, very lovely family. He offered to help us with anything we needed and was even nice and helped us carry our bags up. We are definitely staying at Terra Nova House again this summer. We have been talking about doing this every summer from now on. We definitely enjoyed our stay. In our opinion, 5 stars is not enough justice for Terra Nova House B&B.

The Caribbean room was outstanding. The Terra Nova was an oasis after 2 days of driving and one icky hotel room. The service and breakfast were wonderful! Thank you Ryan for following your passion and sharing your story.

We just got home from our time at Terra Nova and I wanted to review RIGHT AWAY! Terra Nova is BY FAR the best B & B I have stayed in. I am usually a bit disappointed when I visit a B & B because it is different from the web site. In this case, though, the web site will never do justice to this B & B. The innkeeper has owned this B & B for three years and he is a quick learn. He anticipated EVERY need you might have and had accommodated for those needs. Squeaky clean and fresh smelling, neat & organized, tasty snack centers, coffee stations, great food and he is expanding --we got a sneak peak! Amazing family suite and additional room. Good thing, because he is going to be very busy. My husband and I visit Grove City because our son is in college, but he is graduating and we were lamenting that we might not get to go back. However, we decided that the drive is worth the B & B....we will DEFINITELY go back again. Great job Ryan Mercer!

Amazing how Ryan has paid attention to details of guests' needs! My husband and I stayed for an overnight getaway and immediately fell in love with Terra Nova and all its charm and hospitality! We can't say enough about the comfortable atmosphere, the over the top breakfast (yum), the nightlights, snacks, cheese chocolate and grape plate, and can't forget the awesome brownie for two! We're looking at a future date to stay!
5 on February 17, 2014
What a fantastic experience! We have stayed with Ryan twice, while visiting Grove City College. Ryan and the staff were simply wonderful. Everything was clean, quiet, and well managed. He even cleaned the overnight snow off our car in the lot! All of our needs were well thought out and planned for. And then there was the breakfast - the meal was cooked to order and to perfection. I simply can't say enough nice things about Ryan and the entire experience at Terra Nova house.

We stayed at Tara Nova and they have really thought of everything. Wine glasses and opener, flashlights, Kerig coffee machine upstairs and down. We have stayed at many B&B,s and this is the first one to ever give us choices for breakfast, selected the night before. The best part was communication, right down to the check out procedure," all we need is a handshake and the key ". Don't miss an opportunity to try this one, you will be glad you did. We will return!

I have only had the pleasure of staying at the Terra Nova house just once. However, it will be a night a remember for the rest of my life. I have proposed to my fiancé there. Ryan, was more than accommodating throughout the entire process. I spoke to him on the phone and explained what I was doing and he was more than willing to help out anyway possible to make it an unforgettable evening. The place was great. The rooms have their own theme and they very nicely kept. Extremely clean and in great condition. The food, was amazing. "Hats off to the chef" as they say. Not to mention they had an incredible amount of k-cups, and snacks around to keep you satisfied. If you are considering staying anywhere else in grove city, don't. No need to look any further. The Terra Nova House has changed the way I view B&Bs forever, and will for you as well.

We had our first night away in 2 years and picked the Terra Nova House. Fantastic choice! We were very comfortable, enjoyed the little extra's and the service was perfect. We had a quiet evening, pleasant sleep, and breakfast was phenomenal! We highly recommend staying here. We also did some shopping in grove city and Ryan gave us a number of coupons and recommendations that really made our trip that much better. We appreciated our getaway and are looking forward to going back soon!

My wife and I decided to get a head start on Christmas shopping and celebrate our birthdays in Grove City. Typically when we go away together we look for a B&B. On this trip we selected Terra Nova House. Over our long weekend we were very happy with service and amenities. Everything was well maintained and clean, Location was easy to find and convenient to get to Outlet locations. Ryan was very helpful suggesting local places to eat and even provided information on a day trip to Pittsburgh. Breakfast choices were delicious and were given evening snacks and treats to share each night. Overall was a great stay. We would highly recommend staying at Terra Nova House when traveling to Grove City, PA. Dana & Mindy

Fellow Traveler, If you are ever in the area of Grove City, Penn. you owe it to yourself to stay at Terra Nova House Bed & Breakfast on West Poplar Street. My wife and I are Ryan’s guest every time we are in the neighborhood. It is by far the best and friendliest place to relax and rest. It is our “home away from home”. Everything is attended to in great detail. Terra Nova is not only immaculate, comfortably elegant and welcoming but Ryan also serves an outstanding home made breakfast in the morning. There is always a delicious fresh brownie waiting for you when you arrive and there are many other treats that you just don’t find in first class hotels or any other B&B. Terra Nova is in a class by itself. It is first class all the way and priced at a very affordable rate. If anyone wants to know what a real five star stay is like, you must visit Terra Nova, Grove City. It’s an absolute winner. November 14, 2013

I was truly amazed at all the little extras the innkeeper provided, especially the nightly fruit/cheese plate, the amazing baked goods available in the afternoon/evening, the huge assortment of complimentary snacks, and the variety of choices for breakfast each day. I also liked having the choice of time for my breakfast. Such a nice little perk!
5 on September 04, 2013
We stayed a couple of nights and had a great experience. The rooms are clean and have all the comforts of home. The breakfast: different every day and each day was better than the one before. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone who plans on visiting the Grove City area. You will not be disappointed.

Ryan & Molly are thoughtful and constantly working to improve their guests' experiences! They offer a variety of breakfast options cooked from scratch, as well as Keurigs and snacks. Rooms are cleaned every day, and carpets, matresses, etc. are regularly steamed. I really enjoyed my stay at the Tera Nova House. Well worth the trip.

This was our first stay in a B&B and apparently we picked one of the best. It's a very nice house with interesting rooms (at least the ones we saw) and a lot of charm. According to the other more experienced B&B vacationers Ryan runs a top notch establishment and we may have spoiled ourselves if we stay in other B&B's in the future. He's a super friendly guy and seems to really enjoy running the TNH. He makes a really good breakfast (especially the Fruity Waffles). We'll definitely go back.

My husband and I stayed at the Terra Nova House for a quick getaway weekend. We had been there many years ago and thought that we would give it another shot. Our stay this time was much improved from our first experience. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He was willing to go above and beyond to make us comfortable. He even called a restaurant to set up dinner reservations. I especially like the complimentary coffee, fruit and cheese tray and baked goods. Ryan was very personable and helpful throughout our stay. I liked the choices of three options for breakfast-and the portions were more than filling. My husband and I look forward staying there again sometime in the future!

Attention to details earned Terra Nova House at least five stars in every category. Most exceptional was the service. We brought a party of four generations for a local reunion. It was the great-grandmother's first bed and breakfast experience. It will be a challenge to match!
5 on July 18, 2013
If all B&B's were like the "Terra Nova House", I would never stay at a hotel chain again. What a wonderful experience in every category. I've never met a more gracious host than Ryan Mercer. Tom & Judy Brown Rising Sun, MD

This was our first experience ever staying at a bed and breakfast, but we decided to give it a try since the online reviews were so great, and the experience exceeded our expectations! Ryan could not have been a better host, he always made sure we had everything we needed, but went above and beyond, from offering to make dinner reservations, to checking traffic reports for our route, to insisting on carrying our luggage to our car. He was very professional, yet super hospitable. We stayed in the British Empire room. We really enjoyed the décor and the room was absolutely immaculate (with a newly remodeled bathroom as well.) The breakfasts were so delicious and the portions so generous we had to skip lunch! The extra thoughtful touches such as a dessert from a local bakery and the fruit and cheese tray prepared for us as well as a stocked fridge and Keurig were just the icing on the cake. You will be treated like royalty at the Terra Nova! Ryan certainly went out of his way to make our stay perfect. When we get the chance we will definitely return!

