My first opportunity to return to my childhood home after it became a B&B. The home is beautiful - it has been lovingly restored, bathrooms have been added, the grounds are nicely groomed. The innkeepers Rachel and Shane were most gracious, and showed me around the house so that I could see what they had done; I pointed out how it had been 50 years ago when I lived there. Sadly I could stay only one night, but I will be back! If you are in the area, spend some time there - you will not regret it.

Susquehanna Manor is beautiful! Rachel & Shane are friendly, welcoming and have created a charming home. The Manor is exquisitely appointed with attention to every detail. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. A pleasure to walk our small bichon frise around the large property. The delicious breakfast is served in their elegantly appointed dining room. We enjoyed our stay and loved the historic decor and attention to detail. Thank you for your friendly hospitality and lovely home!

We stayed in the Bluebell suite and found the Susquehanna Manor to be incredibly accommodating! Shane and Rachel were wonderful hosts and made us feel welcomed. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in, and the breakfast was top notch. The property is quiet and peaceful. I would recommend the Susquehanna Manor to anyone!

The suite was spacious, comfortable bed. Rachael is an outstanding innkeeper and her breakfasts are fabulous. On the downside the inn is on a busy highway which you don't see in the photos.

Owners were lovely & very accommodating. My husband has dietary restrictions & with no notice, they prepared a separate breakfast for him. Very knowledgeable on gluten sensitivities. We stayed in the Primrose Suite which was beautiful! Lots of extra touches like a stocked medicine cabinet with toiletries, should you forget something. My kids stayed in the adjoining sitting room/den. It was very comfortable, but I would suggest some better curtains on the windows so it isn't so bright in the morning. They are located central to all kinds of attractions - convenient to both Gettysburg & Lancaster & lots in between! Just loved this couple & had a great stay!

The best part of running a B&B is you we love to meet people from all over the world. Over the past 10 years we've had over 12 exchange students and multiple guest from around the world stay in our home. My husband and I talked about having a B&B many times it just so happens that we found the place of our dreams. We would love to share it with you! During your stay you will be taken to a time well before your years but that doesn't mean you will not have top grade accommodations.
