This was the perfect place for a weekend away from the hurry and demands of every day life. Gracious but comfortable, the Dragonfly B&B delivered a lovely weekend away in rural PA not far from Lancaster and Ephrata, PA. The host family was present and welcoming. The rooms are pleasant and very quiet, well maintained and well equipped. The full breakfast was served with homemade breads and excellent coffee.I left Sunday morning feeling refreshed and ready to face the world again. What a perfect mini-holiday this ended up being!

We were greeted upon arrival and given a tour of the home and property. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable! We had cable tv, a lovely bathroom, and a gorgeous view of the cow and horses. We were given plenty of privacy but still felt welcomed to ask any questions or express concerns. There were two ADORABLE dogs that we couldn’t get enough of, but they won’t bother you if you’re not a dog person. There’s a little living room upstairs with movies, games, and books that would be perfect fun for a group of family or friends! The breakfast was amazing, fresh eggs straight from the property’s chickens, locally sourced bacon, jams, homemade muffins, and apple butter from the family’s apple trees! We had such a lovely chat over breakfast that really made us feel at home. Before we left we were invited to feed the horses and cow. The experience was one to remember and at such a great price! We will definitely be back and will suggest it to everyone looking for a peaceful countryside getaway. Thank you!!

It took was lovely, overlooking the pool and fields of green. After relaxing with coffee on the porch, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Paul and Michelle joined us and conversation was fun and we found a common interest in music. We were then pleasantly entertained by their kids playing ukulele and piano! Great morning.

My wife and I just needed to get out of the hustle and bustle of DC for a breather. My 35th birthday presented the ideal opportunity. The Dragonfly was the ideal setting. The pool, trampoline and play set kept my children occupied for hours. The horses provided them great viewing pleasure. And, we were just able to take a breather in a serene setting. The Bias's warmth and hospitality was incredible and we certainly plan to be back. This was a great value for money, family getaway.
A large, bright room that includes a private bath with shower/tub. The room has a comfortable queen bed plus a set of bunk beds and can accommodate up to four guests, making it an affordable choice for a family.

We've raised 10 children in this house. A few years ago they started moving out. Since we have always enjoyed hosting family, friends, friends of friends, travelling missionaries, and others; we've had in mind for years to convert our home into a B&B. We've had folks from all over the country and the world stay with us, and we enjoy the variety of cultures and languages.
Tell us your needs; we'll do our best to meet them.