Just stayed there for Canadian long weekend. The house and the old town are charming; the porches take you back to another time; the treats/refreshments are endless and the breakfast is amazing. We had the savoury selection on day one and then the sweet on day two. To die for! However, the most outstanding element is the host, Ryan. Talk about customer service. Welcoming, helpful with a great sense of humour. You could not ask for more. Sharon + Theresa X 2

As I always like to provide some "room for improvement" ideas in my reviews, However, we cannot find any for our stay at the Terra Nova. Beautiful and comfortable rooms, creative and delicious breakfasts with variety, cheese/fruit platters each day, snacks, security and great hospitality. Ryan was there when needed and offered great suggestions for things to do. Don't even think of not staying here if it is within the scope of your travels.

Our stay at Terra Nova House was a kick off to a mother and daughter road trip. Every detail was meet and exceeded. The charm of the house was quaint and very clean. The service was outstanding. From the abundance of snacks to the wonderful breakfast , movies, Netflix the list goes on. I work with hotels and this B&B offered more "bang for your buck" and made you feel like you were the only guests. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to having a truly enjoyable experience! Thank you Terra Nova!

My daughter and I stayed at Terra Nova House for two nights as part of a "mother-daughter getaway weekend." Ryan and staff could not have been more accommodating. He thought of everything, from flashlights if the power went out, to a cheese/fruit and chocolate tray for a snack. The breakfasts was delicious, the room was clean and quiet. While we spent most of our time at Grove City Outlets, Ryan encouraged us to explore downtown Grove City and area restaurants. I'm glad he did. The downtown area is quaint with some surprises. Nonni's and Tavern on the Square provided delicious home-made food. I liked how the local merchants support each other. In all, this was a winner! I strongly recommend.

My boyfriend brought me to Terra Nova House for my birthday. What a beautiful surprise. Ryan greeted us, and me with a Happy Birthday, that helped us immediately feel welcome. This was my first time at a B&B and this was outstanding. This is a beautiful little B&B tucked away in a nice little neighborhood. I know we will return and I will encourage my family and friends to visit too.

A wonderful stay on a quiet street was a great getaway for me. Ryan is very gracious and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Less fuss and more class. The complimentary fruit, cheese and chocolate plate was very nice after a hard day of shopping. The college and restaurants are within walking distance. Breakfast is fabulous- I recommend the waffles and fruit. My sister and I also appreciated the nicely furnished porches where we could relax. I will be recommending this B & B to our friends.

This place is the cream of the crop. Don't overlook the chance to get a very affordable massage right in your room! My massage therapist was professional, attentive, strong and silent! I will stay at Terra Nova House again...if I can get in...they are about to become the most popular B and B in the area, I'm certain of that.

We have stayed over the years at a number of B&Bs. This one rates very highly. The owner was very accommodating and anxious to please. We were offered three choices for breakfast. The breakfast we chose was nourishing and food was abundant. The entire B&B was tastefully decorated. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Terra Nova B&B.

If you want comfort, quality, and class in a Grove City stay, you can't do better than Terra Nova House. The Mercers have taken a beautiful Victorian home in a quiet neighborhood near the Grove City College campus and made it a place to relax, retreat, romance--and definitely eat. Their breakfasts present a remarkable variety of healthy and flavorful options, delivered in generous portions with real pizazz. Each sleeping room has a unique Atlantic World theme, with handsome and whimsical decor, and all the comforts of home--including Netflix subscriptions and a substantial book and DVD library. The public spaces are comfortable and available day and night--living room, coffee makers, refrigerators stocked with soft drinks and water, and a cornucopia of quality snacks, many fresh made. The Mercers are friendly and attentive without being obtrusive, and one feels safe, welcome and comfortable in their home. A real gem!

Pittsburgh, what are you waiting for? Not far from you is the delightful retreat any city dweller would love. Travelling around the area, while looking at colleges (including Grove City College), we discovered this quintessential B&B. It's not just quaint - it's first class. We stayed in the bright, cheerful Rose Room. All of the touches and furniture added to the atmosphere. The bathroom was newly redone. While keeping the feeling of the old house, the updated rooms and bathrooms are perfect. Ryan showed us the other rooms, too. They're all winners. Ryan makes a great breakfast (ordered the night before). We ate off of each others plate - I had the baked egg dish and my daughter had light waffles with fruit. This is truly a memorable B&B. As an Aspen, Colorado hotelier I can confidently say that this is a first class experience.

Ryan and Molly Mercer's Terra Nova House is a beautiful, peaceful, elegant B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay and plan to return many more times. Ryan makes you feel at home with endless hot drinks and snacks. The meat/cheese/chocolate plate with your name on it makes you feel like a celebrity. Our baked good for the evening was a rich chocolate drizzled brownie that melted in your mouth. Our stay in the British Empire Room made us feel like we were royalty living in England. The newly renovated bathroom was spacious and beautiful! The bed was extremely comfortable and cozy. The selection of food for breakfast was impressive. You were allowed as many sides as you wanted. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. My in-room massage was very relaxing and comfortable. Ryan's professionalism, knowledge and kindness are very appreciated. He made dinner reservation for us and had printed directions for the restaurant. Ryan and Molly's love for B&B's is very evident in the way they run theirs. It's very nice to see people pursuing and loving their passion. May God Bless the Terra Nova House family and all their guests!

Our stay at Terra Nova was brief--only overnight--but it was a memorable experience. Ryan, one of the owners, was especially attentive to all the details surrounding our visit, and was pleasant and professional. The house itself is beautiful and quiet, considering it's right in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Ryan made reservations for us at a local Italian restaurant, which we thoroughly enjoyed. There were snacks and drinks available, and our breakfasts were delicious. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Molly and Ryan are third family we have known to own this beautiful home. Our recent visit was absolutely the best! I miss the big round table from the Cliff and Janice days, but the dining experience was very warm and cozy! Exceptional amenities and very accommodating to our specific needs. The pumpkin waffles were perfect and bacon cooked just how I like it. Fruit, cheese, and chocolate plate as well as muffins, and snacks were unexpected but greatly appreciated. Look forward to next visit!

We loved our stay stay at the Terra Nova House Bed & Breakfast - Ryan Mercer (Inn Keeper) saw to every detail - to make sure our stay was perfect - and he succeeded. 24-hour coffee and tea, huge chocolate brownie waiting for us, cheese, grapes and chocolates ready for when we wanted them. This place is a MUST VISIT!!! We will be back!

We stayed at the Terra Nova in early September over our anniversary. We had been there a summer before for a reunion. We liked it then but now there are new younger owners and it is even better! We loved the Keurig coffee that was available anytime. You are provided w/ a breakfast menu and you can choose from several items. The only problem there was to pick one. We were glad we were there for 2 nights. Everything is immaculate. Our room provided 2 terry cloth robes. The location is perfect...quiet and close enough to walk to the charming downtown and if you are a walker you can walk as far as the college campus. Grove City College is one of the most beautiful small college campuses anywhere! Also the community park is a short walking distance too. We hope to be able to return again for another visit.

