Circa 1842 this five bedroom B & B was once a stagecoach stop along "The Great Glades Road". Now the heart of a 200 acre farm located near: Fallingwater, Seven Springs, United Flight 93 Memorial and 5 state parks. Walk the scenic fields for a beautiful vista of the Laurel Highlands or visit one of the 5 state parks nearby.

We stayed one night at the Glades on our way from NY to home in Cincinnati. The trip had been stressful, so our very warm reception at the B&B was most appreciated. Janet is a wonderful host; our room was clean and comfortable and both the food and the conversation with other guests at breakfast was a great stress reliever for us! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This was my first stay at a Bed and Breakfast - I'm sold and will do it again. Thanks for the hospitality.

We felt very welcome, and part of the family in just one overnight stay. We planned on leaving early the next morning, but ended up around the sumptuous breakfast table chatting for nearly 2 hours! House is gorgeous with old quality furnishings. Large bedroom with plenty of blankets, quilts, and pillows on a very comfortable bed. The house was beautifully warm (frigid outside when we were there), and we had no need to use the stocked fireplace in the bedroom. Janet recommended The Pine Grill restaurant - had a terrific meal there.
Thanks....I enjoy Inn-keeping!

Janet made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were SPOTLESS – Canopied beds, cozy fireplaces, elegant furnishings and old-fashioned cupboards full of vintage magazines. After an amazing nights sleep on premium mattresses we awoke to the smell of bacon, And as scrumptious breakfast followed. Janet's genuine hospitality won us over immediately. Glades Pike Inn tops our list of bed-and-breakfast experiences! Dakota, Heidi, and Sam

Last summer we made a reservation, and absolutely loved it. The innkeeper is so personable and down to earth. Even our teenage daughter loved it there. Quiet, cozy, clean, good food, what else could you want. We are definitely staying again this summer.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Glades Pike Inn. We were exhausted after a long day of biking from Ohio Pyle to Rockwood. Janet picked us (myself, my husband and our two kids, bikes and all!)and transported us to her beautiful bed and breakfast. She even stopped at a nearby farm that a friend of her's owns to let the kids pet the baby cows. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The blueberry waffles were delicious and we had nice conversation at the breakfast table with the other guests. We highly recommend galdes Pike Inn. We will definitely be back again!!

After calling Janet to get a room in the B&B, we found out that she also has a cabin about 7 miles into the Laurel forest. Perfectly secluded, the beautiful spot provided just the right amount of access and isolation. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations or comfort...two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, balcony, and skylight...a little luxury in the dense, rural woods. Janet made us feel completely welcome, and the cabin was the ideal location for a romantic and private getaway. We will only return to the Glades Pike Inn and Cabin while traveling through Pennsylvania.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn on a stopover to Ohio because we wanted to see Fallingwater and we wanted an Inn convenient to the PA Tpk. We were pleasantly surprised by the Inn and its rooms (spacious, comfy, historic, and with the modern convenience of cable TV. wifi and a ceiling fan) and delighted by Janet's hospitality. Not only was she a delightful hostess, she had great suggestions for dinner and local activities, and the breakfast she made for us and the other two guests was delicious and filling. Her homemade berry jam was an extra treat. She was right on time with early coffee, too, a MUST for me. My husband is a picky traveler, most comfortable in chain hotels and luxury resorts, so I always hold my breath when I book a B&B, but Janet made him right at home and made the stay great for both of us. We'll stop again the next time we are in the area, for sure. Not only did we really love our stay, I thought it was a great value as well. Now I'm thinking of booking the whole place for a family reunion sometime in the future.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights on a x-country ski vacation. The location was so convenient, close to ski rental and ski trails. Room was nice, clean, comfy. Breakfast was plentiful, healthy and delicious. Janet was very easy-going, accommodating. The ONLY problem was our room was cold. Probably because Inn is old, drafty, hence thermostat was kept very low. Other than that, we loved our stay here.

My children and I first started staying at the Glade in 1990. They went to Summer's Best Two Weeks, a christian camp in Boswell every summer. And I have to say we always looked forward to staying at the Inn and getting to visit with Janet and her mother. Over the years we have many great memories. I want to say the Inn is beautiful, cozy and very inviting. Janet always goes the extra mile whether it's her attention to details, fabulous breakfasts made from scratch or the wealth of information she offers. You will definitely leave grateful for the experience of meeting her and visiting her Inn.
