A quiet getaway

5 on January 14, 2018

The Inn at Westwynd Farm is a top notch bed and breakfast. I have stayed there multiple times and the owners are kind and helpful and want guests to enjoy their time at the Inn. The property is large and you are welcome to walk the fields and visit the horses in the barn. There are several living rooms where you can relax, some outdoor seating next to the fountain and pond, and large porches for enjoying the outdoors. The property is close to Hershey, PA, with many restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, but yet out among the fields of Central Pennsylvania. The Inn is clean, the breakfast is delicious, and the rooms are comfortable.

Took the Breakfast out of B&B

3.8 on January 07, 2018

I must say, the rooms are gorgeous, but they really took the breakfast out of Bed and Breakfast. The mediocre, uninspired "Captain Crunch French Toast" left us unimpressed, and seeking breakfast elsewhere. If you want a Bed & Breakfast that does breakfast well, I suspect you will need to go elsewhere.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your thoughtful comments. We are very glad you were pleased with your room. However,we were sorry to learn you were disappointed with breakfast. We always serve a fruit course and fresh muffins or bread followed by the main course with meat. Our French Toast is usually a favorite and frequently requested by returning guests. If we had known you were not happy with it. We would have been more than glad to prepare something else for you. Our guests satisfaction is of the upmost importance to us and our goal is to do whatever we can to make your stay outstanding.

Thanks to innkeepers Frank and Carolyn for their warm hospitality, beautifully appointed inn, and scrumptious breakfast prepared by Chef Dan. We stayed a week before Christmas. Everything you want at Christmas; everything you want a B'nB to be. Highly recommended.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your lovely comments. It was such a pleasure having you here, I shared your kind words with our staff. You certainly put a smile on everyone's face.

Beautiful scenery and wonderful hospitality

5 on November 11, 2017

Great scenery just right outside of Hershey, with horse farm right on the property. Everyone there is super friendly and makes you feel at ease. The rooms are all wonderful and have that authentic B&B look. The scenery is amazing, breakfast is amazing, and owners overall did a wonderful job. I would recommend this to friends and family.

Our Weekend Getaway

5 on September 24, 2017

Wow, what a beautiful place. We truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was so friendly and always taking the extra step to accommodate any request that we might have. This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast in the states, however, it will not be our last. The breakfast was so delicious and so large we skipped lunch. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We will stay again!! Thank, Carol and Pat

Great weekend getaway!

5 on September 05, 2017

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Inn at Westwynd Farm over Labor Day weekend. The setting is spectacular on a sprawling horse farm with views of rolling hills and the Hotel Hershey in the distance. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast both mornings was delicious and the servings were huge. We also enjoyed the fresh baked goods each afternoon...and evening :) The weather was not great but we managed to find things to do in the area, including dinner and craft beers at Troegs Brewery, an afternoon hike along the Horse-Shoe Trail (about 1 mile from the hotel - ask someone at the hotel for directions to the trail head), shopping at the Tanger Outlets, drinks at the Hotel Hershey and Warwick Inn in Hummelstown, and a stop off at the PA Renaissance Fair on our way back to Philly. We hope to return!

Wonderful!

We celebrated our 50th. Wedding Anniversary at Westwynd. I have been there 4 times and wanted to take my husband. It was wonderful! Everyone made us feel so welcome . My husband loved the farm. The service was over the top. We will go back.

Weekend with family and friends

5 on July 12, 2017

Our stay at the Inn was wonderful and we hope to return soon. Accommodations are delightful with comforts anticipated and met, and there are so many places to roam and relax at this B&B. Breakfasts were top shelf and snacks were homemade and ever-present. Spend time with the horses or sit outside in one of the peaceful gardens.

Birthday getaway