We have stayed at numerous B&B's during our 43 years of marriage, but none compared to the Terra Nova House. From the house itself to the owners hospitality, EVERYTHING was exceptional. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, the food was wonderful, the snacks and coffee provided were a surprise, and the atmosphere was serene. Given the chance, enjoy the opportunity to stay at this quaint place.

There is a peace of mind instilled when you see things taken care of and clean – a sense that someone cares. That notion was confirmed for us when we came back to the B&B to find little niceties waiting for us and when we came down for breakfast and found ourselves so well taken care of, down to the details. We left with a sense of satisfaction that every dollar we spent for our stay was returned in the way of service. So nice to see people who love what they do.

Terra Nova House is our home away from home. Ryan and Molly know how to make guests feel comfortable. On arrival you are treated to a platter of fresh fruit and chocolate. Tea, coffee, water and snacks are available as well. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Ryan offers a breakfast choice of sweet or savory (best to stay two days in order to try both dishes), juice and a side dish - yum ! I'll be disappointed when our daughter graduates from GCC, we'll just have to find another reason to stay at Terra Nova House which won't be difficult. Ray and Mary L, NJ

We have stayed in several B&B's and this was by far the best. The rooms were detailed and charming. The location was super convenient to the downtown (walked to a lovely Italian restaurant one night), as well as the outlet mall (a 5-10 minute drive). The food was outstanding, catored specifically to you (including gluten free selections), with a variety of choices for breakfast, and even a choice of time. Above all, the hosts, Ryan and Molly, were incredibly welcoming and intent on making your stay comfortable and memorable. I will definitely stay again and have already recommended it to friends and collegues.

This was a very pleasant, relaxing experience for my husband and me! This B&B was wonderfully appointed, clean and Ryan was a joy! Interesting to find such a refined B&B in Grove City! My husband liked the Krueg coffee machines (2!). Breakfast was fabulous! The initial welcome, the warm atmosphere of the home -- I just can't say enough. You will be treated like "royalty" from the moment you arrive until you leave!

Our two day stay at the Terra Nova House was a delightful experience. Ryan & Molly were outstanding hosts. The breakfasts were generous and delicious, and the all day/night availability of various snacks ensured that we never went hungry. This, coupled with the fruit plate and dessert we received each evening and the always available coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soft drinks and juices, made our stay quite pleasant. This beautiful inn is very clean, and the rooms and baths are large and exquisitely decorated to the theme of each particular room. Upon departure Ryan notified us of problems on the road to the airport and worked up an alternate route that added only minutes to our trip. When we arrived home we had an email from Ryan thanking us for staying and telling us he had found something we had left behind that he would promptly mail it to us We had it in 3 days. We rate Terra Nova house among the very best B&B's that we have ever experienced.

Terra Nova House should be at the top of the list for the BEST B&B's . From the very warm Welcome by Ryan & Molly the wonderful touches such as a fruit plate to welcome the guests, the tastefully decorated rooms with the finest of furnishings. Ryan's superb culinary talents. Breakfast was a real treat and so plentiful and delicious, we did not have room for lunch. The personalized touches.....home baked cakes and brownies in the late afternoon, endless snacks, coffee, tea, soft drinks and juices, made me think I was on a cruise. Rachel's Roadhouse Eatery (Recommended by Ryan) was an excellent place for dinner.....you must go before 6.00 p.m. if you are pressed for time, as the place fills up quickly. Would highly recommend Terra Nova House as a great place to stop for those travelling south to Pittsburg/Washington from Ontario Canada Excellent Value for the money.

This was a very pleasant stay. The host took great care of our special dietary needs, the great selection of coffees, teas, snacks and goodies was a welcome surprise. Highly recommended.

Our stay during the week-end of July 6 to 8, 2012 was a "get-away" to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. We can't say enough about the Mercers' hospitality and friendliness. Ryan conducted a quick yet welcoming check-in, even making a dining reservation for us once he had discovered that we hadn't had dinner yet. He carried our luggage to the British Empire room, where the nameplate next to the door bore our first names with the titles of "King" and "Queen". There was a generous plate of delicious fresh fruit and a home-made brownie awaiting us each evening. And a Keurig coffeemaker on both floors, with more snacks than you can imagine! Each of the 3 daily choices for breakfasts was as mouth-watering and plentiful as the other. Our compliments to the chef! The music softly playing in the background as we ate brought back wonderful memories---not at all the elevator music we so often hear! The home itself is very welcoming, with its "country" colors, lovely decor and furnishings, and a wrap-around porch. We certainly plan to spend more get-away week-ends at the Terra Nova House in the future!

The absolutely only regret I have associated with my visit at the Terra Nova B&B is not being able to have stayed longer! My mother and I enjoyed two fantastic nights there earlier this week and I have already recommended it to all my friends and work associates. Ryan and Molly are warm, welcoming, and abundantly accommodating. They went over and above to ensure our comfort and meet all our needs. We were pleasantly surprised with the plentiful snack stations and delightful pastries and baked goods made available to us in addition to the personal fruit and chocolate plates we received each night. The house was kept in immaculate condition and was extremely cozy and peaceful. Although we very much enjoyed the quiet of the mornings on the large sunny wrap-around porch, the accessibility of the Wi-Fi and TV, which was equip with blue ray and Netflix, was a perfect balance for us. And lastly, the food is nothing short of gourmet. It is made fresh and prepared at the time of your choice and is truly PHENOMENAL! We had such a wonderful time and neither of us can wait to come back again!

With it being our first stay at a bed & breakfast we were not sure of what to expect. Terra Nova House in Grove City far exceeded our expectations. What a delightful adventure we had in the most charming, comfortable and meticulous surroundings. We did not have to ask for a thing as everything we could possibly want was at our fingertips! Ryan and Molly, the Innkeepers, were kind and showed a warm welcome and we were so pleased to have met them. Ryan's breakfasts were scrumptious, too! Their devotion to their establishment shows itself everywhere. Whether we decided to have coffee and read on the front porch or balcony, play a board game, or watch a movie with snacks, it was the most relaxing weekend we have had in many years. We have decided that Terra Nova House will be our first choice to celebrate special occasions or just have a peaceful retreat. We send our thanks to Ryan and Molly and wish them continued success! My husband and I stayed at Terra Nova House over Memorial Day Weekend this year. We were in Grove City to visit my 92 year old mother who lives in College View Tower just a few blocks away. Everything about our stay was superb. The home is immaculate and the furnishings have all the comforts of home. We had a menu from which to choose breakfast each morning. I tried something different each day and each meal was delicious. The food is cooked to order and prepared fresh daily. In addition, there are snacks and beverages available for your consumption throughout the day. Ryan also prepares a fresh fruit plate and pastry for each guest as a late afternoon/early evening snack each day. Enough said about the food...on to the room itself. We stayed in the British Empire room. It has a king size bed and private bath. My husband said the sheets were the most comfortable sheets he has slept on in his entire life. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The decor of the room suitably matches that for which it is named. Our stay was a genuine 5 star experience across the board. We will definitely stay at Terra Nova House again when we return to Grove City. Thank you Ryan and Molly for making us "at home away from home". Carol and Joe Ball San Francisco, California

My wife and I recently stayed at the Terra Nova House in Grove City, PA for a getaway the weekend before our 20th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay again! The room was absolutely delightful with theme decorations and reading materials. We were pleasantly surprised by the evening brownies and fruit that we found outside our room on check-in. The entire house was emaculate and it was obvious that Ryan and Molly care about their guests. We highly recommend the Terra Nova House to anyone looking for a B&B in the Grove City area. My wife and I love the experience of staying at Terra Nova. The owners put extra effort at every turn to make sure we had a great experience. Breakfast was incredible, snacks, the room, etc. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Terra Nova. Everything was extremely clean and cozy. The innkeepers, Ryan and Molly, were very genuine and personable. They go above and beyond other B&B's. You have (delicious!) choices for your breakfast and are treated to things like in-room Blu-ray/Netflix, fruits & chocolates, a giant brownie to share, access to coffee/tea/snacks at any time...truly amazing! It feels like they've thought of all the fine details and it made us feel like we were truly being pampered throughout our stay. Can't wait to go back!

