This is our 3rd stay at the Inn. We love the sight and the sounds of the area. The family at the Inn is fantastic. I use the word family because you feel like family when you arrive. You will not be disappointed .

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your kind review. For those guests who keep returning and become familiar to us, we do, indeed, feel like you are a part of our extended family - - our Inn family. We're glad you feel that way, too! We'll keep doing what we do to make sure you always feel like we're your home away from home! Hope to see you soon!

We arrived early and our room was ready. Lovely sunny room. Jody, our host was wonderful. She gave us tour of inn and adjoining cafe. My fiancé and I had a perfect weekend thanks to Jody and all of Strasburg.

Strasburg Inn Bed and Breakfast

4.2 on November 01, 2016

Very nice, quaint B&B in the middle of historic Strasburg, PA. The B&B has a dining area, ice cream parlor, and an old fashioned candy store as part of the complex. Very reasonably priced, friendly staff, and convenient to many local attractions, including the Sight and Sound theater. There was plenty of off-street parking. The only negative was that our room was next to main street so there was some street noise. We recommend the B&B and will likely stay there again in the future, but stay in one of the rooms away from the street.

Innkeeper Response
Some folks do find the street noise a little difficult, but it's the trade-off to being right on Centre Square in this charming town. Others mention how much they enjoy street-side rooms because they can hear the horses and buggies. Only half of our rooms face the street, and we can help you choose a non-street-side room for your next visit! Just give us a call!

Week night getaway

We were traveling with friends to the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster. We always enjoy staying at a bed and breakfast. This was a great choice. The Inn connected with an ice cream shop and small fudge, candy, and novelty store. We were served breakfast in the ice cream shop - delicious french toast and deep fried bacon!

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent experience. We're glad you found your stay with us enjoyable! I smiled at your comment about our "deep fried" bacon. Yup, it's amazing! Please come back and visit us again!

Lovely, Quaint, Adorable

My husband and I stayed the night for our 5th anniversary. Our room (traditional #5) was adorable, cozy, and a great place to hide out on a rainy Saturday night. The staff was very friendly and informative. We would definitely recommend the Strasburg Inn to travelers in the area.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for choosing to share your anniversary with us here at the Inn. Though the weather was gloomy, you are right that room #5 is a charming hideaway to just relax in. We thank you for your willingness to refer us to others, and hope you'll choose us again for your next trip to the area.

Very convenient

Loved the front porch! Given its central location we thought it might be much noisier but it proved otherwise

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your review and your comments about how enjoyable our front porch is! I notice that you only gave us "average" on almost every section and would like to know more details about why you feel we didn't deserve a higher score. Please feel free to contact me at the Inn if you'd like, so we have the opportunity to learn how we might improve your stay with us in the future. Thank you!

Very nice place to stay

4.4 on September 29, 2016

I recently stayed here one night. The overall experience was a great one. I was a late arrival and even thought there was no one to greet me personally, my key and welcome materials were awaiting me just as promised. The room was wonderful, with just some tiny details that indicated it would soon need a minor rehab. There is a lovely common room where a family or two can gather for coffee, tea, TV and board games. In the morning, breakfast is served at the restaurant next door. Breakfast is nominally a fixed menu that varies according to the day of week. Breakfast was plain, but very well done and plentiful. Two points I would make to future guests: First, the guest rooms are all on the second floor via stairs. Second, if you reserve via bedandbreakfast.com, the responses will seem a little impersonal. For me, these impersonal responses lowered my expectations before arrival. However, when I arrived, and especially after speaking with the manager, Jody, in the morning, you quickly realized that it is a very warm place.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for the time you took to write a review about your recent stay at our Inn. I'm glad to hear that the overall experience was "a great one". I'm glad we had a chance to visit in person, since you arrived late and we didn't get to meet at that time, and we had a chance to chat with one another. It is important to us that we give you a warm and personal experience, as well as a clean guest room and a hearty breakfast. I'm glad our ability to visit with you during your stay changed your first impressions of expectations before your arrival. Please come and visit us again...we've got more personal warmth to give out!

Had a wonderful time at the Inn on Thursday, Aug. 11. The manager of the Inn was very nice. The cleanliness question was the shower curtain had stains on it and the ceiling had some water stains. But overall it was a great place to stay and I would recommend it to my friends.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your review. By you mentioning water stains on the ceiling, I know immediately which guest room you stayed in. The wet, soggy spring here caused that staining from the attic, and because that room is so popular during nice weather, it's impossible to remove it from inventory for the week or so it would take us to remove the furniture and get the ceiling properly painted, then return the furnishings, etc. That item is on our maintenance list for when the colder weather comes in and people no longer care about the amenity that room offers. I do apologize for the condition of the shower curtain, however, and will bring that to housekeeping's attention immediately so that it can be cleaned or replaced. I'm sorry that was any kind of issue during your stay. I hope you can overlook these small inconveniences and will visit us again.