Five of us stayed overnight and were very impressed with the charm of Terra Nova House. Ryan and Molly went above and beyond with their service. The food was delicious and little extras were everywhere with snacks, a fruit plate, brownie, and a Keurig on each floor with many flavors of coffee and teas to choose from. In the morning I enjoyed my coffee on a lovely little balcony overlooking some beautiful landscaping. Ryan was very helpful in suggesting places to eat and giving us directions. He told us of updates he is planning for Terra Nova. It all sounds great. We had lots of fun shopping at the Grove City Outlets and Terra Nova House was very convenient. We'd love to stay again. My daughter is thinking of returning with her husband to celebrate their anniversary. I also hope to return. Marlene

We loved Terra Nova House. It is a beautifully restored house on a quiet, tree-lined street. The bed in our room was extremely comfortable and the sheets so soft they felt like silk. Nice touches included a fruit and chocolate plate for each room, our name on the wall beside our door, coffee and tea always available, warm apple cake waiting in the upstairs hallway, and many other nice details. The innkeeper is friendly and ready to please his guests. I would highly recommend this inn.

We love the Terra Nova House and the new owners are great. Ryan is a great cook. Love the new breakfast menu. (You get to pick what you want!) We are looking forward to when the room with the king size bed gets its bathroom expanded. Also looking forward to the room across the hall becoming a room with a king sized bed. You got it, we like king sized beds. It was a wonderful addition to have snacks and drinks available and we thought the fruit and chocolate plate and the huge complimentary (to die for) brownie we got to share were above and beyond what we were used to. Having Netflix was also nice. We watched a movie in the morning while we were getting ready and packing to go. We go to Terra Nova on on wedding anniversary and then skip over to Rt 19 in Mercer and have dinner at the Springfield Grill (They have the best food). It was a great anniversary weekend. Deb and Joe

This beautifully kept home, close to Grove City College, is a perfect place to stay when in the area. The breakfast was delicious and generous. We look forward to returning to Terra Nova.

During our recent stay at Terra Nova House, we were treated to excellent service and many extras which made our stay so pleasant. The fruit plates each evening were so refreshing and we appreciated being able to communicate so readily with Ryan. We were asked frequently throughout the weekend if we needed anything. One evening we brought our daughter, who is a student at Grove City College, and a friend over to play games and were even offered dessert!! We would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast and plan to return again.

A great place to stay got even better! As GCC alumni we get together twice a year to reminisce, catch-up, and shop. Terra Nove B&B has been our choice for the last several years and we couldn't be happier. The rooms are very nice and the food and service are great. Ryan and Molly are terrific hosts! Can't wait to go back in the fall to see what other improvements they make.
5 on April 26, 2012
Ryan went out of his way to make sure we were very comfortable. The little extras were great like beverages, snacks and the breakfast was outstanding. He set up a massage and dinner for us the day before we were coming because I falied to plan when I booked the room. The room was very clean and the place was very quiet even with other guests in rooms on the same floor. We would stay again when the need comes up. HH

We stayed at Terra Nova House last week while visiting Grove City College. We enjoyed our room, however, it was the extra touches made the Terra Nova stand out. From pastries upon arrival (including a huge brownie for our son!) to the ever-ready vast coffee selection, along with the large video library (which we used), we were very impressed. But it was the breakfast that really "wowed" us. Ryan did a beautiful job preparing and presenting the breakfast we had ordered the night before. It was outstanding! Well done, Terra Nova House!

I just returned from a very relaxing weekend with knitting friends. Terra Nova House was a perfect location for us. Ryan and Molly made sure we had comfortable seating and good lighting. The food was delicious. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and pleasantly decorated. We chose Grove City because it is centrally located for our group. We will return to Terra Nova again!

Ryan was a delightful host. The rooms are cozy and immaculate; many comforting touches like coffee/beverages and delicious snacks were made available on same floor as rooms so you don't have to trek through the house for a midnight craving. Bed was comfortable and the pillows perfect--not those rock hard foam things. Would definitely recommend it and would definitely go back.

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast and the innkeepers have done a great job to make it authentic and very comfortable. Everywhere we went was immaculate! Ryan and Molly have obviously found their niche and, although new to the B&B community, are obviously very happy with their newfound purpose. They could not have been more helpful or fun to interface with. One of the most incredible things they do is to prepare your breakfast from a menu which you submit the night before. This is very detailed, including side dishes and beverages so that they are ready when you are. My husband and I have stayed at many B&B's around the country and have NEVER had this option. It's a lot more work for them, but it's something that they want to do for us. The rooms and bathrooms are not big, but they are more than sufficient in size, and they are very comfortable. They have Keurig coffeemakers upstairs and down which are always available, and they have upscale teas as well. They also have snacks available, and a daily fruit plate for each room with chocolate in the guest refrigerator upstairs. They treat you like family, only better! We'll be back!

As this is our second stay the new owners (Ryan and Molly) made some really good changes, A fruit for their guests, A variety of snacks and beverages, I really liked the pastries that were put out for their guests to enjoy. Ryan was very helpful for information on where to eat (Nonni's was great) Groove city outlet mall is only afive minute drive away. I will recommend staying at Terra Nova house to my friends Thanks

Wonderful first visit. Ryan was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The available coffee, tea, drinks and snacks were more than we've ever seen at a B&B. Extra little details (fruit and chocolate plate) were unexpected. The room was very nice, breakfast was great, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our first visit to Terra Nova. Ryan even brushed the newly fallen snow from our car in the morning! We're very happy to recommend the Terra Nova House.

Loved the British Empire Room, Too bad there were only 5 stars to rate Terra Nova House, they deserve 10 stars. The place was squeaky clean, food was wonderful. The fresh fruit plate and home made goodies each night were a very nice and appreciated extra. We will recommend this place to everyone. Tom and Toni Phillips

This was our third year staying at the Terra Nova House. What an upgade from the previous years. We stayed in the British Empire Room the king size bed was very comfortable and clean the only done size is the bathroom is very small. But I would pick that room again due to the comfort and decor is more important to me than the bathroom size. There is a beverage/snack center on the 1st and 2nd floors available 24 hours a day. It is nice to have a hot cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate available coming in on a cold night after dinner. The home cooked breakfasts were delicious with a variety of food. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend the Terra Nova House. Don't miss staying here on your next visit to Grove City. I would not stay any other place! The new inn keepers Ryan and Molly are very friendly and go out of thier way to make you feel at home.

This was our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast. The house is charming. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in the North Atlantic room which is quaint and quite comfortable. When we arrived we were treated to fresh fruit and chocolate. Our breakfast included french toast with baked apples and crumb topping. It was delicious. Ryan, the Inkeeper is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back.

This was our first stay at the Terra Nova House. It is a beautiful Victorian home located in a quiet neighborhood with off street parking. It is close to Grove City College, the Prime Outlets, and several excellent restaurants are nearby to choose from. Ryan and Molly, the innkeepers, were wonderful, friendly, and helpful hosts. They have two lovely children. The atmosphere is comfortable, relaxed, and homey. We stayed in the North Atlantic suite which is nicely decorated with a nautical theme. The room is comfortable, spacious, and toasty warm on a cold night. The bathroom is clean, large, and well lit. The whole house is very clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. There is a beverage/snack center on the 1st and 2nd floors available 24 hours a day. It is nice to have a hot cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate available coming in on a cold night after dinner. Our home cooked breakfasts were delicious with a variety of food. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend the Terra Nova House. Terra Nova House was easy to find and close to Grove City Outlet Mall. The British Empire room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very small especially for a man or a tall person. Breakfast portions were smaller than expected. I would change the menu. Would have liked to enjoy coffee before our breakfast, but the coffee maker was empty near our room. Snacks and other drinks would have been nice to be included in our stay, only bottle water was provided. Overall a good experience for the price and location.
Thank you for your specific feedback as it helps to serve our guests in the future. As the new owners/innkeepers of the Terra Nova House (12/9/2011), many of your suggestions will be implemented upon our 1/18/2012 re-openning. Plans are underway for a few new amenities. The 2nd floor beverage center will be expanded and include a Keurig machine for coffee/tea at any hour. A new 1st floor snack and beverage center will be added which will be stocked with goodies galore for an early breakfast or a midnight snack. All rooms will be equipped with an upgraded television, Blu-ray player and a shared movie library. Finally, in-room massages will be available (based on scheduling) by a local licensed massage therapist for the low rate of $55 per hour (either 1 full hour or 2 half-hours). We will also be looking at ways to increase the size of the bathroom in the British Empire room.

The Millers went above and beyond to meet expectations we had in our first ever experience at a bed and breakfast, it's not a surprise they've received the accolades they have recently, and they deserve plenty more.
5 on September 12, 2011
We chose to stay at the Terra Nova House to be close to Grove City College for a visitation of the school. We were met by Barry Miller and he was such a joy to speak with! Our room was just as described online (Golf room). The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and neat. The neighborhood is close to everything, yet quiet so you could sit outside and relax and listen to the birds or read. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent! My teenage daughter and I enjoyed speaking with the Millers about Grove City College, and the area. They offered restaurant recommendations to us as well. They do have a cat, but we kept the room door closed at all times, and when in common areas, I did not have any trouble with my allergies. We could not have had a better stay except for the weather being less rainy! :-) We highly recommend staying at the Terra Nova House, and will definitely be back.

This was our first time at a B&B and we weren't sure what to expect but we had a pleasant time at Terra Nova House. The house is very clean, the room was nice and the innkeepers (Barry and Sandy) were very informative and helpful in getting us around town. Their cat having the run of the house could be an issue for someone with allergies (like me), but I didn't have any problems during our stay. Now that we've had a positive experience for our first time in a B&B, I would do it again and would recommend visiting this one in particular.

It was simple but charming and absolutely immaculate. The host and hostess were very friendly as were the resident pets who greeted us. Our breakfast was delicious. This unpretentious bed and breakfast far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely make return visits!

Once again, Barry and Sandy were the perfect hosts. My son and I stayed for a couple of nights in January on our way to Austin. We couldn't have asked for more and have had the same consistent quality each of the many times I have stayed at Tera Nova House.

This was our second visist to Grove City and to Terra Nova House. We had a great time once again, Sandy & Barry are so hospitable. Barry went above and beyond what is required from a B&B owner. If it wasn't for him we would not have made it homw on time and we would have been much lighter in the pocket book. Our car did not start while we were at a gas station. We do not have CAA so I called Barry. He came down to the station boosted our car then charged our battery all night and we made it safely back to Ontario the next day (after breakfast of course). You would never get that type of service at a hotel/motel. Breakfast is so delicious and creative and just the right portions everytime. They encourage people to get to know each other and both times we met really nice people to talk with and share tips about shopping. We will definetly be going back probably in the summer!

I've stayed at one other b&b before and the Terra Nova House by far exceeded my expectations! The breakfast was delicious and the innkeepers both informative and as sweet as can be. We may make this a annual stay. I highly recommend!

Many B&B's provide a hairdryer in the bathroom. That might be a nice addition to your hospitality.

The entire stay was most enjoyable. The food was exquisite!! We enjoyed everything about this place. It was like a home away from home, right down to the Molly the golden retriever. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the rooms are very quaint, and homey. We will definately be back. Thanks Sandy and Barry for a wonderful time. The Schaefers

We stayed on 11/10/2010 at the Terra Nova House for the B&Bs for Vets promotion that the innkeepers participated in. What a great night! Barry and Sandy treated us excellently, the food was great, the rooms were comfy and clean, and because of the promotion our night was free! How awesome! I would definitely recommend staying with the Millers any time you get the chance. It was wonderful!

My husband(who is an Iraq veteran) found out that the Terra Nova B&B were participating in the program where veterans got a free night stay. We were so impressed with the lovely rooms and the wonderful hospitality. Barry and Sandy were even so kind to give all of the families a gift certificate to a local restraunt. We were also very charmed by the communal pets Jada & Molly. We look forward to another stay in the future and some more good cooking!!

What a nice time we had at Terra Nova. I have never been to a bed and breakfast and Barry and Sandy were awesome hosts, very accomadating and pleasant to be around. The rooms were excellent and all in all, everyone had a very nice time. I certainly would recommend this bed and breakfast and if I come back to the area, I know where I'll be staying!! Marcia M

We really enjoyed our stay with Barry & Sandy! They are the consumate host and hostess. They had excellent dinner and sightseeing suggestions for us. The only downside would be the size of our bathroom. Next time we would look at another room. We definetly look forward to visiting with them again soon!

Our annual shopping trip to Grove City is not complete without a stay with the Millers at the Terra Nova House. We've been returning for several years now, and have never been disappointed. The hospitality is outstanding, breakfeast very enjoyable, and the place incredible. We would not consider staying elsewhere.

I am one of a group of 6 friends who met at Grove City College and return to the town twice a year for a get-away reunion and shopping spree at the nearby outlets. We have been staying at Terra Nova House for the past few years and each time are thoroughly pleased with the inn, the innkeepers, not to mention the fantastic breeakfasts. It is such a treat for us "girls" to get away and know that we are returning in approximately 6 months to see not only each other but to visit with Sandy, Barry, Molly and Jada!

My wife and I met with our best friends for a weekend at the Terra Nova House. We live in Easton, PA and our friends live in Lousiville, KY so somewhere north of Pittsburgh was close to halfway for both of us. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and thoroughly enjoyed Barry and Sandy's hospitality. Our room was immaculate, food was excellent, they even have a golden retriever in case you miss your own pet.

The Terra Nova House is a beautiful B&B - the restoration/decorating is beautiful and period appropriate. I had the North Atlantic Room (and for one night the Caribbean) and it was gorgeous! The Caribbean was also great. Rooms were clean and neat and very comfortable. I felt at home right away. Great amenities - free wireless, cable, etc. Nice quiet street. Big homey porch to relax on. Barry & Sandy are amazing hosts - so friendly and welcoming and genuinely focused on their guests' needs. I wanted a place to walk and they recommended the park nearby which was just gorgeous! Molly & Jada are also very friendly & welcoming and that added to the cozy, warm feeling. Breakfasts - wow! Delicious food, perfect portion sizes and the other guests were great company. I enjoyed meeting different people each morning. Thanks so much Barry & Sandy! I felt welcome and at home and very relaxed and I'll definitely be back!

Barry and Sandy know how to make people feel comfortable and welcome in Grove City! We were on our way to go shopping at Grove City's Prime Outlets, and we're glad we picked this B&B! The room came with its own private bath and both were spotless- I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the room as well as the whole house! As for breakfast, I've had bigger breakfasts elsewhere, but this breakfast made up for its size in the great taste!

Didn't know what to expect but was more than pleasantly surprised. Accomodations were above and beyond and hospitality was at it's best. Barry and Sandy were not only friendly and gracious but made us feel right at home. We felt as if we had made new friends. We highly recommend this B&B. It was more than a pleasant experience, and the food was excellent. Sandy and Barry can both cook!

I have stayed in many B&B's in several states and Terra Nova house met all my expectations. I've stayed in other B&B's that offered some extra special services but for the price, it would be unrealistic to expect much more. What made the stay at Terra Nova the best was their cat Jada. She visited with me and my husband in the morning before we went to breakfast. I would stay at Terra Nova again to visit with Jada.

we recently stayed at Terra Nova House for the first time and had a fabulous stay. Barry and Sandy are definitely doing what they are meant to do; they provided excellent service our entire stay, and were so friendly. They are attentive to every detail. Room was immaculate. Breakfast delicious; thanks for a memorable stay!!

We have been staying here for almost 2 yrs. while our son is attending Grove City college. We always book here as long as a room is available. Barry and Sandy are great company and very accommodating. The home is very clean and comfortable. They are always cooking up something special for breakfast and you know it is going to be good. We have stayed at other B&Bs and this one definitely takes the cake! Enjoy your stay at Terra Nova House!

Not only is it a fine place to stay, the Innkeepers made us feel so at home. We stayed for two nights in the British Empire Room, the decor was amazing. Our breakfasts were delicious. Mr. and Mrs. Miller were congenial and so helpful. Our daughter chose this B&B, she chose the best!
5 on August 25, 2010
We're regulars at Terra Nova House, visiting mom in our home town of Grove City several times a year. We've stayed at all the B&Bs in GC several times over the years, and none of them come close to Barry and Sandy's place. Breakfast is always refined but simple, never over the top. The Victorian house is tasteful, spotless and as comfortable as can be. Jada the cat made instant friends with our daughter, and all the Millers are warm and accommodating. You won't do better than this, anywhere you go. Odd thing -- their Australian flag sports the North Star -- who would think? Enjoy your stay at Terra Nova House!

We had just settled our youngest daughter into her room at Notre Dame and were not looking forward to the 10 hour drive back home to Pa., especially since it was our 39th wedding anniversary. We decided to break up the trip by stopping at a B&B. Quickly researching the area to be traveled on the internet, we discovered the Terra Nova House and decided to give it a try. We have enjoyed staying at B&B's in various parts of the country. We found Barry and Sandy to be welcoming and our room to be even more delightful than pictured on their site. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed swapping stories with the couple at our table, who had just settled their daughter into Grove City College. More conversation was enjoyed in talking to Barry and Sandy about their experiences in inn keeping while I enjoyed petting Molly their dog. Our experience there was A+ and we are looking forward to staying there again on our next trip west.

Everything was so well put together, and of course, the English Rose Room gave the finishing touch to making our stay ever more pleasant with its immaculate washroom, spacious bedroom and the warmth of the decor. Your hospitality and cuisine were excellent and we hope to return to your wonderful B&B soon. Again, thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

Our family stayed at Terra Nova House on June 25th of 2010 for the Grove City College Orientation Program. We had a great experience that included fantastic food, friendly and knowledgeable hosts, and a spotless room! We are new to the Grove City experience and Barry and Sandy directed us to a great local restaurant, helped us with local directions and made one of our first visits to the area memorable and pleasant! We look forward to staying at terra Nova again in the fall! Well done, and after staying at several B & B's we feel that this one takes the prize! Residents from Richmond, Virginia.

Barry and Sandy were extremely accommodating during our one night stay July 7, 2010. Even though we made reservations last minute and arrived late in the evening Barry and Sandy were so welcoming. My husband and son shared one room, and my daughter and I shared another. The rooms were beautiful, quiet, and very clean. The bathroom was bright and well appointed. My daughter had never stayed in a Bed and Breakfast before. I would choose Terra Nova any day over a local hotel. Breakfast of pancakes and fresh fruit the next morning got our college visit off to a wonderful start. Thank you Barry and Sandy. Kristen in Colorado

My wife and I have never stayed at a B&B and we were reluctant to even try, but on my wife's birthday we scheduled a two night package and discovered what we have been missing. The owners could not do enough to make us welcome and the package included roses and candy . The roses were outstanding and the candy was from Daffins and marvelous. Also, eating at the Gallery Grille was outstanding. The other visitors were friendly as well. Needless to say--comfort, hospitality, personality and great food made the stay one in which my wife and I will return for more of the same. The experience for my wife's birthday was more than enjoyable. We rate it a 10 out of 10.

Don't be put off by some neighbouring houses that need a touch of paint, on the way to this attractive B & B. Perhaps the town should have a contest to bring homes up to the standard that the Millers have set! The destination was certainly worth it, and we had a lovely clean, pretty room (English Rose) and tasty food in the morning. The morning coffee in the hall with proper mugs was an appreciated touch as we got ready for our busy day. The owners are kind and attentive to every detail. We definitely would go again & have been telling friends about this little gem! We loved the July Fourth celebrations at the Christian College. The men's barbershop choir, the band and the amazing fireworks made our stay a wonderful event. Thanks to the Millers for suggesting we go! The shopping at the Outlet was awesome as well...great deals for Canadians! All in all, we had a great weekend!

A warm, friendly and inviting B&B. Our rooms, in fact the entire house is tastefully decorated and pleasant to be in, and very clean. The breakfasts (2) were very creative..not the usual muffins, eggs, etc.., and cooked by Barry...and delicious. We loved being able to sit on the front porch and enjoy a quiet evening, and early morning coffee which was provided using a fantastic coffee maker in the upper hall for our use. Sandy and Barry are wonderful friendly and helpful hosts. We would visit this B&B again when in the area, and recommend it to friends.

A beautiful, inviting, clean home; a warm welcome from Barry & Sandy; a clean, nicely decorated room; a comfy bed, very quiet neighbourhood and a tasty breakfast - who could ask for more? Barry & Sandy encourage their guests to mingle by having one serving time for breakfast and seating the guests at one table. We enjoyed meeting and chatting with Denny & Darlene from Ohio. Besides shopping at the Outlet Mall, we enjoyed some great golf.

We came to visit Grove City College with our daughter and had found Terra Nova via the college website. It turned out to be a delightful choice. Terra Nova is a lovely, quaint Bed & Breakfast. The rooms were very comfortable, roomy, and wonderfully decorated, and toasty warm as it was quite cold (in the 20's!) when we visited. Baths were very clean and spacious. Breakfasts were delicious with a variety of foods - great coffee. The best was talking with Barry and Sandy and enjoying their kitty, doggie, and lovely B&B.

The room was exceptionally nice, large and comfortable. We stayed in the North Atlantic room. But the most important part of our stay was Barry & Sandy. They are extremely hospitable and make you feel like a family member. They are eager to help in any way including what to do and were to eat. We booked all 5 guest rooms for the weekend of our daughter's wedding in Grove City. Sandy and Barry could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Nothing ever seems to go exactly as planned where weddings are involved - from torrential rain to blue skies in a matter of hours - but our desire to give our daughter a beautiful memory of where she stayed the days before her wedding, 2400 miles from home, was met perfectly. All her brothers could be there with her, as well as Mom and Dad and her godfather - priceless. (The pictures don't do the rooms justice!)

The rooms were great and the enjoyment of breakfast was only exceeded by the conversation with Barry and Sandy. This is the place to stay if you are visiting Grove City College or the outlets. Barry and Sandy were able to accommodate a last-minute change in our reservation as well as modify their breakfast schedule so we could get to a meeting on time. Stay once and Terra Nova House will be your home away from home.

We had some very specific needs during our stay and Barry and Sandy were exceedingly flexible and hospitable. We were thrilled!

We have stayed in many B & Bs in several countries, and Terra Nova ranks at the top. They were able to accommodate a change in our schedule with grace and style. The only thing we missed is catching sight of Jada!

Terra Nova was the perfect getaway! Whether you are just traveling from the big city of Pittsburgh or destinations further or closer, it was a wonderful destination!

Thanks for providing the resources for a most enjoyable 2-night stay, a really nice, totally comfortable bed and good conversation to boot. The only change I would make on my next stay at Terra Nova House would be to take the suite in order to get a bit more space in the bathroom. Otherwise, all was great and both of you (Sandy and Barry, TNH's hands-on Innkeepers) went out of their way to provide both all the amenities -- and a very tasty breakfast to start the day. This B&B is definitely the best rooming value in Mercer County. TNH is much better than the hassle and traffic/through the wall noise of the low-budget, cookie cutter, commercial hotels by the Prime Outlets. The benefits are easily worth the ten minute drive!

Room and bath were tasteful and very clean. Breakfasts were tasty (and even nutritious). Hosts were friendly, helpful, and professional.

Terra Nova House Bed and Breakfast is a 100+ year old Victorian that is a "stand out" amongst others. Comfortable, cozy and quiet. We enjoyed our hearty, made from scratch breakfast served by our amiable hosts. While their website says it all, seeing the furnishings in each room of this inn is a must. After staying at Terra Nova House Bed and Breakfast, you too will add it to your "Best in Category".

My girlfriend and I stayed in 4/09 and were taken with the charm of the house. Barry and Sandy were wonderful hosts, very informative on the local attractions and where to eat. Would recommend a weekend stay to anyone. And Barry serves a mean breakfast: definitely not your average meal!!

We had a lovely summer preview on our April 24th visit, with weather more like July. The room we were in was immaculate, and based on my husband's allergies' not acting up, devoid of all cat hair, even though a lovely persian cat resides at TNH. Barry and Sandy were most considerate of our needs, even deciding on the "blueberry surprise" breakfast based on our diet request. The dining room allowed for friendly conversations in a "homey" atmosphere. We had a wonderful time there!

My husband and I stayed at the Terra Nova House while our son visited Grove City College. We stayed in the Golfers Retreat which is tucked away on the third floor. Very quiet. Great location as the B & B is very close to the college. Barry and Sandy were very helpful with dinner plans and local attractions. This is the place to stay while in Grove City.

We had a great stay at the Terra Nova house. The room we selected was the North Atlantic Room. It had a log burning fireplace (Log provided), a huge bathroom, a couch, a sitting place, and great decor. The TNH is located in by a great outlet mall, great dining selections, and a cool little college town. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to specifications. We definately recommend this B&B

We stayed at the Terra Nova House the night of January 30th for a mid winter getaway. Friends of ours had given us a gift certificate for the holidays. I can't say enough about how welcoming and friendly Sandy and Barry were. The North Atlantic Room was so pleasant and clean. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The highlight for me was the visit by Jada the cat in the evening to make sure we were tucked in. She is quite the little charmer! Breakfast was home cooked and tasty. Thanks for the consideration of dietary restrictions. Very thoughtful. Overall, a great stay! I look forward to recommending this place to friends and staying again in the future.

My wife and I had the occasion to stay at the Terra Nova House on the 29th and 30th of January, 2009. We were very happy with our stay, and will make sure that we again make reservations for our next trip. Barry & Sandy worked diligently to ensure that we enjoyed our stay (despite 7 degree temps!). The two breakfasts that they prepared for us were excellent (and, according to my wife, so was the coffee!). The room we stayed in was lovely, and quite clean. The accolades that the Millers have garnered are based on hard work and friendliness. We look forward to our next visit. Regards, Bob & Charlene

We've stayed here as often as we could in our child's three years of college, and have never been disappointed. Barry and Sandy are warm, personable and helpful hosts, and the atmosphere is very "family-like" as we enjoy breakfast together. The helpers (usually college students) are very friendly too. The rooms are quiet, delightfully decorated and cozy (not very large, but comfortable), and prices are quite reasonable.

My son and I stayed at Terra Nova House so my son could complete his admissions interview at Grove City College. We stayed in the newly renovated Golfer's Hideaway, which was fun even though I'm not a golfer. We were greeted upon arrival by Barry and Sandy. They showed us around and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was great. The other guests were friendly. My son was well rested for his interview. If he gets in to Grove City College, we will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights, and from the time we booked our stay we knew we were dealing with a top-notch inn! The Millers are absolutely delightful - we talked for many hours through the course of the weekend. They truly make you feel at home. We stayed in two different rooms (our choice), and both were extremely clean, comfortable and inviting. The breakfasts were by far incredible! Barry is an excellent chef and Sandy is a marvelous host! And of course, Molly and Jada (their Golden Retreiver and adorable kitty) were delights as well! Overall, this place is a wonderful place to stay. The prices are reasonable, and the service above all expectation! Thanks, Barry and Sandy!

Terra Nova House is a charming and delightful B&B! The house is a beautiful Victorian home hidden away in the little college town of Grove City, PA. It is well-kept, clean and the Innkeeper's, Barry and Sandy Miller extend perfect hospitality. I have stayed in many B&B's and this home away from home is outstanding in every way!

We made reservations based on the internet website and an ad in the Grove CIty Outlet Mall paper. We were very pleased with our room, and the upkeep and cleanliness of the home. Barry and Sandy are gracious and we felt welcome. A good value for the price and a nice breakfast. The home is for sale and they are looking for someone to take over the bed and breakfast. This place seems to need nothing and is in wonderful condition. In this community there seems to be almost no competition. We really enjoyed Volant, Pennsyvania, a small community with shops, restaurants, a winery, and the old Mill which is being restored. Don't miss the Iron Bridge Restaurant or Rachels' Roadhouse; first class restaurants in the Mercer/Grove City area. We would recommend this B & B to everyone. John and Marilyn Snyder Huron, Ohio

My husband and I spent the most enjoyable night at Terra Nova House on 9/25/08. This was our first time in a bed and breakfast and could not have been more pleased. We were warmly greeted by Sandy upon our arrival and was given a tour of her beautiful home. We felt very comfortable during our overnight stay. The breakfast that was served to us by Sandy on 9/26/08 was excellant. And we felt right at home because of her furry critters that were very well behaved.

They provided information about the area that made our visit to the Grove City area very special. They listened to the purpose of our visit and guided us to interests that made our visit a possible life changing visit. We are very thankful for their time, knowledge and willingness to share.

The Terra Nova House is a wonderful place to stay. They really make you feel right at home. I was so comfortable staying there I almost hated to leave. The owners are friendly and helpful, and always ready to offer a cup of tea no matter what time it is. My favorite part was getting up early and having a cup of tea in the kitchen with them while breakfast was being prepared. I never felt as if I was intruding. They welcomed me right in with a smile.

I needed a place to stay on short notice after hearing about the death of a loved one to attend services. I had remembered passing by and looking at the Bed and Breakfast sign on an eariler visit to the area and chanced a call hoping for a vacancy. My stay was beyound my expectations, very comfortable. My stay during a difficult time made me looking forward to another visit on a happier note. The service was exceptional. Thank You!

This was a first time experience at a B&B for me and my husband and we had a wonderful time. We didn't know what to expect, but we felt at home and enjoyed the company of both Barry and Sandy. Barry even put out a Canadian Flag on our behalf which I was very honoured by; the food was outstanding! Barry and Sandy are great hosts, you can tell they love what they do and take pride in their business. If we make another trip to Grove City we will surely make another reservation at the Terra Nova house. For those going Pennsylvania for shopping be sure to take advantage of their "Shopping Spree" package!!!

All B&B's should model their service and hospitality after the Terra Nova House. From the lovely rooms, to the great breakfasts, to the friendliness of Barry and Sandy (not to mention Molly and Jada), this is the way it should be. Do yourself a favor and go there...you'll be glad you did.
5 on March 17, 2008
There is no way you cannot feel at home at Terra Nova. From the outstanding breakfast to the spacious rooms, Terra Nova is a must stay. You will be welcomed not only by Barry and Sandy, but also by Jada and Molly, the official Innkeepers in our opinion. If you are anywhere within the Grove City area you would foolish not to make a stop here.

Our stay at Terra Nova House was quite enjoyable and relaxing. Sandy and Barry were very hospitable hosts and made us feel at home. As pet lovers, we particularly enjoyed having Molly and Jada (the house pets) around to share our time. Good people, clean and safe accommodations, and parking on premises make Terra Nova House the place to stay in Grove City. We would certainly return.

My Husband and I stayed at the Terra Nova House this past weekend, and we had a wonderful time. Barry & Sandy are so nice and welcoming, and we enjoyed visiting with them. We stayed in the British Empire, which was very spacious and comfortable. The fresh coffee brewed right outside of our room in the morning, and was so good! Barry & Sandy treated us to a delicious breakfast in the morning, where we also met Molly and THE Princess, Jada. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

This was our 2nd stay at the B&B. It's so convenient to Grove City College where I son is a student. We stayed for a weekend about a year ago in the North Atlantic room. This year we stayed in the Britsh Empire room. Both rooms are very lovely and so different from one another. North Atlantic is a bit larger with a very large bathroom. But, I think we preferred the set up and decor of the British Empire room although the bathroom was a bit tight. Barry & Sandy are very welcoming hosts. The breakfasts were yummy and we had very pleasant conversations over our meals with the other guests. We would definitely return.

The Terra Nova House was a wonderful B&B to stay at for my 35th Homecoming Reunion. It met and or exceeded my expectations in every respect. When classmates heard I was fortunate to have a reservation at the Terra Nova House, they were envious. I plan to return for future Homecomings.

The innkeepers, Barry and Sandy, bend over backwards to meet or exceed your expectations. Our second stay, and we'll be back again.
4.4 on October 07, 2007
The most striking thing about our stay here was the hosts' willingness to work with us on a few extracurricular matters -- one-time use of the phone (with my phone card), provision of an extra pillow (we were supposed to ask, but didn't) and allowing one of us, who doesn't get around all that well, to use the "owners' only" downstairs bathroom ... just a gorgeous experience, and while we're not likely to come this way again, wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else if we did...
5 on October 02, 2007
Our first time in a B&B was a delightful experience. I would recommend the Terra Nova House over and over again. We were made to feel right at home as soon as we walked in the door. I was especially pleased with the room we stayed in and the bathroom-clean and comfortable. I will definetly be calling Barry and Sandy if head towards Grove City again.
4.8 on October 01, 2007
The Terra Nova House is our first choice of B&B in the Grove City Area. It is clean and comfortable and the food is excellent. Sandy and Barry are wonderful hosts who try to make their guests feel right at home. Of course there is always Molly and Jada, the inn owners delightful pets who are always in the background waiting for a warm hug -- well maybe just Molly. Jada is a bit more illusive but adorable nonetheless. You can't go wrong at Terra Nova House.

We were first timers staying in a B&B. We were pleasantly suprised by how much better it is than a hotel room. Barry and Sandy were delightful, and the dog and cat were sweet. We will definitely be staying here again. We have recommended it to many people.

My husband and I came from Toronto, caught up in the border btw US and Canada, but we could make it up by staying this wonderful B&B. The dog and cat are so cute, too. The hospitality was awsome and we enjoyed staying here so much. After the long hours driving and tough waiting hours at the border, we really thought it was worth coming just to stay at this house. Thank you so much Mr&Mrs Miller, and we would love to come here again!

Terra Nova is my first experience with a B&B and I loved it. As busy stay-at-home moms, it has been wonderful meeting my high school friend at such a warm & friendly place as this. Barry & Sandy make us feel "at home" without the stressful pace of our own homes. I feel like I'm back at my parent's house, where they take care of me, make sure I'm fed and well rested! Thanks for being part of such great memories for me and my friend!

My wife and I always try to stay here when we visit our child at GCC (five or six times by now). All the rooms have fascinating and distinctive personalities with very creative decor. Our hosts are warm and friendly. Breakfast is not only tasty, but we always enjoy meeting the guests (usually fellow parents of students like us). And the location, within walking distance of campus, is ultra-handy.

Barry, Sandy, Molly, and Jada made me and my daughter feel right at home when I visited to be with my daughter for surgery. Traveling in January I had pretty much my pick of where to stay. I do believe I made an excellent choice.
5 on April 23, 2007
As a first time experience, this B&B provided a standard which exceeded far from our expectations. The hospitality was warm and welcoming with a touch of curious kindness. My girlfriend and I felt at home at an unfamiliar area. The animals added a nice homey touch with their friendliness and extreme cuteness, meaning the kitty mostly though the dog is a cutie too :-D. The cleanliness is phenomenonal along with how the rooms actually look in person. This place is highly recommended if looking for a good well-priced, clean, welcoming, quality B&B.
